Noah Lyles is a true world champion ... crowned the "World's Fastest Man" after winning the 100m dash -- months after he told NBA champs to stop calling themselves world champions.

The Olympian just took gold in the men's 100m in a heart-stopping finish ... narrowly edging out Jamaica's Kishane Thompson by .005 seconds to win Olympic Gold.

In fact, the race was so close commentators initially thought Thompson won ... before the photo finish proved otherwise.

An Illinois man may be having some regrets today, after getting busted for allegedly making terroristic threats against Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce during a Morgan Wallen concert.

Aaron Brown was arrested over a social media post that went up shortly before the concert. He wrote, "Mr. [redacted] at Arrowhead with the wife. If he brings out [redacted] or [redacted] I'll take the f-in shot. F-k em!" He added, "Also, f-k you bitch!! [hand emoji with middle finger]."

It's seems pretty clear the redactions identify Mahomes and Kelce. Both were at the concert and got on stage with Morgan. Mahomes' wife, Brittany, was also at the concert.

Taylor Swift is all in with the Paris Olympics, narrating a promotional video celebrating the U.S. women who have kicked ass.

The track to the promo is her 1989 hit, "Style." Taylor pays homage to the 2024 greats ... Simone Biles, Katie Ledecky and Sha'Carri Richardson.

Gotta say ... the words mirror Taylor's own journey ... “Never be afraid to show them who you are, especially when the whole world is watching. Because there’s no one way to be the best. The champ joined Mojo Muhtadi on the  "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs nightly on FS1) ... and talked about his long-term goals now that he climbed the mountain in WWE and secured a world title.

"I need more, I'm not complacent," Priest said. "I'm the world heavyweight champ, but now what can I do? Can I be one of the greatest champions? Can I defeat every major Superstar, can I main event and continuously belong in that spot? Those are the things that matter to me now. Can I build a resume that can be Hall of Fame worthy?"

Khabib Nurmagomedov is arguably the greatest ever to grace an MMA cage, so with Deiveson Figueiredo training with the undefeated former UFC champion ahead of his fight with Marlon Vera, we asked "Chito" if he was concerned with the Brazilian star's secret weapon.

"I don't give two f***s who he trains with," 31-year-old Chito bluntly told TMZ Sports (let's be real, if you've followed Vera, you could've guessed his answer.)

36-year-old Figueiredo reportedly spent time training with The Eagle on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi ... the location of Saturday's UFC on ABC card.
