Jay Cutler’s feeling the heat from his DUI arrest -- he is still allowed to drive, but there are strings attached, TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the former NFL star can’t get behind the wheel without using an interlock ignition device. So, if he doesn’t pass the Breathalyzer in the car, that car’s not moving!

As we told you, the police report we got revealed Kristin Cavallari's ex-husband rear-ended another car Thursday night in Franklin, Tennessee -- and when officers showed up, they caught a strong whiff of booze. Police also said he had bloodshot eyes and was slurring his words.

The New York Mets are pulling out all the stops to keep their postseason dreams alive ... as they brought The Temptations to Citi Field to perform the national anthem and sing their hit, "My Girl."

The song -- which became Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor's walk-up track back in May -- became popular with fans before his at-bats ... with many singing along to the tune even after it would be cut off by the stadium speakers.

It wasn't just the fans enjoying the performance ahead of Game 5 ... as even Lindor was seen on the field vibing along to the legendary group as he was going through his pregame warmups!!!

Francis Ngannou will carry his son's name with him forever ... the MMA superstar just revealed a tattoo tribute to Kobe months after his death.

The new ink was spotted on Friday at Ngannou's weigh-in for his PFL Super Fight against Renan Ferreira ... which goes down this weekend in Saudi Arabia.

The two bumped heads during the event ... but after the tension between the fighters calmed down, Ngannou flexed for the camera with his arms raised, displaying the tattoo on his left bicep.

"Lil Wayne," he said. "I would love it, and I will ask him, if Lil Wayne wants to be a part of the parade with me. That'd be quite an honor. He's a New Orleans, Louisiana legend. We love him."

9:09 AM PT -- We've now obtained the arrest report in which cops claim they responded to a call at around 5 PM Thursday about a White Ram that had allegedly rear-ended a car and had attempted to pay off the other driver with $2,000 so they wouldn't call the police.

When they arrived, they say they found Jay Cutler staggering around, slurring his speech and smelling of alcohol. Officers say Cutler claimed he hadn't had anything to drink before amending his statement and saying he had a little. Cops say he turned down the field sobriety tests. At that point, the officer arrested Jay.

Another officer searched his car and says he found a rifle in the backseat and a loaded Glock handgun in the center console.

His court date is set for January 2025.

7:40 AM PT -- Jay Cutler's DUI arrest started with an afternoon car accident. According to law enforcement, he allegedly rear-ended another vehicle, and when officers arrived they noticed a strong smell of booze. They also claim Cutler was slurring his words and had bloodshot eyes.

We're told he refused to take field sobriety tests, but cops took him to a hospital to get a blood sample. No word yet on what his BAC was. Cops say one of the 2 firearms in Cutler's vehicle was a loaded pistol.

Jay Cutler spent time in a Tennessee jail Thursday after he was busted for driving while intoxicated and gun possession ... TMZ has learned.

The former NFL star and ex-husband of Kristin Cavallari was arrested for DUI and 3 other offenses Thursday evening in the city of Franklin, TN. The other crimes were failure to exercise due care, violation of implied consent law, and possession of a handgun while under the influence.

Cutler was booked into the Williamson County Jail, where he posed for a scruffy mug shot -- and, as you can see, the dude doesn't look too happy. Jay posted $5,000 bond and was released later that night, according to a rep for the Franklin Police Department.

It's clearly not peanuts and Cracker Jacks at the ole ball game for Magic Johnson these days ... check out the dish the NBA legend was munching on during L.A.'s playoff game Thursday night -- it's far from traditional ballpark grub, to say the least.

Floyd Mayweather, boxing legend ... and landlord?!

TMZ Sports is told Mayweather has inked a massive, $402 million real estate deal to buy more than 60 buildings in New York City ... totaling more than 1,000 units around the Big Apple.

"Growing up I used to dream about owning just one home by myself, when you work hard you can achieve anything," Mayweather told us after agreeing to the deal, and sending a huge chunk of change to the sellers.

47-year-old Mayweather is buying the properties, mostly located in upper Manhattan, from Black Spruce Management, according to the Real Deal.

We're told Floyd is aiming to provide affordable housing to families who are struggling to get by.

Of course, Floyd was one of the greatest pugilists to ever step into the squared circle, retiring with a 50-0 record after defeating Conor McGregor in August 2017.

Radio host Tony Massarotti is apologizing for muttering a racial slur while live on air this week ... telling his fans he had no idea the term was a derogatory one.

Massarotti unleashed the 80-second mea culpa during Thursday's episode of "Felger & Mazz" ... insisting he had no malice in his heart when he said "z*****head" during his show on Wednesday.

Massarotti was adamant he was simply trying to poke fun at his Gen Z-aged colleague ... and nothing further.

Patrick Mahomes Sr. tried to use his son's name to get out of his DWI stop earlier this year ... with police video -- obtained by TMZ Sports -- showing the elder Mahomes tell cops multiple times that an arrest would likely cost the Chiefs star and his team Super Bowl LVIII.

It all happened back on Feb. 3 -- after authorities in Tyler, Texas pulled over Mahomes Sr. following allegations he was driving a white four-door Genesis that didn't have updated registration.

Initially, Mahomes Sr. -- wearing a hat with his son's branding on it as well as a "Kansas City Vs. Everybody" sweatshirt -- was cooperative and cordial with cops. The police video shows he handed over all of the information and paperwork that officers wanted -- and he even passed along an open can of Coors Light that he had in his center console cupholder.
