Ja Rule is getting a head start on Mother's Day with a heartfelt gesture for some special women and their kids.

The "Always On Time" rapper and Sei Less Restaurant's co-founder Ivi Shano joined forces Tuesday in NYC to host an uplifting luncheon dedicated to moms who had their lives altered by the criminal justice system -- 40 mothers and their children, to be exact!!!

TMZ Hip Hop got a video of Ja greeting and socializing with the moms ... the luncheon was a partnership between The Ladies of Hope Ministries and REFORM Alliance.

3:52 PM PT -- 50's attorneys, Reena Jain and Blank Rome, tell TMZ … "Despite being given ample opportunity to retract a false and malicious retaliatory accusation, Ms. Narvaez has shamefully chosen to interfere with her 11-year-old son’s relationship with his loving father by falsely calling him a 'rapist.'"

They add, "The motivation behind this appears to be Ms. Narvaez’s unfortunate entanglement and misguided loyalty to Mr. Combs, who we believe to be underwriting this attack and whom Mr. Jackson has been warning Ms. Narvaez and others about for many years."

50 Cent's through trolling his ex, now he's brought lawyers into it, and he's suing Daphne Joy for publicly accusing him of rape and physical abuse.

In docs filed Monday, and obtained by TMZ, 50 blasts Daphne for her Instagram post from March 28, where she made the allegation behind his lawsuit -- and he says she only did it because it came out that he was going to seek sole custody of their son, Sire.

50 says he only made that decision about Sire after Daphne was labeled a "sex worker" in the Rodney Jones lawsuit against Diddy -- and he claims she retaliated with the open letter to him, posted on IG.

Rick Ross' estate caught a few strays in his short-lived rap battle with Drake but the Bawse is currently making $20 million tweaks to his property as we speak!

Drake sent the latest shot in his Kendrick Lamar beef, but fans -- actually trolls -- might have the last say by flocking to GoFundMe to mock him, and potentially profit off his rap demise ... which the company's shutting down.

The singer was the host and musical act Saturday night, and shouted out her new album "Radical Optimism" during her monologue. Dua explained the album title refers to "looking on the bright side of any situation."

She proceeded to offer some examples with help from cast members in the audience, which is when Heidi Gardner stood up in a MAGA hat and said, "Hi, I'm South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem" ... opening the door for Dua to cut her off quickly.

Jim Jones got into a wild fight at the airport, taking on two men at once in unbelievable footage ... and, he's claiming he was just trying to defend himself.

New video, obtained by TMZ captures the fight ... which kicks off as Jim and two others are reaching the bottom of an escalator at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. It's unclear what set off the encounter, but it escalates quickly.

While JJ throws punches at the two individuals, they seem to land on an older man's leg, and he's clearly in a lot of pain when he hits the floor at the bottom of the escalator.
