Shannon Sharpe is coming clean about his wild social media activity on Wednesday ... admitting he was not actually hacked when his Instagram went live during a sex act.

The Denver Broncos legend opened up on the shocking incident on his "Nightcap" show just minutes ago ... and he's chalking it all up to not being very tech-savvy.

"Obviously, I'm embarrassed for someone who is extremely private." Sharpe said ... adding he's "disappointed" in himself -- not for engaging in the act, but for the aftermath, especially how it affected people in his circle.

Nikki Bella is tapping out when it comes to her marriage ... because she just filed to divorce Artem Chigvintsev ... only weeks after he was arrested for domestic violence.

The retired WWE star beelined it to court Wednesday and filed for divorce after 2 years of marriage ... according to online records.

The divorce filing comes nearly 2 weeks after Artem was arrested Aug. 29 for felony corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant for allegedly attacking Nikki -- resulting in a visible injury that triggered his arrest.

Tyreek Hill is calling for the officer at the center of his controversial detainment to get the boot ASAP ... claiming his use of force during the traffic stop was "excessive, escalating, and reckless."

The Miami Dolphins superstar's attorney, Julius B. Collins, released a statement on his behalf ... saying his legal team thoroughly reviewed footage of the incident and noted several instances in which they believe the cop crossed the line.
