PAUL GIAMATTI CELEBRATES GOLDEN GLOBES WIN AT IN-N-OUT

Paul Giamatti traded a fancy dinner for a good ol' burger and fries to celebrate his Golden Globes win ... beelining straight to an In-N-Out after the awards ceremony Sunday evening.

The suited and booted actor dined at the popular fast food restaurant in Westwood ... his shiny Best Actor trophy, which he won for 'The Holdovers', perched alongside trays of food.

Writer Evan Ross Katz shared the IG snap ... writing, "Paul Giamatti celebrating his Golden Globe win at In-N-Out. King. Absolutely no notes."

Paul's low-key sighting comes after finding himself the center of attention while collecting his awards earlier onstage.

He placed focus elsewhere during his acceptance speech, though ... paying thanks to teachers -- especially as he plays a stubborn teacher in the movie.

With the GGs setting the tone for the rest of the award season, it looks like Paul could be in and out of In-N-Out a whole lot more this year!

Vivica A. Fox Feel for Taraji and All ... But That's Not My Reality 🤷

NOT MY EXPERIENCE
TMZ.com

Vivica A. Fox has all the sympathy in the world for the issues Taraji P. Henson says she's experienced in the industry -- including unequal pay -- but says that isn't her experience at all.

We got the actress out Monday in NYC, where she was busy signing autographs in between fielding questions from our photog ... who asked about this growing convo about crappy working conditions that TPH and other 'Color Purple' cast members apparently experienced.

As you know, Taraji and a good handful of big stars from the film have been airing their grievances very publicly lately -- sometimes breaking down while discussing it.

Like we said, Vivica has empathy for their situation ... and says it's important for folks to speak their piece and get their truth out there -- noting she appreciates how the ladies stuck together and advocated for one another (and basic privileges) while filming the big budget film.

With that said, VAF also makes this very clear -- what Taraji's talking about is foreign to her.

Watch the clip ... Vivica says she just can't relate to what Taraji's gone through in the biz -- and ends by telling us, somewhat proudly ..."I'm good." Noted!

If it sounds like she's talking down on Taraji -- eye of the beholder, we suppose. The point is ... she's certainly distancing herself from whatever sort of energy TPH is enduring. Mind you, Vivica and Taraji are pretty friendly ... both have been successful in the biz for a long time.

That's why this matter-of-fact response from Viv here comes across as ... dare we say, cold. Like she says, though -- to each their own.

BTW, Vivica ain't the only one who weighed in on this ever-growing topic ... LaKeith Stanfield spoke on it too when we got him in the Big Apple, and he completely backed Taraji speaking truth to power.

BARRY KEOGHAN I LOVED STRIPPING FOR 'SALTBURN'!!

FEELIN' THE GROOVE
TMZ.com

Barry Keoghan's bared it all with his butt-ass naked scene in 'Saltburn' -- and he ain't mad about all the attention his work/bod is getting!!!

He spoke to TMZ after Sunday's Golden Globes, saying he loved all the nudity and no part of him is embarrassed over stripping down for cameras.

The disrobed dance was to the tune of Sophie Ellis-Bextor's 2001 song "Murder on the Dancefloor" -- which is making a killer comeback due to the movie -- but Barry says he wasn't able to listen to it properly ... as he was focused on dancing in the nude.

Barry wasn't wearing a prosthetic penis during the scene ... a fact that left fans shocked as he gushed over embracing his "ownership" and "full confidence" of being in the buff.

All that being said, his nudity is far from the film's most shocking moments -- there's a sex-with-a-grave scene, and one in a bathtub that ... well, ya just gotta see it.

BRADLEY COOPER Post-Globes Dinner with Gigi Hadid ... His Mom Third-Wheels!!!

Bradley Cooper doesn't have a shiny new Golden Globe award, but that didn't dampen his Sunday night as he got in some QT with his rumored GF, Gigi Hadid, and his mom Gloria.

The matching trio -- all head-to-toe in black -- headed to a private dinner at L.A's Giorgio Baldi around 9:20 PM after the award show. They left the restaurant separately ... Gigi headed out around 11:30 PM, and was sporting a sentimental 'Kai' necklace for the daughter she shares with her ex, Zayn Malik.

GH was giddy and smiling, perhaps a sign she and B's mother hit it off. Gloria and her dapper son made their exit shortly after Gigi.

Jonathan Majors I Was Shocked by Guilty Verdict ... Because I Didn't Do It

RESPONSIBLE FOR BEING THERE
ABC News

Jonathan Majors is maintaining his innocence even after being found guilty by a jury of his peers -- saying he was shocked by the verdict in his first televised interview.

The actor spoke to 'GMA' in an exclusive sit-down that aired Monday, and Linsey Davis was asking him some pretty hard questions ... including whether he did what he'd been accused of by the Manhattan D.A.'s Office -- namely, assaulting his ex-GF Grace Jabbari.

Majors insists he did not ... which is why he says he was stunned by the result, a conviction on two of four counts -- including harassment and assault, albeit the 2 lesser charges.

Davis asks him how Jabbari might've sustained her injuries if it wasn't him ... and he shrugs his shoulders, saying he has no idea -- but that he'd love to figure it out to find some peace.

JM was also grilled about this wild audio in which he's lecturing Jabbari about how she needed to be more like Michelle Obama and Coretta Scott King if she wanted to be with him.

Jon says he was simply pointing out great people he aspired to be like ... defending his rant.

There are other highlights, but these are the big ones -- and Majors ends by expressing regret over how he handled things with his ex. He says he should've been man enough to leave her before that night ... and also says he shouldn't have been in the car with her.

No mention of his future career prospects from what we heard ... suppose that's all TBD.

Golden Globes 2024 Stars Arrive Dressed to Impress New Year, New Network!!!

It's awards season again, and that means the Golden Globes are back to kick off the campaign -- only this time it's on a new network ... but still drawing all the big names.

The stars are just now arriving at the Beverly Hilton in L.A., and they're doing their usual thing -- walking up the carpet, stopping in front of cameras and showing their fancy duds ahead of the broadcast itself. And yes, it's a who's-who of talent in 2024.

Some of the splashiest names are taking their sweet time, but there's still a crap ton of celebs who've shown up so far -- including ... Helen Mirren, Heidi Klum, Wilmer Valderama, Jo Koy (who's playing host) Jeannie Mai, Selena Gomez, Tyler James Williams and others.

Of course, other stars expected to show face ... Robert Downey Jr., Margot Robbie, Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Natalie Portman, Jeffrey Wright, Matt Damon, Colman Domingo, Carey Mulligan, Fantasia Barrino, Joaquin Phoenix, Nicolas Cage, Timothee Chalamet, Emily Blunt, Rosamund Pike, Jodie Foster and more.

Oh, and Taylor Swift is expected to touch down as well at some point -- like we said, anyone who's anyone is gonna be there tonight ... and they're doing it on none other than CBS.

NBC dropped the Globes after last year's show -- this following a lot of controversy about diversity (or a lack thereof) in the years prior from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association ... which, BTW, was completely disbanded and disassociated with this year's award show.

Now, the Globes are being handled by Dick Clark Productions and another holdings company -- and they're hoping to start fresh with a new look, new vibe ... but the same old celebs.

The seating arrangement's been set, so we already have a sense of who'll be where.

Er'body's looking real good so far -- and it's just about show time ... here we go!!!

Judd Apatow on 'Barbie' Deserves Best OG Screenplay Nod ... Not 'Adapted' from Squat!!!

"Barbie" is expected to be a big player at this year's Oscars ceremony -- but one category where it might get stiffed relates to its script ... and Judd Apatow thinks it's BS.

Here's the deal ... as the 96th Academy Awards approach, the potential nominations are taking shape BTS -- and on the issue of screenplay, Margot Robbie and co. got kinda screwed because of what bucket they'll land in for consideration by voting members.

Last week, Variety reported that "Barbie" was going to be relegated to the Best Adapted Screenplay category as opposed to Best Original ... since the characters already "existed."

Film snobs thought that was a bad call, seeing how the plot of "Barbie" is, in fact, pretty original -- in the sense that it isn't a rework of another existing "Barbie" story out there ... and Judd is among those who are outraged on behalf of the scribes who came up with it.

He writes, "It’s insulting to the writers to say they were working off of existing material. There was no existing material or story. There was a clear box." Frankly, many agree.

The reason folks are bummed that "Barbie got thrown into Adapted as opposed to Original -- despite campaigning for the latter -- is 'cause there's tougher competition in Adapted ... including "Oppenheimer," "Killers of the Flower Moon," etc. Oscar shoe-ins, basically.

Considering how packed that category is, the movie buffs feel like "Barbie" will have a harder chance at actually winning ... and seeing how big of a cultural impact it had this year, a lot of people want to see it get some shine in as many ways as possible this year.

Fact is, "Barbie" checked all the boxes -- and lines like "I don't control the railways or the flow of commerce" most certainly warrant some recognition somewhere along the way.

We'll see what the Academy heads end up casting their ballots on come voting time.

Jodie Foster Ay, Real Talk Though ... Gen Z High-Key Sucks, Bruh!!!

Jodie Foster's crapping on Gen Z, but more specifically how they operate on the job -- which begs the obvious question of ... who the hell is she talking about exactly??? 👀

The 2-time Oscar-winning actress did an interview with The Guardian where she candidly shared her thoughts on these young'ns out here ... and she took aim at the early-20-somethings and teens that she appears to have crossed paths with on movie/TV sets.

JF started on this train of thought by first praising 20-year-old actress Bella Ramsey -- saying she asked her to intro her at an event, noting how she embodies a modern type of womanhood in her appearance/fashion choices, etc. Bella identifies as nonbinary, BTW.

In the same breath, though, Jodie went on to slam other Gen Z'ers at large -- including, apparently, old coworkers of hers, with JF griping ... "They’re really annoying, especially in the workplace. They’re like, ‘Nah, I’m not feeling it today, I’m gonna come in at 10.30am.’"

She continues, "Or, like, in emails, I’ll tell them this is all grammatically incorrect, did you not check your spelling? And they’re like, ‘Why would I do that, isn’t that kind of limiting?’"

GEN ZZZ
TMZ.com

The irony, of course, is that she started out in showbiz at a very young age too. In fact, she was just 12 years old while acting in Martin Scorsese's "Taxi Driver." Perhaps she's using that experience and how she handled herself in ripping on this new, hip generation!

Now, Jodie could just be speaking about Gen Z office/work culture generally or anecdotally -- but it does kinda sound like she might be referring to Gen Z'ers she's crossed with professionally herself ... and if that's the case, there's only a select handful that fit the bill.

We ain't gonna name any names here since she didn't, but to the youthful actors out there ... get your act together. Ms. Foster ain't having it with your tomfoolery and malarkey on set!

'Caddyshack' & 'Tron' Star Cindy Morgan Dead at 69 ... Roommate Called Cops

update

3:49 PM PST -- The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... Cindy's roommate called cops to their Lake Worth Beach home on Dec. 30, 2023 -- saying she returned home from a holiday trip, knocked on Cindy's door in their residence ... but got no response.

The roommate told officers she smelled a strong odor emanating from inside and called 911, noting the last she'd seen CM alive was on Dec. 19. Cops went in and found Cindy dead in her room ... with no foul play suspected. An investigation is underway.

3:22 PM PST -- A county rep confirms to TMZ that Cindy died of "natural causes."

Cindy Morgan -- famous for her role in "Caddyshack" -- has died ... TMZ has learned.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office confirmed the actress' passing in the area, but no further details about when she died or under what circumstances were immediately available. We've also confirmed her body is currently at a local funeral home there in Florida.

Morgan will likely best be remembered for playing Lacey Underall in the famous 1980 comedy opposite Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Rodney Dangerfield -- portraying the country club owner's hot niece who captures the attention of pretty much every male character.

She had quite a few scenes in there ... and was memorable as the key temptress in the flick. There's one notable scene she shared with Chevy, where she tried seducing him at a party.

While she was great in "Caddyshack," Cindy had actually starred in several other big films throughout her career ... specifically, in "Tron" -- where she played 2 big roles, Lora and Yori. In addition to this, she also starred in "Galaxis," "Silent Fury," "Up Yours" and other movies.

Her TV resume was even more impressive ... CM had roles on hit shows like "The Love Boat," "CHiPs," "Bring 'Em Back Alive," "The Fall Guy," "Falcon Crest," "Matlock," "Hunter," "The Highwayman," "Manusco, FBI," "The Larry Sanders Show," "Under Suspicion" and more.

Cindy's resume included 37 acting credits, and it looks like she'd been active as recently as 2022 with a voice role in an indie flick. We've tried reaching out to her team ... but haven't had any luck in tracking down someone who currently reps her.

She was 69.

Taraji P. Henson on 'TCP' I Almost Had to Drive Myself to Set ... Complains About Film

Taraji P. Henson is now taking shots at her own new film "The Color Purple," claiming she was relegated to second-class treatment while in production ... that is, until she fought back.

The actress gave a scathing critique over how she says she was dealt with as talent (at first) on the set of 'TCP' -- a WB film -- and how she had to demand better working conditions ... including getting a lift to and from the set itself.

In a new NYT interview, Taraji reveals she had to advocate not just for herself, but for her castmates as well ... saying, "They gave us rental cars, and I was like, 'I can’t drive myself to set in Atlanta.' This is insurance liability, it’s dangerous. Now they robbing people. What do I look like, taking myself to work by myself in a rental car?"

TPH adds, "So I was like, 'Can I get a driver or security to take me?' I’m not asking for the moon. They’re like, 'Well, if we do it for you, we got to do it for everybody.' Well, do it for everybody! It’s stuff like that, stuff I shouldn’t have to fight for. I was on the set of "Empire" fighting for trailers that wasn’t infested with bugs."

Taraji had more grievances to air about 'TCP' ... including the claim that the studio, apparently, wasn't interested in bringing the cast out internationally for a press run -- as well as complaints about the fact she had to audition and bust her ass for her role in the flick.

She explains ... "What else do I need to do to prove my worth? Now that I’m singing and dancing for you, and I climbed up on the table 88 times with my knobby knees and had to ice my knees in between takes, what else do I need to do?"

All this follows several weeks of Taraji and other stars of the film discussing their low pay in Hollywood ... and it's been eye-opening to watch -- especially with such big names attached to this film, including Oprah ... who's a producer and has been a key part of promotion.

Taraji says Oprah actually had to step in on her behalf a handful of times over these complaints of hers -- and eventually, everything got sorted out ... but it seems to have been an uphill battle for a while. Again, Taraji is a Golden Globe winner/Oscar-nominated actress.

If what she's been saying is true ... talk about topsy-turvy behavior toward an A-lister. 🥴

'Speed Racer' Actor Killed In Plane Crash with Two Young Daughters

Christian Oliver -- the star of such films like "Speed Racer" and "Valkyrie" -- died along with his two young kids after their plane crashed into the sea near a Caribbean island.

The Hollywood actor and his daughters, Madita, 12, and Annik, 10, were the only passengers flying aboard a small single-engine jet Thursday as they headed to St. Lucia after taking off from J.F. Mitchell Airport on the Grenadine island of Bequia.

During the afternoon flight, the aircraft experienced an unexplained issue, causing it to plunge into the ocean shortly after it took off.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard launched a rescue effort assisted by fishermen and divers in the immediate area, but their efforts were futile. In the end, they recovered four bodies from the wreckage, identifying them as Oliver and his daughters as well as the pilot, Robert Sachs.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

As for Oliver's career, he was a longtime actor who landed roles in several major films, rubbing elbows with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including George Clooney, Tobey Maguire and Cate Blanchett.

David Soul 'Starsky and Hutch' Star Dead at 80

David Soul, famous for playing Detective Kenneth Hutchinson on the buddy cop TV series "Starsky and Hutch," is dead ... TMZ has learned.

The actor died Thursday at a hospital in London following a long term illness ... according to a family member. We're told David was surrounded by his family when he passed.

David suffered from a number of health issues in his life ... most notably chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He blames COPD on a half-century of smoking three packs of cigarettes daily.

His wife Helen Snell said the "beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother died yesterday after a valiant battle for life in the loving company of family. He shared many extraordinary gifts in the world as actor, singer, storyteller, creative artist and dear friend."

She added, "His smile, laughter and passion for life will be remembered by the many whose lives he has touched."

David became a pop icon in the 1970s in his starring role as Hutch, the blonde-haired, blue-eyed detective opposite Paul Michael Glaser as Detective Dave Starsky. He appeared in all 92 episodes from 1975-79, covering four seasons on TV, and also directed a few episodes.

After "Starsky and Hutch," David landed roles in the 1979 TV miniseries "Salem's Lot" and the  1980 TV movie "Homeward Bound."

David and Paul also reprised their roles as Starsky and Hutch with a cameo appearance in the 2004 movie remake, "Starsky & Hutch," with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson.

Before his Hutch fame, David got started in Hollywood in the mid-1960s with small TV roles on shows like "Flipper," "I Dream of Jeannie," and "Star Trek" -- and, interestingly, Clint Eastwood was an early supporter of David's talent ... as he cast him as one of the cops co-starring with him in the 1973 Dirty Harry film, "Magnum Force."

He was also a very successful singer/songwriter ... scoring a number-one hit in 1976 with "Don't Give Up On Us."

David moved to the UK in the 90s and began starring in West End stage productions and British TV shows. He eventually became a British citizen in 2004.

He's survived by his wife and 6 children from previous relationships.

David was 80.

Christopher Nolan Peloton Instructor Ripped My Movie ... While I Was in the Class!!!

update

1/5 8:26AM PST -- Jenn just addressed the video, laughing it off and blaming the pandemic for her state of mind back then ... she says while she may not have liked "Tenet" she definitely loved Nolan's "Oppenheimer" -- watching it twice -- and invites Nolan to one of her in-studio classes.

010524_jenn_sherman_kal
SORRY, MR. NOLAN!!!

Christopher Nolan says a Peloton workout turned into a scathing, live movie review ... as the instructor -- who probably didn't know he was watching -- unloaded on his film during class!!!

The "Oppenheimer" director won a New York Film Critics Circle award Thursday for best director, and during his acceptance speech he recalled the time a Peloton instructor took a shot at his work.

010424_peleton-kal
WTF WAS THAT ???
Peloton

Christopher says he was in a virtual Peloton class when the woman leading the workout, Jenn Sherman, started talking trash about "Tenet" ... asking if anyone else saw or understood the 2020 movie. As Jenn put it, "I'm not kidding. What the f*** was going on in that movie?" She also groused she'd wasted hours of her life that she'd never get back.

BTW, he didn't call out Jenn by name, but internet sleuths quickly found the clip.

CN says he was also getting his butt kicked in the workout when she piled on, but it sounds like she had no idea Christopher was in the class.

The funny anecdote was part of Christopher's broader point -- that everyone's a critic these days.

Interestingly, Christopher didn't offer a critique of Jenn's skills as a Peloton instructor. Probably a smart move -- never tickle the tiger in charge of your cardio!

Golden Globes 2024 Seating Chart Drops Before The Big Day!!!

Work is underway for this weekend's Golden Globes ... and we've got a sneak peek at which stars will literally be rubbing shoulders for one of Hollywood's biggest nights!

The shindig will kick off this Sunday at the iconic Beverly Hilton Hotel ... and the final touches are being put on everything from the red carpet to the seating chart.

Take a look at the assignments -- with the "Barbie," "Killers of the Flower Moon," and "The Color Purple" cast and directors all seated together ... 3 flicks that are up for a lot of nominations this year.

For those unaware, Greta Gerwig's "Barbie" has 9 nominations this year, just in front of Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer" which took 8 spots. Of course, it'll be a tight race ... with so many other solid contenders catching people's eyes this year.

Remember, the Golden Globes were purchased by Eldridge Industries with Dick Clark Productions back in June -- the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which normally ran the event, was shut down after being accused of a lack of diversity.

Last year's Golden Globes was electric -- with Steven Spielberg, Austin Butler, Brendan Fraser, Brad Pitt, Colin Farrell and more lighting up the event ... so we're excited to see how this year tops it.

Glynis Johns 'MARY POPPINS' STAR DEAD AT 100

Actress Glynis Johns, famous for her role as Mrs. Banks in the 1964 classic "Mary Poppins," has died ... TMZ can confirm.

The British actress passed away of natural causes at an assisted living home in L.A., her manager Mitch Clem confirmed to us Thursday ... adding she'll be buried next to her father in the UK.

Mitch paid tribute to Glynis in an emotional statement: "Glynis powered her way through life with intelligence, wit, and a love for performance, affecting millions of lives. She entered my life early in my career and set a very high bar on how to navigate this industry with grace, class, and truth. Your own truth. Her light shined very brightly for 100 years.

He added, "She had a wit that could stop you in your tracks powered by a heart that loved deeply and purely. Today is a somber day for Hollywood. Not only do we mourn the passing of our dear Glynis, but we mourn the end of the golden age of Hollywood."

Glynis was born in South Africa, but her family settled in England, where she worked as an actress for 20 years before scoring a starring role in Disney's adaptation of P.L. Travers' "Mary Poppins" novels.

During the rest of her 8-decade career on screen and stage, she earned a Tony for her role as Desiree Armfeldt in the original Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim's "A Little Night Music" ... where she sang "Send in the Clowns." Sondheim wrote the song especially for Glynis to perform.

Her role in the 1960 film "The Sundowners" earned her an Oscar nom ... and was just one of more than 60 films she starred in, along with "While You Were Sleeping."

Glynis' TV credits include "Murder, She Wrote," "Cheers" and "The Love Boat." Her final onscreen appearance came in 1999's "Superstar" ... where she played Grandma.

Glynis celebrated her 100th birthday in October ... quipping that she didn't feel any different after turning the milestone age -- adding that she looked good for every age.

Jeremy Allen White Lookin' Hot In Calvin Klein Undies ... Brand's Latest Model

Jeremy Allen White is the new Marky Mark -- no, he's not rapping about "Good Vibrations," but he sure as hell looks hot in the same undies Wahlberg used to rock on larger than life billboards.

The actor launched his partnership with Calvin Klein Thursday with a set of steamy photos of him in the signature white briefs -- showing off his shredded physique.

BTW, looks like he did the shoot -- or at least, part of it -- on a rooftop in NYC, which happens to be his hometown.

JAW's got a lot going for him right now, so this ambassador gig is the icing on the cake -- as you know, he's garnering Oscar buzz for his role as Kerry Von Erich in "The Iron Claw," and he's up for a Best Actor Golden Globe this weekend for his work in "The Bear."

Things also seem to be going well for him in the dating department ... 'cause he was spotted taking a stroll in NYC with his boo, Rosalía, last week.

Jeremy continues to climb the A-list ladder  ... and now, he's doing it in his Calvins.
