Jeremy Renner's near-fatal snowplow accident has really taken a toll on his career -- 'cause he says he's limited in the type of work he can do these days ... because he's still healing.
The actor went on the "SmartLess" podcast and says he's channeling all his energy into his recovery of late -- this, of course, after he was crushed by a snowplow in 2023 -- which is why he apparently can't take on certain roles for the time being.
JR explains that he can no longer take on challenging parts when getting on-camera because it simply takes too much out of him ... namely, time/energy he doesn't have anymore.

A James Bond fan looking to pay his respects to Roger Moore is revealing a troubling discovery -- the late 007's resting place has been vandalized ... TMZ has learned.
The fan -- who wants to remain anonymous -- tells TMZ he stopped by the Cimetière de Monaco, a small exclusive cemetery in La Colle, Monaco, and tried to find the late actor's tombstone last week. He was looking for the burial site's unique marker ... a large family crest.
Well, he found the grave -- but also found the large shield representing Moore's family has been ripped off ... and he snapped pics of the bare gravestone to prove it.

Tamayo Perry, a surfing legend known for appearing in the 4th 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie, has died ... authorities have confirmed.
The famed surfer passed away Sunday following a shark attack in Oahu, Hawaii ... as Tamayo's body was found by local surfers off Mālaekahana Beach. According to Stab Magazine, TP's arm and leg were missing when they recovered his body.
Honolulu's emergency services say a bystander actually witnessed the attack near Goat Island on Oahu's famed North Shore.
