Kanye West Rips Adidas For 'Yeezy Day' ... I Didn't Approve!!!

Yeezy Day is here again -- and Kanye West is pissed about it ... claiming Adidas never got his approval for this year's event, and going off about several other issues he has with the brand.

The artist spelled out his issues in an IG message to Complex on Tuesday ... which marks the third annual Yeezy Day, where Adidas re-releases a lot of the popular models from Ye's sneaker line for two days.

Ye didn't hold back about Three Stripes -- saying, "Adidas made up the Yeezy day idea without my approval. Then went and brought back older styles without my approval."

The 45-year-old says he didn't give the "okay" to the brand on damn near everything -- including colorways, names, or hiring people that worked for him.

"Went and hired a GM of Yeezy without my approval," West said. "Took talent on the production side and sprinkled them throughout Adidas originals without my approval."

Of course, Ye's anger toward Adidas may be stemming from their recent beef over the release of their own slides ... which he claims was a rip-off of the Yeezy slides.

Ye also speaks about this in the message ... saying, "When I originally ordered Adidas to make more Yeezy slides, the GM lied to my face and said they didn't have the capacity."

"Meanwhile, Adidas was copying my slides and making their own versions of the Yeezy slide."

"Yeezy is 68% of Adidas online sales," Ye said. "God step in."

The collab between Ye and Adidas started in 2015 -- when the first model 'Boost 750' was released. In 2020, Ye's sneakers reportedly made nearly $1.7 billion in annual revenue.

Kanye signed a new deal with Adidas that runs through 2026 ... so it may be time for a meeting.

Future F1 Star Oscar Piastri I'm Not Joining Alpine In 2023 ... 'This Is Wrong'

Alpine reserve driver Oscar Piastri is calling B.S. on his own team ... saying he will NOT be taking Fernando Alonso's seat next season -- just hours after the organization initially announced the move.

The 21-year-old Australian prodigy went to social media on Tuesday to address Alpine's statement ... saying it's not true and he did not sign off on it.

"I understand that, without my agreement, Alpine F1 have put out a press release late this afternoon that I am driving for them next year," Piastri said on Instagram.

"This is wrong and I have not signed a contract with Alpine for 2023. I will not be driving for Alpine next year."

The denial comes after Alonso's shocking exit from Alpine for Aston Martin next season ... and amid rumblings of McLaren's interest in bringing Piastri in.

Alpine's original statement read ... "BWT Alpine F1 Team confirms 21-year-old reserve driver Oscar Piastri as Esteban Ocon’s teammate starting from 2023."

"In line with the commitments made by the team to the young Australian, Oscar will be promoted to race driver and step in Fernando Alonso’s seat from next year onwards."

A Formula 3 and 2 champ, Piastri's F1 debut is highly anticipated to say the least ... but by the sounds of it, it won't be in the blue and pink BWT car.

Deshaun Watson Ban NFL In 'Really Tricky' Appeal Situation ... Andrew Brandt Says

TIME IS TICKING
TMZSports.com

The NFL is in a damned-if-it-does, damned-if-it-doesn't situation regarding the appeal of Deshaun Watson's suspension ... so says Andrew Brandt, who said on "TMZ Live" on Tuesday the league is now in a "really tricky" spot.

With Sue L. Robinson suspending the Cleveland Browns star six games on Monday following allegations the 26-year-old QB was sexually inappropriate with multiple female massage therapists, the NFL now has roughly one and a half more days to decide if it wants to appeal that ban.

Most think the league should -- six games, after all, feels awfully light when considering the nature, and number, of the accusations -- but Brandt told Harvey and Charles appealing to make sure Watson serves a longer punishment is no slam dunk.

As for why -- the famed business and legal analyst says the NFL might not want to undermine Robinson's decision ... seeing as the league will be working with the former judge on similar cases in the future.

"That may be why -- along with changing the focus to back on the field -- to say, 'OK, we're going to take the six games and run,'" Brandt said. "Even though the public opinion on the other side is that this is way too light."

If the NFL does ultimately decide to appeal, Brandt said he expects Watson's suspension to significantly lengthen.

"It's going to be fascinating to see if they do [appeal] or not," he said.

The league has until Wednesday to make a decision.

Soccer Player Attacks Female Ref Over Yellow Card ... Arrested

Horrifying scene at a soccer game in Argentina this weekend -- when a male player absolutely lost it and attacked a female referee after being handed a yellow card.

It all went down during a third division match between Garmense and Independencia of the Tres Arroyos Regional League ... when player Cristian Tirone unleashed on official Dalma Cortadi while her back was turned.

In video of the incident, you can see several players try to stop the attack ... but to no avail.

Cortadi fell to the ground after the hit ... but was eventually able to get back to her feet. She was later taken to a hospital, but luckily, she didn't suffer any serious injuries.

Tirone was immediately taken off the field and arrested .... and Cortadi says she has filed charges against the player.

Garmense released a statement on the awful incident ... saying, "Given the events that occurred this Sunday during the Third Division football match that was played in the city of Adolfo Gonzales Chaves between Garmense and Independencia, during which a player from Garmense physically attacked the woman who officiated as referee, the Club expresses its energetic repudiation of this action that is at odds with the spirit that is intended to instill with the practice of this sport."

Tirone has been permanently banned from the soccer league ... and Cortadi agrees with the decision.

"You have to kick him out forever," she told La Nacion. "He should never be in any club. He is a violent person. He must also be in his daily life. I saw it on the video: a normal person does not do what this man did. No person deserves this. We don’t go to the [matches] to be beaten."

"I hope he pays for what he did."

Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross Suspended, Slapped W/ $1.5M Fine ... For Tampering W/ Brady

The NFL is coming down hard on the Miami Dolphins, docking the org. two draft picks, including a 1st-round selection, for tampering with quarterback Tom Brady, the league announced on Tuesday.

Team owner Stephen Ross was also suspended until mid-October, and fined $1.5 million!

After a six-month investigation, the NFL says they concluded the organization violated the Anti-Tampering Policy on three separate occasions ... twice with TB12, and once with then-New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton.

"The investigators found tampering violations of unprecedented scope and severity," Commissioner Roger Goodell said.

"I know of no prior instance of a team violating the prohibition on tampering with both a head coach and a star player to the potential detriment of multiple clubs over a period of several years."

The investigation focused on whether team officials improperly attempted to communicate with Brady and Payton over a period of years. It also centered around a claim made by former head coach Brian Flores ... who says Ross incentivized him to lose, in an effort to get a higher draft pick.

The NFL found the Dolphins had "impermissible communications" in 2019-20 with TB12 when he was still a member of the Pats org. and in 2021 when he was Bucs QB.

According to the NFL, Ross and/or his business partner spoke with Brady and his agent, Don Yee, about the prospects of Tom becoming a minority owner of the Dolphins, and possibly playing for the team.

In 2022, the Dolphins again had forbidden communications with Yee, who also repped Payton, about bringing Sean on board as the team's head coach.

As for the allegations made by Flores, the league determined the Dolphins did not intentionally lose games during the 2019 season, and no one instructed BF to lose.

Flores issued a strong statement following the NFL's ruling, slamming Goodell and the league.

"I am thankful that the NFL’s investigator found my factual allegations against Stephen Ross are true," Flores wrote.

"At the same time, I am disappointed to learn that the investigator minimized Mr. Ross’s offers and pressure to tank games, especially when I wrote and submitted a letter at the time to Dolphins executives documenting my serious concerns regarding this subject at the time, which the investigator has in her possession."

Meanwhile, Ross released a statement, saying ... "As I have said all along, these allegations were false, malicious, and defamatory, and this issue is now put to rest."

"With regards to tampering, I strongly disagree with the conclusions and the punishment. However, I will accept the outcome because the most important thing is that there be no distractions for our team as we begin an exciting and winning season."

SR concluded by doubling down on his desire to win.

"I will not allow anything to get in the way of that."

All told, the Dolphins lose their 2023 1st-round pick and 2024 3rd-round pick. Ross is suspended until October 17, on top of the $1.5M fine. Vice Chairman Bruce Beal was fined $500K, and is banned from league meetings for the entire season.

Paraglider Narrowly Cheats Death ... Terrifying Scene Caught On Video

Paraglider Kevin Philipp is lucky to be alive after his glider lines became badly entangled while plummeting to the ground -- before literally getting his rescue parachute open about one second before impact!

And, the entire death-defying ordeal was caught on video.

Philipp shared the terrifying clip Monday ... showing him paragliding thousands of feet in the air when suddenly his lines become tangled. Badly tangled.

KP -- who's an aerobatic paraglider (think crazy stunts under a large glider) -- desperately tried to straighten out the lines, but the attempt was futile.

It appears Philipp attempted to deploy his reserve chute, but that wouldn't open, either.

Then, about a second before the would-be impact, Kevin ripped the bag containing the rescue chute, which then opened ... in all likelihood, saving his life, and at the very least, averting serious injury.

"Oh my God!" Philipp yells after landing (hard) into a small tree.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Philipp posted the video on YouTube, explaining "strong turbulence" caused the lines to tangle.

As for how close he was to disaster, Kevin wrote ... "The falling speed increased a lot due to the twisting wing. Very last chance was to manually open the rescue package. Estimated time left about 1 second This was not the day to die!"

Despite the close call, Philipp says incidents like this are uncommon.

"This occasion is quite unlucky and rare. Just to keep in mind. Fly high, land safe 😉"

San Diego Padres Hello, Soto!!! ... Completing Trade For MLB Superstar

UPDATE

11:41 AM PT -- After rejecting the trade, Hosmer has now reportedly been sent to the Boston Red Sox instead. A Nats-Padres deal for Soto, however, is still expected to be completed nonetheless.

UPDATE

10:44 AM PT -- Hosmer will not be going to D.C. as part of the trade -- he officially vetoed the deal, according to Mark Feinsand.

UPDATE

9:19 AM PT -- According to both Morosi and Sherman, Hosmer has a no-trade clause that could prevent this iteration of the Nats-Pads deal from going through.

UPDATE

Hosmer, per the two MLB Network reporters, must waive the clause for the trade to become official.

The San Diego Padres just got a whole lot better -- they're trading for Nationals superstar Juan Soto.

MLB Network's Jon Morosi reported the deal just went down minutes ago on Tuesday morning -- with Washington agreeing to send the perennial All-Star along with slugger Josh Bell to San Diego for a bevy of players.

According to Morosi, in return for Soto and Bell, the Nats are getting three of the Padres' top minor league prospects (pitcher Jarlin Susana and outfielders Robert Hassell III and James Wood), along with shortstop C.J. Abrams.

MLB Network insider Joel Sherman added that Padres pitcher MacKenzie Gore and first baseman Eric Hosmer will also go to Washington in the deal.

The trade is being touted as one of the biggest in MLB history -- given just how good Soto is.

At only 23 years old, Soto is already a two-time All-Star, two-time Silver Slugger winner and a World Series champ. In his five MLB seasons, he has 119 home runs and a career batting average of .291.

The Padres -- who also acquired All-Star closer Josh Hader from the Brewers this week -- will now look to couple Soto with superstars Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, good luck with pitching to that!

Lakers Owner Jeanie Buss My Twitter Was Hacked ... I'm Not Selling PS5s!!!

No, Jeanie Buss did NOT pick up a side hustle selling PlayStation 5 consoles this summer -- the Lakers owner says her Twitter was hacked!!

Buss' social media was the latest to fall victim to the viral video game scam ... in which hijacked accounts send out posts about selling PS5s.

Buss' fake offer was angled around her team -- with the message claiming the profits from the deal would go to charity ... and whoever buys the console would have a chance to get Laker tickets.

Of course, anyone who spends time on Twitter knows it's clearly a scam ... but Buss released a statement on Tuesday making sure there wasn't any confusion.

"Lakers Fans, my Twitter account has been hacked," Buss said on the official team Twitter account. "Please do not engage with it or send any money. These are NOT legitimate offers. The Lakers will alert you when I am back in control of my account."

Of course, this is the Internet we're talking about ... so a lot of people had their fun at the Lakers owner's expense.

Hopefully, no one fell for it!!

Lewis Hamilton Joins Broncos Ownership Group

Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton is taking his talents to the NFL -- the 7-time world champion is joining the Denver Broncos ownership group!!

The Walton-Penner family -- which bought the team for a record $4.65 billion back in June -- announced the big news on Tuesday ... saying they're "delighted" to bring Hamilton on board.

"He is a champion competitor who knows what it takes to lead a winning team and a fierce advocate for global equality, including in his own sport," Rob Walton said in a statement.

"With over 100 race wins, Lewis is considered the most successful F1 driver of all time. His resilient spirit and standard of excellence will be an asset to the ownership group and the Broncos organization."

Broncos star quarterback Russell Wilson certainly seems thrilled with the addition ... tweeting out, "Congrats @LewisHamilton. Winning is a Habit! #LetsRide."

Lewis also addressed the news ... saying, "Excited to join an incredible group of owners and become a part of the @broncos story."

"This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to impact the sport and work with a world class team. I'm ready to get started and serve as an example of the value of more diverse leadership across all sports."

Hamilton is tied with Michael Schumacher for most world championships in F1 ... and is currently 6th in the 2022 standings.

After going 7-10 last season, the Broncos will be hoping Hamilton's winning is contagious.

Antonio Brown Starts New Dance Craze ... 'Put That S*** On!!!'

Antonio Brown almost certainly won't be on an NFL field this year -- but his dance moves just might be ... 'cause the former Bucs wideout has created a new trend, and it's catching on!!!

Brown came up with a finger-pointing vibe for his song, "Put That S*** On" -- and as he's been performing it at music events across the country, fans have been eating it up.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

In fact, the dance has grown so popular in the last few weeks, LeBron James and Draymond Green were just spotted in Canada hitting it. New Orleans Saints tailback Mark Ingram also did it during a training camp practice last week as well. Quavo was even seen hitting it this week, too.

Baltimore Ravens star QB Lamar Jackson, meanwhile, said on social media earlier this week he "can't wait" to do it during a game this season.

Brown -- who's at least temporarily ditched his NFL career to pursue a spot in the music and entertainment world -- has been soaking it all up, reposting vids of the dance all over his Twitter and Instagram pages.

As for how to do it, Brown says it's fairly simple -- "When they say 'Do Yo Dance', you say: 👈👈🕺🏿👉👉."

"The Griddy" dominated the NFL in 2021 -- but could AB's new move dethrone it in 2022? Sure seems like it's on its way!

Jarvis Landry Needs Insane Full-Body Cupping Sesh ... After Practice In Heat

Jarvis Landry may have grown up close to downtown New Orleans, but the NFL star is still getting used to practicing in the Louisiana heat -- needing a wild, full-body cupping session after his first day in full pads.

Landry -- who spent 3 seasons playing for the LSU Tigers -- posted a shot of his cupping sesh after Monday's practice ... and it looks pretty intense.

In the pic, Landry is laying flat on his stomach, and you can see dozens of cups all over his body -- from his back down to his ankles.

"My First Full Padded Practice Back In This Louisiana Heat," Landry wrote on Instagram. "Nola:1 Juice:0."

FYI, cupping is an ancient practice that is still widely used today ... where a therapist applies special cups to someone's body to create a suction effect.

Cupping can be used for various reasons ... but it's known to help with pain, inflammation, and blood flow.

Juice's full body cupping sesh garnered reactions from some of the guys he used to share a huddle with ... like NFL tight end David Njoku, who wrote, "MY GOD😭😭 MEDIC!!!!!" in the comment section.

Another one of Landry's former teammates, wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones, also hit up the comment section, writing, "Ayoooo😂😂😂."

Jarvis already had a scare at camp this season ... going down to the ground and limping after catching his first rep, so the 5-time Pro Bowl wideout is sparing no expense to make sure he's ready for the season opener.

Blueface Fights Chrisean Rock on Streets of Hollywood ... Caught on Video

LATE NIGHT FIGHT

UPDATE

8:08 AM PT -- A source within LAPD tells us there's been a crime report started, and the incident is officially under investigation. We're told cops will look to interview both Blueface and Chrisean, as well as review additional surveillance video from the scene. Once the investigation is complete, it'll be sent to prosecutors for possible charges.

UPDATE

7:15 AM PT -- Despite the fight, Blueface and Chrisean went home together ... we know this because he just posted video of them in a bedroom, which reveals what might have started their confrontation.

UPDATE

In the video, he says he went through Chrisean's phone and claims he found out she was, at the very least, in touch with several other men. Blueface goes in on her pretty hard, accusing her of being a whore ... which she seems to be denying.

UPDATE

He also refers to her as Baby D and Rocky, and shows off a shiner under his eye. It's not a good situation.

Blueface got into a knockdown, drag-out fight with gf Chrisean Rock on the streets of Hollywood early Tuesday morning ... and it's all caught on video.

It appears Chrisean is the initial aggressor, following the rapper as he walks down the street and grabbing at his shirt, yanking him backward.

She pushes Blueface while still clutching his shirt, and then smacks him across the face.

Blueface then slugs Rock in the head, knocking her to the ground and ripping off the chain around her neck.

She then drags him by his shirt around the corner, where Blueface throws her against the wall and strikes her several times in the head and body.

It's a bizarre encounter ... at times seemingly in slow motion. Eventually, the fight just peters out, and they go their separate ways.

Cops were called but by the time they arrived both Blueface and Chrisean were nowhere in sight.

We've reached out to Blueface ... so far no word back.

Tiger Woods Turned Down LIV Golf's $700-$800 Mil ... Greg Norman Says

Tiger Woods could have been nearly $1 BILLION richer if he had joined LIV Golf this year ... so says Greg Norman, who confirmed the new, Saudi-backed league offered the legend around $700-$800 million to defect from the PGA Tour.

Norman, who's LIV Golf's CEO, revealed the details of the staggering offer during an interview with Tucker Carlson that aired on Monday night -- saying the huge proposal came from the league even before he had officially taken the executive role with the org.

"That number was out there before I became CEO," Norman said. "So, that number's been out there, yes. And, look, Tiger's a needle mover, right?"

"So," he added, "yes, that number is somewhere in that neighborhood."

Tiger, of course, did not accept the offer ... and when he spoke about the new golf org. while at The Open in Scotland last month -- he ripped some of golf's biggest stars for taking the money and bolting from the PGA Tour.

"I think that what they've done is they've turned their back on what has allowed them to get to this position," Woods said of the LIV golfers -- which includes huge names like Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau and Dustin Johnson.

Woods also called out Norman for his role with LIV at the July event -- saying he didn't believe the former golf star was doing things that were "in the best interest of our game."

"What these players are doing for guaranteed money, what is the incentive to practice?" Woods added. "What is the incentive to go out there and earn it in the dirt? You’re just getting paid a lot of money upfront and playing a few events and playing 54 holes. They’re playing blaring music and have all these atmospheres that are different."

LIV Golf officially kicked off with an event in London in June -- and during the tournament, the PGA Tour announced indefinite suspensions for anyone competing in it.

Jake Paul Challenged By Bola Osundairo ... Fight Me Saturday!!

READY FOR ACTION

Hasim Rahman Jr. out -- Bola Osundairo in ... vs. Jake Paul?!

If one of the brothers who assisted Jussie Smollett in his hate crime hoax gets his way, that's exactly what'll happen ... 'cause Bola tells TMZ Sports he's ready to fight Saturday night at Madison Square Garden, as was originally scheduled.

“Do not cancel that fight Jake Paul. Fight me instead. I am ready to fight this Saturday," 28-year-old Bola said Monday afternoon.

073022_jake_paul_kal
SCARED & UNPROFESSIONAL

The 2-0 pro fighter (who also had several amateur fights) tells us he's a superior fighter to both boxers Jake was set to scrap with August 6.

"I’m ready to fight. I’m better than Hasim Rahman Jr., or Tommy Fury. I’m actually ranked higher than Tommy Fury and he has 8 pro fights, and I have 2 pro fights. He’s ranked 340, I’m ranked 193."

23-year-old Fury -- Jake's original opponent -- dropped out of their fight after having Visa issues, leaving him unable to reach the U.S.

Of course, Bola was one of the two brothers who assisted Jussie in his hoax attack ... before cooperating with authorities. Smollett was ultimately convicted of 5 felonies.

In ways, the fight makes more sense than Rahman Jr., who's significantly bigger than Jake (Hasim previously fought weighing over 260 pounds). The fight fell apart over weight issues ... the 12-1 boxer wasn't going to be able to make 200 pounds, as was contractually obligated.

NOT A FAIR SHAKE

Bola is 6'1", 188 pounds ... virtually identical to the 6'1", 190 pounds that Paul weighs.

And, Osundairo says he's more well-known than Rahman Jr. ... so it'd be an even bigger draw.

"People know me. People know of me. I’m one of the Nigerian brothers involved in the Jussie case, the Jussie Smollett case. So it will sell, this fight will sell. People know me more than Hasim Rahman Jr. Nobody knows him outside of boxing."

Bola ended with a shot at Jake (and Jussie).

"This will be a real fight. This won’t be like the Jussie Smollett fight. This will be a real actual beatdown, Jake Paul. So after I beat you up your name's gonna change to Jackie Paulette."

Deshaun Watson Women Org. Rips 6 Game Suspension ... 'Insulting & Dangerous!'

"It is unacceptable, insulting, and dangerous!"

That's the National Organization of Women (NOW) responding to Deshaun Watson's six-game suspension for sexual misconduct ... telling TMZ Sports it clearly shows "money talks, and women are unheard."

Watson's six-game suspension was announced Monday after disciplinary officer, former U.S. District Judge Sue L. Robinson ruled the Browns QB violated the NFL's personal conduct policy, sidelining Watson for roughly a third of the season.

NOW -- the nation's leading organization for women's rights -- says the ruling is "unacceptable, insulting, and dangerous" ... but not surprising, 'cause the league and its players have been in similar situations before.

"The NFL has had a violence against women problem for years -- and everyone knows it," NOW said.

I'LL PROVE MYSELF
Cleveland Browns

It's worth noting the NFL didn't hand down the suspension ... that was the former judge's call. In fact, the NFL reportedly wanted Watson to receive a significantly stronger suspension.

The league can appeal the decision, if they choose.

National Organization of Women also called out the Browns organization for giving Watson a $230M contract despite the accusations, 20+ lawsuits, and a pending suspension.

"They re-structured his contract to make the majority of his $46 million first-year payout a “signing bonus,” not tied to him playing actual games," NOW said.

"Shame on the Cleveland Browns for rewarding Deshaun Watson and shame on the NFL for perpetuating a system where money talks, and women aren’t heard."

In fact, NOW believes the 26-year-old shouldn't see a dime from the contract, on top of demanding the NFL change its policies.

"Deshaun Watson must not be allowed to profit from his horrific behavior," NOW said, "and the NFL must change its business model that allows, enables, and hides sexual misconduct into one that respects women and holds abusers accountable."

Watson -- who was never criminally charged -- settled 23 of the 24 lawsuits (as of Sunday). Barring an appeal that's upheld, Watson will be available to play QB against the Ravens Week 7.

Rolando McClain Ex-Cowboys LB Arrested Again ... In Alabama

More legal trouble for former Dallas Cowboys player Rolando McClain -- the ex-linebacker has been arrested again in Alabama, TMZ Sports has confirmed.

The 33-year-old, who last suited up in the NFL for the Cowboys in the 2015 season, was pulled over in a white 2022 Mercedes around 9:30 PM on Saturday, according to the Moulton Police Dept.

Cops say McClain was going 70 MPH in a 55 MPH zone ... and during the ensuing stop, police say they smelled an odor of marijuana emanating from his car.

According to cops, when they got McClain out of the ride, he told them there was a pistol inside of the vehicle that did not belong to him. Cops say they later determined McClain did not have a license to carry a concealed weapon.

Officers also say that during the search of McClain's car, they found a pouch of chewing tobacco that they say also had a separate bag of marijuana in it.

McClain and the passenger in his car, Detrick Mostello, were then arrested, cops say.

McClain was booked on charges of speeding, possession of a concealed weapon without a permit, and misdemeanor unlawful possession of marijuana. Mostello, meanwhile, was booked on the same charge of misdemeanor unlawful possession of marijuana.

Both men bonded out shortly after they were booked.

Of course, this is not McClain's first run-in with the law in Alabama -- you'll recall, he was also arrested in 2017 and booked then for possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon.

McClain -- the #8 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft -- played five seasons in the league ... three for the Raiders and two for the Cowboys, piling up a career tackle total of 407.
