Suni Lee, la estrella olímpica que ganó el oro en Tokio 2020, acaba de revelar que los problemas renales que ha sufrido este año la hicieron engordar 20 kilos (45 libras).

La gimnasta de 1,70 metros hizo la revelación en una entrevista con USA Today esta semana, apenas unos meses después de que dejara Auburn para controlar la dolencia.

"No me cabía la ropa", le dijo Lee al medio. "Tenía los ojos hinchados. Estaba muy asustada".

Afortunadamente, Lee dijo que está mejor ahora y, según USA Today, se parece "mucho a la gimnasta" que compitió en los Juegos Olímpicos hace casi tres años.

"Hacía tiempo que no tenía un día realmente malo", dijo Lee. "Pero al principio era como si me despertara hinchada. Tenía los dedos tan hinchados que no me cabían en las empuñaduras y no podía agarrarme a la barra".

Añadió: "Todo mi cuerpo estaba hinchado porque estaba reteniendo agua, así que no podía hacer una voltereta. ... Fue realmente diferente y tuve que aprender a trabajar con ello".

Lee dijo que ha hecho algunos cambios en su dieta, eliminando gran parte de su ingesta de sodio, lo que le ha permitido reavivar su búsqueda de más medallas en los Juegos Olímpicos de París 2024.

"Todavía estamos trabajando para averiguar cómo equilibrar todo porque tengo días buenos y días malos", dijo Lee. "Pero con los días buenos solo aprovecho lo que soy capaz de hacer, y en los días malos solo hago lo básico y trato de mantenerme lo más segura posible".

Based on what we can see here ... their regimen is working, 'cause Dave's looking swoll!

You don't see the guy's face here -- but you can definitely get a sense of how his body's shaping up ... and he certainly looks a bit more Superman-ly now. It's a bit of a 180 from what we saw earlier this summer, when Dave hit the beach and bared his hot dad bod.

There was certainly nothing wrong with what he was working with then -- especially below the equator -- but let's just say ... he wasn't nearly as muscled out as he is right now.

Now that Dave seems to have the Clark Kent physique down ... it would appear he's checking all the boxes fans of the franchise want to see in their Superman. He definitely has the face and hair department on lock -- not to mention height -- and now ... he's ripped too.

Time will tell what he ultimately looks like in the blue and red suit ... but this is a sign things are headed in the right direction. Filming for 'Superman: Legacy' is set to get underway in Spring 2024 ... and the flick's being released in Summer 2025.

Brandi Mallory died in a bizarre manner that, for now, remains a total mystery -- although one piece of the puzzle has been answered ... she died after a dinnertime food run, though there's no evidence her Chipotle meal had anything to do with her death.

TMZ has obtained the police report pertaining to the "Extreme Weight Loss" star's death -- and it's fairly shocking to see what cops say preceded her sudden passing. Per the Atlanta PD paperwork, Mallory was last seen alive while buying some grub from a local Chipotle.

The report notes that Mallory's vehicle was spotted in the parking lot of a strip mall early on Nov. 9 -- this while the owner of an adjacent deli noticed it just sitting there all by itself.

The deli owner told cops he also saw a female inside who appeared to be asleep -- but the alarm bells started ringing when he says he saw the car there much later in the day ... which signaled to him something was wrong. As it turns out, there was ... BM was found deceased.

The police report says cops reviewed surveillance footage that showed Mallory pulling into the lot the night prior around 5:53 PM ... at which point, she went into the Chipotle, came out with her food, and then went into her vehicle -- but never left or came out after that.

The cops note there's no sign of foul play, and her exact cause of death is still under investigation.

Forget running the UFC ... Dana White now looks like he could straight-up compete in the fighting org. -- and he says it's all 'cause of an 86-hour fast he did this week.

The 54-year-old revealed in a video on his social media page Wednesday night that he began his fast after UFC 295 on Saturday night ... and just a few days later, he's seen incredible results.

White explained in the clip that he began the no-food streak by doing nothing more than drinking water with electrolytes for 24 hours.

Then, the UFC honcho said he incorporated bone broth twice a day into his diet until the fast ended Wednesday morning ... and following it all, he clearly looked great.

But, White said his motivation wasn't exactly to get his 8-pack to pop ... rather, he told his followers he just wanted further help in preventing illnesses.

"Obviously i'm not a doctor," White said on X, "but i've been told by the experts that water fasting can help to significantly reduce the risk of cancer, alzheimers and a ton of other health issues."

Mallory passed away in Atlanta on November 9, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office.  Her cause of death has not been disclosed.

The ex-reality star made her 2014 appearance on season 4 of the ABC series. She revealed why she joined "Extreme Weight Loss" during a 2018 interview uploaded to YouTube.

Mallory told a journalist she was motivated to shed pounds after her overweight sorority sister died at age 29.

She said it played on her mind that she could die too if she didn't do something about her 329-pound frame.

The makeup artist said she went on a casting call for "The Biggest Loser," but was rejected, yet the producers helped her win a spot on "Extreme Weight Loss."

That show featured obese people on their journey to shed weight with a healthy diet and workout routine.

Mallory was 40.

Jacob Elordi's turn as Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola's new movie is getting a lot of head-turns -- and that's probably 'cause he method-acted his way into the role ... with pig skin.

The Aussie actor recently revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that he immersed himself into the character in a very unique way ... namely, by stuffing his face with bacon -- and a helluva lot of it, too.

During the roundtable, Coppola noted that Elordi ate a lot of pork strips on set -- which JE confirmed ... pointing out he would apparently down about a pound a day while working.

Seems this technique stemmed from something Priscilla Presley herself told them about her late ex-hubby and his grub of choice. Now, as for how all this bacon gorging affected Jake ... he says he got quite heavy, although he's fortunate enough that it never really showed.

It's interesting ... Elordi's approach to method acting (basically, clogging his arteries just like Elvis, it seems) significantly differs from Austin Butler's -- who continued using his Elvis voice well after cameras had stopped rolling.

AB's commitment to the schtick was praised by some ... and ridiculed by others.

Funny enough ... it sounds like Elordi's take might actually be more accurate to EP himself -- at least according to Coppola, who (in this same EW sit-down) says Priscilla told her after one of the screenings that JE's voice sounded just like Elvis did once upon a time.

The flick, 'Priscilla,' is getting rave reviews on all fronts ... but it's not without its controversy. Whereas the Butler film was a glossy Wikipedia slide through the King's life -- this project focuses more on Elvis and Priscilla's relationship ... and how they came together.

It's a little messy -- Elvis courted Priscilla while she was a teen, and there's been a lot of side-eye in 2023 over it -- something the late Lisa Marie Presley protested before she died.

In any case, the film is out in theaters now ... and there's been a lot of commentary.

Elvis' estate doesn't like Coppola's characterization of the icon either, FWIW -- but Priscilla herself has been on board from day one. This whole thing is literally based on her memoir.

As it turns out, Paige says it's not annoying -- she actually understands why people would be curious ... saying, "No, because they've actually gotten a lot bigger."

"So, I can see a lot of people being confused by like, [how they were] when I first started this."

Paige -- who went on to say she's "always had a chest, but not like this" -- explained her boobs get bigger and smaller whenever her body type changes ... and there's nothing more to it.

"It's just ... the human body is a magical thing."

The former Maxim Sexiest Woman Alive has a history of getting candid about her body -- as we previously reported, she once had to delete comments on one of her posts to combat the idiots who were shaming her weight.

"Honestly the amount of men calling me 'fat' on this post is next level lol," the 30-year-old said back in September 2022.

Britney Spears says a brief run-in with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake triggered a panic attack before her infamously bad 2007 MTV VMA performance.

Britney was set for a big return to the stage that night with her song "Gimme More" ... but was caught off guard when she saw JT at the show.

In her new memoir, "The Woman In Me," Britney recalls the interaction, writing ... "It had been a while since I'd seen him. Everything was going great in his world. He was at the top of his game in every way, and he had a lot of swagger. I was having a panic attack."

Britney says she "hated the way I looked" ... because "It was less than a year since I'd had my second baby in two years but everyone was acting like my not having six-pack abs was offensive."

What's more, Britney admits she hadn't rehearsed enough and knew the performance "was going to be bad." She says "nothing was going right" backstage ... claiming there were problems with her costume and hair extensions. She says she didn't sleep the night before, and was feeling dizzy.

Britney continued ... "I couldn’t believe I was going to have to go out onstage feeling the way I felt." She says she went out and tried her best, admitting it wasn't up to par for her.

She added ... "I could see myself on video throughout the auditorium while I performed; it was like looking at myself in a fun-house mirror."

JT, on the other hand, was on the other end of the spectrum in Britney's eyes.

She says, "Justin glided down the runway. He was flirting with girls in the audience, including one who turned around and arched her back, shaking her breasts as he sang to her."

In the immortal words of Fat Joe ... a JetBlue airplane leaned back -- way back -- while parked at JFK Airport, tipping onto its freakin' tail as passengers were exiting!

The wild scene played out Sunday night at the NYC airport -- the Airbus A321-231 popped a wheelie, unintentionally, after landing from Barbados ... delivering a major shock to passengers and crew.

The plane's tail tipped backward "due to a shift in weight and balance during deplaning," according to JetBlue spokesman Derek Dombrowski ... who told NY Post the aircraft eventually came back down to its normal level.

He added there were no injuries in the rare incident ... and the company's currently investigating what happened and has taken the plane out of rotation for inspection.

For those unaware, pilots often calculate the weight and balance before every flight to determine the plane's center of gravity -- looking at things like the total weight of passengers and luggage, so it's unclear what was in the back of the plane that made it flip.

Kelly Clarkson sent fans into a frenzy after looking incredible, appearing to have recently shed some weight ... this after last year's rough divorce from Brandon Blackstock.

The singer stunned her followers online after she showed off her slim physique with a snap last weekend getting ready to appear on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" -- rocking a black lace top and a huge smile on her face.

Fans were praising Kelly left and right in the comments, with loads of folks shouting out how fantastic she looks ... but some pointed to the potential for meds contributing -- at least, in part -- to the slimmed look.
