There is life after "Beavis and Butt-head" for rapper T-Baby, who blew up when the show roasted her song, “It’s So Cold In The D” -- and now she’s making her return with an official remix.

No lie, the re-up version – shot in Detroit’s rough East Side -- is just as ghetto fab as the original 2006 salute to life in the Motor City ... although the mix is smoother and T-Baby's wardrobe got an upgrade. Is that lynx or rabbit?

T-Baby says the new banger is for all her haters. Plus, it’s still really cold in the D.

R.I.P. Beavis and Butt-head, who are no longer available to review the remix -- but we're confident they would've called it ... uh huh huh huh… cool.

'Beavis & Butt-Head' Rapper Are You Threatening Me?!?!

The rapper whose song was mercilessly ridiculed by Beavis & Butt-Head last month now lives in fear for her life -- telling TMZ, ever since the episode aired ... she's been receiving horrifying racist threats.

Rapper T-Baby tells us, she's been getting more than a hundred text messages a day since her music video for "It's So Cold in the D" debuted on the MTV show -- but it doesn't stop with texts ... Baby says she also gets verbally accosted on the street.

According to the rapper, the shocking racist text threats include -- "Goodnight n*****, I wish all you f**kers would go back to Africa where you belong not here. Sleep by your window so I can get to you easier."

T-Baby says she doesn't want to involve the police because she's "no snitch" -- but that leaves her with few options ... like changing her phone number, or moving.

T-Baby tells us, "I feel in a lost situation because I have no one but my son ... but I refuse to stop. Only way I can show how I am here to stay is keep doing my thing."

'It's So Cold In The D' Rapper Says She's GRATEFUL for 'Beavis & Butt-Head' Jokes

It pays to be zinged by "Beavis & Butt-Head" ... at least according to the Detroit rapper who's been BLOWIN' UP since the duo featured her music video for the YouTube hit, "It's So Cold in the D" on their show earlier this month.

TMZ spoke with T-Baby -- aka Latonya Miles -- who tells us she doesn't mind that B&B cracked some jokes about her on the MTV show ... because producers forked over a few THOUSAND dollars to get her permission.

T-Baby says, "People have been making fun of me my whole life ... so, it's no big deal because I'm still getting paid from them ... so I'm laughin' all the way to the bank."

T-Baby also says her exposure on the show has given her the "biggest kick off to my career ever."

The rapper says she's getting paid $4k for every year the show featuring her video is aired on MTV -- explaining, "I already got my $4,000 for this year and I'm expecting it every year for the next five years."
