Looks like WeHo Pride kicking off this weekend might be more tense than celebratory ... we've learned cops are gearing up for the worst amid recent global events.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... with the Pro-Palestine Rally going down in West Hollywood Saturday, coupled with anger from Donald Trump supporters over his recent conviction in the hush money case, cops are bracing for a rocky ride.

We're told there'll be uniformed deputies scattered all over the place, along with cops in plain clothes, and a heavy dose of surveillance.

Donald Trump's longtime friend Bernard Kerik has some thoughts on how he should serve his time if his guilty verdict lands him behind bars.

Kerik -- who served as Commissioner for the New York City Department of Correction as well as the NYPD commissioner -- tells TMZ segregating Trump in a prison facility isn't enough ... he needs his own facility for safety reasons.

BK -- who received a Presidential pardon from Trump in 2020 for numerous federal convictions -- explains Trump wouldn't be a high-risk inmate in terms of fighting guards, inmates, or attempting an escape -- instead, the environment around him would be high-risk.

"The View" hosts couldn't contain their excitement a day after Donald Trump was convicted -- especially Whoopi Goldberg ... who took her sweet time to rub it in on the air.

The actress-comedian -- who apparently hasn't used Trump's name on the show in years -- riled up the crowd at the end of the show ... when she repeated "guilty" 34 times in reference to all of DJT's convictions, for 34 seconds no less.

Donald Trump hit the streets of New York City to decry his 34 felony convictions Friday ... or, at least a few people thought he did when a stellar impersonator pulled up to the sidewalk.

We got a bunch of Trump supporters out in NYC Friday ... including some who honed in on a limo bearing a fake presidential seal on the door -- with a man in a suit and MAGA hat inside waving at the assembled crowd. It might look like DT ... but it ain't the real McCoy.

Watch ... the limo's rolling past, and Faux Trump's waving at the onlookers and blowing kisses in their direction -- and, from a distance, he looks a lot like the embattled former president. He then pulls over to the side and clearly, it's not DJT.

Michelle Obama's mother, Marian Robinson, has died ... this according to the former First Lady.

The family broke the news together Friday, saying Marian passed away Friday morning -- with them adding ... "She passed peacefully this morning, and right now, none of us are quite sure how exactly we’ll move on without her."

Michelle herself issued some remarks as well, saying ... "My mom Marian Robinson was my rock, always there for whatever I needed. She was the same steady backstop for our entire family, and we are heartbroken to share she passed away today."

Donald Trump is using his soapbox to decry the guilty verdict rendered against him in New York -- calling it a sham and corrupt, while also insisting ... he wanted to get on the stand.

Rumblings about Donald Trump allegedly saying the n-word have circulated for years -- but now, an ex-producer on "The Apprentice" is definitively claiming ... yeah, he said it.

Donald Trump clearly had trouble taking the heat at the Libertarian Party's convention Saturday, because he got super agitated after enduring a wave of boos.

Trump told folks at the convention, they should nominate him as its candidate, but members were having none of it and vocalized their objections.

The Party only gets a small fraction of votes, but that could make all the difference in a close race.

Pres. Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden turned the White House into the hottest spot in town with a swanky state dinner for Kenyan President William Ruto and his wife Rachel.
