Steve Bannon's calling out the elephant in the room where Mark Cuban's considering a run for the presidency as a Republican ... by labeling him a donkey.

We got the Breitbart exec Monday in D.C. and asked if Mark would be taken seriously as a Republican if he were to run against Trump in 2020 ... his answer's brief, but telling.

As we reported ... the Dallas Mavericks owner told Harvey Levin on "OBJECTified" Sunday night that he'd run against 45 under the umbrella of the GOP ... if he decides to.

Doesn't look like Bannon would be in his corner on that front ... cross the aisle, maybe?

Bill Clinton Hangs with Usain Bolt ... 'I'm a Huge Fan!'

HANGIN' WITH THE BIG DOGS

Usain Bolt loves Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton loves Usain Bolt ... and they professed their love for each other at an F1 race in Texas over the weekend.

The two were both VIP guests at the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas on Sunday -- where they hung out and BS'd together before the race?

Bolt told Bill he's the greatest President ever. Clinton told Bolt, "I'm a huge fan."

And why? There was that time at the Olympics Bolt convinced his GF to let him mess around with other women.

Game respects game, right?

Bolt also hung out with Lewis Hamilton -- who ended up winning the race!

Gregg Popovich Donald Trump's a 'Soulless Coward' & 'Pathological Liar'

Gregg Popovich is absolutely fed up with President Trump ... calling POTUS a "pathological liar" and "soulless coward" for comments he made while talking about the deadly ambush in Niger.

Here's the deal ... Trump has been criticized for not publicly addressing the 4 U.S. soldiers who were killed in an ambush in Niger on October 4.

Today, POTUS defended himself while calling out former presidents ... claiming he is more caring with families of fallen soldiers.

Popovich -- whose never held back when it comes to Trump -- RIPPED into 45 in a conversation with The Nation about his swipe at Barack Obama and George W. Bush ... and everything else.

"This man in the Oval Office is a soulless coward who thinks that he can only become large by belittling others," Pop said.

"This has of course been a common practice of his, but to do it in this manner -- and to lie about how previous Presidents responded to the deaths of soldiers -- is as low as it gets."

The Spurs coach went on to say ... "We have a pathological liar in the White House: unfit intellectually, emotionally, and psychologically to hold this office and the whole world knows it, especially those around him every day."

Scott Disick White House Bound After Candy Shop Opening

Scott Disick has a busier day in the Washington, DC area than your average Senator does -- starting with a candy store visit, and ending with a trip to President Trump's crib. Man's got priorities.

Sources close to Disick tell TMZ ... after he hosts the grand opening celebration of a Sugar Factory in Arlington Thursday at 6 PM, he's making the 5-mile trip over to the White House for a private tour.

We're told Scott and his kids -- along with another friend and his kid -- will be taking the tour, which Disick organized earlier this week.

Imagine Lord Disick in the Oval Office! We're guessing the Prez would love the cut of his jib.

Eminem sparking up a rap beef with Donald Trump is a great way to fire up voters, especially in his home state ... according to Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison.

We got Rep. Ellison Wednesday on Capitol Hill, where politicians are buzzing -- like the rest of the country -- about Em's epic cypher attacking Trump. Ellison was quick to applaud the Detroit native, saying he's "doing the right thing."

He also says while Eminem intentionally alienated his Trump-supporting fans ... he's also struck a necessary chord with the people of Michigan, who had a poor showing at the polls last year.

As Ellison sees it ... it's Em to the rescue.

Justin Trudeau I'll Chat About 'Star Wars' ... Not Nuclear War

Justin Trudeau's stoked like the rest of us after seeing the new "Star Wars" trailer ... but he's got no time for nuke talk.

We got the Prime Minister of Canada in D.C. Wednesday and asked him what he thinks about "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" ... he says it's a must-see. As for real-life nuclear war that threatens to destroy us all -- no comment.

Can't blame Justin, though ... he's been busy in our nation's capital with other important matters. And signing autographs.

But he's right about that trailer.

NFL Calls 'Fake News' on Trump We're Not Making Players Stand!

The NFL says Donald Trump is WRONG by tweeting that Commish Roger Goodell is forcing players to stand for the national anthem ... claiming POTUS completely misunderstood Goodell's message.

FYI, Goodell had sent a letter to NFL owners this week saying league officials "believe that everyone should stand" for the anthem -- but said nothing about implementing a rule about it.

Fast-forward to Wednesday morning when Trump tweeted, "It is about time that Roger Goodell of the NFL is finally demanding that all players STAND for our great National Anthem-RESPECT OUR COUNTRY."

But the NFL says Trump is off base -- issuing a new statement in response to the President's tweet.

"Commentary this morning about the Commissioner's position on the Anthem is not accurate," the league said, specifically referencing Trump.

"As we said yesterday, there will be a discussion of these issues at the owners meeting next week. The NFL is doing the hard work of trying to move from protests to progress, working to bring people together."

So far, Trump's tweet is still at the top of his Twitter page.

President Obama I'm Disgusted by Harvey Weinstein

President Obama has added his name to the list of famous people who are disgusted by the stories that have surfaced about Harvey Weinstein.

The former Prez just said, "Michelle and I have been disgusted by the recent reports about Harvey Weinstein. Any man who demeans and degrades women in such a fashion needs to be condemned and held accountable, regardless of wealth or status."

Obama went on ... "We should celebrate the courage of women who have come forward to tell these painful stories. And we all need to build a culture -- including by empowering our girls and teaching our boys decency and respect -- so we can make such behavior less prevalent in the future."

You'll remember, Malia Obama was an intern at Weinstein's company in January.

Jalen Rose to Trump: Stop Attacking Jemele Hill ... 'She's Family'

TRUMP NEEDS TO FOCUS
TMZSports.com

ESPN host Jalen Rose tells TMZ Sports he wishes Donald Trump would stop going after his colleague Jemele Hill ... and focus on the "bigger issues" in our country.

The former NBA star is one of the more prominent figures on the network -- so with Trump tweeting about his co-worker, we asked for his thoughts.

"I just wish the President would focus on the larger issues we have to deal with in our country ... straight up, real talk ... as a tax paying citizen."

He added, "Jemele is family."

Donald Trump Takes Shot at Warriors During Penguins White House Visit

HONORED BY THE PREZ

The Pittsburgh Penguins stopped by the White House to celebrate their latest Stanley Cup title Tuesday ... and President Trump took a jab at the Golden State Warriors right off the bat.

"By the way, everybody wanted to be here today," Trump said ... clearly referring to his beef with Steph Curry and uninviting the Dubs to the Oval Office.

Sidney Crosby and Co. were front and center while POTUS put out his best jokes ... from admitting he hated standing in front of the attractive bunch, to asking owner Ronald Burkle to negotiate "some of our horrible trade deals."

Las Vegas Mass Shooting President Trump's Visit Gets Victim Up on Shot Leg

President Trump's visit to a Las Vegas hospital got one of the mass shooting victims to stand at attention ... even on his injured leg.

Thomas Gunderson is one of the victims the President and First Lady met Wednesday in Vegas. Gunderson says he was running toward Mandalay Bay Sunday night when one of the shooter's rounds pierced his leg.

Waiting for your permission to load the Facebook Video.

Despite his horrific injury Gunderson pulled himself up onto his feet when the Trumps entered his hospital room. As he put it ... "I will always respect my country, my president and my flag."

And there's this poignant image -- Air Force One taking off from Vegas, right behind the still bullet-riddled Mandalay Bay suite where the shooter opened fire.

Chuck D Trump's Protecting NRA 'Terrorists' ... Not Americans

WAKE UP AMERICA!

America's terrorist organization isn't a four-letter word, it's only three ... as in the NRA, according to Public Enemy's Chuck D.

Chuck's outrage was obvious when we asked how he was feeling about the mass shooting in Las Vegas -- and he's laying blame squarely at President Trump's feet. As far as he's concerned, the administration's blindly backing the NRA ... even in the wake of atrocities.

Still, PE's frontman sounded hopeful things will eventually change ... but says it's on the next generation to make it happen.

Evan Rachel Wood Fires Back at Steve Bannon For 'Dumb as Ticks' Slam

Evan Rachel Wood had a message for Steve Bannon ... and it was written all over her.

The "Westworld" star was at LAX Sunday, and we asked if she had more to say after the ousted White House Chief Strategist called out Hollywood celebs, saying they're "dumb as ticks. And they're lazy."

Evan responded in a series of tweets ... essentially saying Hollywood's using its platform to shed light on social injustice, and speaking for those who don't have the same platform. But she wasn't done.

Her final retort to Bannon was scrawled on her t-shirt. She says a lot here, without saying a word.

White House Lights Up in Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The White House became a pink house Sunday to raise awareness for breast cancer ... and Melania Trump's got a great view.

The First Lady tweeted a photo from inside the White House Sunday night, which was illuminated in pink lighting to kick off the start of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The timing is nothing short of uncanny ... Julia Louis-Dreyfus just announced last week that she'd been diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after her sixth Emmys win for "Veep." She didn't reveal what stage she's in ... but she did take the opportunity to call for universal health care.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month runs through October.

Obama, Dubya, Bill 3's Company on the Presidential Green ... Sorry, Donnie

Nothing says "You Can't Sit With Us" like Donald Trump's 3 predecessors crashing the Presidents Cup to watch the first tee shots -- sans the current Prez ... who loves golf.

Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton attended the trophy presentation together Thursday at Liberty National Golf Club in New Jersey, before the foursome matches kicked off between America and its international competition.

The ex-Presidents looked super chummy, greeting the crowd and shaking hands. The irony, of course, is Prez Trump is a big-time golfer, and even has a golf course just 40 miles away from where the ex-Presidents were chilling.

Then again, Trump has bigger things to worry about now -- while these guys have done their duty already.

2 Chainz Goes After Trump In New Track with NBA's Victor Oladipo

2 Chainz is calling for people to "pledge allegiance on one knee" -- in a direct response to Donald Trump ... and it's all part of a new song with NBA star Victor Oladipo.

The Indiana Pacers star just dropped his 2nd single called "Rope a Dope" (dude can really sing) -- and it features a rap verse from Tity Boi himself.

A rep tells TMZ Sports the song "serves as a response to President Donald Trump's attack on athletes who have been kneeling during the National Anthem."

"I wanted to address what was going on and bring awareness to it, but in a positive manner,"Oladipo says.

"We need to come together as a country to deal with these problems. We aren't going to solve anything unless we're united."
