The L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. has almost cracked a murder case involving YG's vehicle, and now they're asking for the public's help in solving the mystery.
TMZ broke the story back in July ... his SUV was involved in a high-speed chase through the streets of L.A. that ended in a deadly police shootout.
Police were originally called to apprehend a reckless DUI suspect in YG's Escalade. While they were chasing the suspect, deputies say someone in the SUV opened fire, killing a 65-year-old man on a bike.
YG told TMZ at the time, "I was nowhere near the scene of this incident and had been in a recording studio all day in Hollywood. I was there until after midnight on the Fourth of July and didn't learn of these events until after they happened."
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Sheriff's deputies have made progress in solving the case, but now they need people to come forward. Anyone with info is asked to call 323 890-5500.

White Settlement, TX Church Video of Gunman Opening Fire Leaks Armed Guard Shoots Back
1:02 PM PT -- The live stream video capturing the moment the gunman opened fire in the West Freeway Church of Christ has leaked, and it's incredibly graphic and disturbing.
In the footage, you see the gunman sitting of the side of the church with at least one other person on their right side. The shooter appears to already be wearing a cloak and hood as they stand up, walk from side-to-side and then pulls out a shotgun and fires off 2 rounds.
The bullet hits one man, and then fires again and hits another as the congregation panics and screams from the chaos. Everybody else either ducks or runs. We've cut out the actual shooting, but you can still see what happens right before and right after.
The armed guard fires one shot almost immediately and hits the gunman from afar. They go down and the guard approaches to make sure they wouldn't fire again, and then picks the weapon off the floor. It also appears at least two other people approach with their own weapons drawn as well.
People rush over to the two people who were shot and try to attend to them. They were hit at point-blank range.
12:26 PM PT -- Two people were killed as a result of the shooting, and one person is reported to be in critical condition. It appears the gunman was the one left alive.
Statement on shooting at West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement: pic.twitter.com/Crrrvavvs6
— Gov. Greg Abbott (@GovAbbott) December 29, 2019 @GovAbbott
Texas Governor Greg Abbott confirmed the deaths in a statement, while going on to thank those who acted and prevented further loss of life.
A gunman opened fire during a church service in Texas this weekend, but was quickly met with bullets coming from across the room ... and the moment was captured on camera.
The shooting took place Sunday at the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, TX, near Fort Worth. It was being live streamed from the church's website, and still images of the gunman starting to shoot and everyone ducking were captured and spread online.
In the screenshot, you see the shooter in one corner of the room holding what appears to be a semi-automatic weapon of some sort, while wearing a dark coat with a hood. As they aim at the crowd, a security guard across the way lifts his own weapon and fires.
The live-stream has since been removed, and the church's site is down at the moment.
According to reports, the gunman was actually sitting inside during the service and stood up with his firearm as communion was being distributed. The exact weapon has reportedly been described as an apparent rifle or a shotgun. Motive remains a mystery for now.
At least three people were shot in the gunfire, including the gunman. It's unclear if there are any fatalities at this point, but the situation was swiftly subdued ... and countless lives were undoubtedly saved. No word yet on who the victims might be.
Sunday's shooting has echoes of the 2017 mass shooting in Sutherland Springs, TX ... where a gunman killed 26 people after storming the First Baptist Church. On his way out, he was fired upon and chased by nearby bystanders, and died shortly thereafter.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's Wish Bone says one of these days he's gonna shoot Krayzie Bone -- not to kill, but just to get even for a caper gone wrong from their younger days.
We got Wish Bone, Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone and Flesh-n-Bone at LAX and asked them about Bizzy Bone's wild story about the time Krayzie shot Wish in the leg while they were riding around in a stolen car.
Krayzie chalks up the bloody mishap to doing dumb stuff back in the day, but Wish says he's been plotting his revenge for years.
There's no beef, it's just part of the brotherhood ... to them, anyway. Wish tells us he's gonna shoot Krazyie in the fleshy part of the leg with a .22 -- and Krayzie says he'll, pardon the phrase, bite the bullet and let it happen ... with one condition.
Layzie also chimes in with his own hilarious version of what happened ... telling us why he thought the fellas were drunk when the robbery took a turn for the worse.
Crime doesn't pay, and it also hurts like hell. Just ask Krayzie!

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says the father left the scene in a 4-door sedan ... possibly a Honda Accord. He still has not been apprehended or publicly ID'd.
Cops are combing surveillance footage and want to speak to both the 13-year-old and his father in connection to the shooting.

Chris Pratt Oh Shoot, I'm Hit!!! Films Wild Gun Scene in ATL
Chris Pratt came under heavy fire -- or at least his character did -- while filming scenes for his next movie ... and, spoiler alert, the star gets shot!!!
Chris and a few of his costars were filming Monday in Atlanta for the action sci-fi thriller, "The Tomorrow War" ... and this particular scene is intense! Chris gets pinned down during a gun battle, but he ain't too successful at escaping danger.
The video's pretty wild ... CP goes down in a heap. No way to tell if it's a fatal shot, but definitely looks like more than a flesh wound.
The plot for the movie, which also stars J.K. Simmons and Yvonne Strahovski, calls for some time travel, so don't worry ... we don't think we've blown the ending.
One thing's for sure ... Chris has gotta be grateful for the well-placed safety mat that cushioned his fall.

Post Malone Movie Gun Battle with Jason Statham ... Action on Set!!!
Post Malone's already racking up hit songs and awards, but now he can hang his cowboy hat on something else -- getting shot at in a movie by a huge action star.
The "Circles" singer is getting deeper into the acting world, starring opposite none other than Jason Statham. Based on these pics from the set it looks like Jason's a cop trying to take down Posty.
They were filming Wednesday in L.A. on the set of a film directed by Guy Ritchie. Josh Hartnett also stars in the flick. This scene looked like a real run-and-gun shootout between Post and Jason.
The movie's plot follows a "cold and mysterious character working at a cash truck company" ... and it looks like Post's character has made the bold decision to mess with him.
This isn't Post's first acting role -- he's set to make his debut alongside Mark Wahlberg in the upcoming Netflix movie, "Wonderland." He also has a voice credit in "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," which he also contributed to with his hit song "Sunflower."
Post and Swae Lee just performed the soundtrack hit at GQ's after-party last week, and he got pretty sentimental about it.
Just a tip for the rapper-turned-actor ... NO crying in action movies. Unless, of course, ya get shot.

Jason Aldean Back in Vegas ... First Concert Since 2017 Shooting
Jason Aldean made a triumphant return to Sin City -- playing his first concert there since the 2017 massacre that left 58 dead ... and wounded hundreds more.
The country singer performed Friday night at the Park MGM, which marked the first of three headlining shows he's putting on as part of his brief Ride All Night residency. Seeing how it'd been 2 years since Jason got on stage in Vegas ... he made sure to address the situation.
A few songs in, JA paused to shout out anyone who might've been there from his 2017 performance at the Route 91 Harvest Festival ... calling them "family." He also mentioned it was his first time back since then but didn't explicitly discuss the shooting.
He did make a promise though ... saying he came back to "blow it out" for the crowd, and finish what they'd started at Route 91. The audience absolutely ate it up.
At the end of his set, Jason covered Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down" -- which lots of folks took as a nod to the tragedy and a sign of resilience. He's got 2 more shows this weekend.
You'll recall ... the initial shots Stephen Paddock fired rang out in the middle of Jason's set two years ago during the outdoor country music festival. At first, he didn't seem to notice ... but was quickly whisked off stage once it became clear what was happening.
Paddock was holed up in his room at the nearby Mandalay Bay hotel and had an arsenal of rifles with him ... several of which he'd modified to shoot like semi-automatics. He broke windows in his suite and fired down below at the concertgoers ... causing a blood bath.
He shot himself in the head as cops made their way up to his suite. The FBI was never able to determine a definitive motive for his actions.

3:17 PM PT -- Pryor just posted a full-body shot showing the area affected by the stabbing ... and you can see the guy required some serious work to close the wounds.
Terrelle Pryor was just wheeled out of the Intensive Care Unit -- SMILING -- with a bandage over the wound where he was stabbed in his chest ... and it's all on video.
"Thanks for all the support," the NFL player said on his way out of ICU ... "I'mma be aite."
Pryor notes that he "had to be coded twice" -- which is usually hospital slang for an emergency effort to resuscitate someone having a life-threatening medical episode.
You can see a bandage on Pryor's right chest area.
As we previously reported, Pryor underwent emergency surgery on Nov. 30 after he was stabbed in the chest in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, Shalaya Briston.
Seems Pryor got along with the nurses and staff in the ICU -- writing, "Left trauma ICU for the first time. Had to say by to my girls."
In the footage, Pryor invites the staff to come visit him "upstairs" -- which we assume means he's being moved to a different part of the hospital while he continues to recover.
Once Pryor is healthy enough to leave the hospital, cops tell TMZ Sports he'll have to surrender to police to be booked for misdemeanor assault for his alleged role in the incident with his GF.
As for Briston, she's been charged with aggravated assault and attempted homicide, and is currently behind bars.

NFL's Antonio Callaway Witness In Tragic Miami Shooting ... Disturbing Video Shows

NFL wide receiver Antonio Callaway was mere FEET from gunfire in Miami in which a woman was shot ... and the whole incident was captured on video.
22-year-old Callaway -- who was cut by the Browns in Nov. after failing a drug test -- was part of a large crowd of people watching a street fight between two women Sunday night when shots rang out.
Unclear why the women were fighting or why Callaway was there ... but people in the crowd seemed excited about the brawl with one woman live streaming the incident on Facebook.
But, after the fight, as people were leaving, multiple shots rang out and the woman who was live streaming drops her phone.
We've confirmed the woman recording is being hospitalized in the ICU at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The Miami Police Dept. is investigating the shooting -- but so far, no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified.
As for Callaway's involvement, we've reached out to his reps for comment and we're waiting to hear back.
Callaway was a stud WR during his freshman year at the University of Florida -- but was suspended in 2016 and 2017 for various reasons including an allegation of sexual assault (though school investigators found him "not responsible" for the incident and was allowed back on the team).
Callaway left UF in 2017 and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the 4th round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
