Mercy's coach Matt Sargeant channeled Birdman after Notre Dame's big win over #1 Harvard-Westlake, glowingly speaking about his senior guard ... “Put some respect on that name!"

“That’s an All-American player. [Mercy's] will to win is an unparallel.”

Miller dropped 29 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the 59-54 win ... in front of a packed crowd that included Gonzaga HC Mark Few.

“I think this is definitely a statement game for our team just to show how good we are as a team and what we’re all about,” Mercy said after the game.

“We go in the gym and work hard every day so it’s definitely good to go out there and improve against one of the top teams in the country.”

Notre Dame improved to 21-0, and is 4-0 in league play.

Miller has been nearly unguardable this season. Mercy dropped 68 points during a game last month.

Just last weekend, MM scored 38, and grabbed 10 boards at ND's Senior Night at Crypto.com Arena.

Tekashi 6ix9ine has found himself in a familiar place – behind bars – after getting arrested on a warrant in the Dominican Republic, TMZ has confirmed.

The New York-born rapper was taken into custody Wednesday by Santo Domingo authorities for a domestic violence incident, apparently involving his girlfriend -- reggae singer Yailin la Mas Viral.

According to CNN ... Tekashi was accused of "physical and psychological violence against" Yailin, prompting the police to haul him into the Palace of Justice in the DR's capital city.

We're told the case is being investigated by the Department Of General Violence, which handles domestic violence cases.

Dominican authorities issued a press release Thursday confirming Tekashi's arrest without providing details about what happened. Tekashi is currently being held by the local police as he awaits his first court appearance this morning.

As you know ... Tekashi has been a magnet for trouble over the years and has been arrested numerous times for numerous offenses.

Kim Kardashian's daughter North West has a new diamond grill -- perhaps inspired by Dad's new dental work -- and she's showing it off on TikTok.

The 10-year-old's blingin' selfie was uploaded Wednesday to her joint account, which she shares with her mom ... and Kim captioned the sparkling reveal with, "The things my daughter makes on my phone, haha."

North pulls her lips apart to give an up-close look at her dazzling new dental jewelry ... just weeks after she showed off another grill from a vid around Christmas time.

We're told he definitely did NOT remove all his teeth to replace them with the $850K titanium dentures ... as some reports have claimed.

Snoop Dogg's daughter Cori Broadus has some alarming news -- early Thursday morning she revealed she's in the hospital after suffering a severe stroke.

Learning you've had a stroke would be concerning for anyone, but especially in Cori's case ... as she's only 24 years old.

She announced her medical ordeal with a post on Instagram, admitting she broke down in tears when doctors told her what had happened.

In multiple posts, Cori included images inside a hospital, so it appears she's still receiving treatment after getting the shocking news.

She wrote in one IG story, "I'm only 24 what did I do in my past to deserve all of this" ... so, she's clearly going through it mentally as well as physically.

BTW, the "all of this" is a reference to Cori's revelation last year that she'd been diagnosed with lupus at the age of 6.

Kanye West already tried apologizing for his rabid antisemitism -- but it seems he feels he didn't stick the landing, 'cause he recently did another one ... which was MUCH longer.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... the controversial rapper got some camera guys together to shoot a lengthy apology video several weeks ago -- and we're told it ended up running about 40 minutes ... with Ye talking straight to the camera.

We're told in no uncertain terms, Ye was "rambling" and at times it was impossible to decode what he was saying.

One more thing about this apology ... our sources say whatever was shot is supposed to be released sometime ahead of his new album, "Vultures," which is scheduled to drop Feb. 9 -- this after several delays dating back to late last year.

A couple interesting things about this ... for one, Ye already issued an apology over all his antisemitic language -- dropping a statement that was written in Hebrew right after Xmas.

You'll recall, it was a very generic mea culpa, which read in part, "I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused."

The problem ... many felt it wasn't sincere, and more importantly a lot of people thought it might've actually been generated by AI. In fact, we did some digging and that may well be the case. Bigger picture ... most just weren't buying what he was selling.

Now, we have word about this ... and it sounds like if he proceeds, we'll be hearing/seeing this new apology in due time. However, based on what we're hearing about it so far -- it seems like this one might've been a little clunky as well.

The other mystery here is how exactly the album is going to come out. As far as we know, he doesn't have any major distribution deal in place ... so who's gonna listen to this???

Doja Cat's allegedly being physically and verbally abused by her big brother ... at least that's what their mother is telling a judge.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Doja's mom, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, filed for a temporary restraining order against her 30-year-old son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini ... and in her filing, she makes some serious accusations.

Doja's mom lists Doja as another person who needs protection from Raman ... reason being, mama claims Doja's had her teeth knocked out by Raman.

That's not all ... Doja's mom also alleges Raman's given Doja cuts and bruises, and destroyed and stolen some of Doja's property.

In the docs, Doja's mother claims Raman is also verbally abusive toward his famous sister "in a very degrading and demeaning manor [sic]” ... and she says Raman has made Doja feel "unsafe and traumatized."

As for her own safety, Doja's mom alleges Raman physically abused her and threatened her multiple times over the past year, claiming the most recent incident happened earlier this month.

The judge granted Doja's mom court-ordered protection from Raman pending a hearing for a permanent restraining order, but did not grant that same protection for Doja Cat -- instead, saying the artist would need to file her own request for a restraining order.

It's worth noting ... Doja's mom says she had a restraining order against her son in the past, but it's since expired.

The G-Man recently sat down with journalist Shirley Ju for a slap-happy interview ... and TMZ Hip Hop got the full sit down, which highlights the R&B star's various playlists.

When asked if he got down to any of his own tracks, Ginuwine reacted more sharply than any other question thrown his way. But, he says he has a logical explanation for shying away from his own sound.

He's got an old soul, and says you're bound to hear him bumpin' and grindin' to Marvin over his own classics. He reserves those slow jams for his live shows.

Ginuwine also cast his votes for today's crown bearers, Nas and Missy Elliott sit on the hip hop thrones in his eyes, while Usher is hands-down the reigning King of R&B.

Arguably a clear-cut winner for Ginuwine's area of expertise ... Usher's set to rock the Super Bowl next month and he's considering anything less than perfect a failure.

Detroit Lions' first playoff win in forever has totally uplifted the city spiritually and financially -- and Icewear Vezzo, one of the town's top rappers, wants to see the underserved regions also reap some rewards!!!

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Vezzo in NYC on a chilly Wednesday but he still had time to talk about the heat his team has been bringing.

The last game alone was projected to generate $20 million into Detroit's economy and Vezzo tells us he would love for the hoods to get turnt for the better.

Vezzo places responsibility on the city's rap population as well -- he's eager about his upcoming "Live From The 6" album and sneaker drive, where he and his fellow artists will be clearing out their foot lockers for the free.

The man apparently owns over 400 pairs of Nike AF1's alone ... sounds like a win-win for everyone.

The Miami Heat just bronzed Dwyane Wade's legacy with a statue that'll go up outside the team's arena, but Mase can't focus on that milestone -- instead, he's zeroing in on something else, and in the process, proving he's a dinosaur.

Jim Jones is feeling froggy for the new year, and daring any rapper from his era to jump -- on his $100,000 challenge to create a better song than him.

The Harlem Diplomat made the six-figure offer Wednesday on IG, extending the invite to anyone of his rap era, which he says started around 2004.

JJ excluded his workout partners Jadakiss, Maino, Dave East and Fabolous ... but says he'll wipe the floor with his other contemporaries, which obviously includes dozens of big-time MCs.

His reason for the challenge is simple -- Jim says he's seeing too many old rappers comfortable riding on their past glory, and thinks it's time they update their catalog.

New video has surfaced from the Chrisean Rock incident ... and it's even more dramatic than we initially thought.

Drama Alert posted a lot of different angles of the action -- and you can see the pistol-whipping the CR was referring to in the aftermath ... it looks absolutely brutal. You can also see more of the fight and how exactly it broke ... although it's still unclear what sparked it.

Chrisean Rock's stint on a popular speed-dating show ended abruptly after an armed assailant crashed the set -- and the shocking attack was caught all on camera.

On Tuesday night, Chrisean was in Atlanta when she was scheduled to appear on a new show called "20 Vs. 1" ... a series where the contestant picks from 20 different candidates. The scary moment unfolded as they were filming ... with the footage cutting to an armed man assaulting another man on the set with a firearm, this after a brief scuffle on set.

The freakiest part comes next ... onlookers nearby appear to have convinced the masked man not the pull the trigger after he overpowered his target and had them pinned on the ground. Watch ... you can see that he appears to be carrying two firearms, and he has them drawn and pointed at the guy on the ground.

CR immediately went live on Instagram to tell her followers she survived some "crazy, weird sh*t" ... no argument there. She also took credit for the lack of bullets -- allegedly preventing 4 people from being shot.

Her live stream pissed off her brother Petey but she claimed it was for both of their safety -- got to document the evidence at all costs.

NoLuvMar, the series creator also vowed the truth will be revealed ... he still plans on putting the wild video out on his channel, and he says a lot of assumptions about what happened will be proven wrong.

Turns out Charlamagne's searching for the same thing ... and if he has any answers, he ain't ready to give 'em up!

The radio show played musical chairs with loads of rotating guests last year ... Claudia Jordan, Jason Lee, Loren LoRosa, and several more -- but comedienne Jess Hilarious emerged as the frontrunner, and, on Christmas Eve, even claimed she won the job.

Weeks later, Jess hasn't been on the show ... and CTG tells us that he has no idea where she is. Interestingly, he also did not validate her announcement.

Michael Lohan is ripping the new 'Mean Girls' movie for taking a cheap shot at his daughter, Lindsay Lohan ... saying Tina Fey and Megan Thee Stallion went low, just like their box office numbers.

Lindsay's dad tells TMZ ... he's straight-up "pissed" over the "disgusting comment" in the reboot ... but he's finding some solace in the flick's opening numbers, which were far lower than the OG's debut weekend way back when.

Michael's talking about Megan's "fire crotch is back" line in the new movie ... which references a famous TMZ clip from way back in 2006, when Paris Hilton's oil heir buddy Brandon Davis called LiLo a "fire crotch" multiple times on camera.

Lindsay's dad is also pointing at the fact the new 'Mean Girls' musical made $28 million at the box office opening weekend as a bit of karma.

The original version made $24.4 million on its opening weekend in 2004 -- and while that's lower ... it's actually not bad when adjusted for inflation. By today's standards, it'd be closer to $40 million ... not to mention the $86 mil it grossed domestically through its theatrical run.

Basically, ML is betting the new 'Mean Girls' won't hold a candle to his daughter's initial take on it when it's all said and done. Michael also tells us he would never see the new 'Mean Girls' ... and while he says he'd love to clap back at Megan, Brandon and Tina, specifically ... he tells us he's taking the high road and not getting in the gutter with them.

Lindsay's father adds ... "I will say this however, NOBODY can replace Lindsay or the original cast in that film. Nor can Megan replace Lindsay in the new Planet Fitness commercial dressed like a stripper in a fitness commercial."

Of course, what he's referring to there is the fact that Lindsay did some PF commercials a few years ago ... and now, MTS is doing them as well -- the implication being, she's kinda riding Lindsay's coattails, and not doing it nearly as well as she did.

Bottom line for Michael ... back off from his kid, 'cause he's ready to pounce in her defense.
