Florence Pugh's looking out for Number 1 on the call sheet ... saying she decided to take a break from acting after waking up one morning and realizing she's missing out on a ton of life.

The actress talked to British Vogue about trying to re-establish a work/life balance ... saying she took the first break of her career this summer because she's been jumping from project to project with limited time off recently.

Pugh -- who calls herself a "work maniac" -- says she was feeling absolutely exhausted ... and, she's worried she's too focused on work and not enough on really enjoying her life.

Chad McQueen, who famously played Dutch in the 'Karate Kid' movie franchise, is dead ... TMZ has learned.

Chad died Wednesday at his ranch in Palm Desert, CA as a result of organ failure ... according to his longtime attorney, Arthur Barens.

We're told he had an injury a few years ago which led to progressive organ failure and ultimately killed him.

Rachel Uchitel, the famed nightclub manager best known for being Tiger Woods' former mistress, is shedding light on her decision to snub "Celebrity Apprentice" over a decade ago.

We caught up with the TV personality in New York City on Tuesday, where Rachel reacted to the first trailer for the new Trump biopic, "The Apprentice" ... and spilled all about her connection to the former prez.

As Rachel put it ... she doesn't think the movie -- which follows Trump's early days as a businessman in the Big Apple -- will hurt the presidential hopeful's campaign, noting people may not like him, but they are certainly entertained by him.

He'll also have signed pro-shot pics available for purchase ... for a whopping $160.

While Majors will be in good company at the popular convention -- "Lord of the Rings" legend Andy Serkis, "Star Trek" actor George Takei, and "Halloween" alum Tyler Mane will also be in attendance -- the public appearance is a far cry from where his career was before his arrest and subsequent domestic violence trial.

Lee Daniels' new horror movie "The Deliverance" is so freaky, actress and stunt double Janeshia Adams-Ginyard says the director made sure to offer prayer sessions during filming.

We got Janeshia at LAX and our photog asked her about Lee's latest offering on Netflix. She worked as the stunt double for Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor in the film and took a beating, and not just physically.

Janeshia says the demonic aspects of the film were a lot for folks on set, so Lee organized prayer circles to keep vibes high ... and basically ward off any evil spirits.

"Rust" prosecutor Kari T. Morrissey wants another shot at trying Alec Baldwin ... and has asked the judge to reconsider the decision to dismiss the involuntary manslaughter charge against the actor.

In new court documents filed Wednesday ... Morrissey went after Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer's grounds for dismissing the case -- in which she ruled Baldwin had been prejudiced by the prosecution's suppression of evidence.

This meant Baldwin could not be charged with involuntary manslaughter in the case again ... but prosecutors are now asking the judge to reconsider her ruling.
