Jason Alexander Cops Plea in Britney Wedding Crasher Case
Jason Alexander seemed ready to fight the day of Britney Spears' wedding, but he threw in the towel Thursday in his felony trespass case, pleading no contest to some of the charges.
Jason, who was married to Brit for a grand total of 55 hours in 2004, was charged with 4 crimes, including felony stalking after he gained entry to Britney's home -- the site of the wedding last June -- and got within feet of the bride, who was inside her bedroom. Jason was armed with a knife. He fought 2 security guards before being subdued and arrested.
He plead no contest to two charges -- aggravated trespass and battery, both misdemeanors.
Two charges were dismissed -- felony stalking and misdemeanor vandalism.
Alexander was sentenced to 128 days in the Ventura County Jail. He's already served 64 days since being arrested and he will not serve the entire balance, which is protocol.
There's a protective order that requires Jason to stay clear of Britney until August 11, 2023.
A hearing will take place in November which will determine if Alexander can possess weapons, including firearms.

Britney Spears Lawyer Rips K-Fed In Feud Over Kids ... Stop Bullying Britney!!!
Britney Spears' lawyer is going scorched earth on Kevin Federline ... ripping him for yapping about her relationship with their boys and posting videos of family matters.
Attorney Mathew Rosengart says ... K-Fed's decision to post old footage of Britney arguing with boys Sean Preston and Jayden James was cruel, bottom-the-barrel behavior.
Britney's lawyer says in doing so, K-Fed violated the singer's privacy and dignity, undermined the children, demeaned himself as a father, and violated societal norms ... and now Rosengart is threatening legal action, suggesting a criminal cyber-bullying statute may have been violated.
Remember ... Britney and K-Fed are going back and forth in public over her relationship with the kids, with Kevin posting the videos and giving an interview to DailyMail, while Britney fights back with social media posts.
Rosengart says he's not about to let Britney be bullied like she was during her conservatorship ... and tells us he's working with Instagram to turn up the heat on K-Fed.
Britney's attorney says Kevin should keep their family matters private. In fairness, Britney also went public about her children Wednesday in her own IG post, calling the kids "hateful," and suggesting K-Fed's house is a marijuana den.
Bottom line for Britney's camp ... Rosengart says she's beloved and respected by millions, which can't be said about K-Fed.

Iraqi Actress Enas Taleb How Dare You Use My Photo in Story About 'Fat' Women
An Iraqi actress is irate over a story about "fat" women -- a story that used a photo of her to illustrate a point -- so she's suing.
Enas Taleb is a big deal in Iraq ... and she's publicly fuming over the story in the Economist titled, "Why Women Are Fatter Than Men in the Arab World."
The Economist went on to say men often gravitate toward women with "curves" and used a photo of her to make the point. According to the article, "Iraqis often cite Enas Taleb, an actress with ample curves, as the ideal of beauty."
The 42-year-old TV personality says she's going to sue the newspaper ... this according to New Lines mag.
She believes the pic was photoshopped and also says the newspaper had no authorization to run it. That said, it seems her lawsuit will go deeper ... she said, "I am demanding compensation for the emotional, mental and social damage this incident has caused me."
Her grievance goes beyond herself ... calling the story an “insult to the Arab woman in general and Iraqi women in particular.” She asks why the Economist “takes interest in fat women in the Arab world and not in Europe or the USA."
Taleb says she's comfortable in her own skin. The Economist has not responded yet to Taleb's intention to sue.

Anne Heche's horrific crash into a California home now has the potential to land the actress into even deeper legal trouble ... she's now under investigation for felony DUI.
LAPD sources tell TMZ ... they've now upped the investigation to a felony because the woman inside the home Anne barreled through with her Mini Cooper claims she was injured -- suffering cuts requiring medical treatment.
Cops believe Anne was driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol ... because she was driving erratically and recklessly, hitting a garage and a parked car before slamming into the home.
Cops also took note of a photo of Anne in the car just before the crash, with what appeared to be a bottle of alcohol in a cup holder.
Anne's rep says the actress is still fighting for her life ... she lost consciousness shortly after the crash, and has been in a coma ever since.
TMZ broke the story, Anne almost struck a woman before hitting another vehicle and crashing into a garage in the moments leading up to the fiery explosion.
Heche was pulled from her car as it burned and loaded onto a stretcher by paramedics. The vehicle was left a smoldering pile of metal.

OF Model Courtney Tailor Charged with Murdering Boyfriend ... Arrested in Hawaii
6:28 AM PT -- 8/11 -- We've obtained a teary-eyed Courtney's mug shot, law enforcement sources say she was detained in Hawaii and will be transported back to the main land.
6:10 PM PT -- Courtney's lawyer, Frank Prieto, tells TMZ ... her arrest is shocking because they believe there is clear evidence of self-defense.
Her lawyer claims Obumseli attacked and choked Courtney, leaving her "no choice but to meet force with force."
CT's attorney says she's been cooperating with the police investigation and offered to turn herself in if criminal charges were filed ... another reason they are disappointed in her sudden arrest.
We're told Courtney was seeking treatment in Hawaii for PTSD and other issues related to the case ... and her lawyer claims she is a victim of domestic violence and human trafficking.
OnlyFans model Courtney Tailor has been charged with murder in connection to the killing of her boyfriend earlier this year.
Tailor was reportedly arrested in Hawaii on Wednesday on a second-degree murder charge. She's said to have been in rehab there but, according to her attorney, who spoke to the Miami Herald, she's expected to be extradited to Florida soon.
Her lawyer adds ... "I'm completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender her if she were charged. We look forward to clearing her name in court."
The arrest comes months after authorities were investigating the stabbing death of Christian Obumseli -- who was found deceased in the couple's Miami apartment. Tailor had previously told cops she did, in fact, stab him with a knife ... but insisted it was in self-defense.
Surveillance video from inside shows Tailor, after the fact, covered in blood from head to toe.
It initially seemed as though her explanation had worked, but now prosecutors apparently think there is enough evidence to prosecute her. Obumseli's family has insisted all along that they believe she killed him in cold blood.
Things weren't looking good for her, publicly, in the immediate aftermath of the incident. People dug up old interviews of her saying questionable things -- and she got confronted in a hotel lobby by an outraged bystander.

Kobe Bryant Photo Trial Vanessa Sobs During Opening Statements ... Deputy Bragged About 'Piles of Meat' at Death Scene
4:49 PM PT -- An emotional Lakers GM Rob Pelinka took the stand -- barely able to speak when talking about how special his relationship with Kobe really was. Pelinka says he still considers Kobe to be his best friend, and that having Kobe as a friend was like knowing a super hero.
Pelinka revealed he was in church when he got a call about the helicopter crash, and rushed to meet Vanessa at John Wayne Airport. Pelinka says deputies took him and Vanessa close to the crash site, and were promised the area would be kept private.
Pelinka says Vanessa has fought to protect the beauty of her family, and if the photos from the scene were to get out, there's fear for what it could do to her daughters. He also revealed that in June 2020, Vanessa went to the site of the crash to touch the soil where Kobe and GiGi were before they went to heaven.
Vanessa Bryant dissolved into tears as her lawyer addressed the jury in opening statements, saying the 8 L.A. County Sheriff's deputies who took photos of the bodies of her husband and child took the pictures "for a laugh like they were souvenirs."
Vanessa's lawyer said the deputies "poured salt in an unhealable wound" by using their cellphones to take the photos for personal use. The lawyer described "pictures of broken bodies, close-ups of limbs and burnt flesh."
The lawyer played the deposition of a Sheriff's detective who said his wife didn't want to see the photos, and that's when he told her they showed "piles of meat."
The attorney says Vanessa lives "in fear, anxiety and terror" that someday she and her family will see the photos.
The lawyer said Vanessa's children were her everything, Kobe was her everything, and she will be forever haunted by what the deputies did.
The crux of the case involves L.A. County Sheriff's deputies who took photos of the bodies of Kobe and daughter Gianna at the crash scene and then shared them with colleagues. In one case, a deputy allegedly showed the photos to a woman at a bar, and the bartender is the one who blew the whistle on him.
Vanessa claims in the lawsuit ... the conduct of the deputies caused her severe emotional distress, adding it was an invasion of privacy. Lawyers for L.A. County responded by claiming Vanessa's emotional distress is rooted in the crash, not the photos.
California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill into law 2 years ago -- called the Kobe Bryant Act -- making it a crime for first responders to share photos of a dead person at a crime scene for purposes unrelated to the case. The crime is punishable by a $1,000 fine.

Olivia Wilde Wins Legal Battle vs. Jason Sudeikis You Embarrassed Me On Purpose!!!
-
Exclusive Details
Olivia Wilde just won a victory in her custody war against Jason Sudeikis ... after claiming he intentionally humiliated her by sicc'ing a process server on her in the middle of a public appearance.
As we previously reported, Oliva was on stage at CinemaCon in Vegas back in April, when a dude interrupted her speech and handed her a manila envelope. She thought it was a script and opened it up in front of the audience, but when she realized what it was ... she clammed up.
Turns out they were legal docs courtesy of Jason, asking a judge to hear their custody case in New York. Olivia then filed her own legal docs in L.A., calling B.S. on Jason because the kids live in California and not New York.
In docs obtained by the Daily Mail, Olivia's team called Jason's move to serve her an "outrageous legal tactic." She said, "His actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard. He could have served me discreetly, but instead he chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible."
She went on ... "The fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and put our personal conflict on public display in this manner is extremely contrary to our children's best interests."
As we reported, a source close to Jason maintained he had no idea she'd be served in such a public space.
However, Olivia got the last laugh ... according to court docs obtained by TMZ, there was a zoom hearing last month with Olivia, Jason, their lawyers and the judges in New York and L.A. The two judges agreed ... New York was NOT the children's home -- California was, so the custody case will be held in L.A. County.
Of course, only the jurisdiction of the case has been determined, no trial has taken place ... and it's always possible the former couple will get things figured out before that even happens.
Olivia wants to move to London at year's end, largely because her boyfriend, Harry Styles, lives there. It looks like there's gonna be a dogfight over where the kids end up living, although it's possible they'll go back and forth between Olivia and Jason.

Donald Trump I'm Being Persecuted, So ... I'm Taking the 5th in NY Attorney General Probe
Donald Trump exercised his right against self-incrimination Wednesday ... taking the 5th in a civil deposition ordered by the New York Attorney General, claiming she's corrupt.
Trump showed up at A.G. Letitia James' office Wednesday morning, fist raised and defiant. He issued a long statement, saying, "We cannot permit a renegade and out-of-control prosecutor to use this investigation as a means of advancing her political career."
James is investigating Trump's business empire for alleged illegal practices.
Trump went on to claim James has campaigned on the promise ... "Get and Destroy Trump."
As for taking the Fifth, Trump said, "I once asked, 'If you're innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?' Now I know the answer to that question. When your family, your company, and all the people in your orbit have become the targets of an unfounded, politically motivated Witch Hunt supported by lawyers, prosecutors, and the Fake News Media, you have no choice."
Trump added, "I did nothing wrong, which is why, after five years of looking, the Federal, State and local governments, together with the Fake News Media, have found nothing."
Trump has also blasted the feds for the Mar-a-Lago raid, claiming they ransacked Melania's wardrobe in their search for documents.

As independent producers, we feel it's important to have fun, approachable, and educational conversations about the cultural impact of Ms. Winfrey."
They continue, "This comes from a place of both deep admiration and critical thinking. Kellie and Leah are remarkable hosts. Roulette Productions produces 'Oprahdemics' and has been engaged with the team at Harpo for some time--while genuinely surprised by this, we hope to resolve it."
You can talk about Oprah, but don't go ripping off her signature logo -- that seems to be the message being sent by the media mogul herself in a new lawsuit.
The legendary talk show host's company, Harpo, has filed suit against a couple of up-and-coming podcasters who launched a series this year called "Oprahdemics" -- where they discuss all things Winfrey and go through their favorite TV moments in fine detail.
The two hosts are Kellie Carter Jackson and Leah Wright Rigueur, and Harpo is suing them and their production company, Roulette Productions, for trademark infringement.
According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Harpo claims the women are specifically utilizing a giant "O" that Harpo says is just an attempt to create confusion as to whether Oprah is behind the podcast.

Kevin Federline Vs. Britney Spears K-Fed Attorney Fires Back Kids Support Jamie!
1:06 PM PT -- Sam is still going off about K-Fed's interview and Britney's relationship with her kids, saying, in part, "Eventually if not already they will realize their mothers choices are harmless and an expression of newly found freedom. There is nothing to be emberassed about just lots of things to be proud of."
The war of words between Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline is raging on ... and now his attorney says their teenage boys are backing Jamie Spears.
K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, responded to Britney and new husband Sam Asghari's weekend attack on Kevin, telling a photog outside Craig's in WeHo Sam doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.
Britney's ex claims their two kids, 16-year-old Sean Preston and 15-year-old Jayden James, are avoiding their mom on purpose ... and Kaplan says the family member they really miss is their grandfather Jamie.
Brit's boys supporting Jamie creates an interesting family dynamic here ... there's clearly a wall between them and their mom ... and Kaplan makes it sound like the boys will see Jamie before they see Britney, despite a restraining order against grandpa.
Remember ... Kevin ignited the back-and-forth when he did a recent interview with DailyMail, a portion of which was posted Saturday, where he claimed Britney's kids haven't seen their mom in months, skipped her wedding to Sam and are put off by her partially nude social media posts.
Britney and Sam fired a return salvo, ripping K-Fed for talking about her relationship with her kids in public and claiming he's out of work and living off child support payments.
Kevin's attorney took issue with Britney and Sam's coordinated attack ... he claims K-Fed and his wife Victoria work 24/7 to keep Sean and Jayden out of the limelight and says there's no negative words against Britney or Sam in Kevin's household.
Kaplan says Britney should appreciate how much time Kevin logs being a parent and refutes the notion K-Fed is out of work, though he doesn't say what his job is outside of being a full-time dad.
While Kaplan says Sam just doesn't know Kevin well enough to attack him, he says K-Fed understands Sam is Britney’s new hubby, which means Sam is not going to take a position against her.
Bottom line for K-Fed's attorney ... the boys love Britney, but they want to lead their own lives.

Gabby Petito Family Files Notice Of Complaint ... Seeks $50M In Damages From Moab, Utah PD
Police had the opportunity to save Gabby Petito's life after responding to her domestic dispute with Brian Laundrie before she was killed ... this according to her family, which is now looking to sue the police department for a ton of cash over it.
According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Petito's family blames the Moab City PD for Gabby's death ... claiming Brian killed Gabby shortly after the department "failed to adequately respond to reports and evidence of domestic violence between Brian and Gabby."
The docs go on to recount the events leading up to her death ... including when police interviewed them on the side of the road last year -- with one officer saying she was crying uncontrollably and had cuts on her face and arm.
As you know, Brian told officers Gabby had been under emotional distress, allegedly pushing her away as she tried to slap him.
But, the family says there were inconsistencies in Brian's story -- including claiming he wanted to walk away from Gabby despite a witness alleging he tried to drive off without her.
Gabby's family claims the police didn't do enough probing of the situation to save Gabby -- adding that an independent investigator later concluded the officers "made several mistakes and could not rule out that Gabby's murder might have been prevented if the officers had handled the situation properly."
Laundrie family attorney, Steven Bertolino, tells TMZ, "The Moab police, in my view, did not contribute to the death of Gabby Petito in any way. My understanding of the Moab incident is that Gabby was the aggressor and admitted on camera to hitting Brian first. The Moab police report indicated that they could have arrested Gabby but chose not to and instead separated Brian and Gabby."
He continues, "The intervening days and events from the Moab incident to the date of Gabby's death appear to be far enough removed from the reasonable actions of the officers on the scene. I see no legal liability but maybe the City of Moab will settle the matter. So best of luck to the Petito family in their quest to recover for their loss from another source."
Her family is seeking $50M in damages.

Lori Loughlin wants to get on with her life after serving time for her role in the college admissions scandal, and that involves flying to Canada to shoot a movie.
Lori is currently on 2-years probation after serving 2 months ... as a result, she's required to get approval from the judge before leaving the country.
According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Lori's been offered a role in the flick but it's contingent on her getting approval to travel. She says the project would last a week and it would be shot in the middle of September or the beginning of October.
The judge signed off, allowing her to travel, but that's just half of the approval process. Canada is super strict on allowing people in with criminal records, and Lori pled guilty to a felony.
We've already seen other celebs be turned away ... including Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and The Game, so Lori's fate is not certain.
She does not state the nature of the project, but Lori's been a fixture on the Hallmark Channel.

LAPD sources tell TMZ, authorities got a warrant to draw Anne's blood. We do not know the results, but police believe she was intoxicated at the time of Friday's crash. We're told the results of the blood tests could take weeks.
We're told at the very least, the LAPD will refer the case to the L.A. City Attorney for possible hit-and-run charges. As we reported, after slamming into a garage she took off and eventually drove her car into a nearby house. She may have also struck other objects before coming to a stop.
In a photo we obtained of Anne just before the wreck, it appeared she had a bottle of alcohol in her cup holder.

TMZ obtained video of Anne tearing down a residential street before slamming into the house.

Eddie Deezen, known for playing Eugene Felsnic in "Grease," has been found not competent to stand trial for allegedly burglarizing a nursing home.
The commitment order, obtained by TMZ, shows Deezen's unable to stand trial because of a mental disorder, and he's been transferred to the Maryland Department of Health for treatment.
The document says he's considered a danger to himself and others around him. Deezen will have no choice but to stay in the health department's care until the court believes he no longer poses a threat.
As we reported, police say Deezen pushed his way into a privately-owned nursing facility in April, refusing to leave after a woman told him to scram -- but cops showed up and hauled him off in cuffs.
The alleged victim told cops Eddie's been by her place several times before, claiming he usually leaves behind items with accompanying notes.
The security camera of a neighbor a few doors down showed Deezen approaching their property as well that night, allegedly trying to open the front door.
He was originally charged with fourth-degree burglary, 2 counts of trespassing, and one count of disturbing the peace -- however, the latest docs show prosecutors changed the charges to assault and disorderly conduct.

ALEX JONES Must Pay $45.2 Mil in Punitive Damages To Sandy Hook Parents
The hits keep coming for lyin' Alex Jones ... a jury just ordered him to shell out $45.2 million to the parents who lost kids in the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary.
The money is for punitive damages ... and it's on top of the $4.1 million a jury in Austin, TX already ordered the "InfoWars" founder to pay to plaintiffs Scarlett Lewis and Neil Heslin.
The same 12-person jury came back with the $45.2 million figure Friday, and it includes $20.5 million each to Lewis and Heslin for mental anguish caused by Jones claiming the shooting was a hoax.
The remaining $4.2 million in punitive damages is for defaming Heslin in 2 reports where Jones questioned the father's account of holding his dead son.
The trial's been full of drama ... like when an attorney for the parents revealed Jones' own lawyers accidentally sent them all of his text messages, catching AJ in an apparent lie.
Jones was not in the courtroom Friday when the punitives were announced. He's still facing 2 other trials from Sandy Hook parents ... so he could be on the hook for a lot more money when it's all said and done.
