Larsa Pippen, Marcus Jordan Hosting Celeb Hoops Game ... Love & Basketball!!!

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan are taking their love to the hardwood -- the couple is teaming up to host a celebrity basketball game ahead of the Miami Grand Prix!!

TMZ Sports has learned ... Larcus (yeah, we're coining that) are headlining the Wooshi World Celebrity Basketball Classic in Sunrise, FL on Wednesday, May 3 to benefit the "D Up on Cancer" charity.

Big names like Miami Dolphins superstar Tyreek Hill, Lil Pump, Ex-NFLer Bryant McKinnie, influencer Jen Selter and country artist Jimmie Allen are all slated to participate in the game at FLA Live Arena ... and the Chicago Bulls legend's son will serve as a coach.

The event -- also hosted by Celebrity Sports Entertainment, The Money Team and DJ Irie -- is another big step for Pippen and Jordan, who recently took things public after months of downplaying their romance.

Considering it's a special moment, it wouldn't be a surprise if Bravo cameras are present to get footage for a future episode of "The Real Housewives of Miami" ... which, of course, is the show Larsa appears on.

The two are pretty much inseparable at this point -- they've been going to romantic dinners, concerts and fancy boat trips together ever since they decided to go official.

Safe to say their relationship is a slam dunk!!

Tom Brady Threatens Lawsuit Over AI Special ... Comedians Take Vid Down

Tom Brady apparently didn't think an AI-generated comedy special about him was funny at all.

According to the comedians who helped create the viral, hour-long video -- which featured an animated version of the NFL legend telling crass jokes in a stand-up format -- TB12 threatened legal action over it just days after it was posted ... which forced them to wipe it from the internet this week.

Will Sasso and Chad Kultgen explained the situation on their "Dudesy" podcast on Tuesday ... saying that shortly after they helped put up the fake Brady comedy special on their Patreon page earlier this month -- they received a cease and desist letter from the G.O.A.T.'s attorneys.

The guys said Brady's lawyers claimed in the letter that the AI version of the future Hall of Famer "blatantly violates" the former quarterback's "rights" ... and if they didn't meet a list of demands -- which included taking down the video -- a lawsuit would be forthcoming.

Sasso and Kultgen clearly thought the whole thing was B.S. -- on their pod, they wondered how it in any away differentiated from live comedians doing impressions of celebs on shows like "Saturday Night Live" -- but they nonetheless acquiesced.

The comedians said they took down the comedy special at midnight Tuesday.

They added, though, the situation wouldn't prevent them from making further attempts at AI comedy ... perhaps even making one down that road that features President Joe Biden.

If DeAndre Hopkins ever gets bored catching footballs, he's got a career as a runway model to fall back on ... the Arizona Cardinals (for now) star walked in the 'Fear of God' fashion show Wednesday!

Several A-listers caught the star wideout on camera at the invite-only event for Jerry Lorenzo's fashion line ... held at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Cards teammate Isaiah Simmons shared footage of Hopkins walking the runway in a black two-piece fit and blue gloves.

DHop looked like an old pro on the runway, walking amongst the other professional models.

FYI, Hopkins signed with IMG Models in 2020. He was also named GQ's best-dressed athlete in 2019 and made Sports Illustrated's 50 most fashionable list in 2018 and 2019.

Hopkins has been enjoying the offseason ... aside from the modeling, he's traveled and hung out with his buddies, including former NFL star Dez Bryant, creating a helluva commotion in Dallas.

The Cardinals are reportedly shopping the 5-time Pro Bowler ... looking for a 2nd rounder plus "something else of value”, according to SI's Albert Breer.

Hopkins -- who served a six-game suspension last season for violating the league's PED policy -- was traded to Arizona in 2020 after seven seasons with the Houston Texans.

Michael Schumacher Magazine Posts A.I. Interview ... Family Taking Legal Action

The family of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher is furious with a German news outlet for publishing an artificial intelligence-generated interview with the seven-time world champ -- and now, they're threatening to take legal action over the whole ordeal.

A recent copy of the Die Aktuelle magazine featured a picture of a happy Schumacher ... promoting "the first interview" with the racing great following his tragic skiing accident in December 2013, which resulted in a serious brain injury.

The cover also featured the tagline, "It sounded deceptively real."

As it turns out, the cover story was entirely fake ... and it was later revealed in the article that Schumacher's quotes were made using AI -- which has led his family to kickstart a legal attack on the publication, according to Reuters.

54-year-old Schumacher hasn't spoken with the media since his accident ... and his family has elected to handle his recovery in private.

Michael's wife, Corinna, spoke about his condition in a documentary with Netflix in 2021 ... saying they do everything they can to make him feel comfortable at home.

Schumacher was as dominant as it gets during his 18-year run in F1 -- he is tied with Lewis Hamilton for the most championships after spending the majority of his career with Ferrari.

His son, Mick, is currently a reserve driver for Mercedes.

Grizzlies' Dillon Brooks Shades LeBron After Win ... 'He's Old'

If LeBron James needed any more motivation to win in this year's playoffs ... he certainly got it on Wednesday night from Dillon Brooks, who blasted the Lakers star as "old" after beating him.

The Grizzlies wing -- known as one of the biggest agitators in the NBA -- made the eyebrow-raising comments following Memphis' 103-93 Game 2 victory.

Brooks had gotten in LeBron's face repeatedly during the contest in Tennessee ... and when he was asked if he had considered that it could potentially set James off -- Brooks unloaded.

"I don't care," he said. "He's old. You know what I mean?"

Brooks then accused LeBron of only trash-talking back when the Memphis star got in foul trouble.

"I poke bears," he said. "I don't respect no one 'til they come and give me 40" points.

FYI -- LeBron had 28 points, 12 rebounds and three assists in the loss. Brooks, who said he prides himself on his defense, had 12 points, one rebound and three assists in the win.

The two teams won't play again until Saturday night for Game 3 of their series ... and something tells us LeBron's now going to be pretty pissed off heading into the tilt in L.A.

Getcha popcorn ready!!!

Chael Sonnen Youth Wrestler Shouldn't Be Banned For Life ... For Sucker Punch

DISGUSTING CONDUCT
TMZSports.com

Chael Sonnen says he was disgusted by the viral video of a youth wrestler sucker punching an opponent after a match ... but tells TMZ Sports the kid should NOT be permanently banned from the sport.

Of course, a 14-year-old SPAR Academy wrestler was hit with a vicious punch after beating his opponent in a local wrestling tourney at Oak Park River Forest H.S. in Illinois on April 8th.

Video of the incident went viral, and many believe the puncher should receive an indefinite ban after the cheap shot that injured the wrestler's nose.

But, Sonnen -- a former college All-American wrestler and MMA legend who currently runs his own submission grappling promotion -- feels otherwise, believing a ban will not help the situation.

"I would tell you as a coach, the worst thing that a young man should have is free time," Sonnen told us. "It's probably one of the reasons that his parents got him enrolled and enlisted him in something like wrestling in the first place."

"To kick the kid out and have him just roaming the streets and doing something else I think should be given a real consideration."

"This was a terrible moment, but it could also be a teachable moment."

The 46-year-old, rather than burying the kid, is instead showing empathy, saying he doesn't want the young man's entire life judged off a five-second clip.

"We don't know the rest of the story. For sure it was terrible action but to ban a kid for life, I think there's a discussion that at least deserves to be had."

Sonnen also feels for the injured wrestler ... though Chael points out wrestling's a physical sport, and competitors sometimes lose their tempers.

"The gentleman that you saw getting hit likely has lost his temper before, too. Maybe it was at practice, maybe he didn't hit quite as hard, maybe it wasn't caught and shown to the world but it's a very normal thing in wrestling," Sonnen said.

"Wrestlers tend to forgive other wrestlers and I bet if you asked that kid that was hit, what he wants to see happen, he does not tell you ban that kid or put him in jail."

Oak Park Police Department is currently investigating the incident. As for any potential ban, officials have not yet decided what punishment the kid will face.

Jonathan Majors Report: More Alleged Victims Coming Forward ... Attorney Says He's Innocent

There appears to be a reason why Jonathan Majors is being cut from projects as his team jumps ship ... he reportedly has more alleged abuse victims waiting in the wings.

The alleged victims are coming forward and cooperating with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, according to Variety.

Majors' lawyer Priya Chaudhry tells TMZ ... "Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. We have provided irrefutable evidence to the District Attorney that the charges are false. We are confident that he will be fully exonerated."

As we reported, Majors was arrested last month in New York City for misdemeanor assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault, and harassment after allegedly slapping his girlfriend in the back of a taxi cab.

Variety reports the alleged incident is just the tip of the iceberg ... which explains why honchos in the entertainment industry are distancing themselves from the "Creed III" star.

Remember ... in the wake of his arrest, Majors was dropped by his management team, and a major PR firm pulled the plug on working with him. He's also been uninvited from the upcoming Met Gala.

Majors' attorney claims the alleged victim from the NYC arrest texted the actor after he got busted to say ... "she was the one who used physical force against him."

As you know, Majors has been working nonstop in Hollywood lately ... he's set up to be the next big villain in the MCU after starring in the recent 'Ant-Man' movie.

NFL Prospect Michael Jefferson Optimistic For Full Recovery After Car Crash ... Still Hoping To Be Drafted

UPDATE

5:44 AM PT -- 5/4 -- Cops in Alabama say their initial report of Michael Jefferson's car crash was wrong ... telling TMZ Sports on May 2 they believe the 2023 NFL Draft prospect was the one who was impaired on the night of the tragic wreck -- not Charles Dunn. Click here for the full story.

NFL prospect Michael Jefferson is optimistic he'll make a full recovery from the injuries he sustained in a fatal car crash earlier this month ... and everyone in the former college football star's camp is still holding out hope a team will pick him in next week's draft.

Brad Sohn, Jefferson's attorney, said in a statement Wednesday that while the ex-Louisiana wideout will need to "undergo a grueling rehabilitation" after he was badly hurt in the April 9 accident in Mobile County, AL ... Jefferson still thinks "he can have an outstanding NFL career."

"We believe that optimism is well-founded," Sohn said, "and hope a team still will select this terrific young man and great football player."

Sohn declined to say what injuries Jefferson suffered in the wreck ... though he added in his statement the 23-year-old is "in good spirits under the circumstances."

"Michael would not have made it this far without being a fighter," Sohn said.

We broke the story ... cops say an impaired driver, 55-year-old Charles Dunn, slammed head-on into Jefferson while the two were on a four-lane road on Easter night. Officials say when Jefferson spun out of the initial collision, another car barreled into him. Dunn was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jefferson, who logged 51 catches for 810 yards and seven TDs last season, had been rated by some pundits as one of the 30-best wide receivers available in this year's NFL draft class ... and was expected to be a mid-round pick next weekend prior to the accident.

Johnny Manziel's GF Dom. Violence Claims Are Bogus ... My Account Was Hacked

Johnny Manziel's girlfriend, Kenzie Werner, says the former Heisman Trophy winner did NOT abuse her ... claiming a post on her social media page Tuesday night that said otherwise was the result of hackers -- and nothing more.

The Instagram Story went up on Werner's IG at around midnight ... and it was extremely graphic.

The post showed four pictures of Werner with various injuries on her face and her body. In one, she had bruises on her breast. In another, she had blood near her nose. The others showed markings around her eyes.

The caption on the post read, "this is from johnny manziel." It also featured a link to Manziel's Instagram page. The story remained up for a few minutes ... before it was taken down.

Werner, though, said in a new post on Wednesday afternoon she had nothing to do with it all ... writing, "was hacked last night. just got my account back. please disregard what was posted. it isn't as it seems."

Tyler Terry, a rep for Werner, tells TMZ Sports ... the photos were not related to Manziel or their relationship at all. The rep was emphatic that the former Cleveland Browns quarterback has never abused her.

We're also told the injuries shown in the pics were not related to domestic violence -- they were a result of an accident at work, where a three-liter bottle of champagne fell on her.

Manziel and Werner have been dating since at least early 2022 ... and have appeared to be a strong couple the entire time.

In fact, the two just recently took a vacation to Miami, where they joked about a bird taking a crap on the ex-NFL player's head while they were relaxing on a beach.

We're also told the two were together in Arizona in the hours prior to Tuesday night's post ... showing no signs of issues whatsoever.

Tiger Woods Undergoes Surgery ... For Leg Injured In 2021 Accident

Tiger Woods is still dealing with the aftermath of his horrific car accident -- the golf superstar just underwent yet another surgery on the leg he damaged in the crash.

The 47-year-old's team shared the update on social media just minutes ago ... saying Tiger had a subtalar fusion procedure to treat post-traumatic arthritis he's experienced after fracturing his ankle bone in the Feb. 2021 incident.

Woods' team says he went to Dr. Martin O'Malley at HSS Sports Medicine Institute in NYC ... and the procedure was a success.

"Tiger is currently recovering and looks forward to beginning his rehabilitation," the statement read.

It is unclear when Woods will be able to return to the golf course ... but he hasn't been 100% ever since the accident.

As we previously reported, Tiger suffered major damage to his right leg, which included comminuted open fractures to both his upper and lower tibia and fibula during the crash. All of it required several procedures to fix.

Most recently, Woods had to withdraw from the Masters in the middle of the third round due to plantar fasciitis.

Madison Bumgarner Unloads On Cards Star ... 'Shut The F*** Up!!!'

Madison Bumgarner went ballistic on Cardinals star Willson Contreras during their game on Wednesday ... telling the St. Louis catcher to "shut the f*** up" -- while appearing to call him a "p****."

The Diamondbacks pitcher fired off the NSFW commentary after Contreras got mad at himself for fouling off a pitch in the third inning.

It's unclear exactly why the former World Series MVP was so ticked at Contreras for the reaction ... but a hot mic captured almost the entirety of his ensuing rant.

"Shut the f*** up," Bumgarner can be heard saying on the game's broadcast ... before he mouthed the words, "You p****."

Bumgarner later could be seen appearing to tell the 30-year-old, "F*** you!"

Contreras motioned to Madison's catcher as if to signal he needed to do something about Bumgarner's language and demeanor ... but the chatter continued nonetheless.

The at-bat ultimately concluded with a walk ... and after Contreras flipped his bat on the way to first base, Bumgarner looked like he had even more words for the St. Louis hitter.

It seems Contreras will get the last laugh in the situation, though -- Bumgarner got shellacked during his short outing, giving up seven earned runs in three innings, and the Cards are now up 14-4 on the Snakes with another inning left to go.

CONSIDERED ALL OPTIONS
Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovalioa just revealed he considered leaving his NFL career behind due to the numerous concussions he suffered last season ... but ultimately, he couldn't bring himself to retire.

The Dolphins QB -- who missed multiple games last season while battling head injuries -- told reporters Wednesday that the concussion that ended his season in December actually had him thinking about his future.

"I think I considered it for a time," Tua said. "Having sat down with my family and having sat down with my wife and having those conversations. But it would be hard for me to walk away from this game, with how old am I, with my son."

"I always dreamed of growing, playing as long as I could to where my son knew exactly what he was watching his dad do. It's my health. It's my body. I feel like this is what's best for me and my family. I love the game of football."

Tagovailoa, 25, suffered what appeared to be his first head injury of the season against the Bills in September -- and then he suffered a devastating concussion just days later against the Bengals.

The scene in Cincinnati was scary ... he lost consciousness after hitting his head on the ground while getting tackled -- and had to be stretchered off the field. He was out of action the following two weeks before returning for the Dolphins' game against the Steelers in Week 7.

Tagovailoa then suffered another concussion against the Packers on Christmas, forcing him to miss the team's final two games. Some head injury experts like Dr. Bennet Omalu strongly urged him to retire.

But Tua was emphatic Wednesday it's just not going to happen now ... saying he's actually taking jiu-jitsu classes to ensure he learns how to fall safely.

Tua added that he's also been working with neurologists ... who have told the former Univ. of Alabama standout they are not concerned about CTE based on his situation.

Joe Mixon Appears In Court ... Pleads Not Guilty In Aggravated Menacing Case

Joe Mixon appeared in an Ohio courtroom on Wednesday to fight back in his aggravated menacing case ... pleading not guilty to the misdemeanor charge he was hit with earlier this month.

The NFL star wore a white button-down shirt and dark pants for the occasion ... and said nothing to reporters neither during his arrival nor during his exit at his arraignment hearing in Hamilton County.

During the proceedings, Mixon entered his plea ... and his bond was set at $10,000.

As we reported, Mixon was initially charged with aggravated menacing on Feb. 2 -- after prosecutors said he threatened to shoot a woman during a road rage incident on Jan. 21.

The charge was dismissed after officials said they needed "additional investigation" -- but it was refiled on April 7 after authorities said they found new evidence in the case.

The Bengals said in a statement at the time of the refiling that they were aware of the charge and were "monitoring the situation."

NFL's Chris Claybrooks Arrested ... Allegedly Destroyed Woman's Phone At Theater

Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Chris Claybrooks was arrested in Nashville over the weekend ... after officials say he destroyed a woman's phone during a wild dispute at a movie theater.

According to court documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, the alleged altercation between the football player and the woman went down at around 8 PM on April 14 in the parking lot of the Opry Mills establishment.

Prosecutors say Claybrooks had been there watching a movie with his girlfriend, when a woman showed up and attempted to inform the GF that she and Claybrooks had been together the night before "and that she had proof they were together on her phone."

In the docs, authorities say the woman told them Claybrooks then "grabbed her hand that was holding the phone and ripped it from her grasp." Claybrooks then allegedly chucked the device into the ground, destroying it.

According to the docs, the woman suffered bruises and abrasions on her hand from the incident. Officials say cops also observed that her phone was, indeed, broken.

The 25-year-old defensive back was arrested over the incident on April 15 ... and eventually hit with two criminal charges -- misdemeanor domestic assault causing bodily injury and misdemeanor vandalism of $1,000 or less. He's due in court for a hearing on the matter in May.

Claybrooks' attorney declined to comment on the case when reached on Wednesday.

The Jaguars, meanwhile, said in a statement they were "aware of a recent incident in Nashville, Tennessee involving Chris Claybrooks and are currently in the process of gathering information."

"We will have no further comment at this time," the team added.

Claybrooks, a former Memphis Tigers star, was a 7th-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft who went on to sign a 4-year rookie contract with the Jags worth a little over $3 million.

He's appeared in 46 games in his three years with Jacksonville ... totaling 81 tackles, and five pass deflections. He's also worked as the team's kick returner.

NBA Star Bradley Beal Attorney Blasts Lawsuit ... 'There Will Be No Settlement'

UPDATE

9:03 AM PT -- Bradley Beal's attorney, Dan Morgan, is slamming the new lawsuit ... calling it "frivolous litigation" -- while promising "there will be no settlement" with the accuser.

UPDATE

"No charges have been filed and he is now trying to change the narrative," Morgan said. "We will make sure the standard is clear -- you can't harass people, call them racial slurs, talk about their family, insult their character… and then turn around a sue them on top of that."

UPDATE

"This is America," he added, "we believe in Justice here."

Bradley Beal is now being dragged to court over his tiff with fans following a game against the Magic last month ... TMZ Sports has learned a lawsuit was just filed against the Wizards star on Tuesday.

In the docs, Kyler Briffa alleges he was the man who Beal got physical with during a March 21 altercation inside Amway Arena in Orlando, Fla.

Briffa says he and a friend got courtside seats to the Wizards vs. Magic tilt -- and were eventually allowed to go inside a team tunnel following the contest to interact with Washington players as they made their way into the visitor's locker room.

Briffa claims things were going fine -- until his friend made a comment to Beal about losing a bet during the game.

According to the suit, Beal "stopped, turned around, walked back toward the unsuspecting [Briffa] and without a word, intentionally struck the side of [Briffa's] head knocking his hat off of his head."

Briffa claims the hat flew "5-6 feet behind him." He then says Beal started to bully, threaten, intimidate and humiliate him in front of other fans -- which included children.

He added that he believed Beal "was attempting to provoke a physical altercation."

In the suit, Briffa says it was all finally broken up by a Wizards staffer -- who escorted the shooting guard away from the area.

Briffa says he suffered emotional distress and pain and suffering from the incident. He's suing Beal for assault. He's also suing the Wizards for negligence. He's asking for more than $50K in damages.

For Beal's part, he generally acknowledged the incident during a season-ending interview with media members earlier this month ... saying he never appreciates being heckled over gambling and betting.

Police, meanwhile, said they launched an investigation into the incident ... though no charges have been filed.

NHL's Morgan Barron Needs 75+ Stitches After Skate To Face ... Returns To Game

Here's more proof hockey guys are the toughest people out there -- NHL center Morgan Barron took a skate to the face that resulted in 75+ stitches on Tuesday ... but somehow, he managed to return and finish the game!!

It all went down at the T-Mobile Arena ... when Barron suffered the injury in the first period in Game 1 of the Western Conference first-round series between the Winnipeg Jets and the Vegas Golden Knights.

A scrum for the loose puck ensued by the net ... and as players from both teams converged, Vegas goalie Laurent Brossoit's skate inadvertently cut Morgan's face, causing him to bleed.

The 24-year-old -- who got hurt with 10:43 left in the first period -- emerged from the tunnel and returned to the game with 13:24 left in the second.

After the game, Barron told reporters the injury wasn't as bad as it looked, adding the medical staff did an excellent job of fixing him up.

"I was trying to figure out if the puck went in because it was pretty close," Barron said. "I saw the skate coming. It was an unlucky play. The first thought was that I could see out of the [right] eye was the main thing."

Given the magnitude of the matchup, Barron said there was no doubt he would return ... and felt that as long as he was stitched up well enough, he could help his team's chances.

In the end ... the Winnipeg Jets won the game 5-1 over the Knights, and Barron earned his peers' respect for his grit.
