Virgin America Buckle Up, Todrick Hall ... You're Getting Sued for Safety Video
The production company behind Virgin America's wildly popular safety video is pissed because it claims the guy who created it, got sloppy ... legally speaking.
The airline's super-bouncy little ditty about buckling seat belts, life vests and oxygen masks was created by Todrick Hall -- a singer and choreographer you probably remember from "American Idol," "Rupaul's Drag Race" and also the safety video. If you've ever flown Virgin, the damn song probably stuck in your head for the whole flight.
According to docs, obtained by TMZ, when Todrick sold the video to Virgin for $3,000, he told them he had cleared all components of it -- meaning he had legal rights to the music, lyrics, voices and performances.
The company that produced the video for Todrick is called Virgin Produced 2.0 (a production arm of Virgin Group). According to the suit, if Todrick had NOT cleared something in the video, he would be on the hook for it.
Enter said hook -- Virgin America and Virgin Produced 2.0 got sued by a woman named Noemi Del Rio, who says she worked with Todrick in 2013 to co-create the safety video. That's her voice during the distinctive "little girl's rap" section. Del Rio says she never gave Todrick rights to her voice, so she's suing to get paid.
In its lawsuit against Todrick, Virgin Produced 2.0 says he's gotta cover their ass, financially speaking, for the lawsuit with Del Rio.
Translation: This is your captain speaking, and there's gonna be some turbulence ahead, Todrick. Fasten your seat belt. *DING*

Sidenote ... Vitaly TRIED to book a fight with KSI before Logan did ... and even called him out back in February. KSI decided to ultimately sign a deal with Logan.
But keep an eye on this guy ... it's possible he could fight KSI (or another social media star) sometime in the future.

Kanye West's MAGA Pic No Alt-Right Gesture ... That's a Company Sign!!!
Everyone who thinks Kanye West's red MAGA hat photo also features a man flashing an alt-right symbol needs to chill, because it's not true.
The man giving the OK sign -- which many believe is a gesture used by the alt-right or white supremacists -- is YouTube's Global Head of Music, Lyor Cohen ... but it's not even an OK sign to him.
A rep for YouTube tells us ... Cohen's gesture is meant to represent the company he founded -- 300 Entertainment -- and nothing more. He's also done it several times before.
As we reported ... Kanye's been on the Trump Train Wednesday, sending out several tweets about his love for the Prez, including the provocative selfie with Cohen and Lucian Grainge, CEO of Universal Music.

Jake Paul Sued Joke's on You, Bud ... Trashing Our Pad Will Cost Ya $2.5M
3:17 PM PT -- Jake's rep tells TMZ, "There's no allegation regarding the actual amount of damages other than the request for punitive damages. That's because the damages were minimal compared to the amount they're asking. They say they want punitive damages because they say they didn't know Jake would use the house for his pranks, but the original lease states it's for Jake's personal use."
The rep adds, "After more than a year, when they presumably would have known all about the pranks, instead of asking him to leave they raised the rent and increased the security deposit. Something doesn't add up."
The Paul Bros. are at it again -- this time it's Jake being taken to court for treating his rental home like the capital of Pranksville, USA ... which could cost him millions.
Jake is being sued by Cobra Acquisitions, LLC -- which owns the newly constructed L.A.-based house Jake allegedly rented from them in 2016 -- for what they claim are substantial damages left at the home during his year-and-a-half tenancy.
According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Jake rented the pad in May 2016 for $17,495/month with a security deposit of $40k. He moved out in December 2017, and allegedly left the place in ruins -- burn marks in the pool, dead landscaping, and busted cabinets.
Cobra says Jake did not disclose he was a famous YouTube prankster when they first leased to him, but that it quickly became apparent what line of work he was in. They allege the fire department had been called out a number of times while he lived there, and that social media stars would constantly be at the crib ... leaving neighbors pissed and complaining.
Needless to say, Cobra doesn't believe the $40k deposit covers their estimated damages. They're asking a judge for at least $2.5 million in damages.

YouTube Feud Mars Sues Titanic and ThatPoppy ... You Jacked My Identity!!!
A YouTube star who goes by the name ThatPoppy is accused of stealing the identity of fellow YouTuber Mars Argo, and Mars says her ex-bf, Titanic Sinclair, is behind the dastardly deed.
Mars claims in a new lawsuit she and Titanic were an item for 5 years, but that all changed after Titanic became violent and even suicidal in 2014 when she says they broke up.
During happier times, Mars and Titanic were prolific, producing 92 super popular videos featuring Mars singing.
But, love is a fleeting thing that often turns bad after breakups, and Mars says that's exactly what happened. She claims Titanic hitched his wagon to ThatPoppy, who starred in Comedy Central's "Internet Famous with Poppy."
Mars says Titanic and ThatPoppy completely mimic her songs. Even worse, she says ThatPoppy started looking creepily like her ... rabbit ears and all.
So Mars is now trying to sink Titanic, claiming copyright infringement, emotional distress and other stuff. She's also suing ThatPoppy for uncreatively pilfering her persona.
Mars' lawyer, Matthew Umhofer, tells TMZ, "Both Mr. Mixter [Titanic] and Poppy are frauds. Their only artistry is con artistry: Their only original creation is the suffering they've caused my client."
