Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones celebrated in style after helping the New York Liberty win their first-ever WNBA Finals on Sunday ... commemorating the accomplishment by raging with fans and the team's famous mascot, Ellie the Elephant!!

Stewart was spotted out on the town shortly after the Liberty beat the Minnesota Lynx in overtime at the Barclays Center ... taking Game 5 and the championship series in epic fashion.

Shortly after the victory, the 6-foot-4 forward danced the night away and chugged a bottle of bubbly in the middle of a crowded NYC venue .... all while Jones held up her WNBA Finals MVP trophy.

Marta Xargay Casademont -- a former pro shooting guard who retired in 2021 -- reportedly went to the NYPD last week after receiving the terrifying message from an anonymous sender.

"I hope someone shoots your wife dead" ... is just one of the awful things in the email.

The curious scene all unfolded in the first quarter of the Indiana Fever's playoff matchup with the Connecticut Sun ... following a foul call on the floor.

After appearing to exchange words with a man in the second row, Clark got the attention of the refs -- and pointed at the guy. She seemed pissed ... and moments later, arena officials tapped the man on his shoulder and escorted him away from the area.

Caitlin Clark had a rough go of it in her playoff debut -- scoring just 11 points in the Indiana Fever's 93-69 blowout loss to the Connecticut Sun -- leaving the arena with a black eye after getting poked in the eye.

The eye injury occurred early in Sunday's contest against the Sun, with guard DiJonai Carrington poking the AP Rookie of the Year just 90 seconds into the game.

An alternate angle shows Carrington's digits going directly into Clark's eye -- sending her to the ground in pain.
