The elusive name of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's baby boy is a mystery no more ... we've finally learned what the kiddo's called.

According to the birth certificate, obtained by TMZ, the couple's new bundle of joy is named Riot Rose Mayers. The name follows the tradition of "R" names in the family ... remember, they named their first son RZA.

Sources first told us Riot Rose arrived August 3, but that was off, the actual date of birth was August 1.

You'll recall, A$AP teased the name a bit at the end of last month while out in West Hollywood saying the name reveal was, "Coming soon."

Don't forget, surprises like this are big for Rihanna -- she broke the news of her new baby to the world during her Super Bowl halftime performance earlier this year ... showing off her bump to millions of folks watching the big game.

Ja Rule's reiterating his feeling that 50 Cent is an "idiot" for hurling a mic that could earn him a felony charge, but he's also telling TMZ Hip Hop ... the moment's in his rearview mirror.

The "Holla Holla" rapper's already looking toward the future of his upcoming comedy special, which happens next month!!!

We caught up with Ja Thursday night outside TV personality Josh McBride's birthday party at Somewhere Nowhere NYC, and he blew off his recent digs at his archnemesis.

ICYMI, 50 clowned Ja for, in his eyes, reenacting "The Passion of Christ" at a recent show ... but then Ja barked back -- going more viral -- by bringing up the criminal battery probe associated with 50 injuring Power 106 radio host, Bryhana Monegain with the mic he threw.

Ja spared the crowd the holy antics inside Josh's party, delivering only hits, but revealed to us he plans on giving fans a different form of entertainment come Oct. 25 - 27 when he takes over Harlem's Apollo Theater for his "Laughing It Up" comedy series.

Now that she's cleared of any potential charges, Cardi B is popping her ish over that Vegas mic-throwing incident, and she's standing by her actions!!!

Cardi popped up on "The Breakfast Club" Friday, and recalled the violent July incident with much detail ... but admitted she was initially quiet because she thought the incident would land her in jail!!! 😬

TMZ Hip Hop broke the story, Cardi was cleared in August after the criminal investigation determined there was no reason to charge her.

Cardi recalled the scorching Vegas temperatures playing a factor in her asking the crowd to splash her with water, while also warning them not to hit her face.

After performing several songs Cardi says she was met with a face full of ice and thinks the fan did it on purpose, so she retaliated by throwing the mic like a javelin.

Lil Baby's rap concert was thrown into chaos Thursday night in Tennessee ... this after one person was shot and critically injured.

The hip hop star was performing at FedExForum in Memphis late in the evening, when a gunman suddenly opened fire inside the venue.

Baby was whisked off stage after the bullets started flying on the first floor, according to WREG News.

Memphis PD officers and Emergency Service workers responded, finding a man with gunshot wounds.

A video posted to social media shows paramedics lifting the man onto a gurney and wheeling him away. Other footage caught all the confusion as fans spilled out of the arena.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

The suspect fled and is still at large. A motive was not disclosed.

We've reached out to Baby's rep for comment ... so far no word back.

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are once again a dynamic duo, but this time they've brought their "Bongos" ... and they want you to check 'em out.

On Thursday evening, Cardi released her comeback album single, one fans have been waiting on since her debut project back in 2018 ... and it doesn't disappoint in the skintastic department.

Both rap stars swapped through multiple outfit changes ... mostly bikinis, matching the steamy artwork for the single, which they've been teasing for several days.

Both Cardi and Meg lyrically flex on the track, which employs a Latin-tinged sound, the perfect music bed for Cardi to add a little flavor in Spanish.

"Bongos" is also Megan's first musical release since Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting her the same year "WAP" blew up.

Some fans lucky enough to get a signed CD of "Bongos" from Cardi will be privy to a collectible for the books ... since it appears a few will have her essence all over them!!!

Before this New York City native in her little fishy bathing suit turned into a famous singer, she was just running around the Big Apple and breaking into the music industry with her cover of Drake's "Headlines" track.

Her initial claim to fame came from her days on Tumblr, but at just 19 years old ... Atlantic Records signed her. You may have heard her song "Collide" featuring Tyga, and when she's not in the studio, you can find her on social media ... posting hot shots from the gym!

Desiigner wants to put his recent past as a mid-flight masturbator behind him ... agreeing to a plea deal that he hopes will allow him to avoid jail time!!!

According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Desiigner is set to enter the guilty plea Sept. 8 agreeing to the recommended sentence of 2 years probation, 120 hours of community service, a $5K fine and a public apology to the flight attendants.

We broke the story ... the "Panda" rapper was busted after returning home on a flight from Japan where prosecutors say he told flight attendants he was "brick hard."

He allegedly dropped a jar of lubricating Vaseline in the aisle and eventually had to be monitored for the duration of the flight.

Following the incident, Desiigner immediately apologized, and claims he's attended 19 court-appointed counseling/therapy sessions since the incident ... he also says he voluntarily submitted himself for drug testing, which he says came back clean.

Desiigner's attorney is asking the judge not to impose any travel restrictions that would slow his movement as a professional musician, insisting he has tours planned for all over the world in 2023-24.

Desiigner's management team also stated he's been pouring his "heart and soul" into his upcoming music as part of his personal growth.

Ja Rule's decided 50 Cent's controversial hurling of a microphone at the head of a radio host is too sweet a moment to pass up -- so, he's rubbing the incident in his longtime rival's face!!!

Ja compiled several clips on Instagram, which included 50's performance from Super Bowl LVI and Power 106's Bryhana Monegain's facial injuries from the thrown mic.

"We ain't forget… Enjoy those criminal charges and lawsuit d***head!!!" Ja quipped on IG while adding hashtags to his alcohol brands just like 50 does on all his own posts.

50 initially fired the first shot ... clowning Ja's recent Jesus-esque performance but the Murda Inc. rapper took it to a whole 'nother level throwing digs and 50's pending legal drama.

As we reported, 50 is a suspect in the felony battery case LAPD opened after the rapper's mic meltdown.

While, 50's lawyer says the potential charge is ridiculous ... Ja seems to find it quite funny!!!

One person who's clearly not amused is Bryhana, who told us she blacked out after the impact.

B.G., the former Cash Money Records rapper who made up 1/4 of the legendary Hot Boys, is fresh outta prison, and his groupmate Turk says it's an extremely joyous occasion after an 11-year wait.

Turk tells TMZ Hip Hop he and B.G. were thick as thieves during their come-up as one of the most influential acts in hip hop history, but, understandably, lost contact amid B.G.'s lengthy sentence ... and they have plenty of catching up to do!!!

With tracks like "Bling Bling" and "I Need a Hot Girl," the Hot Boys impacted rap music and popular culture in the late 90s with their lyrics and trendsetting slang.

Now that B.G.'s on the outside, Turk says a reunion with the remaining HB members should be coming, along with Juvenile and Lil Wayne. Although he admits there haven't been any official plans as of yet.

TMZ Hip Hop broke the story, B.G. will be on community confinement until July 2024, but has already seen some familiar faces, including his ex-CEO Birdman!!!

It was a great sign for all longtime fans ... all the Hot Boys have had their various disputes with the label over the years, but Birdman's presence gives heavy credibility to Turk's reunion goals.

Cash Money Records legend B.G. has several special conditions to fulfill now that he's released from prison after 11 years -- and his duties will benefit his community, as well as B.G. himself.

Court docs obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, outline the terms of B.G.'s 2 years of supervised release which make it mandatory he participate in an approved drug/alcohol treatment program ... in addition to a program designed to better orient one's life skills.

The 42-year-old rapper is also required to perform 400 hours of unpaid community service and is barred from possessing firearms and other dangerous weapons. He also must cooperate in the collection of DNA as directed by his probation officer.

And, then there's his education ... the court's ordered B.G. to actively pursue a GED or vocational training equivalent in order to better set him up for future employment.

The chances B.G. will be spotted working a 9-to-5 are pretty slim. After being released into the world Tuesday, he promised fans he'd return to musical form soon enough and has been enjoying his freedom alongside Cash Money boss Birdman ... who might help him make good on that promise.

Hot Boys' rapper Turk is also waiting in the wings, telling TMZ Hip Hop ... fans can anticipate a reunion just like in the "Bling Bling" days!!!

Stagecoach festival is saddling up for its 2024 edition with some of country music's biggest acts -- Morgan Wallen, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church ... but is also highlighting acts outside the genre, including Wiz Khalifa and all his hip hop hits!!!

Wiz be closing down Sunday night's "Late Night in Palomino" event on April 28, 2024, to put a cap on the 3-day weekend festival.

Sources connected to Wiz tell TMZ Hip Hop there was no hesitation in taking on the Stagecoach gig ... we're told he plans on bringing his existing "amazing show full of hits" and stage presence and is "excited" to be in the great company of so many music stars.

Wiz picked a perfect time to align himself with the cowboy. Country music is killing this year ... 4 of its songs have consecutively topped the Billboard Hot 100 and the hits keep coming.

Last week, Wiz also surprised the crowd of his hometown Pittsburgh during Morgan's concert ... who knows what the future at Stagecoach could bring???

The "Black & Yellow" rapper is coming off a summer blowout tour with Snoop Dogg, and they even represented at Hip Hop's 50th celebration in NYC ... he's more than prepared to take on the Indio desert for the country fans.

Cardi B is giving a few fans a little more bang for their buck with her upcoming "Bongos" collab with Megan Thee Stallion -- they're getting a bit of Cardi's essence along with their signed CDs!!!

An eager Cardi B gave in to a few seedy fan demands, and did her best to create scratch and sniff versions of the CDs cover art. While live on IG Tuesday night, she rubbed copies between her legs, her boob ... and, of course, her ass cheeks.

If that wasn't enough for fetish-loving fans ... she also licked several copies in an attempt to tone down the nasty!!!

Cardi and Meg have a near-Diamond collab with their 2020 hit "WAP" ... and are presumably picking up where that success left off with Friday's release of "Bongos."

The track might also jumpstart the campaign on Cardi's next album.

Blueface and Chrisean Rock probably aren't cousins after all -- so says his mother in a much-needed clarification -- but she's got plenty of other beefs with the mother of her new grandson.

We talked to Karlissa Saffold Wednesday in L.A. and asked what she meant by claiming Blue and Chrisean might be related. As she explains, there are Dorseys in her extended fam, and once she learned Chrisean's mother has that same maiden name ... she thought there could be a blood connection.

However, after some more research, Karlissa says she no longer believes her son and Chrisean are actually cuzzos ... although, she'd still like a DNA test done, just in case.

With that family tree crisis averted ... we asked her about how the birth went down -- namely, the fact Blueface was partying in Miami, and not with Chrisean for the delivery.

That got him a lot of heat online, many called him rude and insensitive, but Karlissa defends her son ... accusing Chrisean of bolting to Maryland to give birth without giving Blue a heads up. She says Blueface is a great dad, and most certainly wanted to be there to bring his latest child into the world.

Karlissa has more barbs for Chrisean here too, including how she came up with the baby boy's name.

We should also note, Karlissa's got her own family reality show in the works with Blueface, his siblings and Karlissa herself called "CixoT" ... and you gotta imagine they'll bring up Chrisean in the mix.

Mom is squarely in Blueface's corner -- despite some ugly history -- and it doesn't sound like a big, happy family Thanksgiving dinner with Chrisean is in the future.

New York native and singer Kevin Rudolf was 25 years old when his song "Let It Rock" featuring Lil Wayne became an international banger -- reaching number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 2 on the Canadian Hot 100 -- back in 2008.

In addition to his vocal skills, Rudolf is also a songwriter and plays several instruments. In 2003, he strung his guitar on Lil Kim's hit song "The Jumpoff," which led to other collaborations including Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and The Black Eyed Peas.

Kanye West is launching a legal offensive against an IG page that he claims has been leaking his music ... a tactic that may eventually lead to learning the identity of the person behind alleged leaks.

According to new court docs, Kanye is suing the unknown individuals behind the Instagram account for @DaUnreleasedGod claiming they misappropriated his trade secrets ... in this case, by posting a bunch of Ye's unreleased music!!!

The complaint specifies Ye has no clue who's behind the IG page but believes whoever is behind the account worked with him in the past and signed a confidentiality agreement before being given access to the tracks ... and he believes the leaks violated those agreements.

He plans to amend the filing with the names of the people behind the account once he learns their identity.

Since March 2023, Ye claims he's seen 21 leaks of his music on @DaUnreleasedGod's IG and another 11 via the same Twitter handle ... with songs ranging from potential blockbusters with DJ Khaled and DaBaby to unreleased tracks from the "Donda" and "Jesus Is King" albums to reference tracks for Rihanna and will.I.am.

Last week, Ye was out in Ireland when he played Steve Lacy some new tunes but that was clearly on his own terms.

Lil Rel Howery says an ill-timed trip to the men's room almost spoiled his marriage proposal during Beyoncé's concert ... and he's thanking her for stalling long enough for him to pop the question.

The comedian joined us Wednesday on "TMZ Live" and told us all about how his engagement went down ... and why nature called at the most inopportune time.

Lil Rel proposed to his GF Dannella Lane at Beyonce's concert Monday night at SoFi Stadium, and he says Jay-Z and Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles, advised him to do it when she sang "Love On Top" ... and they arranged to get the moment on the stadium's big screen.

It's funny, Lil Rel says he was waiting for the song for so long, he finally needed to break the seal ... and as soon as he got to the bathroom, "Love On Top" started playing.

Lil Rel says he finished his biz, and rushed back to his woman ... but he couldn't find their seats!!!

With the clock literally ticking, Lil Rel says he had to go back out and retrace his steps, and when he finally got back to his seats a cameraman was waiting ... and Beyoncé was motioning for him to get on with the proposal because she was dragging out the song. 😂

It all worked out, since Dannella said "Yes," and he tells us how the plan to propose really came together at the last minute. As for whether Bey's forgiven his tardiness ... we'll let him tell it.
