Jose Canseco's daughter, Josie -- a Victoria's Secret model -- is firing away at her critics ... insisting she never received a leg up, at least monetarily, from her dad or anyone else in her family.

Josie unleashed on her haters in a series of Instagram posts on Monday morning ... claiming to be entirely self-made.

It's unknown what was exactly said to her or about her that set her off -- but she clearly wanted to let everyone know that despite her dad's huge MLB career, she grew up far from wealthy.

"Everyone claiming I came from all this rich money because I'm a 'canseco' do ur research," the 26-year-old said. "My 'family money' was blown by the time I was 6/7 w bankruptcy n I had to work my ass off to not only sustain my 'family name' but also pay my bills cause no one paid that s*** except me."

Josie said there were times in her life when she was in debt, barely making $100 a week, and living in tiny New York apartments packed with models.

"My family is broke," she said, "and I dont get the advance of a family that was rich."

Josie did acknowledge she has "been graced with a privilege of being born within a family that earned what they earned" -- though she added, "I really went through that s*** n busted my ass the traditional way."

FYI -- Jose reportedly made over $40 million in his 17-year MLB career. He filed for bankruptcy back in 2012.

Victoria's Secret hasn't hosted its annual fashion show in years, but it's coming back soon ... except now -- brace yourselves, cancel culture vultures -- it might return in a "woke" form.

Indeed ... the news came down Friday in an earnings call for the company, where CFO Timothy Johnson announced VS was bringing back their Angels to hit the runaway again -- this after a 4-year hiatus -- only this time around, the look and feel will be different.

Johnson is quoted as saying, "We're going to continue to lean into the marketing spend to invest in the business, both at top-of-funnel and also to support the new version of our fashion show, which is to come later this year."

The company further said their new "brand projection and mission" will be their guiding light -- although it's unclear what exactly that is. VS adds, "This will lead us into new spaces like reclaiming one of our best marketing and entertainment properties to date and turning it on its head to reflect who we are today. We're excited to share more later this year."

Considering Victoria's Secret has been mired in controversies for the past few years -- with everything from alleged toxic, misogynistic work environments being fostered to execs being tied to Jeffrey Epstein and a general convo about modern beauty standards -- it's probably a safe bet to assume that Victoria's Secret is aiming to be more inclusive going forward.

We've already seen VS change up the types of women they employ as models ... they've brought on transgender women and even women with disabilities onto the roster. With that said, it's not quite clear what folks can expect to see on the runway from here on out.

While it remains to be seen when this is all gonna roll out, it seems the days of old are done. The 2017 and 2018 VS fashion shows can be seen here ... where the ladies are adorned in the traditional bra/panties/wings getups. That might be getting scrapped too.

If that comes to pass -- namely, losing the scantily-clad outfits -- it'll be interesting to see how VS finds the right balance in representing their models ... and more importantly, their products. Fact is, they're a lingerie company ... and they gotta move merchandise somehow.

Of course, we are living in a time of body positivity and all ... so maybe they'll just trot people across the stage from all walks of life and continue to bare it all. Time will tell.

Anyhoo, old VS was fun while it lasted -- and certainly introduced us to some mega stars who, hopefully, stand the test of time. In any case, sentiments are a-changing, folks.

Adam Levine says the IG model who claims she was manipulated into having a year-long physical relationship with him is full of it ... though he admits he "crossed the line."

Adam tells TMZ, "I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life."

He goes on ... "In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family."

And he says ... "My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together."

Sumner Stroh laid it all out on TikTok Monday morning -- just a few days after Adam's wife, Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo, announced their 3rd pregnancy.

Sumner claimed she was tricked into having an affair with the singer ... saying it happened at a point when she was young and naive -- adding she now feels exploited.

She even showed alleged screenshots where he messaged her after months of radio silence ... writing, "Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s [a] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious."

The Internet blew up over the claims ... with Adam trending on Twitter. Some were buying it, while others suspect Sumner of chasing clout.

Adam and Behati have been together since 2012 -- they did split briefly in May 2013, but announced their engagement a couple months later.

Toni Breidinger is ditching the racing jumpsuit for some lingerie -- not only is she a speed freak, she's now a Victoria's Secret model, too!!

The 23-year-old ARCA Series star announced her exciting off-track pursuit on Wednesday ... saying she is officially joining the undie company family.

Breidinger isn't just happy about the new gig, she says it's also a major accomplishment in getting over something she's struggled with since she was a child.

"Little me is crying," Breidinger said on Instagram. "Growing up I struggled a lot with body confidence. this past year I focused on my mental and physical health over appearance."

"I'm honored to be part of @victoriassecret family. Thank you for letting me feel confident in my own skin!🤍"

The first black transgender Victoria's Secret Model, Emira D’Spain, has just done a little tune-up on herself ... getting a Brazilian butt lift just before summer kicks off.

Emira was in NYC last week where she underwent the minimally invasive BBL, along with liposuction of the abdomen and waist with fat transfers to the butt.

She tells us, she's always been insecure about her lower stomach, especially after dropping 30 lbs, but now, "I finally have the curves I’ve always wanted."

Dr. Ryan Neinstein, who specializes in modern body sculpting techniques tells us Emira had light sedation for the procedure which allows a quicker recovery because she's on the go and doesn't have a lot of time to waste.

We're told the procedure cost Emira around $20k and she's fine with that ... Dr. Neinstein says with diet and exercise she wouldn't be able to achieve the bikini body look she wanted, so this got her over the hump just in time for her next VS photo shoot.

In case you didn't know, back in 2020 Emira became the first Black transgender model to work with Victoria's Secret as a part of their Valentine's Day social campaign.

The first Victoria's Secret model with Down's syndrome is on a roll, because we've learned she's just signed another huge deal with a major beauty company, and she's especially happy she's becoming an inspiration for others who face similar challenges.

Sofia Jirau just shared the news with us -- she's entered into a partnership with L'Oréal Caribe in Puerto Rico!!!

Sofia tells us she'll model and promote 4 products for the brand -- makeup, hair, fragrances and skincare. She'll work with both her team and the team over at L'Oreal to work on brand strategy and the best way for her to push the products.

The partnership makes a lot of sense, Sofia says she loves hair, makeup, taking photos ... and the rollout will also happen on her social media pages.

Sofia says, "I feel happy and proud for me and for all the girls around the world that now can dream without limits."

Sofia has certainly had a big week ... Victoria's Secret announced Wednesday that she was their first model with Down's syndrome as part of the more inclusive "The VS Collective."

Victoria's Secret is doing both a good thing and kind of a dumb thing by replacing their "Angels" with strong female ambassadors ... so says noted Fenty model Slick Woods.

We got Slick -- who's famous for her preggo catwalk in 2018, and giving birth shortly thereafter -- out and about Friday night near Hyde in WeHo ... this during an UOMA Beauty event by Sharon Chuter. Good setting to talk fashion and sex appeal, no doubt.

Of course, our cam guy had to bring up VS's decision to rebrand themselves with new spokeswomen -- including Megan Rapinoe and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, among others -- while also doing away with their winged models, seemingly for good. Slick's take is ... interesting.

Check out her answer for yourself -- at first, she seems to be against the move ... wisely noting that, despite all the progress we've made as a society, sex sells at the end of the day.

BTW, that's not necessarily a bad thing either ... according to Slick, anyway. She says if you use that primal truth for good causes -- like what Victoria's Secret appears to want going forward -- then it's simply a means to an end. She's got a great example about getting people's attention.

We're not trying to put words in SW's mouth, but she *seems* to be saying what VS is doing with this new crop of women might not be the most effective way to get asses in seats for their goals big picture, in a manner of speaking. Then comes the curveball.

Talk about the ultimate flex ... Giancarlo Stanton showed off ALL of his muscles in front of smokin' hot model Adriana Lima -- BY BENCH PRESSING HER!!!

The video of the Yankees superstar in the gym is insane ... he laid down on his back, grabbed Lima by the legs and the armpit -- and benched her AT LEAST 4 times!!!

It's unclear why a normal barbell and plates weren't enough for the outfielder ... but Lima sure seemed to dig it -- the supermodel was smiling the whole time!!

Shanina Shaik now REALLY has a reason for celebrating in 2020 ... she can finally count down the days until she's officially divorced.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the Victoria's Secret model will officially be single and dunzo with DJ Ruckus on January 23 after the judge signed off on their settlement.

TMZ broke the story ... the model filed for divorce last July. They had been together from April 28, 2018, until June 25, 2019, the date of separation she listed. She cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce docs, and requested spousal support. They don't have kids together, so no child support issues.

Now, it's unclear if Shanina got what she requested -- we know they had a prenup, but the terms of their settlement are being kept under wraps.

No word if Shanina's planning to celebrate with a giant slice of pie. Her official single day, January 23, is also National Pie Day.

Stella Maxwell can rest easy -- at least for the next 5 years -- because the man who allegedly threatened to rape her and set her house on fire has just been ordered to stay clear of her until 2 Presidential elections from now.

The supermodel filed docs back in Oct. against Ruben Velazquez, whom she claimed threatened her on Instagram, and even showed up in person several times to her house.

As we reported, Velazquez allegedly sent horrifying messages like, "I'm thinking of burning your house" and referred to himself as her husband, saying, "we are going to f*** Stella." The messages allegedly continued, with lines such as "I will find you" and "I [will] leave you in a wheelchair."

He even allegedly sent her a pic of her own house, which he seemed to have taken himself -- standing just a few feet away.

Velazquez has also been charged with criminal threats and harassment.

Supermodel Stella Maxwell just got some much-needed protection ... from a man who allegedly threatened to rape her, shoot her and set her house on fire.

The Victoria's Secret model filed legal docs seeking a restraining order against a man named Ruben Velazquez, whom she claims has been showing up at her house uninvited and sending her crazy threats via Instagram for the past couple months.

Maxwell says he made several scary visits to her residence and sent her dozens of IG messages ... including a photo taken just a few feet from her house.

According to the legal docs, Velazquez also sent alarming messages like "I'm thinking of burning your house" ... "buy a shotgun with long range and leave you lame" and various messages referring to being her husband and saying, "we are going to f*** Stella."

Maxwell says the last message she got from him said, "I'm going to be a serial killer."

And, there's more ... "I will find you" and "You are going to have to kill me." As well as, "I [will] leave you in a wheelchair."

Miley Cyrus might've snatched up Brody Jenner's ex, Kaitlynn Carter, but he isn't batting an eyelash over it -- the guy's already found a new distraction ... one Josie Canseco.

Sources familiar with the new pair tell TMZ that Brody and Josie have been seeing each other as of late ... and that they seem like a good match for now.

We're told the Victoria's Secret model first met Brody during a 'Hills' press tour in New York, where they were introduced at a hotel party through Frankie Delgado and Brandon Lee -- both of whom are also on the hit reality show that was recently revived.

Our 'Hills' sources say Brody and Josie hit it off, and have been hanging out A LOT over the past few weeks, kissing each other and showing tons of PDA around friends. They seem to be taking things somewhat slow, we're told, but it's clear they're romantically involved.

Perfect timing, really ... Kaitlynn seems to be moving on with Miley ... who's apparently BEEN over hubby Liam Hemsworth for a while now.

Here's another thing -- our sources tell us even though Brody referenced Miley and Kaitlynn (and Liam too, cringey as it was) ... it's not a reflection on what's occupying his mind. We're told Brody's over Kaitlynn after their split and couldn't care less who she dates.

As for Liam -- who's been the most tight-lipped about all the drama out of everyone involved -- he piped up Monday in Australia, telling a pap he didn't wanna talk about it.

Karlie Kloss saying she left Victoria's Secret because the brand didn't match her feminist values is a load of crap ... so says model Cynthia Kirchner, who is calling out Karlie for getting it twisted. 

Cynthia -- a Victoria's Secret model alum herself, tells TMZ ... Karlie's wrong for sticking her nose up at Victoria's Secret since, ya know, it's what gave Karlie a platform. Check out the vid ... Cynthia also says Karlie's got feminism all wrong ... because female empowerment means women can choose how and where to show off their bodies. And, that includes Victoria's Secret.

ICYMI ... Karlie told British Vogue she left VS in 2015 because she "didn't feel it was an image that was truly reflective of who I am and the kind of message I want to send to young women around the world about what it means to be beautiful."

Karlie, who BTW is married to Jared Kushner's baby brother, Joshua, added, "I think that was a pivotal moment in me stepping into my power as a feminist, being able to make my own choices and my own narrative, whether through the companies I choose to work with, or through the image I put out to the world."

Shanina Shaik is done with her marriage to DJ Ruckus ... 'cause she wants a divorce just a year after getting hitched. 

The Victoria's Secret model just filed the paperwork Tuesday in L.A. County Court, asking a judge for a dissolution of marriage. She and Ruckus tied the knot last year, and have no kids together. 

It's unclear for now if she's asking for spousal support, but one thing that is certain ... she wants out. They officially separated last month, telling the media, "They move forward with much mutual respect and love for each other, and ask to please respect their privacy during this time." 

Shanina posted about her journey earlier Wednesday, captioning her photo, "Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations." Shanina and Ruckus got engaged in late 2015 while vacationing on Lenny Kravitz's private island.

BTW, don't confuse Shanina as a relative of Irina Shayk -- who also reportedly went through a major split with baby daddy Bradley Cooper earlier this year. 

Both attractive, both models, but completely different genes.
