AMC is getting a "Sicilian message" of sorts from one of the "Goodfellas" crew after the network slapped a new warning on the mob classic ... causing fans to flip more than Tommy -- aka Joe Pesci -- being told to get his shine box.
Here's the deal ... TMZ recently reported AMC added a warning over outdated stereotypes in addition to violence and language ... and, it caused some serious online backlash.
Frank Sivero, who played the hilarious stone-cold killer Frankie Carbone, tells TMZ the trigger warning is not just unnecessary ... it is an insult to the actors, who include Robert De Niro and the late Ray Liotta.
'Little Mermaid' Director Disney Values Message Above Story ... Needs 'Course Correction'
Disney's gone off the deep end with their woke messaging and needs to focus on the building blocks of story, so says the director of several Mouse House classics.
John Musker -- who directed the animated versions of "The Little Mermaid," "Aladdin" and "Moana" -- called out the content giant during an interview with El PaÃs ... basically saying Disney's gone overboard on getting their message across.
JM says, "I think they need to do a course correction a bit in terms of putting the message secondary, behind entertainment and compelling story and engaging characters."

Joe Morton would love to reunite with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves for a 3rd "Speed" movie ... but isn't yet sold on the plot, TMZ has learned.
The actor tells TMZ ... he'd love to be a part of "Speed 3," after Sandra and Keanu both expressed an interest in rebooting the franchise. However, Joe -- who played Lieutenant Herb 'Mac' McMahon in the OG -- says there are some big questions that need to be answered before he signs on for any new movie.
He adds ... "'Speed' was a wonderful roller coaster ride; the bus had to careen through the city and jump a gap in a bridge and couldn’t go below 50mph or it would blow up -- what’s 3’s vehicle?"

The iconic "Home Alone" house is up for sale, but it's coming along with a bit of controversy -- 'cause despite realtors' claims, TMZ has learned the movie wasn't shot inside.
Julio Macat -- cinematographer for the 1990 Christmas classic -- tells TMZ ... exterior shots for the movie were filmed at the home now on the market, but they never actually shot scenes inside the home.
Instead, we're told the film was shot at the then-defunct New Trier Township High School in Chicago on massive sets.

An award-winning horror short set in Red Lobster never got a proper release because the chain got wind of the flick and told the director to throw it overboard.
Robin Comisar, writer and director of "Great Choice" -- which gained a cult following thanks to fan-altered bootlegs -- tells TMZ after his 2017 flick starring an up-and-coming Carrie Coon started making waves on the festival circuit, he got hit up by RL brass.
Robin declined to get into specifics about the chat ... but pointed out the obvious ... "Great Choice" never got an official release, which he says has been frustrating since he was so stoked about the project.
MORGAN SPURLOCK 'SUPER SIZE ME' DIRECTOR DEAD AT 53
Morgan Spurlock -- the filmmaker behind the famous "Super Size Me" documentary -- has died at 53 after complications of cancer.
His death was confirmed by his family Thursday who said, he "passed away peacefully in New York surrounded by family and friends."
His brother Craig Spurlock added, "It was a sad day, as we said goodbye to my brother Morgan. Morgan gave so much through his art, ideas and generosity."

Charlie Hunnam is reminiscing over his choice to step away from "50 Shades Of Grey" ... saying the decision to leave it behind also probably means he left a lot of cash on the table.
