Lil Wayne Concert Ends After Someone Screams 'Shots Fired'
A Lil Wayne concert in Atlanta erupted into pandemonium Sunday night after someone in the crowd screamed, "shots fired!"
Wayne was onstage performing at the Georgia Freight Depot during the second day of the A3C Festival when someone claimed to have heard the shots. There was immediate panic as people ran to exit the area.

Several people were trampled during the stampede. In all, about a dozen people suffered minor injuries.
Cops say there was no evidence of shots fired.
There's a reason this alarm triggered such panic ... you'll recall, Wayne's bus was shot up back in 2015.

Tekashi69 That's Not My Gun ... I Don't Even Own One!!!
Tekashi69 is already working on his defense after a gun turned up when federal agents raided his home ... and he sounds confident there's no way the feds can pin the firearm on him.
Tekashi's defense attorney, Lance Lazzaro, tells TMZ ... a gun charge would be a very difficult case to prove because the rapper doesn't even own a piece.
We broke the story ... Tekashi's Brooklyn home was raided by federal agents, assisted by the NYPD, last week and they discovered a gun. It's not clear what prompted the search, or who owns the recovered items.
Tekashi wasn't home when feds busted through the front door, and 6ix9ine claims he moved out weeks before the raid ... so his defense thinks it's gonna be hard to link anything to him.
We know Tekashi hasn't been in NY much over the past few weeks ... he was recording music in Colombia with Kanye West, and he had a show in Russia, where a fan got beat up by his crew.
We're told there's been several people in and out of the house recently, so the gun could belong to anyone.

We're told the "Magic Johnson Showtime Pop-Up Concert" at Mandalay Bay Beach will kick things off Tuesday, with performances by several big acts ... including Snoop Dogg. Our sources say Will Smith also recorded a congrats video that will air during the show.
MGM Properties is giving away 4,000 tickets for the event over the next few days to any sports or music fans interested in attending, and some of the recipients will be survivors of last year's mass shooting. But, that's not all -- we're told he has a special surprise for these guests.
To top it all off -- the Lakers take on the Warriors at nearby T-Mobile Arena on Oct. 10 for some NBA preseason action.
Should be a fun couple of days.

Lil Wayne Birdman Called Bus Shooter in Jail ... 'Come Out and Get Your Money'
3:42 PM PT -- A source close to Birdman says the phone call was in no way referring to the bus shooting. Even further, we're told Birdman doesn't believe Winfrey is the shooter ... and he would never associate with someone who tried to harm Wayne.
It's worth noting ... Winfrey's conviction was overturned in July due to biased conduct by the judge in his case. He's still in custody awaiting a new trial, or possibly a new plea deal.
The man convicted of shooting up Lil Wayne's tour bus took a jailhouse phone call from Birdman ... and it sounds like Birdman was congratulating him on a job well done.
The phone call was made while Jimmy Winfrey was incarcerated in Cobb County, GA. Winfrey would eventually be convicted and sentenced to 20 years, including 10 years to serve in prison and 10 years of probation, for shooting Weezy's bus in April 2015.
During the call Birdman says, "Time for you to come out here and get your money. You did everything you could do, boss."
The audio is shocking for several reasons, not the least of which being the fact Wayne and Birdman recently squashed their beef, and Wayne finally released "Tha Carter V."
The phone convo was uncovered as part of a separate civil lawsuit, filed by the tour bus driver, Alvin Lewis ... against Birdman and Young Thug. In docs, obtained by TMZ, Lewis says Birdman had promised Winfrey $250k and a Porsche. The intimation is the cash and car were payment for the shooting.
As we reported, the Cobb County D.A. is considering filing charges against Thug and Birdman for the shooting.

Chris Martin at Global Citizen Assures Crowd There's No Shooting ... 'You're All Safe'
A brief moment of panic broke out at the Global Citizen Festival in NYC when the crowd thought they heard gunshots, but Chris Martin came to the rescue ... by grabbing the mic to calmly explain it was just a barrier collapse.
WATCH: Chris Martin and NYPD Assistant Chief Kathleen O'Reilly explain that a fence barrier collapsed at #GlobalCitizen Festival; there were no shots fired: "You're all safe." pic.twitter.com/wiAbyMVjqh
@MSNBC
The Coldplay frontman got on stage Saturday Night in Central Park to address frightened people in the audience who had scattered or moved toward the back after thinking shots were fired.
He said ... "A barrier I think fell down; of course it caused people to be a little frightened and stuff like that, but nobody is trying to hurt anybody. You're all safe, okay."
Chris also got NYPD Assistant Chief Kathleen O'Reilly to reassure everyone that it was indeed a barrier fence collapse and nothing more ... and the show would go on as soon as they could get it fixed and ensure everyone's safety.
Good thing, because like Martin said ... Janet Jackson's up next!
Global Citizen Fest is a concert in support of social activism, with huge acts this year like Jackson, The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes, John Legend and as we reported ... Cardi B.

XXXTentacion Murder Captured on Surveillance Video
XXXTentacion's murder happened in plain view of surveillance cameras, and the haunting video was played in public for the first time Thursday during a Broward County court hearing.
The video shows X walking into the motorcycle dealership in Pompano Beach, FL ... and you see two of the suspects follow him into the building. Later, his BMW is stopped on the street by the gun-wielding suspects.
Surveillance cameras recorded what we'd already known -- that X struggled with his assailants before they opened fire at point-blank range. One of them actually walked around to the passenger side and got into X's car before fleeing the scene.
As we reported, the suspects made off with a Louis Vuitton bag and $50k in cash.
WPLG was in court as prosecutors played the video during a discovery and bail hearing for Robert Allen -- one of 4 suspects charged with the June murder of the rapper.

FYI, Southern University is also located in Baton Rouge ... about a 15-minute drive from LSU's main campus.

“Wayde Sims’ loss is simply unbelievable to us right now,” Joe Alleva, LSU's athletics director, added. “There are no words that can express our sorrow for his parents and family."

"Obviously, we're all still devastated and in shock about everything. But we're going to support Wayde's family and support our guys and slowly move forward from this."

Parkland Leader Cameron Kasky I Respect 'South Park' ... Even a School Shooting Episode
Student activist Cameron Kasky -- one of the survivors of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas -- appreciates "South Park" ... even when it satirizes the tragedies he and way too many other kids have gone through.
We got the Parkland leader in NYC Thursday and asked about Wednesday night's episode -- titled "Dead Kids" -- in which South Park Elementary is ravaged with multiple school shootings ... but nobody seems to care (other than Stan's mom).
Cameron says while he understands people might be offended by the subject matter, he actually thinks the show's creators did a great job addressing nationwide apathy to the school shooting epidemic ... and hopes it makes us take a look in the mirror.
Kasky also praised Trey Parker and Matt Stone for not portraying the violence or showing the shooter in the episode -- the chaos was framed as background noise -- and for not being afraid to tackle important social issues ... even if he doesn't always agree with them.
As for whether Cam would consider voicing a character on the show -- not gonna happen. He'll just continue to watch ... and appreciate their art.

Dallas Cop Amber Guyger Fired for Shooting Neighbor in His Apt.
Amber Guyger -- the Dallas police officer arrested for manslaughter after shooting and killing her neighbor in his apartment -- has been fired.
Guyger fatally shot Botham Jean earlier this month in his residence. In addition to being charged with manslaughter, the shooting triggered an internal affairs investigation. Dallas PD says they determined Guyger engaged in "adverse conduct" -- and she was officially fired Monday morning.
After her arrest, she told investigators she had come home at the end of her shift on September 6, and entered what she believed was her apartment. Guyger claims she walked inside, saw someone she thought was a burglar, drew her gun and opened fire.
Guyger was on the force since 2013. She can still appeal her firing.

Chief Keef Burglars Open Fire 2 Captured, 1 Gets Away
Chief Keef is damn lucky cops were in his neighborhood, and caught 3 alleged burglars red-handed -- but not before one of them opened fire ... TMZ has learned.
The suspects hopped a wall and threw bricks to break a window at the San Fernando Valley home Sunday around 11:15 PM ... according to law enforcement sources. We're told at least one of them got into the home, and was making off with some of the rapper's loot.
The bad news for the bad guys is LAPD had plainclothes officers patrolling the area due to the rash of burglaries lately. We're told cops intervened to thwart the burglary, and one suspect fired a shot -- which didn't hit anyone -- and then the chase was on. Officers nabbed 2 of the perps, but one managed to flee in a getaway car.
Keef, btw, was home during all of this. Cops went to the house and spoke to him afterward. We're told he had no idea the suspects had gotten into the home.
The 2 guys police captured are being booked on burglary and weapons charges. We're told cops recovered 2 guns.

Katt Williams Refusing to Cooperate in Gun Investigation
Katt Williams has gone radio silent with cops over his confrontation with an armed man ... so the chances any charges will be filed are slim to none ... TMZ has learned.
Cops tell us the investigation's still open, and police have reviewed surveillance footage as well as the video we obtained showing radio DJ Wanda Smith's husband, LaMorris Sellers, coming at him with a gun in hand outside the Atlanta Comedy Theater.
We're told investigators have reached out to Williams for more info, but he's not getting back to them. They even went to his house to talk ... but no luck.
On top of that ... we're told footage of the incident outside the club and neighboring grocery store doesn't show Sellers pointing a gun at Williams -- like Katt originally claimed.
Short story ... even if the comedian came forward to press charges ... we're told there's probably not enough evidence to move forward and charge Sellers. But, it's pretty evident Katt's not cooperating ... so the case won't go anywhere.
As we reported ... Sellers admitted he had a gun on him but denied ever pulling it on Katt, instead claiming it fell out of his waistband while he was chasing him.
Both Wanda and her hubby say Williams is the one who instigated the confrontation in the first place.

Suge Knight Strikes 28-Year Plea Deal in Murder Case
-
EXCLUSIVE
2:00 PM PT -- The plea deal was just unveiled in court, and Suge will get 28 years in prison after pleading no contest to voluntary manslaughter. The 53-year-old will get credit for time served -- he's been in jail awaiting trial for around 3 1/2 years. He'll also be on parole for 3 years after serving his prison sentence.
Suge's sentence is stiffer than a typical voluntarily manslaughter because he had a prior felony conviction in 1997. He also got an extra 5 years because the Carter killing was deemed a "serious and violent" felony. He got an additional year due to his truck being a deadly weapon.
Knight cracked a joke ... of sorts. Part of the judge's instructions to the defendant include a phrase about the possibility of deportation following conviction, to which Suge said, "So, ICE can come and get me." There was a smattering of laughter.
Suge Knight has struck a plea deal in his murder case ... TMZ has learned.
Several sources tell us the former Death Row Records exec will be in L.A. County Superior Court Thursday afternoon to enter a plea in the murder of Terry Carter. Knight had been facing the possibility of life in prison, and his trial was scheduled to begin Monday with jury selection.
We broke the story ... Suge ran over Terry back in January 2015 as he fled the Tam's Burgers parking lot in Compton. TMZ posted the surveillance video that showed Knight throw his truck in reverse, knock over one man, then drive forward over Terry ... killing him.
Knight had claimed he was not trying to run over either of the men he hit -- but merely trying to escape because he thought both men were about to shoot him.
Suge was arrested shortly after the incident and has been in jail ever since then, awaiting trial.

Katt Williams I'm Heading to 'Build-A-Bitch' ... Looking for a New GF!!!
Katt Williams is giving "cruising the mall for chicks" a whole new meaning.
We got the comedian at the Westfield Mall Wednesday in Culver City -- our photog, Charlie, was also there and happened to bump into him. He had to convince Katt he was a legit TMZ employee.
Anyway, it all got pretty hilarious when Charlie asked what Katt was shopping for in the mall. It wasn't clothes, shoes or accessories. Think Build-A-Bear ... but for adults.
You just gotta see how it played out, especially when some young fans walked up to Katt for a photo. Don't worry, he keeps it clean for the kids.
Katt's ripping a page from Lil Wayne's playbook -- 'cause he ain't got no worries days after getting chased by an angry, gun-toting husband in the ATL.
