T.I.'s putting his mistaken identity arrest in his rearview, and though cops ultimately put him through the wringer unnecessarily ... he's treating it like water under the bridge.

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Tip Thursday in Bev. Hills, where he downplayed the debacle ... he's too blessed to be stressed, and says the officers who detained him were simply following protocol.

We broke the story ... cops inside Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport were alerted to an outstanding warrant out of Baltimore for a Clifford Harris -- which is the same name as the legendary rapper, but clearly not the same guy.

7:30 AM PT -- Paris authorities are making it clear ... Travis Scott was arrested for "violence against a security guard" who worked for the Georges V hotel. The hotel staffer had intervened when Travis fought with his personal bodyguard.

7:05 AM PT -- TMZ has learned Travis was arrested after getting into a vicious fight with his bodyguard -- who he felt had been slacking on the job -- and then hotel security stepped in to separate them.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us Travis had been extremely upset with the security guard after "multiple days of being chased and harassed by paparazzi" around Paris.

Lauryn Hill blamed clickbait headlines for the Fugees' reunion tour getting canceled all across North America ... but that's not exactly how her bandmate Pras sees things.

Pras tells TMZ Hip Hop, “I saved her reputation for 20 years by not telling my side of the story but oops … cat’s out the bag,”

Travis Scott has found himself in legal trouble once again ... the rapper was arrested in Paris after fighting his bodyguard in a hotel, TMZ has confirmed.

Paris prosecutors tell us ... police were called to the George V luxury hotel early Friday morning to break up a fight between Travis and a security guard. We don't know what sparked the confrontation, but the rapper was arrested for "violence against a security guard," according to authorities.

The prosecutor's office also says the security guard tried to break up a fight between Scott and his bodyguard. An investigation is now open.

Diddy's ex-girlfriend Yung Miami is speaking up about their relationship for the first time ... and she says he never got physical with her, unlike Cassie.

As Cardi put it ... she heard a "pop" after the incident, which left her unable to move and screaming out for help. Cardi tried to sleep off her pain, but as the situation became worse she went to the hospital ... where she learned she tore a ligament in her pelvis and was dilated.

Per Cardi, she began having contractions "every two minutes for a whole 24 hours" ... before she was finally released and sent home on bed rest. She also has to do physical therapy.

Cardi B is speaking out after recently suffering a "freak accident" ... sharing with her fans all the terrifying details, including how it nearly cost her baby No. 3.
