Mike Tyson's health scare in May has some fight fans worried about his chances against Jake Paul next month ... but that group doesn't include combat sports legend Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, who tells TMZ Sports he's still rockin' with the former heavyweight champ!

We recently caught up with the retired UFC superstar at LAX ... and asked for his thoughts on the November 15 mega fight between 58-year-old Tyson and 27-year-old Paul.

Even after dealing with the ulcer flare-up that caused the fight to be rescheduled (from summer to Nov. 15), Jackson tells us he'd never bet against Mike!

Team USA gold medalist Noah Lyles just hit another milestone -- the world's fastest man popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Jamaican sprinter Junelle Bromfield ... and she said "yes!"

Lyles got down on one knee on Saturday ... and shared the proposal with his 1.5 million Instagram followers.

The lovely couple had on their best 'fits as they walked through a fancy house ... when Bromfield realized the rose petals, candles, and a massive floral sign that said, "Will you marry me?"

Jason Kelce's no longer on the field, but one of his pregame teammates had a major fumble today ... with his cameraman crashing through an RV's roof and dropping his equipment.

While some people still might doubt Jake Paul when it comes to boxing, Mike Tyson sure doesn't ... 'cause the boxing legend TMZ Sports the "Problem Child" is a "dangerous opponent" ahead of their November fight.

But make no mistake ... that doesn't mean he doesn't expect to whoop his ass!!

58-year-old Tyson -- whose last sanctioned pro bout was in 2005 -- spoke with us a month before his Nov. 15 event against Paul, Netflix's first-ever foray into the sport.

Deshaun Watson's more focused on counting his money than throwing touchdowns ... so says ex-Cleveland Browns GM Michael Lombardi, who tells TMZ Sports the quarterback is "horrible" and lacks motivation after securing a massive guaranteed contract.

We caught up with the legendary horse trainer out at LAX `this week ... and the 71-year-old said it felt "great" to be back in the saddle after his suspension from the track was rescinded in July.

Baffert was punished in 2021 after his horse -- Medina Spirit -- was disqualified from the Kentucky Derby after it failed a drug test -- leading to runner-up Mandaloun being declared the winner.
