Kim Kardashian, Scott Disick Sued Over Alleged Scam 'Lottery' Company Behind Giveaway Says It's All Legit

Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick are being sued for allegedly hawking a lottery but not coughing up any prizes, but the company behind the lottery is calling BS.

According to the class action lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Kim and Scott created a lottery where the winner would get $100,000 and 2, first class tickets to L.A. But wait, there's more ... the winner would also get a 3-night stay in Bev Hills and they could "shop like Kim Kardashian."

The lawsuit claims the 2020 lottery was a sham ... the real purpose of the so-called lottery was for the celebrities to work with an Australian company -- Curated -- which is also being sued, to sell personal information to advertisers.

The suit claims winners were announced but the "winners" Instagram accounts were quickly made private and the plaintiffs are doubtful that everything's on the up and up.

Sources directly connected to Curated tell TMZ, every winner is legitimate, have been awarded their prizes and the company has appropriate paperwork to prove that.

The suit claims the people who entered the contest are getting "invaded by hundreds of advertisers, some of which are soliciting the Plaintiffs with potentially offensive and unwanted content."

The suit claims the lottery was organized by Scott on his IG and various influencers promoted it, including Kim, Kendall Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Sofia Richie, Gretchen Christine Rossi and Christine Quinn.

The suit drags the fam ... "Just a short 20 years ago, Oprah was giving away cars and cash. But today's entertainment tycoons seem to only care about becoming richer and living an even more opulent lifestyle, while duping their fans and followers."

The suit is asking for more than $20 million from each defendant, though the only 2 specifically named are Kim and Scott, along with the Australian company.

We reached out to a rep for Scott ... so far, no word back

R. Kelly Guilty of Child Pornography in Illinois Federal Trial ... Not Guilty on 7 Other Counts

UPDATE

3:36 PM PT -- U.S. Attorney John Lausch says sentencing for Kelly will range from 10-90 years.

R. Kelly is guilty of 6 of the 13 charges he faced in his Illinois federal case ... the jury just came back with its verdict.

The jury convicted him Wednesday on the child pornography counts he faced, but acquitted him on 7 others -- including charges of conspiracy and enticement.

Remember, Kelly was facing child pornography charges and prosecutors also accused him of concealing video evidence from his infamous 2008 case and threatening witnesses.

The trial just got underway last month, with prosecutors accusing Kelly of videotaping sexual encounters with minors.

As we reported, Kelly's trial included explosive testimony ... with his former goddaughter claiming the singer had sex with her hundreds of times before she turned 18 years old, with their first sexual intercourse happening when she was only 15.

Kelly's attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, told the jury the singer was "imperfect" but insisted he was innocent.

A juror suffered a panic attack Monday, but the trial pressed forward as the judge immediately put the alternate juror in her place.

The singer will be sentenced in this case at a later date. Remember, Kelly's already been previously convicted of federal sex crimes in New York and sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Scooter Braun Settles Divorce Keeps $65M Home, Private Jet, Art ... Will Pay $20M

Scooter Braun -- the man behind the careers of Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and more -- has made out nicely in his divorce, retaining untold millions in real estate, artwork, investments and even a private jet ... but he's also gotta shell out $20 million to his ex.

We've obtained the divorce settlement between Scooter and his ex-wife, Yael, which breaks down the insane amount of money and investments Scooter has.

The docs -- filed by Disso Queen Laura Wasser -- say the two had a prenup, and here's the way it breaks down -- Scooter will keep the $65 million Brentwood home he bought after he filed for divorce (among other properties), a Gulfstream G450 (about $40 million), over 100 pieces of art (including Warhol and Keith Haring works), retains a slew of investments and bank accounts, and a Porsche and Tesla.

In turn, Scooter will fork over a $20 million equalization payment to Yael and pay $60,000 a month in child support for the couple's 3 kids. Yael also gets several works of art, assets from multiple bank accounts and a Land Rover Defender. She will also remain in the former couple's $30 million family home in Brentwood.

The two were married in July 2014, and Scooter filed for divorce in July 2021. They'll have joint legal and physical custody of their 3 children. We're told the divorce is amicable and they're committed to co-parenting.

Jesse Williams Runs Back to Court Over Custody ... And Another Broadway Run

Jesse Williams is doing back-to-back seasons on Broadway, and because of some apparent fighting with his ex-wife over the custody arrangement for their kids ... he's now asking a judge to step in.

The actor filed new legal docs that seek to change the custody order that was agreed to earlier this year when he was starting his Spring run for the baseball play "Take Me Out," when he and Aryn Drake-Lee settled on him having his kids 4 consecutive days a month in NYC.

In the paperwork, obtained by TMZ, Jesse is asking to tweak that a bit ... seeing how he's going back to Broadway in the fall for yet another outing in the production. He wanted the same deal -- 4 consecutive days/month -- starting in October ... but says Aryn refused to play ball, so he's going to court over it and wants a few other tweaks.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

For the month of October, Jesse is requesting he get his kids in the Big Apple for 4 days between Oct. 7 through Oct. 12 -- as well as 4 days through the Thanksgiving break ... and wants a similar arrangement to continue through January.

Now, you'd think that'd be A-OK since both he and Aryn signed off on a very similar arrangement back in March ... but, unfortunately, Jesse's saying they're fighting again over the dates for this go-around -- with him alleging that Aryn's refusing his requests.

Namely, he claims she'll only agree to his dates ... just so long as the kids aren't forced to head to New York, which is a no-go for Jesse, since that's where he's living at the moment.

Essentially, he's saying Aryn's being unreasonable and trying to enforce conditions that'll deprive him of seeing his children for nearly 2 months -- and now wants a judge to weigh in.

Thomas Markle Can't Go Near Tabloid Honcho ... After Alleged Death Threat

UPDATE

12:11 PM PT -- 9/14 -- Thomas tells us he wasn't aware there was a hearing, and that's why he missed it.

The tabloid owner who claims Thomas Markle is out to kill him just got two years of court-ordered protection from Meghan Markle's father.

According to new legal docs, obtained TMZ, a judge granted Jeff Rayner a restraining order against Thomas, who did not show up for Tuesday's court hearing.

The protective order will be in place for the next two years ... and even though TM didn't show up for the hearing, the court says Thomas was served with legal papers.

TMZ broke the story ... Jeff, the co-owner of tabloid and news agency Coleman-Rayner, claimed he was scared of what Thomas might do to him after Meghan's pops allegedly threatened Jeff in a book.

Remember ... Rayner claimed Markle vowed to kill him in an excerpt from Tom Boyer's book, "Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between The Windsors" ... wondering if Thomas might use a gun to get revenge in a longstanding beef, and claiming the alleged threat was causing stress and anxiety.

Jeff and Thomas have been squaring off for years ... with Markle suing Coleman-Rayner back in 2021, claiming an agreement the two sides made regarding some staged photos destroyed his relationship with Meghan and Prince Harry.

Britney Spears' Ex Jason Alexander Wanted by Cops After Missing Court Date

Britney Spears' ex-husband, Jason Alexander, just can't seem to stay out of trouble with the law -- because now he's wanted by the cops again ... this after missing a court date.

Alexander was due to appear before a judge Tuesday in Napa County, where he's facing 2 felony counts of grand theft and buying/receiving stolen property. The charges involve a woman who claims he stole some expensive jewelry from her back in 2015.

You'll recall ... Jason hadn't dealt with the case for years, and then he got arrested a few months ago here in SoCal for crashing Britney's wedding to Sam Asghari.

When he got arrested by Ventura County officials, the warrant for the Napa case also popped up. The dude was extradited to face the charges after he completed a 60-day sentence in jail. After his Napa arraignment, he was cut loose and told to come back on Sep. 13.

A court clerk tells TMZ Jason never made it ... and now, a new warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Unclear on why Jason missed the hearing ... but we're told cops are looking for him now.

'Married To Medicine' Lia Dias Busted For Restraining Order Violation ... After Alleged Death Threat

"Married to Medicine: Los Angeles" star Lia Dias has a restraining order against her for allegedly threatening to kill her husband, and she got arrested after allegedly getting too close to him.

LAPD tells us Lia was arrested back in August for violating the terms of the stay away order ... and she ended up getting booked on 2 misdemeanor counts and spent a couple nights behind bars.

Our law enforcement sources tell us Lia was busted for allegedly violating the restraining order by coming within 100 yards of him and 100 yards of his Beverly Hills home.

Lia tells us she only went to the home to retrieve her mail, claiming the home had been vacant for several months. When she arrived, Lia says she saw U-Haul trucks on the property, loading up some her personal belongings.

She says her estranged husband called the cops, allegedly telling them she had a gun. She says she eventually got her belongings -- including her dead mom's jewelry -- back.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ ... Lia's estranged husband, Colin Dias, has been getting court-ordered protection from his wife since he claimed she threatened to kill him in November before attacking him a few days later while he was shopping at a PetSmart with their two kids.

At the time, Colin alleged Lia called him up one morning and made a death threat, which he says came on the heels of her telling him she had access to firearms. He says she later attacked him at the El Segundo PetSmart in the presence of their children and got arrested for domestic violence.

Lia's supposed to keep the hell away from Colin, his home and their kids.

Colin's lawyer, Robert Eisfelder, tells us his client considers the entire situation to be a "private family matter" ... and says, "Colin will let the police, district attorney and family court handle the situation. He has no further comment."

R. KELLY TRIAL Juror Suffers Panic Attack ... Excused and Replaced

One of the jurors seated in the R. Kelly trial in Chicago just suffered a panic attack during a break in proceedings ... and the judge quickly moved to get them outta there.

The unusual scene played out Monday, when the juror, a white female, started having a panic attack after the prosecution gave their closing argument. The judge says he was told the juror "couldn't last another minute" and he excused her ... according to reporter Jon Seidel.

The judge says a white male alternate juror is now stepping in ... and like the juror he's replacing, this guy has also not seen the "Surviving R. Kelly" documentary.

The defense teams are now giving their closing arguments, after the prosecution ripped Kelly to begin the day, labeling him a sexual predator who used his celebrity to abuse minors.

Kelly, who was already sentenced to 30 years in federal prison following a June conviction in New York, is expected to learn his fate soon ... depending on how long it takes the jury to reach a verdict.

Britney Spears Dad Fires Back ... Make Her Sit for a Deposition!!!

Jamie Spears says the judge got it wrong ... Britney should have to sit for a deposition and answer to all of the allegations she's made about him and her time in the conservatorship.

According to legal docs, filed in the California Court of Appeals and obtained by TMZ, Jamie says it's unfair the court ruled he had to sit for a deposition while Britney can get away without having to sit for one. The docs state, "The right to take a deposition can rarely be denied. In California, discovery is a matter of right."

Jamie's legal team also argues Britney and her attorney, Mathew Rosengart, did not establish good cause to justify prohibiting her deposition ... especially given the fact she made countless claims against Jamie for wrongdoing.

Jamie says if the court had an issue with Britney's deposition, it could have limited the topics or questions covered ... but instead, it just shut her deposition down altogether.

Jamie's legal team says the one-sidedness in the trial judge's ruling violates basic fairness ... that if one party has to sit for a depo, the other party should as well.

The trial judge ruled whatever Jamie wanted from Britney could be obtained through writing. His legal team clearly feels that could apply to him as well, and now they're gunning for equal treatment -- he sits for a depo, then she should as well.

'Arrow' Star Stephen Amell Suing Neighbor Over Kennel Biz ... Kennel Sets Up GoFundMe

UPDATE

12:01 PM PT -- 9/14 -- A statement from the group reads, "Rescues Rock is pleased that on September 13, 2022, the Court denied Stephen and Cassandra Amells’ baseless request for an emergency injunction shutting down Rescues Rock’s important mission promoting animal welfare, education, and rescues, said founder Kristen Stavola."

UPDATE

They continue, "We look forward to proving, in Court, that the Amells’ claims lack merit, and that their bullying tactics have no place in our closely knit community."

UPDATE

Finally, they say, "We have started a GoFundMe campaign so we can pay the attorneys and experts who have been supporting our effort to keep our focus on the animals and rebuff these meritless allegations. Any support anyone can give us is so very much appreciated.”

Stephen Amell has a new target in his sights -- the guy's taking his neighbors to court over what he claims is an unpermitted animal adoption biz ... one that he says is super loud and stinky!

The "Arrow" star and his wife, Cassandra, just filed suit against Kristen Stavola and Jeremy Gardiner -- who run a company called Rescues Rock Inc. ... which they advertise as a pet adoption/foster enterprise that they run out of their home in Los Angeles.

The problem ... the Amells live next door, and they allege that not only is this operation a complete and utter nuisance ... but it's illegal too, at least according to their suit.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Per the docs, obtained by TMZ, SA spells out all the issues he and his family have had with RRI since Stavola/Gardiner moved in back in 2015. He claims they have upwards of 60 animals there, including at least 18 dogs and countless cats.

More importantly, the Amells allege that their neighbors are running the entire operation in a neighborhood zoned for residential only. The Amells claim they're at the end of their rope and felt compelled to file a lawsuit to stop it.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Stephen and co. say these animals are yapping at all hours of the day and night -- disrupting his and his wife's sleep and that of his children ... including a newborn. And, of course, he also grouses the place reeks ... and some of the pooches carry diseases to boot.

He says he's tried doing this the neighborly way, but claims these folks aren't playing ball. Now, he wants a judge to step in and force them to pump the breaks and shut down the animal shelter.

Ray J Threatens to Sue Kim K ... For Suggesting Assault on Hulu Show

"WHY DIDN'T YOU SUE ME?!"
Instagram / @rayj

Ray J seems serious about suing Kim Kardashian for her comment on her Hulu show that Ray J may have stuck something up her butt while she was sleeping.

Ray remains furious about the first episode of the show ... when Kim fretted there might be a second sex tape. She told her fam she was 99.9% sure there wasn't one, but then suggested if there was anything sexual in another tape ... Ray may have stuck a dildo up her butt while she was sound asleep.

Kim follows it up on the show by saying "It's completely illegal" and then asks her lawyer to "scare the s*** out of this guy."

Ray says it's all an outrageous lie to suggest he sexually assaulted Kim, and he says he's seriously considering a defamation lawsuit.

As we reported, Ray also says there IS a second sex tape -- the Cabo sex tape and another that was shot in Santa Barbara -- and he says Kris even watched the tapes and chose the one to distribute in which Kim looked the best. Kris has denied she had a hand in the release of the tape.

Kris took a lie detector test on 'The Late Late Show' a few days ago and, according to the polygrapher, was honest when she said she didn't orchestrate the deal.

Speaking of the sex tape, Kim has denied she had anything to do with the release, but Ray says she's absolutely lying, and showed the contract he signed with Vivid Entertainment where the sex tapes are chronicled in writing and he says Kim's the one who wrote it ... and her fingerprints -- literally her fingerprints -- are on the paper.

The question he poses is interesting ... if Kim/Kris were so sure he'd leaked the sex tape -- as he says they've strongly indicated for years now -- or that he violated Kim ... why hadn't they sued him yet? The answer, to him, is that they know they're full of it.

Emily Ratajkowski Files for Divorce After Cheating Allegations

Emily Ratajkowski is officially pulling the plug on her marriage ... filing for divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard.

According to online records, the model filed divorce docs Thursday in New York City.

Of course, the filing comes on the heels of allegations Sebastian cheated on the 31-year-old model. There've been plenty of signs over the last few weeks that things were coming to an end between the couple.

Emily was spotted moving out of their NYC home just last month, she also recently announced on social media that she was single and dating again.

Emily and Sebastian married back in 2018 in a surprise ceremony. They have a 1-year-old son, Sylvester, together.

The online record indicates the divorce is still "contested" meaning the two have a lot to still iron out. They were last seen together in May at Ari Emanuel's wedding.

Meghan King Gets TRO Against Ex Jim Edmonds ... Over Alleged Verbal Abuse

Meghan King claims her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, has been verbally abusing her over their child custody arrangement ... so she got a temporary restraining order against him.

According to court docs filed in Missouri and obtained by TMZ, the ex-'RHOC' star got the court order back in June over what she describes as "frequent and consistent verbal abuse" via texts, as well as their shared Family Wizard app which they use to co-parent.

It's unclear what exactly what Jim allegedly said to her -- but sources connected to the case tell us it all has to do with their shared custody arrangement ... the pickup/drop-off schedule specifically, which Meghan claims Jim hasn't followed.

It seems Jim's been trying to have this case sealed -- at least according to MK. She wants it public, for all to see.

It's just the latest instance of fighting between the exes -- they've gone after each other publicly over issues related to their children. He's accused her of putting their kids at risk during the COVID lockdown after he learned she was partying in Miami.

A hearing is scheduled for later this month on whether to make the restraining order permanent.

Jim's rep, Steve Honig tells TMZ … “This request for an order of protection is completely baseless and furthermore makes an absolute mockery of the pain suffered by the millions of women in this country who are legitimate victims of abuse."

'RHOBH' Star Diana Jenkins Gave Erika Jayne Heads-Up Before Making Donation to Airline Victims' Families

Diana Jenkins' donation for Lion Air victims' families isn't a call to war against Erika Jayne, but it IS intended to provoke a response ... from some other 'Real Housewives.'

Sources connected to the 'RHOBH' star tell TMZ ... Diana and Erika discussed the $100k gift before it even happened. We're told even though it may have appeared to be a dig at Erika, given the fact EJ's been embroiled in litigation directly related to that tragedy, that's just not the case.

On the contrary, we're told Diana and Erika are good pals ... so clearly, no shots intended -- but here's what she did have up her sleeve.

Our sources say Diana sees this as an opportunity for some of the other cast members, like Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais, to put their money where their mouths are ... because they've attacked Erika over her connection to the Lion Air case.

Since they like to talk about it so much -- suggesting in the past Erika lacks compassion for the families -- we're told Diana sees this as kind of putting the ball in their court ... giving them a chance to step up and make a donation to show how much they care about those folks.

michael jackson hulu promo
WHO KILLED MJ?

As you know ... Erika and her estranged husband, attorney Tom Girardi, were sued for allegedly swindling these families out of a settlement they scored against Lion Air -- although Erika's denied having any knowledge of how Tom ran his business, including on this.

For the record, Diana absolutely did this for the right reasons -- as we're told she genuinely feels for the families, and wanted to help them. So, the only salvo fired here is an inspirational one ... with a slight jab at Erika's haters.

Ricky Martin Files $20 Million Lawsuit Against Nephew ... Who Accused Him of Sexual Abuse

Ricky Martin says he's been "persecuted, besieged, harassed, stalked and extorted by a maladjusted person" -- AKA his nephew -- and he's now suing the guy who made wild accusations against him.

Martin filed a lawsuit Wednesday in San Juan against Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, who the singer claims is trying to "assassinate" his reputation.

Dennis had claimed back in July that he had a 7-month long romantic relationship with Ricky, and when it ended Ricky began stalking and harassing him -- something Ricky said was patently false. The nephew had filed a restraining order but when the heat was on him he withdrew the whole thing.

A MESSAGE TO THE NEPHEW

According to the new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, the nephew hasn't stopped. Ricky claims a month after Dennis withdrew his restraining order, he began sending messages to Ricky through Instagram ... threatening to "assassinate his reputation and integrity" unless he anted up cash.

Ricky says in the lawsuit before Dennis filed for a restraining order, he was publicly boasting about being Ricky's nephew. Ricky says the nephew bombarded him with messages -- sometimes more than 10 in a single day -- for 4 months.

Ricky says the messages were clearly written by a "maladjusted individual."

Ricky says the nephew then went rogue, posting the singer's cell phone number on his Instagram. Ricky says the nephew also made an IG account for one of his children, which made him uncomfortable.

Aries Spears Breaks Silence on Molestation Lawsuit with Tiffany Haddish 'We Won't Be Shaken Down'

Aries Spears is speaking out for the first time publicly after he and Tiffany Haddish were sued for grooming and molesting two children during an old skit they performed ... calling the whole thing a shakedown.

In a preview for his podcast "Spears & Steinberg" Aries admits there's not a whole lot he can't say, given the pending lawsuit ... but does take the time to thank his listeners and fans for all of their support over the last week.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

He then gets more serious, calling the lawsuit an "extortion case" and a shakedown, saying, "We won't be shaken down."

Spears's comments come just a couple days after Tiffany Haddish posted about the situation on Instagram, saying, "But, clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn't funny at all – and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can."

Both comedians were sued by a male and female plaintiff who claimed they were groomed and convinced to take part in explicit skits. The girl claims she was 14 at the time and the boy just 7.

The skit, "Through a Pedophiles Eyes" with the young boy, included Spears applying massage oil to him as well as the boy making sexually suggestive motions with toys.

Tiffany's attorney, Andrew Brettler, has echoed Spears' sentiment, telling us, "Plaintiff's mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years."
