Flavor Flav says as soon as Snoop Dogg emerges in Paris with the Olympic torch in hand on Friday -- no one in the hip hop community will ever forget it ... explaining this week it'll be "a very, very big moment for rap music history."

Flav, of course, will get to see it all go down in person ... as he made the trip to France this month as part of his role as the official sponsor of the USA women's water polo team.

He told Charlie Neff and Towanda Robinson on "The TMZ Podcast" that watching Snoop with the flame is actually the "main thing" he's "really, really" looking forward to in the buildup to the Paris Games -- because he thinks people will be talking about it decades from now.

First up on "TMZ Live," Harvey and Charles look at Celine's warm welcome in Paris, where she is set to perform for the first time in years ... kicking off the opening ceremonies for the Paris Olympics.

Romanian gymnast Nadia Comaneci was only 14 years old when she skyrocketed to stardom after becoming the first gymnast to score a perfect 10.0 at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games.

In addition to her perfect-scoring status, the gymnastics icon scored six MORE perfect 10s and grabbed 3 gold medals. To no surprise -- but extremely difficult to do so -- she qualified for her 2nd games in 1980, taking 2 more gold medals and two 10.0s back to Romania.

Today, she's still recognized and respected as a gymnastics legend and continues to use her platform for leadership roles.

The Las Vegas Raiders are really poking the bear at training camp ... electing to take a playful shot at their division rival's best player, Patrick Mahomes ... with a Kermit The Frog puppet dressed up as the Kansas City Chiefs superstar!!

A Raiders spectator brought the troll job out on Thursday ... showing the puppet rockin' Mahomes' No. 15 jersey and a wig that's similar to his signature hair.

Two blonde Hollywood bombshells -- Charlize Theron and Elizabeth Banks -- hit the red carpet in a couple fabulous dresses ... CT looked angelic in all white while EB pulled off a black cocktail dress with a blue accessory draping down from her hip.

"Hawk Tuah" girl Haliey Welch is swinging back at Nick Kyrgios ... she says she doesn't wake up in the morning and hate on other people, unlike the tennis star!!!

We got the viral sensation at Beverly Hot Springs in L.A. and our photog asked her about Nick saying there's no longer a correlation between fame and talent.

Haliey -- who went viral for her street interview response, referencing fellatio in her unique way -- tells us she's not going to let Nick get under her skin.

The former UFC champion and WWE Superstar announced Thursday she's pregnant with her second child ... sharing the big news while speaking at a San Diego Comic-Con panel to promote her new graphic novel, "Expecting the Unexpected."

"Did anyone notice that I'm very pregnant right now? Yeah, I'm just as pregnant as 'Mom' is in the majority of the comic," Rousey jokingly said to the crowd in attendance.

IShowSpeed is more like IShowSpring now ... 'cause the internet superstar showed off his INSANE hops in a video on Thursday -- jumping over a speeding Lamborghini!!

Tom Brady is throwing a flag on the recent rumors surrounding his love life ... 'cause TMZ Sports is told the seven-time Super Bowl winner is not dating Sports Illustrated cover model Brooks Nader.

Multiple outlets stated this week the 46-year-old NFL legend was hooking up with the 27-year-old beauty ... with some claiming the two were even spotted in public together on several occasions.

Our TB12 sources say that's simply not true at all ... as Brady and Nader haven't even gone on a date. In fact, we're told the guy doesn't even have her number. There were rumblings Brady and Nader hit it off at Michael Rubin's famous white party ... and while it's unclear if that's true, nothing came of it.

12:09 PM PT -- The Dodgers just revealed Freddie Freeman will somehow play in Thursday afternoon's game. He's slated to play first base -- while batting third in the lineup.

Freddie Freeman's evening at the ballpark Wednesday turned into a night at a local hospital ... as his wife says the MLB star raced from Dodger Stadium to a nearby emergency room to be with their sick son.

Chelsea Freeman said in a post on her Instagram page -- just before Freddie and the Dodgers took on the Giants in L.A. -- that Maximus, the couple's youngest boy, needed a prayer after he had come down with what doctors believed was transient synovitis.

The ailment -- which causes extreme pain and discomfort in the hip -- was thought to have stemmed from a viral infection the 3-year-old contracted during the Freemans' trip to the All-Star Game in Texas earlier this month.

Great sign for Team USA Gymnastics ... Simone Biles just crushed the most difficult vault in existence during Olympic practice on Thursday -- and she made it look easy!!

The four-time gold medalist participated in the Red, White and Blue's practice sesh ahead of the 2024 Paris Games ... and based on the footage of the run-through, the rest of the world is in big trouble.

Biles went through the floor and beam routines ... but when it came to the vault, she did a Yurchenko Double Pike (AKA Biles II) -- which is when someone does a back handspring onto the springboard and follows up with two backflips in a straight-leg pike.

Gilbert Arenas is issuing a direct mea culpa to Luol Deng for his xenophobic comments about South Sudan's men's basketball team ... this after the African former NBA star released a powerful statement addressing the whole ordeal.

As we previously reported, Arenas faced a ton of backlash for going on an offensive rant on Saturday ... shortly after LeBron James and Team USA squeaked by South Sudan prior to the Olympics. Celtics legend Paul Pierce also found himself in hot water for making similar remarks during an appearance on "Undisputed."

The ex-Bulls and Lakers forward -- who serves as the president of the South Sudan Basketball Federation -- broke his silence on both Arenas and Pierce's controversial words directed at his native country's team ... saying he wasn't upset or angry by their words, but more "disappointed" it came from two former colleagues he's always respected.

Hulk Hogan's busy July isn't showing any signs of stopping ... the WWE legend was just spotted out at the Detroit Lions practice -- where he ran wild on a promo with head coach Dan Campbell!!
