UPDATE

According to the arrest report, Breeland told cops he is a "marijuana enthusiast" who simply likes to smoke ... the insinuation is that he denies being a drug dealer.

UPDATE

Cops also say Breeland "had a large amount of cash on him as well."

Cops say King admitted he was the shooter and he said, "he was attempting to see if the gun was on safety or not."

Willie says he's pretty sure whoever it was, they knew they were firing upon his place specifically, although he didn't elaborate on why beyond that. He also says his family saw the suspected vehicle drive by at least once before unloading in the middle of the day at 2:33 PM.

Bay Area Walmart Man Shot & Killed for Swinging Bat ... Cops Say Tasers Used First

Walmart 4/19/20
THE FATAL STANDOFF

A man wielding a baseball bat in a Bay Area Walmart was gunned down by police officers -- who claim they fired tasers first before a lethal shot, but video shows the guy was down.

The scene played out Saturday at a Walmart in San Leandro, just outside of Oakland and Alameda -- where cops were summoned after some guy started swinging a bat at people near the front entrance. When they arrived, they encountered him -- and it was all on film.

Check out the clip, which shows the moments leading up to the guy getting shot. He is, in fact, approaching the two officers with the metal bat -- and eventually, you hear a shot of some sort go off from the weapons they have drawn, which cops say were tasers at first.

The dude drops the bat and stumbles back, away from the officers. They follow him and you hear another shot, which makes the guy drop to the floor face first. You hear people freaking out after the second shot goes off, with someone screaming "No more!"

Eventually, as the cops approach the man's limp body, a third shot goes off, which causes people to scream even more. All the shots sound similar -- hard to tell which was the gunshot.

As for how the San Leandro Police Department is explaining the sequence of events, they say both officers deployed their tasers unsuccessfully, and finally ... one of them used their gun. If that's true, that would mean the first two shots were tasers here, and one of the cops shot the dude with a gun when he was on the ground ... and no longer an active threat.

It's unclear if the SLPD has seen the video, but fact is ... it doesn't look good.

We're told Simmons is a convicted felon, meaning he's prohibited from owning or possessing any firearms or ammo.

Playboi Carti Arrest Cop Says He Mouthed Off ... I'll Bang Your Daughter!!!

Playboi Carti went all Johnny Badass on a cop who pulled him over -- according to the cop, anyway, Carti dragged the deputy's daughter into it!!!

TMZ got a hold of the police report detailing Carti's arrest about a week ago in Clayton County, Georgia -- and cops say the rapper was mouthing off big time when a Sheriff's deputy pulled him over and smelled weed.

The deputy says he asked Carti to get out, and the bad attitude started right away. Carti allegedly told the officer to take him to jail and said he didn't even care anymore.

Upon conducting a search, the deputy says he found drugs and guns inside Carti's Lambo -- specifically, marijuana, Xanax, codeine and oxycodone and 2 handguns. Carti had a pal with him and cops arrested both of them ... but the trash-talking wasn't done yet.

According to the officer, Carti told him he'd "f*** my daughter" and that he had a hot wife. He also allegedly said he didn't give a damn about his exotic sports car, cause he'd just buy another one anyway.

In the end, Carti was booked for expired tags, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and failure to move over. His buddy ended up getting busted for the harder drug and gun possession charges.

Carti was released on bond shortly afterward.

NFL's Chris Johnson Accused in Murder-For-Hire Shootings ... Denies Allegations

Ex-NFL star Chris Johnson is accused of funding murder-for-hire shootings that left two men dead in 2016 -- this according to explosive court docs obtained by TMZ Sports.

FYI, Johnson has NOT been formally charged with a crime -- and ADAMANTLY DENIES THE ALLEGATIONS -- but officials are clearly laying out their case against the running back ... and it's compelling stuff.

Long story short, officials believe CJ2K rewarded a gang member with cash after the guy allegedly killed two men who were suspected of gunning down Johnson's friend in 2015.

Here's the backstory ... Johnson nearly died in a shooting in Orlando, Fla., back on March 8, 2015 ... when Orange County Sheriff officials say someone opened fire on a Jeep that Chris was in at around 4 AM.

Johnson suffered a bullet wound to his shoulder and made a full recovery ... but the driver of the vehicle, his friend, Dreekius Johnson, did not survive the attack.

In new court docs ... law enforcement officials say "intelligence gathered suggested [the shooting] was a gang related murder attempt on Chris Johnson."

Officials also say ... months later, a noted Florida gang member named Dominic Bolden shot and killed two men -- one on Jan. 19, 2016 and one on July 24, 2016 -- who were believed to be the shooters in the March 2015 incident.

In the court docs, officials claim an informant told them as a reward for Bolden's alleged actions ... Chris helped the guy become a leader of a famed drug trafficking organization (DTO) in Florida.

The informant told officials that Johnson supplied Bolden "with funds and an individual who could continually supply Dominic Bolden with as much narcotics as needed to supply the DTO."

The informant also told officials the "murder for hire elevated Dominic Bolden's rank, reputation and power within the DTO" -- eventually making Bolden the org's de facto leader.

At the time of the March 2015 shooting, Chris was tagged in a social media post that appeared to be a threat directed at the gunmen ... but Chris denied he was seeking revenge, saying, "I don't live that life."

In the docs, 34-year-old Johnson is also accused of helping with day-to-day operations of the DTO ... but court records show he has NOT been formally charged with any crimes.

We've reached out to prosecutors at both the state attorney's office and the attorney general's office in Florida for comment on the investigation ... but so far, no word back yet.

We also reached out to Chris -- and a rep for the former NFL star tells us he strongly denies the allegations ... saying, "There's no validity to any of these accusations."

Chris is considered one the NFL's most exciting players EVER -- recording 9,561 rushing yards in his 10-year career.

He famously earned the nickname "CJ2K" after rushing for 2,006 yards in 2009.

U.S. Law Enforcement Unfazed by Gun, Ammo Sales Spike ... Over COVID-19 Fears

Guns and ammo are flying off shelves everywhere as Americans seem to be prepping for a worst-case scenario, but, so far, cops are NOT worried about a spike in violence.

Law enforcement sources across the country tell TMZ ... officers aren't blinking at a record number of Americans -- 3,740,688 according to the FBI -- applying for background checks last month alone.

Cops in L.A. tell us, if people knew how many criminals are out there armed, they would not be worried about this current surge. If anything, cops tell us the biggest concern is whether all these new owners have safe places to store their weapons ... such as safes, gun lockers or lockboxes.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas Metro PD sources tell us they have no problem with people buying guns, as long as they're legal. They also hope new gun owners have had or will commit to proper training.

Cops in Miami echo that ... saying the rush of new sales is all good because they're getting background checks, instead of buying illegal guns off the street.

As we told you ... guns and ammo were flying off the shelves in Florida just hours after Gov. Ron DeSantis implemented a "stay at home" order. And remember that nearly 4 million figure from the FBI? It's the first time it's ever gone over 3 mil in a month since 1998 ... when the FBI started recording sales.

At this rate, the FBI and the National Instant Criminal Background Check System will perform more than 36 million background checks in 2020 ... easily beating last year's record of 28M. This, of course, doesn't mean everyone that applies for a background check will actually buy a gun ... but the numbers are startling, for sure.

But, in the words of Lil Wayne ... cops ain't got no worries.

Playboi Carti Busted in Georgia Drugs & Guns Found in Car

Playboi Carti's been arrested in Georgia on drug and gun-related charges ... TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement ... the "wokeuplikethis*" rapper got pulled over in his Lambo Thursday for having an expired tag, and Clayton County officers claim they discovered the drugs and weapons in his vehicle during the traffic stop.

Our sources say Carti's ride was loaded with 12 bags of marijuana, xanax, oxycodone and codeine ... along with 3 firearms.

The rapper was arrested with another man and they were taken to the county jail.

Photos of the items seized during the stop were posted by the Clayton County Sheriff's Office.

Carti posted bond and was released Friday morning.
