Fans celebrated the L.A. Dodgers winning the World Series Wednesday night by turning the streets into chaos and committing crimes as police scrambled to bring it under control.

Witnesses shot video footage of crowds fanning out across L.A. after the Dodgers 7-6 victory over the New York Yankees in Game 5 of the World Series, propelling the team to their 8th championship.

The situation quickly dissolved into turmoil when people — some holding Dodger flags -- started lighting fireworks, smashing windows and reportedly looting at least one store in the downtown L.A. area.

Barack Obama says his daughters are trying to pave their own path to success without using their prominent last name -- especially Malia, who went so far as to change her credit in her directorial film debut.

The 44th president sat down with hosts Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark on "The Pivot" podcast for a wide-ranging interview, during which Barack addressed how his daughters Sasha and Malia deal with having such a famous last name.

Clark was first to bring up the subject, asking Barack if he and his wife, Michelle, have discussions with their girls about making it on their own.

Brianna LaPaglia isn't ready to address her high-profile split from country singer Zach Bryan ... saying as much in an update about her podcast.

The Barstool Sports personality, best known as Brianna Chickenfry, posted a message to fans on TikTok Wednesday evening, where she admitted she and "BFFs" podcast cohosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards tried to record a new episode, but were unable to due to her heartbreak.

She wrote ... "I am having a very hard time figuring out how I want to handle this publicly due to all the backlash. I am going to put my mental health first this week."

Los Angeles is home to the World Series champions once again -- the Dodgers just defeated the New York Yankees in five games to secure their eighth title in franchise history!!

Freddie Freeman and Co. handled business in dramatic fashion at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday ... with the away team trailing for the majority of the contest after N.Y. took a three-run lead in the first inning thanks to homers from Aaron Judge and Jazz Chisholm Jr.

The Dodgers were struggling to put anything together on offense as they found themselves down 5-0 heading into the 5th inning ... but that's when things got interesting.

Bill Belichick-themed Halloween costumes are clearly in this year -- not only are his current and former lovers dressing up as him for the October holiday ... so is his colleague, Ryan Clark!!

The former Pittsburgh Steelers safety rocked a realistic Belichick 'fit while appearing on Wednesday's episode of "Inside the NFL" ... complete with a wig and, of course, a cut-sleeve Patriots hoodie.

Clark did an impression of Bill while in the get-up too -- going off on a bit of a "Do your job!" rant to open the show.

Bronny James now has a spot on the NBA's all-time scoring list -- the Lakers rookie drained his first regular season bucket on Wednesday ... and fittingly enough, it was in his hometown!!

The Cleveland Cavaliers dominated the Los Angeles Lakers in a 134-110 blowout win at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse ... and in the closing minutes of the contest, the crowd chanted, "We want Bronny."

Lakers head coach JJ Redick gave the fans what they wanted ... subbing Bronny in with about five minutes left.

TMZ Sports has obtained police video of Patrick Mahomes Sr.'s June traffic stop ... and unlike his February run-in with cops, it all appeared to go smoothly for the father of Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes II.

We broke the story ... Mahomes Sr. was pulled over at around 8:30 PM back on June 29 in Tyler, Texas -- less than five months after he was arrested for DWI in the same city -- following claims he had committed a traffic violation.

Body cam footage shows that after an officer stopped him ... Mahomes Sr. was surprised to learn he had apparently broken the rules of the road.

Travis Kelce says things are still going strong with Taylor Swift, and he's thankful their friends don't gab about them to the media ... but are they really that private of a couple?

Well, that question is up for debate on "TMZ on TV" ... where our crew fired off the hot takes in reacting to Travis talking Taylor on his podcast with Jason Kelce and guest Niecy Nash.

2:20 PM PT -- Awesome gesture from the Yankees -- the team just announced the two fans' tickets will be redistributed to a pediatric cancer patient and his family.

10:35 AM PT -- The Yankees just confirmed it -- the two fans involved in the Betts incident will not be allowed inside the stadium for Game 5 of the World Series ... the last home contest of the year.

The team said in a statement to TMZ Sports the fans' actions were "egregious and unacceptable" ... and emphasized the safety of players, spectators and staffers at every game is something that can't be compromised.

"Tonight marks the final home game of year, and we want every ounce of our fans’ passion on display," the team said. "Yankee Stadium is known for its energy and intensity, however the exuberance of supporting one’s team can never cross the line into intentionally putting players at physical risk."

If the MLB had things its way, the two New York Yankees fans who interfered with Mookie Betts on Tuesday night would NOT be allowed back for Game 5.

Sources over at the league's offices tell TMZ Sports ... MLB officials are actively working with the Yankees to ensure the team bars the men from the World Series in New York on Wednesday night in wake of their Game 4 behavior toward Betts.

In fact, we're told the league's even willing to refund the two guys' ticket costs to make sure the ban happens.

Dallas Cowboys star Trevon Diggs just said sorry to the reporter he hit over the weekend with a "deez nuts" quip ... fittingly using some cans of peanuts to issue the mea culpa.

The cornerback and WFAA's Mike Leslie first got into their beef on Sunday night ... after the journalist made a social media post that appeared to call out Diggs' effort during a play in the Cowboys' 30-24 loss to the 49ers.

Diggs came out of Dallas' locker room irate with Leslie ... and yelled at him for several seconds. He then stormed off while shouting at the media member, "Talk about these nuts."

Who should be next up to challenge for the UFC's Middleweight title?? The champion, Dricus Du Plessis, has now weighed in ... telling us the answer is Khamzat Chimaev!

DDP joined Babcock on the TMZ Sports TV show (airs weekdays on FS1) ... where he was asked whether Chimaev vs. Robert Whittaker at UFC 308 to jump Sean Strickland, who many assumed would fight Du Plessis next.

"[Khamzat] went in there and was the first guy to ever submit Rob, and he did in the first round. That warrants a jump-the-gun on Sean Strickland for me. And if you ask me personally, that's a fight I would rather want, because it's a fight that the people want. It's a fight that more fans want, and I believe that Khamzat's the next best guy," Dricus said.

Of course, Strickland and Du Plessis previously fought at UFC 297 ... a fight DDP won by decision, leaving Scotiabank Arena in Toronto with the MW strap.

As for how a fight between Khamzat and other champ would look, we asked Dricus.

"You see Khamzat, he backs people up. I don't back up," DDP said ... noting Chimaev has faced the most difficulty against guys like Gilbert Burns and Kamaru Usman, who Du Plessis says "went out there and they fought him," adding, "They didn't defend his wrestling. They wrestled him back. They fought him."

Dricus continued ... "I don't know how to back up. I'm going to go out there and fight you. We've seen this with Khamzat, slowing down after the first round, round and a half. And I think that is because he uses so much power. He has the wrestling technique, of course, but he uses his strength as a weapon. In this case, he has a gun and I have a tank when it comes to the strength. There's not a middleweight that's going to overpower me. It's not going to happen."

As for what Dricus would say to Strickland -- who will surely be pissed at the latest turn of events -- the champ has a message for the challenger.

"Finish your fights."

And, for Chimaev ... "If it's Khamzat, you think you're strong, you think you're powerful, you have not felt anything. And I can't wait until I see it on his face because I see it on every single person I fight's face."

The Yankee fan who ripped a foul ball from Mookie Betts' glove has ties to Rob Gronkowski ... 'cause the Patriots legend says he went to school with the guy!!

The former superstar tight end came to the realization during his appearance on the "Up & Adams Show" ... when he was checking out footage of Austin Capobianco and fellow NYY fan, John Peter, interfering with Betts after he snagged the ball out of the air.

Gronk had an aha moment in real time ... seemingly completely unaware of his connection to one of the fans prior to joining the show.
