"Sex and the City" star Jason Lewis got into a heated argument with his neighbor after the actor was caught firing a weapon to scare some feral cats away, but the gun wasn't loaded with bullets.
Jason was clearly upset over cats that were abandoned after one of his neighbors died this past September. Another neighbor has been feeding the felines every day, but according to the neighbor, Jason was pissed off because the cats were pooping in his yard.
The neighbor apparently caught Jason shooting in the vicinity of the strays, and that triggered a heated argument.
Jason explained he was shooting grains of rice in the direction of the cats, not to hurt them but rather to show them he means business. That did not sit well with the neighbor.
Jason, who also appeared in "90210" and "Charmed," told the neighbor he didn't aim for the cats but rather shot in their general direction to scare them. The neighbor says it's undermining her efforts to get the cats to trust her so she can find them new homes.
Jason tells TMZ, "Everyone who knows me knows my love of animals. I've tried for months to work with a person who is coming into the neighborhood and feeding a large group of feral cats in an effort to relocate them as they have been filling the yards with fleas and waste."
Jason goes on ... "I made the wrong choice in shooting rice into the dirt (not toward the cats) to spook with the noise and scare them away. To fellow animal lovers that I disappointed, I'm sorry."

Capitol Riots Video Michigan Man Arrested ... Beat Police with Hockey Stick!!!
A judge is showing no mercy for a Michigan man who appears in new video of the January 6 Capitol insurrection, to strike several cops with a hockey stick.
The federal government released the footage it says shows Michael Foy assaulting the officers -- including a Metro PD cop on the ground -- by violently swinging the stick near their heads.
According to the feds ... Foy was one of the "most violent" rioters, and allegedly hit police officers guarding the doors at least 10 times with the hockey stick, swung at them, hit them in the face and neck, then rallied other rioters before busting into the Capitol.
A federal judge denied Foy bond this week ... so, for now, he'll remain behind bars until trial.
Foy -- a former marine -- was arrested on Jan. 21 at his home, after the FBI reportedly tracked him down through his father's Facebook page. The bond hearing judge said the video strongly suggested Foy brought the hockey stick to use as a weapon.
Foy's lawyer argued the stick was intended to be used as a makeshift flag pole ... but that did not fly with the judge.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Won't Work with Ted Cruz ... 'You Almost Had Me Murdered'
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to reach across the aisle to fix the Robinhood investors controversy -- as long as she doesn't have to work with Sen. Ted Cruz, who she says he tried to get her killed.
AOC blasted Cruz on Twitter after he agreed with one of her Thursday tweets questioning Robinhood's trading halt amid the GameStop stock surge ... she says he needs to sit this one out or resign because of his role in the failed coup.
In her scathing response, AOC says Cruz "almost had me murdered 3 weeks ago" during the insurrection ... and she's happy to work with "almost any other GOP that aren't trying to get me killed."
Remember ... AOC said she thought she was toast when Trump supporters stormed the Capitol in search of lawmakers, detailing her harrowing experience in an eye-opening video.
AOC's been going in on Cruz and other Republicans who sowed doubt about the election results before and after the siege ... and it's obvious there's still bad blood.

Homeland Security First Ever National Alert For Domestic Terrorism Threats
The feds are putting the entire country on high alert ... warning of a looming domestic terrorism threat from groups pissed about President Biden's victory and several other issues.
For the first time, the Dept. of Homeland Security issued a federal bulletin about Americans plotting to attack Americans, saying there's a potential threat of "ideologically-motivated violent extremists."
The feds feel these domestic terrorists may be emboldened by the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol -- and say threats across the country are likely to persist in coming weeks motivated by several issues ... including anger over COVID-19 restrictions and the 2020 election results.
For example ... there's a full-on manhunt right now for a person who left pipe bombs intended to be detonated at the Democratic and Republican headquarters in Washington just days after the insurrection.
Most recently, a Napa man was arrested after authorities were tipped off about a huge stockpile of firepower at Ian Benjamin Rogers' house and business. They found more than 50 guns, 15,000 rounds of ammo, several pounds of gun powder ... and text messages in which Rogers said he'd like to blow up a democratic building.
For what it's worth ... Rogers' attorney reportedly said his client was "simply following the advice and the commentary of the President of the United States."

Tory Lanez Megan Thee Stallion Can Talk About My Case ... So, Why Can't I?!?!
-
Exclusive

Megan Thee Stallion recently sounded off about Tory Lanez allegedly shooting her, and now he wants to level the playing field, and speak his mind.
A judge had ordered Lanez to keep his lips sealed about info he gets from prosecutors in his case, and also barred him from contacting Meg on social media -- but in a new court filing he says that's totally unfair.
In the docs, Lanez says it's unfair Megan is able to say whatever she wants ... while he is basically prevented from defending himself.
Lanez says he is particularly miffed about what went down last week, when erroneous reports began circulating that the charges against Tory were dropped.
Megan responded on social media, saying ... "AT THIS POINT IM GETTING ANNOYED! STOP BELIEVING EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE MF INTERNET. Imagine how I feel waking every day seeing people LIE and turn my trauma into a joke? That whole team figures out ways to create doubt with my story every week and the media eats it up."
According to Lanez ... Megan falsely insinuated he and his legal team had something to do with the bogus reports, therefore maligning their integrity.
Megan also commented, "I can’t wait until the MF FACTS come out! Bitch you shot me AND MY STORY NOT CHANGING AND BITCH YOU GOING TO JAIL."
According to the docs, Lanez claims there's evidence refuting Megan's side of the story -- including "evidence of gunshot residue implicating others" -- but because of the protective order ... he's not able to disclose any of it.
Tory's also worried about optics -- in the docs he worries his silence might make it look like he's conceding what Megan says is true. So, he's asking the judge to modify the gag order against him.
As we've reported ... Megan has remained steadfast that Tory shot her in July after they left a party. Though Lanez initially seemed to issue a public apology in September by saying, "I was too drunk" ... he later denied it.

President Trump Pardons Lil Wayne, Frees Kodak ... Weezy Gives Thanks

7:43 AM PT -- 1/21 -- Tunechi's publicly showing appreciation for his pardon, tweeting ... "I want to thank President Trump for recognizing that I have so much more to give to my family, my art, and my community."
Lil Wayne also thanked his lawyer for "working so diligently to secure another chance for me."
5:16 AM PT -- Lil Wayne and Kodak Black's attorney, Bradford Cohen was working behind the scenes for a while to lobby for both men's clean slate.
Cohen tells TMZ ... Wayne reached out to him shortly after he was slapped with gun charges in 2020, as they'd previously known each other over the years. Cohen got right to work, filing pardon paperwork for Weezy -- and largely relied on the argument that LW was being unfairly charged, considering he was a non-violent felon with just one previous conviction ... for which he served a great deal of time behind bars.
As for Kodak, Lord knows the guy was lobbying for his client for the longest time now -- and while Trump's staff noted Kodak's charitable work in their official reasoning ... Cohen tells us there were other factors at play too.
Cohen says he highlighted Kodak's horrible treatment while behind bars -- some of which we've documented ourselves -- as well as the fact that Kodak was being treated as a serious threat in a maximum security facility, when really ... he was convicted for a relatively low-risk crime over paperwork. Remember, Kodak was due to get out of prison no earlier than 2022 ... but Trump saw to it that the dude be sprung ASAP, noting he'd completed a good portion of his sentence.
President Trump came through for Lil Wayne with a full pardon that gets him off the hook for a gun charge that could've meant serious prison time, and rapper Kodak Black also got clemency with a commutation of his sentence.
Wayne's pardon announcement included a statement of support by Brett Berish of Sovereign Brands, who described him as "trustworthy, kind-hearted and generous." The pardon statement then reads, "Mr. Carter has exhibited this generosity through commitment to a variety of charities, including donations to research hospitals and a host of foodbanks."
Deion Sanders, also a supporter of the pardon, referred to Lil Wayne as "a provider for his family, a friend to many, a man of faith, a natural giver to the less fortunate, a waymaker [and] a game changer."
Weezy's pardon came just hours before the sun set on Trump's Presidency ... and it's just one of a stack of pardons, including Kodak Black. Black, who was sentenced to 46 months in prison for making a false statement on a Federal document, served nearly half his sentence.
The pardon statement notes he has been charitable in various ways, "such as providing educational resources to students and families of fallen law enforcement officers and the underprivileged." It goes on to note KB has provided funding to daycare centers, helped with food banks and worked with underprivileged children. And, the statement notes Kodak donated $50k to Dave Portnoy's Barstool Fund, which provides financial assistance to struggling businesses in the wake of COVID.
Wayne endorsed Trump in the final days of the 2020 election campaign -- posing for a photo, talking up Trump's criminal justice reform efforts and his proposed "platinum plan" to benefit the Black community.
With the pardon ... Weezy no longer has to worry about his federal gun case. As we reported ... he pled guilty in federal court last month to illegally possessing a loaded weapon while traveling to Miami on a private jet a year earlier.
He hadn't been sentenced, but faced the possibility of up to 10 years. That's all in Wayne's rearview mirror now.

Napa Man Arrested Huge Stockpile of Guns & Weapons ... Cops Say
-
Exclusive Details
- 1.7K shares
A Napa man was hoarding an absurd amount of guns and bombs fit for a small battalion ... so claim cops anyway, who busted the guy on a ton of weapons charges.
44-year-old Ian Benjamin Rogers was arrested Friday by the Napa County Sheriff's Office after they were tipped off about a huge stockpile of firepower at his house and business.
What deputies say they found is incredible, and not in a good way either -- more than 50 guns (several of which were unregistered/illegal), over 15,000 rounds of ammo and several POUNDS of gun powder.
Not only that, but the cops also claim they found 5 pipe bombs in Rogers' safe -- which were later rendered safe by NCSO's bomb squad.
Rogers was taken in and booked on multiple felony charges -- including possession of destructive devices or explosives, possession of an assault weapon, and more. One other thing too ... NCSO tells us Rogers was making "politically motivated" comments during their interview with him, but wouldn't elaborate on what was said.
Napa County officials say that because of the nature of what they found, they're alerting state and federal authorities. We're told the FBI is now assisting with the case.

Capitol Police Many Cops Scared, Angry Dept. Hasn't Given Clear Policy on Deadly Force
-
Exclusive
- 1.2K shares
As Joe Biden's inauguration looms -- and as many expect civil unrest -- a number of the Capitol Police's rank and file fear they won't be supported by leadership if they have to use deadly force to protect themselves.
Capitol Police sources tell TMZ ... there's been a lot of chatter lately about officers tasked with guarding the Capitol come Wednesday and whether they're allowed to use deadly force if push comes to shove ... and if so, will they be backed by the Department?
Our sources say the issue came up at a roll call meeting last week, where one USCP officer asked his sergeants in the room, if they find themselves in a life or death situation -- like several cops did on Jan. 6 -- can they do whatever it takes to save their own lives, including the use of deadly force?
And, just as important ... would USCP brass have their backs in the aftermath? We're told the answer they got was NOT reassuring -- more of a wishy-washy response that catered more to optics and the need to accommodate peaceful protesters. In other words, the answer they got was vague and, many say, unhelpful.
There've been several suspensions, firings and resignations from the fallout Jan. 6. Some of the rank and file feel they've been made scapegoats ... and much of the discipline was unfair. All of this, we're told, has negatively affected morale.
It's not lost on the officers that they lost one of their own during the insurrection -- Brian Sicknick, who suffered a fatal injury. And, they heard the story of the officer who was dragged down Capitol steps and beaten. These cops want a clear policy on the right to use lethal force.
The clock is running out, and many of the officers are worried, scared and confused.

Patrick Warren Shooting Death Son Had No Idea Armed Cop Would Come ... And Shoot His Dad Dead
-
Exclusive

The son of Patrick Warren -- the man with mental health issues who was shot and killed by a cop this month -- says he felt betrayed when the officer arrived, because he didn't want an armed police officer dealing with his dad.
Patrick Jr. appeared on "TMZ Live" Monday ... where he talked about the horror of watching his father die in front of the entire family.
As we reported, the family called 911 the day before Patrick Warren was gunned down. A mental health resource officer came out and talked to the man, who was outside praising God and would not come inside the house. The officer sat on the sofa, reasoned with Patrick and they then walked calmly to a car where the officer took the man to a hospital to get checked out. It was peaceful and successful.
Patrick Jr. says the next day they had a similar problem and he called the mental health unit again, expecting a mental health officer would return. Instead, Patrick Jr. says he saw an armed cop with a gun, who almost immediately escalated the situation.
Patrick Jr. says his dad was not violent either day, and he pleaded with the cop not to use his gun.
Sadly, Patrick Jr. says he has a little brother who also has special needs, but now he's afraid to call anyone for help.
He and his lawyer, Lee Merritt, want the cop who shot Patrick Sr. dead fired, arrested and charged.

Capitol Rioter 'Traitors Get Shot' ... Alleged Threat to His Kids
-

A Capitol rioter from Texas threatened to shoot his own children if they snitched on him to the feds ... at least according to the FBI.
According to his wife, Guy Reffitt told his son and daughter, "If you turn me in, you're a traitor and you know what happens to traitors ... traitors get shot" ... and it's all spelled out in an affidavit signed by FBI special agent Thomas Ryan.
In the affidavit, obtained by TMZ, the FBI agent says Reffitt was seen in restricted areas of the Capitol during the riots. Reffitt's accused of unlawful entry and obstruction of justice.
Reffitt's alleged threats didn't stop there, according to the feds ... he told his daughter he would "put a bullet" through her phone if she told friends her dad was at the Capitol.
Images of Reffitt from the insurrection show what appears to be a camera on his helmet, and the FBI says he admitted to his son he "stormed the Capitol" and told his family he had to scrub his Go-Pro footage from Jan. 6 because the FBI was on to him.
The guy's wife told the feds he's a member of a right-wing militia group, the Three Percenters, adding she didn't believe he would follow through with his alleged threats and was more disturbed by his extreme rhetoric.
The feds say Reffitt told agents he was at the Capitol but didn't go inside the building.

Capitol Rioters Planned to 'Capture and Assassinate' ... According to Prosecutors
The insurrectionists who breached the U.S. Capitol absolutely had murder on their minds ... according to federal prosecutors who want one of the most notorious rioters to remain in custody.
In docs, obtained by TMZ, the feds say there's strong evidence supporting that "the intent of the Capitol rioters was to capture and assassinate elected officials in the United States government."
That disturbing statement refers to the case of Arizona man and so-called "QAnon Shaman" Jacob Chansley -- the bare-chested rioter with animal horns and face paint who stormed into the Capitol.
Prosecutors say an FBI investigation revealed Chansley -- who was photographed standing at Vice President Mike Pence's desk in the Senate chamber -- also left a threatening note for the VP saying, "It’s only a matter of time, justice is coming."
The feds say Chansley's own words support the rioters' intentions were much more nefarious than simply occupying the Capitol Building, and warn that "the insurrection is still in progress."
Chansley is due in court Friday, and prosecutors argue he should remain detained because he poses a flight risk. As we reported ... he's facing charges of knowingly entering/remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Unarmed Black Man Fatally Shot by Cop ... Family Called for Psychiatric Assist
An unarmed Black man was shot and killed outside of his home in front of his family ... who say they called police to get him psychiatric help, but were told a mental health officer was not available.
Ring video doorbell footage captures the final moments of Patrick Warren's life, when a cop in Killeen, Texas responded to the family's call Sunday. In the video, the officer rings the doorbell and is briefly allowed inside the home, but then says he's going to walk back outside.
Attorney Lee Merritt, who's working with the family, says Warren told the officer to leave. Shortly afterward, Warren is seen walking outside toward the cop while waving his arms erratically. The officer tells him to stop and get on the ground, but Warren refuses.
As his family follows him outside, you can hear the sound of a Taser being deployed on Warren. Then, he gets up and continues to move toward the officer off camera ... who shoots his gun 3 times. A family member screams at the cop, "I told you don't use a gun!"
Warren later died at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center.
Merritt claims the family called the cops seeking a mental health officer when they noticed changes in Warren's behavior, but say they were told they didn't have one ... so they sent a regular police officer.
Merritt says the family "demands the immediate firing and arrest of the officer responsible for his death." The officer is currently on administrative leave while the Texas Rangers investigate the incident.

D.C. Metro Cop Capitol Rioters Yelled ... 'Kill Him With HIs Own Gun'
A D.C. Metro police officer says he went into "survival mode" after Capitol rioters reached for his gun and yelled, "Kill him with his own gun."
Officer Michael Fanone, a narcotics detective who normally works in plain clothes, says he threw on a uniform to help with backup during the Jan. 6 coup attempt. When the angry mob overtook him, he says he was tased several times in the back of the neck, and thought about using deadly force to get free.
He told CNN he ultimately decided not to, realizing he didn't have enough firepower to take on everyone ... and he didn't want to "give them the justification to kill me."
Instead, he says he tried to appeal to their humanity -- "I just remember yelling out that I have kids. And, it seemed to work." The moment some of the Trump supporters and his partner pulled him away to safety was captured on video.
What's more ... Fanone suffered a minor heart attack because of the ordeal and was taken to a Baltimore medical center to stabilize his heart's rhythm.

Fanone's had enough time to reflect on his nearly deadly confrontation, and offered these words to the rioters who helped him, "The conclusion I’ve come to is thank you. But f*** you for being there."

Biden Inauguration Airlines Ban Checked Guns ... Temporarily for D.C. Flights
Several airlines are taking added precautions to thwart more violence in D.C. leading up to Inauguration Day ... starting with a temporary gun ban.
Delta Air Lines is leading the charge by banning firearms in checked luggage for all passengers who are flying to D.C. area airports. The temporary gun ban begins Saturday and will last until January 23. Joe Biden will be sworn in on Jan. 20.
This is the text message Delta's sending to affected customers ... letting them know it will not be allowing firearms in checked bags "To help ensure the safety of customers and employees."
A Delta spokesperson adds that "Weighing the violence we witnessed in the Capitol last week" contributed to the decision. The temporary gun ban policy applies to flights going to the Ronald Reagan National Airport, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, Dulles International Airport and Richmond International Airport.
So far, United, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines have joined Delta in the gun ban, noting that like Delta ... law enforcement and military officials will be exempt.
Along with the temporary policy on firearms, major airlines have announced other heightened security measures for flights to D.C., such as selling fewer tickets, increasing staffing at airports, and relocating crew members to hotels outside of the downtown D.C. area.
Cleary, for the next week or 2 the airlines, like most of America, are on high alert.

Kyle Rittenhouse Stop White Power Symbols, Boozing ... Prosecutors Want Bail Conditions Changed

Kyle Rittenhouse -- the teenager charged with homicide in the Kenosha, WI killings -- needs to stop drinking and flashing white power symbols ... at least that's what prosecutors want.
The Kenosha County D.A.'s Office is asking a judge to modify Rittenhouse's bond conditions to bar him from boozing, going anywhere alcohol is served, making white supremacist hand gestures in public, or hanging out with groups like the Proud Boys ... according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.
In the docs, prosecutors claim Rittenhouse was hanging out with Proud Boys members inside a Wisconsin bar last week, with the Proud Boys serenading him and posing for pictures chock full of white power symbols.
However, Rittenhouse claims he's not a member of the Proud Boys, or any other white nationalist groups, and believes prosecutors are just trying to inject race into his case.
Remember ... Rittenhouse is charged with killing 2 protesters and wounding a 3rd during the civil unrest in Kenosha that exploded following Jacob Blake's shooting. He was 17 at the time, and video allegedly shows him shooting 2 of the 3 people before walking right past police. He's currently out of jail on $2 million bail.
Under Wisconsin law, Rittenhouse is able to drink alcohol if accompanied by a parent ... but prosecutors want to cut him off, claiming alcohol consumption "increases the likelihood of violent acts."

Jacob Blake Didn't Want to Be 'Next George Floyd' ... That's Why I Walked Away from Cops
Jacob Blake says George Floyd's death was front and center in his mind when confronted by the Kenosha PD pulled ... as he explains, in his own words, what went down when an officer shot him 7 times in the back.
Jacob told 'GMA' anchor Michael Strahan, "I resisted to getting beat on. What I mean by that is not falling, not letting them put their head on my neck. That's all I was thinking."
For the first time, Jacob revealed why he was walking around his car, away from the Kenosha PD officer, Rusten Sheskey. As you know, Sheskey opened fire last August when Jacob opened his driver side door. His 2 children were in the backseat, and Jacob says he was sure he was about to die.
"I said 'Daddy loves you no matter what.' I thought it was going to be the last thing I said to them. Thank God it wasn't. I didn't want to be the next George Floyd. I didn't want to die."
Jacob, who remains partially paralyzed, says he was not fleeing from police, and points out his hands were up ... even after they tased him. He believes the video of his shooting speaks for itself.
Last week, the D.A. announced Officer Sheskey would not be charged for shooting Blake, saying Sheskey had fired in self-defense. Jacob's attorney, Ben Crump, intends to sue Kenosha PD for violating Jacob's civil rights.
