'RHOA' star Phaedra Parks' ex-husband Apollo Nida has started a new chapter of his life ... getting married nearly 7 years after finalizing his divorce from the housewife.

Apollo and his new wife, Sherien Almufti, tell TMZ ... they got hitched October 14, 2022, during an intimate ceremony with close family and friends at a church in the Atlanta area.

The couple has kept their nuptials under wraps from the public until now. We're told Apollo's kids and ex-wife Phaedra all knew about the wedding, though they didn't attend.

Apollo says he and his ex-wife turned a leaf ... they're co-parenting much better now and there's no more bickering. In case you didn't know, there was a ton of drama surrounding their drawn-out divorce ... after they officially pulled the plug on their marriage in 2016.

As for Apollo and his new wife, they tell us they've reached a point in their lives where they wanted to take the next step and move on after first meeting about 10 years ago. Apollo got engaged to Sherien back in 2016 ... while serving time behind bars for cashing stolen checks and laundering more than $2 million.

While it may seem like an unconventional love story ... they say they've known each other for a decade, and their ups and downs have made them stronger.

Love is in the air at the WWE to start the new year ... because Superstar Ricochet just proposed to ring announcer Samantha Irvin -- and she said, "YES!"

The 34-year-old wrestler shared the good news on his Instagram page on Tuesday ... writing, "When you find that one person. The one person that when you close your eyes you could never visualize life without them… you keep them close to your heart."

"Now we are closer than ever. @samanthairvinwwe I love you so much."

Ricochet -- real name Trevor Dean Mann -- kept true to tradition when asking Irvin to be his future bride ... getting down on one knee to pop the question.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champ also posted a pic of his and Samantha's hands touching ... showing off the bling he got his future wife, a former "America's Got Talent" contestant.

The two began dating while working for the WWE -- they're on the same brand, Smackdown -- officially becoming an item in 2021.

And, the couple's love for each other has made its way into a storyline ... as a couple weeks ago, they kissed on an episode of Smackdown underneath WWE superstar Braun Strowman's mistletoe.

Michelle and Barack Obama have talked for years about a rocky period in their lives -- when she was shouldering way more than him when it came to raising their kids -- but she's never been this blunt, saying for a third of their marriage, she "couldn't stand" the ex-Prez.

The former first lady was on a panel courtesy of Revolt TV, talking about the struggles of raising a family and balancing a career, and here's what she said ... "People think I'm being catty saying this: It's like, there were 10 years where I couldn't stand my husband. And guess when it happened? When those kids were little."

She's talked before about how BO was often absent when he was a state representative commuting from Chicago to Springfield, Illinois. During the discussion, she said, "And for 10 years while we're trying to build our careers and, you know, worrying about school and who's doing what and what, I was like, 'Ugh, this isn't even."

Michelle talked about persistence in a marriage, and that some people give up too early ... "... guess what: 10 years -- we've been married 30. I would take 10 bad years over 30 -- it's just how you look at it. And people give up ... five years, I can't take it."

And, there was some faint praise, too ... "Do you like him? I mean you could be mad at him but do you still look at him and go, 'I'm not happy with you, but I respect you. I don't agree with you but you're still a kind, smart person.'"

Cher is either engaged, or trolling ... and we're not sure which it is, 'cause the rock she's showing off certainly looks like something you receive when someone wants to marry ya.

The singer posted a photo Sunday of a massive diamond ring that she says her boyfriend, Alexander Edwards, gifted her for Christmas -- and while it could certainly go on any finger ... there's a lot of speculation this might belong on THAT finger.

Unfortunately, Cher isn't giving a lot of hints here. All she wrote was, "THERE R NO WORDS, ALEXANDER,A.E." She then noted those are his hands holding the box.

Of course, the internet is flipping out over the fact Cher may be engaged again. She hasn't been married since Gregg Allman way back in the mid-to-late '70s, and obviously Sonny Bono before that. She's dated a lot of people since then ... including some pretty famous men like Gene Simmons, Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, Richie Sambora, Warren Beatty and others.

None of those relationships ever got to the point of marriage though ... and if she is, in fact, set to walk down the aisle with AE, it'd be pretty stunning -- especially since they've only been dating for a handful of months now.

Although we know they met in September, they only went public as a couple a month and change ago ... so a would-be proposal is clearly moving things along quickly, if that's what's actually going on. Then again, this could simply be a regular diamond ring ... right?

President Biden was persistent in his pursuit of Jill Biden's hand in marriage -- a story he told Drew Barrymore in a pretty long, dramatic fashion ... with a great payoff at the end.

During a stoppage at the Sixers/Clippers game Friday, there was a show where fans dressed in onesies. One of the folks on the hardwood was masked in a blue dog head.

The guy -- Chris Girard -- then revealed himself, got down on one knee and asked one of the 76er dancers -- Jackie Murtha -- to marry him!

At first it was unclear if she even knew the guy, but judging by the kiss ... she did. Turns out it's his GF and she said yes.

Now that's where the shade comes in. As they embraced folks started scoffing, saying she was way out of his league. Social media was predictable ... "You know this gorgeous lady is not gonna marry that dork, but at least she didn't embarrass him," and "Make-A-Wish doing adults now?"

Girard clapped back at his trolls ... “DEAR COMMENT SECTION: I KNOW SHE’S OUT OF MY LEAGUE. I AM JUST HAPPY TO BE HERE.”

President Biden has signed a bill into law that works to permanently protect same-sex and interracial marriages -- although the Supreme Court still might have something to say about it.

Dubbed the "Respect for Marriage Act," the bill codifies protections for married couples of all races and sexual orientations and requires the federal government to recognize these marriages in all 50 states ... which, for now, is already the law of the land.

The bill was passed in the House with a vote of 258-169 and in the Senate ... 61-36. Some Republicans got onboard for the legislation -- but far from a majority in either house.

To celebrate the occasion, the White House hosted an event on the South Lawn with several guests and even some music acts to help ring in the moment. Sam Smith, who identifies as nonbinary, was one of those artists who performed ... singing their hit "Stay With Me."

Cyndi Lauper, who appeared during Tuesday's press briefing, also took the stage for her classic song, "True Colors." There were a couple other acts, including a gay choir. Senator Chuck Schumer and Rep. Nancy Pelosi also delivered remarks, as did guest speakers.

During the signing ceremony, Biden called the move a huge deal for Americans everywhere, emphasizing the importance of being able to marry anyone you love, and the significance of having that right protected by law under the federal government.

The Respect for Marriage Act is meant to serve as a safeguard against possible reversals of key Supreme Court cases that weighed in on these issues in the past -- namely, 2015's Obergefell v. Hodges and, of course, 1967's Loving v. Virginia. The former promised gay couples the same marriage rights as heterosexual couples, and the latter did the same for interracial couples.

The bill was drafted shortly after SCOTUS' reversal of Roe v. Wade -- wiping away a federally-protected right to an abortion. There was then fear SCOTUS would go after Obergefell and Hodges too -- especially after Justice Clarence Thomas suggested cases like these needed another look as well in his controversial written opinion.

Drake isn't afraid to fall in love, and now he's got an insanely flashy piece of jewelry to prove it -- a necklace with 42 engagement ring diamonds -- for all the times he's wanted to propose.

Celebrity Jeweler Alex Moss tells TMZ ... Champagne Papi's new piece is called "Previous Engagements," a tribute to all the women Drizzy contemplated asking to marry him, but never went through.

In total, we're told the piece's 42 stones count for 351.38 carats in diamonds. On top of all the ice, it's made using 18K white gold and was set using the eagle claw technique.

Following the passing of the Respect For Marriage Act, House decided to no longer live in secrecy ... starting with announcing his engagement to boyfriend Ryan Neitzel.

Congrats are in order for Becky G and Sebastian Lletget -- the soccer star got on one knee and proposed to the singer on Thursday ... and she said, "YES!!!"

The couple shared the exciting news on Friday ... showing a picture of the FC Dallas midfielder getting on one knee and whipping out a massive diamond ring.

The Manhattan Beach location appears to have a significant meaning for the global pop star and athlete ... as she captioned the pic, "Our spot forever."

Paris Hilton's ex-boo Chris Zylka is taking a second run at the altar -- we've learned he got down on one knee for actress Hailee Lautenbach.

Sources tell TMZ ... Chris asked Hailee to be his wife a couple of weeks ago, as they were en route to the Seattle marathon -- in which Chris was supposed to be running in.

While driving, Chris told Hailee he forgot his bib and made her start heading back to their Airbnb. When she turned down a particular street that was beautifully lit up, we're told he asked Hailee to pull over and step out of the car.

She thought he just wanted to take the wheel, but instead got down and proposed. She said yes ... even though he didn't have a ring at the time.

Frankly, we see that as a sign of true love ... it wasn't about a diamond!

A few days later, Chris and Hailee -- who met working on the same film in 2020 -- told her parents, who offered up her grandmother's diamond for Hailee's engagement ring.

We're told the couple designed the full ring together after that.

As you know, Chris and Paris got engaged pretty fast back in 2018, with her saying "yes" a little less than a year after making things official. They called things off close to a year later, and Paris eventually tied the knot with Carter Reum.

The two-piece wedding suit Marilyn Monroe wore for her marriage to Joe DiMaggio is hitting the auction block ... and it's expected to fetch seven figures.

Marilyn's 'fit from the January 1954 wedding to the New York Yankees star will be offered to the public through Gotta Have Rock and Roll, and although it's one of her more conservative looks ... folks at the auction house think the winning bid will be spectacular -- somewhere between $1.5 and $2 million!

The historic clothing is a two-piece dark brown Serge wedding suit, with a white fur collar on the jacket.

Tiffany Trump seems ready to say "I do" in her dad's backyard this weekend -- and the ex-Prez was on hand to see his daughter through it to the end ... looking spiffy, no less.

As we reported ... Tiffany was granted a wedding license earlier this week, and now -- it looks like she's about to make good on it. They've been together since 2018, and got engaged in the Winter of 2021. She's the latest to get hitched in the Trump crew.

Porsha Williams has taken a major step forward with her engagement to Simon Guobadia ... and it looks like the couple is super serious about tying the knot.

The 'RHOA' alum and her fiancé got a marriage license back on August 19 in Georgia's Fulton County ... according to public records obtained by TMZ.

Porsha inadvertently showed her wedding dress on social media this week, shocking fans who weren't convinced she would actually walk down the aisle with Simon.

But now we know Porsha and Simon have a marriage license, which they need in order to get hitched, so it appears they really are headed for the alter.

As we reported ... Porsha and Simon got engaged back in May 2021 after dating for only a month, and his ex is one of Porsha's former costars, Falynn Guobadia.

'RHOA' fans know Porsha was previously engaged to Dennis McKinley -- with whom she had a child -- but they split before tying the knot. Her relationship history is a reason why followers of the show didn't think she would actually seal the deal with Simon.

According to the court clerk where Porsha and Simon got their marriage license, there is no expiration date on the document ... we're told the license has yet to be signed and returned to the office.

Donald Trump's ready to give his youngest daughter away in marriage, and had his game face on to practice walking Tiffany down the aisle at Mar-a-Lago.

The Trumps walked through the wedding rehearsal Friday at the former President's West Palm Beach resort ... where Tiffany's Saturday wedding to Michael Boulos will go down.

The father of the bride was pretty straight-faced while arm in arm with a smiling Tiffany.

Maybe he's saving his grin for the big day -- or he's still upset about the midterm elections, or at least, the coverage of them. Trump went on a social media rant Thursday, claiming mainstream media was incorrectly blaming him for certain GOP losses.

Politics aside, Tiffany's wedding party looks ready to go ... from what we can see she's going to have at least 4 bridesmaids.
