Jax Taylor might be moving on ... hanging out with a mystery woman at a Los Angeles bar -- after separating from his wife of nearly five years Brittany Cartwright.

The reality star hit The Oaks Tavern in Sherman Oaks late Friday night with a group of friends -- including a woman he seemed to be getting pretty close with.

Check out the clip ... JT's trying to keep a low profile in the cap, but it's clearly him chatting away with friends and enjoying a couple drinks.

Tom Sandoval is sounding off on claims he "groomed" ex Rachel Leviss ... pointing the finger at Lala Kent for hitting him with the damning label in the first place.

The reality star addressed the allegations during Tuesday's part 1 reunion episode for "Vanderpump Rules" ... where Sandoval and his castmates broke down the season's biggest drama.

Of course, it didn't take long for the grooming allegations to surface ... which Sandoval slammed as "beyond f***ing slander" since Rachel wasn't underage when they had their affair. You can see he's pissed here, as he says that word "implies pedophilia."

Ariana Madix is on the outs with her "Vanderpump Rules" castmates, and it's all thanks to her cheating ex-bf Tom Sandoval ... or, at least, her continued reaction to his cheating.

The season 11 finale for 'VPR' aired Tuesday and it took a shocking turn ... with Ariana's costars turning against her for refusing to accept an on-camera apology from Sandoval.

Instead, Ariana walked out on production ... yelling at the show's executive producer for Sandoval intervening in a conversation she was having with Scheana Shay.

The reason ... our sources say Bravo and co. feel they need to give the cast a break and let their lives breathe a bit in the wake of Scandoval -- which has consumed much of the current season ... and which has run dry at this point.

According to real estate records, obtained by TMZ, Lala sealed the deal on the pad last month ... so now she's living it up in a gated estate with 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and 5,109 square feet of living space.

The living room is super cool, with double-height ceilings and skylights. The entire house has an indoor, outdoor vibe.

In terms of why this is happening -- our sources tell us Sarah is leaving because she took another job opportunity that she wanted to pursue ... and it just so happened to be shooting during the same time frame she'd be needed for 'LIUSA.'

Tom Sandoval's celebrating a milestone in a loud way ... blasting "Happy Birthday" on a trumpet -- and, we're told not everyone was diggin' it.

Check out the video, obtained by TMZ ... there's Tom, right behind the bar at Fox Fire -- a local Los Angeles hot spot -- gettin' the place to quiet down before lifting up the brass and playing the first few notes.

Some of the crowd gets into it, singing along to the beginnings of the tune ... but, our sources say some of the people closer to the back weren't loving the serenade -- seemingly annoyed with TS.

BTW ... we're told Tom was with a lovely lady at the bar -- unclear what their relationship might be, but Sandoval is one of the most eligible bachelors around.

Also ... unclear where Tom got the trumpet from -- but, we don't imagine he's lugging it around on a bar crawl. So, it's possible the bar had one, and it was just calling his name.

Obviously, Tom's super talented ... he's the frontman of a pretty popular cover band "Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras" -- so, he's just proving once again he's got that talent for music.

FWIW ... Tom's talked about playing his trumpet before -- saying playing it's always a deep, meaningful expression of himself. Some of his costars were less enthusiastic.
