Dramatic drone footage of a stunt-gone-wrong on the set of Eddie Murphy's new movie -- which left 8 crew members hospitalized -- shows an ugly crash ... and it's all on video.

In this new angle -- obtained by TMZ -- you can see an armored truck pulling up alongside a car that's part of a scene they were shooting last weekend down in Atlanta -- where Eddie's "The Pickup" is currently filming. Eddie and the other actors were not on set that day ... and not involved.

This was the team filming a stunt for the movie with a bunch of professionals and crew members -- and while eight people were hurt ... one remains hospitalized with a back injury, per NYT.

2:35 PM PT -- Ryan just addressed Ray's passing himself, writing ... "RIP Ray Chan. Words are pretty inadequate in comparison to this loss."

He adds, "There's an incomparable reservoir of skill, tender grit and talent no longer with us. As Production Designer, he was as important a creative force on Deadpool & Wolverine as the writers, director and stars. I don't pretend to know every chapter of Ray's heart, but I know it's unusual to encounter someone with that level of artistry, who simultaneously moved through the world with such an indelible humanity."

Ryan says he last saw Ray 2 weeks ago, and the two of them shared a lot of playful banter. Sounds like RR was able to share fond memories with the guy -- something Ryan cherishes.

Everyone knows Emma Stone by name, but now the famous actress wants to change it up with a more formal twist.

In an interview with "The Hollywood Reporter" this week, Stone said she's over being called Emma after all these years – and wants to be referred to by her real name, Emily.

Stone explained that she originally settled on Emma Stone because another SAG-AFTRA actress had already snagged Emily Stone.

French director Maïwenn is walking back her claim Johnny Depp "scared" her crew on the set of "Jeanne du Barry" ... saying she was misunderstood.

Maïwenn hit back at The Independent after its headline suggested the actor was a terror while shooting her French period drama. She clarified to Variety that she was referring to JD's star power when referring to the crew being scared of the Oscar nominee.

She defended her initial statement, saying, "[I] was shocked when I discovered that the newspaper had headlined that ‘The crew were afraid of [Johnny Depp]’ because written like that, and without its context and subtleties, it absolutely no longer means the same thing. The journalist did not want to grasp the subtlety of my words."

Dermot Mulroney says he had a one-year acting dry spell post-"My Best Friend's Wedding" -- and he's blaming the movie's marketing campaign ... and his teeny-tiny placement.

The actor told the New York Times that he didn't get any work for about a year after acting in the iconic '90s rom-com opposite Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz, and Rupert Everett -- and he attributes this to the fact he was downplayed in the actual movie poster that went around.

He says, "I was sitting there ready for the gift with purchase that was supposed to come along with being in a popular movie, and instead, I probably didn't work for a year."

Emma Stone is shutting down the notion she was pissed off at Jimmy Kimmel when he cracked a joke about her movie, "Poor Things," while hosting the Oscars this year.

Remember, Emma went viral during the Academy Awards as she seemingly called Jimmy a "prick" after he poked fun at "Poor Things" for all its sex scenes. The camera caught her mouthing something immediately after Jimmy's shot -- however, Emma's now telling The Hollywood Reporter she didn't have any beef.

She said ... "I didn’t call him a prick. I wasn’t upset with him at all. I’ll have to look that up."

Owen Wilson wants nothing to do with a movie leaning into the idea O.J. Simpson was innocent of the infamous '94 murders -- turning down a boatload for the lead part.

The partially finished flick's director, Joshua Newton, admits he thought Owen was perfect for the role of attorney Douglas McCann, but he says even dangling a whopping $12 million check couldn't sway Owen to sign on the dotted line.

Newton tells Rambling Reporter talks initially went pretty deep with Owen about playing McCann ... a real-life attorney who got sucked into various conspiracy theories during Simpson's 1995 criminal trial.

Glen Powell is finally saying the quiet part out loud when it comes to his rom-com with Sydney Sweeney -- namely, that their off-screen chemistry was 100% staged and fake.

Anne Hathaway claims she once had to make out with 10 different men during a chemistry test -- but that didn't happen on two of her biggest movie hits ... TMZ has learned.

Donna Morong -- the casting director for 'Princess Diaries' in 2001 -- tells TMZ … she's never participated in any auditions where two actors had to make out with their partners in order to test screen chemistry, something Anne says she had to do early in her career.

Some fans speculated "The Princess Diaries" may have been the film in question, as Anne told V Magazine the chemistry read was for a project back in the 2000s. Remember, the coming-of-age movie premiered in 2001 ... and featured Anne kissing not one, but 2 of her costars.

While Dermot laughed off Carol's hate for his and Sydney's rom-com -- in which he played the actress' father -- he did issue a reprimand to Carol ... making it clear he doesn't approve of the way she dissed his costar's looks.

David Mamet -- who's written some very famous screenplays in his day -- isn't a fan of Hollywood's efforts to diversify ... slamming the initiatives as "fascist totalitarianism."

Michael Jackson's infamous Neverland theme park is dusting off the cobwebs to film scenes for a new biopic about the late singer's life.

As you can see in the aerial shots ... the film company behind the biopic has restored signature features from when Jackson owned the 2,700-acre ranch near Santa Barbara -- the Ferris wheel, merry-go-round and circus tent all got colorful makeovers.

On Sunday, the actress posted a series of photos and a video to Instagram, showing her having fun in the sun with friends during an exotic getaway with a caption that read: "good times and tan lines."

In one of the photos, Sweeney was sporting a sweatshirt emblazoned with the words, "Sorry For Having Great T**s."

David Zucker's not excited about "The Naked Gun" remake ... saying he's not involved with the project, and he's worried the team behind it doesn't realize how difficult the spoof is.

We spoke with Zucker -- director of famous classic comedies like 'Naked Gun' and "Airplane!" -- about the Paramount+ remake starring Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson ... and, he says he doesn't know how it's going to turn out 'cause no one's reaching out to him.

Zucker says he and his partners, Pat Proft and Mike McManus submitted a script to Paramount back in 2018 ... and says they thought the studio liked the concept.
