It's official -- Deshaun Watson's 2024-25 season is over ... after an MRI revealed the quarterback ruptured his Achilles during Sunday's game.

The news confirms what many assumed after watching the Browns' $230 million man fall to the ground in the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals ... with game footage showing Watson's tendon appear to pop as he tried to run prior to halftime.

Watson was untouched prior to hitting the turf ... and as he was tended to by the medical staff, his emotions made it clear it was serious.

Texas Longhorn fans cost their university a massive chunk of change with their trash-throwing antics during Saturday's game against Georgia -- the program got hit with a six-figure fine over the matter.

The SEC announced a $250K penalty following the No. 5 Bulldogs' 30-15 win over the No. 1 'Horns at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium ... after an incident that was sparked by a controversial pass interference call.

The play in question centered around Texas safety Jahdae Barron, who intercepted a pass that was meant for Georgia receiver Arian Smith.

Taylor Swift gave Dave Portnoy a big surprise this weekend -- a letter penned by the pop superstar thanking him for all of his support.

Portnoy -- the self-proclaimed "king of the Swifties" -- received the handwritten letter from Taylor's brother, Austin, who personally delivered it to the Barstool Sports owner before he attended the singer's "Eras" tour concert in Miami on Saturday.

Portnoy was so excited, his "BFFs" podcast posted the letter Sunday on Instagram with a caption that read,  “What a gift from @taylorswift to @stoolpresidente at last night’s Eras Tour.

LeBron James is pissed off at how Browns fans reacted to Deshaun Watson getting carted off the field on Sunday ... saying it's "LAME [as f***]" to boo someone when they're injured.

The controversial Cleveland quarterback suffered a potential season-ending ailment right before halftime in the Browns' 21-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals ... and as he was being taken to the locker room, the home crowd released a mixture of cheers and jeers.

King James -- who has been on both sides of the spectrum with Ohioans thanks to his departure for the Miami Heat in 2010 -- clearly took issue with how Browns supporters reacted ... going to X to tee off on the fanbase.

Aaron Rodgers threw two picks on the field on Sunday night and then added one more off of it -- as cameras caught him diggin' for gold in his nostrils right on the sidelines of the Jets game.

Check out footage from NBC's "Sunday Night Football" broadcast ... as Rodgers and his New York squad were getting pounded by the Steelers in Pittsburgh, the signal-caller took a few swipes at his nose.

Then, as you can see in the clip, he appeared to eat what he dug out.

Ricky Pearsall made his emotional return to the field Sunday ... playing his first NFL game after taking a bullet to the chest during an alleged robbery attempt -- and, he just made his first catch.

Just over 2 weeks before Election Day, Usher was at the podium Saturday for the Vice President's Atlanta rally ... where he touted Harris as a "new generation of leadership for our country."

The Grammy winner added that he's backing KH for prez because she "fights for everyone's rights, for freedom" ... and he reminded the crowd they're in the home stretch to get their candidate across the finish line.

Donald Trump's got a thing about Arnold Palmer's penis ... and he fixated on it for a few awkward, yet humorous, minutes during a rally in the golf legend's hometown.

The GOP presidential candidate did his ad-lib thing Saturday night in Latrobe, PA ... and, although his campaign suggested he'd start previewing his closing argument for why voters should send him back to the White House -- he instead opened with big d**k jokes.

Trump reportedly spent about 12 minutes saluting Latrobe's hometown hero, notably praising Palmer's manhood. The former prez said, "Arnold Palmer was all man, and I say that in all due respect to women. And, I love women, but this guy ... this is a guy that was all man.”

Cops certainly knew who they were arresting when they threw the cuffs on Rajon Rondo earlier this year ... as police body cam footage, obtained by TMZ Sports, shows officers discussed his NBA career just after pulling him over.

The stop, as we previously reported, happened back on Jan. 28 in Jackson County, Indiana ... after authorities alleged Rondo's black Tesla didn't have a license plate properly secured to its rear.

The video shows that after initially speaking with Rondo and obtaining his information ... cops went back to their squad car -- and chatted for a few moments about the ex-Celtics guard's time on the hardwood.

DeSean Jackson is looking for a new set of wheels to match his real-life speed once more ... as TMZ Sports has learned his super fast whip was just stolen from his Los Angeles pad this week.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... on Tuesday morning -- at around 8 o'clock -- Jackson noticed his 2023 Dodge Challenger Hellcat was missing, and not long after, cops went on the hunt to find it.

We're told authorities were able to track its location through a GPS inside the ride -- but unfortunately for the former NFL star, its signal went dead about 30 miles outside of L.A.

For the first time in 24 years, the Mets and Yankees have the chance to meet in the World Series -- and Mark Messier says the entire tri-state area is pulling for that dream matchup to become reality!!

TMZ Sports caught up with the New York Rangers legend (whose new Prime Video Series, "Game 7," drops on Oct. 22), and he told us if both teams are able to win their respective series ... the entire experience would be "incredible."

"Both teams have the opportunity to do it," he said. "They're good enough teams to do it. Let's just hope they their able to win both their series, and we're gonna be the benefactors of a great Subway Series."
