Zach Galifianakis' dramatic weight loss has gone next level ... even the guy's beard is thinning down!

The funnyman looked like a fraction of his Carlos-toting 'Hangover' character on his way into lunch Wednesday in Venice.

Zach's said he dropped the lbs through healthy eating and less boozing. Whatever he's doing looks wayyy better than any of the 'Hangover' sequels.

Especially #3.

Dr. Oz is getting called out again over a "magic weight-loss cure" he touted on his TV show ... this time in a class action lawsuit.

The suit is all over weight loss supplements containing Garcinia Cambogia ... which is green coffee bean extract. They're sold by a company called Labrada, and Dr. Oz covered the products on an episode called "Five Biggest Fat Busters for Five Body Types in Just Five Days."

The suit, filed by a consumer on behalf of all purchasers, says Oz described Garcinia Cambogia as a revolutionary fat buster which "could be the magic ingredient that lets you lose weight without diet or exercise." The suit says the "Oz Effect" caused sales to skyrocket.

Oz already had to testify about this product for a Senate panel in 2014, and during the grilling he leaned on evidence from a scientific study. But the lawsuit points out that study has since been discredited.

According to the suit, "all credible scientific evidence" shows Garcinia Cambogia simply doesn't work. The plaintiffs are going after Oz, Labrada, Harpo Productions and others to get their money back plus damages.

Answer: Hemsworth ... after he dropped major lbs for his starring role in Ron Howard's upcoming "In the Heart of the Sea."

Hemsworth plays a sailor stranded at sea in the Moby Dick-inspired flick, so he obviously got way into character. He posted the throwback pic from the set saying he wouldn't recommend the diet to anyone.

Hard to believe that's the same guy who plays Thor, but the good news is Chris is back to his standard beefy bod since filming.

Oprah is at the top of the weight loss totem pole, with so much swing even companies in head-to-head competition with Weight Watchers are praising O's latest business move.

A rep for Nutrisystem tells TMZ, Oprah's $43.2 million Weight Watchers investment helps everybody in the biz, saying, "We have a great amount of respect for Oprah and the spotlight she brings to the industry."

Nutrisystem is confident it'll keep its customers. The rep says, "It's a very large market that requires multiple solutions to meet consumers differing needs and lifestyles."

Bob Harper thinks it's a stroke of genius on Weight Watchers' part to team up with Oprah, because she's a 10 on the relatability scale.

We got "The Biggest Loser" trainer leaving Brick CrossFit in West Hollywood Monday, after Weight Watchers' stock doubled on the heels of the announcement Oprah now owns 10% of the company's stock and will sit on its board.

Oprah Winfrey made $45 million Monday ... off of one stock.

Oprah announced this morning she bought 10% of the outstanding shares of Weight Watchers -- a $43.2 million investment.

The stock soared from $6.79 Monday AM to $13.92 at the close of trading, grossing her a cool $45 mil.

The announcement Oprah was investing in the company made investors go crazy ... the volume of shares traded was 70 times more than normal.

Rob Kardashian not only looks like he's lost a lot of weight, there's a not-so-subtle message he seems to be telegraphing.

Rob posted this Saturday, presumably at a restaurant where he was eating a salad.

The phantom Kardashian has resurfaced this week after a long absence, and it's clear he's ready to show the progress he's made in the weight department. Rob's been working with trainer Gunnar Peterson, with the goal of losing 100 lbs.

The drink on the table's interesting ... could be an ice tea, but maybe a red bull and vodka or a margarita. Door number 1 would be the wisest choice.

If Kenan Thompson ever wants to host a late night show, Reverend Al Sharpton says he better drop some major poundage because nobody wants to fall asleep to a puffy porker.

Our photog asked Sharpton which black comedian he'd like to see snag a hosting gig, when out of nowhere he begins blasting Thompson's weight.

It's a strange response from Al -- who was once 305 lbs. himself, but now thinks Kenan is so big ... just seeing him gives people the munchies.

The 'Honey Boo Boo' matriarch is so inspired by her recent 45 lb. weight loss, she's gunning to lose another 50, with the help of the Lap-Band.

We did the math ... she currently weighs in at 276 lbs., and if she achieves her gastric goal she'll go down to a svelte 226.

June made the decision to go under the knife because she's plateaued with her trainer and her relatively healthy diet.

She'll have the surgery this summer, which means she'll just miss bikini season.

French Montana admits he packed on a few lbs while he was dating Khloe Kardashian ... but now that they're history, he's transformed his oversized gut into rock-hard abs.

French saw Khloe turn into a fitness machine after their breakup in early September, and he followed suit ... hitting the weights with producer Mally Mall at CrossFit in Sherman Oaks.

We're told Khloe's appearance in workout videos and her obvious weight loss the last couple months has been French's inspiration.
