Kevin McGrath, the missing Carnival cruise passenger who mysteriously disappeared during a Bahamas trip, was on probation at the time ... which adds a whole new wrinkle to the case.

McGrath's legal troubles might provide another clue in his Labor Day weekend disappearance, which led to a Coast Guard search that has since been called off without finding him.

According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, McGrath pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in Tennessee in September 2022 -- his wife said he threatened to kill her and their kids -- and he ended up getting sentenced to 6 years of supervised probation.

The docs say McGrath got permission to move from Tennessee to Florida, where he was living with his parents ... and the cruise was a celebration for his father's 60th birthday.

But, McGrath's probation officers say he never got permission to go on the cruise, and it appears his probation office only found out he was aboard the ship when the media reported he'd vanished.

What's more, the docs say he's violating probation by failing to maintain communication with his probation officer. All attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful since the cruise, and his whereabouts remain unknown.

The PO also says McGrath is delinquent on $241.20 in probation fees, and he hasn't made any payments toward court fees. He's on probation for

McGrath vanished as the cruise was returning to Florida from the Bahamas. He was apparently last seen the night of Sept. 3 and his keycard was used to enter his room at 3:30 AM the next day. His family had planned to meet for breakfast, but he didn't show up and was reported missing when everyone got off the ship.

Cops say Carnival staff and security scoured the ship for McGrath ... and the ship's overboard detection system never alarmed. Bottom line: Police say there is no evidence he went overboard, and there was no sign of him onboard.

The U.S. Coast Guard brought in helicopters to search 3,300 square nautical miles for McGrath but didn't find a trace and called off the search.

Strange time for a nap ... Alex Jones literally went to sleep while appearing as a guest on Craig Jones' (no relation!) show on Thursday after the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champ sent the controversial host to La La Land with a super tight rear-naked choke! 😴

49-year-old Jones' was appearing on Craig's "El Segundo Podcast" when the IBJJF world champ got to live out the real-life fantasy of many of Alex's opponents, literally putting the Infowars host to sleep square in his chair on set.

It's unclear what led up to the submission (Alex was clearly down with it) ... and given Craig's one of the best in the world when it comes to strangling people (he coaches Alex Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya), it didn't take him long.

Craig posted video of the incident ... and had some fun with the caption, writing, "The CIA sent me but I couldn’t do my dad like that"

Again, no father-son relation here.

The clip starts with the choke already in deep. After about 8 seconds of pressure, Jones' eyes rolled back, and he was out cold.

Almost 10 seconds later, Alex finally wakes up ... but clearly had no idea what the hell just happened -- common among people who have been choked out.

"What? What'd I just do?" Alex asked, looking around.

Presumably, Craig will drop more videos with Alex when the pod episode debuts.

One Jack-in-the-Box employee got wound up a little too tight when dealing with an angry drive-thru customer -- whipping out her gun ... and firing as the customer fled.

This INSANE footage just surfaced as part of an ongoing lawsuit that a man named Anthony Ramos filed against the fast food chain -- all over a 2021 incident that Ramos says was caught on video showing a JITB worker firing bullets after she and Ramos got into it over curly fries.

Essentially ... Ramos says he and his family -- including his pregnant wife and young daughter -- swung by a Houston-area Jack-in-the-Box in March '21 and ordered a combo meal to go, but when he told the employees he was missing items, things escalated.

The back-and-forth arguing got so intense that Ramos apparently started to chuck some of the food back at the JITB drive-thru crew -- which spurred employee Alonniea Fantasia Ford to head back into the recesses of the restaurant ... only to return with a pistol in hand.

The surveillance footage Ramos and his legal team obtained in discovery seems to show Ford shooting at least a couple times at Ramos/his car -- which speeds away.

Luckily, it doesn't sound like anyone was hurt -- but Ramos and co. are now going after the Jack-in-the-Box ... alleging they were negligent in hiring Ford.

Lil Tay's father has been accused of being the mastermind behind her death hoax on social media, but the guy's calling BS ... and pointing fingers at who may be to blame.

Christopher Hope tells TMZ an IG Story posted to Lil Tay's official account Tuesday -- which labels him as the perpetrator of the death hoax -- is not only false ... but defamatory, and he warns that this could land in civil court.

He says, "The person who is responsible for that Instagram post, as well as anyone repeating the completely false and libelous accusation within it, are virtually certain to become defendants in a defamation lawsuit."

Hope adds, "Everything stated is 100% false, and I trust that this should be obvious to anyone who knows me or the long history of absurd and untrue statements made by the various people who have controlled the Instagram account."

As far as what exactly the IG post said ... well, you can read it for yourself. It accuses Hope of being racist and abusive toward women -- in addition to being the one who pre-emptively announced her death ... which turned out not to be true.

Frankly, it's hard to decipher what the truth is in this whole Lil Tay saga ... because all of it is so freaking weird. What we know for certain is that Lil Tay's parents have been embroiled in a nasty custody battle for years now -- which her mom recently told us went in her favor.

Attorneys for Tay's mother, Angela Tian, told us their client was happy to regain a lot of control over how to raise their kid ... and all but guaranteed a comeback to showbiz.

The one person we haven't seen or heard from directly in all this ... Lil Tay.

A shirtless man in L.A. led cops on what has to be one of the slowest and most bizarre chases ever -- going way under the speed limit in a golf cart ... with a dog in his lap!

The slow-speed pursuit went down Sunday night -- the driver, reaching top speeds of 19 MPH, had allegedly stolen the vehicle from a nearby shopping center, which is when the "chase" began in earnest.

With as many as 4 LAPD cruisers in tow ... the driver was topless and barefoot with a pup chilling in his lap.

After multiple failed spike strip attempts by officers, he drove the cart into a parking lot and hopped out with the dog in his arm ... running around a semi-truck that was unloading.

Randolph White, sitting alongside his wife, Carrie, tells TMZ ... he could've been killed by the missing F-35 jet that practically crash-landed in his South Carolina backyard on Sunday -- calling it a real "near miss."

He thinks officials and the military should go through a thorough investigation and find out what the hell went wrong ... and he even wants whoever's to blame to be held responsible for the potentially fatal catastrophe.

As we reported, Randolph gained traction online for the hilarious way he described the fighter jet crashing nearby -- calling the sound it made something "between a screech and a whistle" before giving his own, wild impression.

BTW, Randolph gave us a new version of the sound ... and it's just as great.

Randolph tells us he's not all that interested in his internet fame, but Carrie and their kids sure are loving it! The guy admits he isn't used to his celeb status, but he'll take it.

FYI, 911 audio revealed the pilot ejected out of the aircraft and landed in someone's backyard ... apparently hurting his back. As you can imagine, the dispatcher was pretty confused about the rare call-in.

Luego, el piloto se pone al teléfono y dice: "Señora, se ha estrellado un avión militar. Soy el piloto. Tenemos que poner en marcha el rescate", y añade: "No estoy seguro de dónde está el avión. Se habrá estrellado en algún sitio. Me eyecté".

La operadora tiene que escucharlo todo unas cuantas veces antes de procesar lo sucedido.

Bizarre 911 audio after a pilot ejected from a stealth military jet and landed in someone's backyard is raising even more questions about what went down before the jet went down.

As we reported, an F-35 crashed in South Carolina Sunday, after an undescribed "malfunction" caused the pilot to eject from the jet, which was flying at 1,000 feet.

The pilot landed in the backyard of a home, and apparently injured his back. You hear the homeowner super calmly talking to a very confused 911 dispatcher, explaining the pilot needed an ambulance.

The homeowner says, "We got a pilot in the house and I guess he landed in my backyard, and we're trying to see if we could get an ambulance to the house, please."

Then the pilot gets on the horn, saying, "Ma'am, a military jet crashed. I'm the pilot. We need to get rescue rolling," adding, "I'm not sure where the airplane is. It would have crash landed somewhere. I ejected."

The dispatcher needs to hear it all a few times before she can process what happened.

The jet crashed in a remote area of South Carolina. A resident told a local news reporter what it sounded like before and on impact.

It took the military nearly 24 hours to locate the wreckage, which is extremely puzzling.

Traveling light is always the goal, but, uh ... this guy's taking it just a hair too far.

Folks in Dallas-Fort Worth airport got an eyeful when this butt-naked dude casually strolled through one of the concourses, past a TGI Fridays -- hey, for some folks it's always Friday!!!

Mind you, there was surprisingly little fanfare or shock from his fellow travelers, besides the guy who recorded this Monday night. He couldn't help yelling the obvious, "There's a naked guy in the airport!"

That brilliant color commentary was very much appreciated by the nudist himself, who turned, smiled and pointed at the camera as if he were an all-star athlete walking off the field.

Cops weren't as impressed and took the man into custody for a mental health evaluation ... and he was not booked for any crime.

And then, he recreated the sound for WBTW News13 by unleashing the most amazing banshee-like squeal!!! You really just gotta see and hear it to believe it.

Anyway, ol' RW says that sound was followed by a loud boom, and he thought ... "What in the world is that?" The answer is an unmanned F-35B stealth fighter jet that had completely disappeared from the military's radar when the pilot ejected Sunday during a training flight.

Randolph didn't see the jet, so he didn't immediately report it -- but changed his mind after thinking it might have been a meteorite or a plane flying too low.

Military police and recovery teams have roped off the massive debris field left by the $100 million weapon going down -- and thankfully, no one on the ground was hurt ... especially Randolph, who's a freakin' national treasure.
