Cher is either engaged, or trolling ... and we're not sure which it is, 'cause the rock she's showing off certainly looks like something you receive when someone wants to marry ya.

The singer posted a photo Sunday of a massive diamond ring that she says her boyfriend, Alexander Edwards, gifted her for Christmas -- and while it could certainly go on any finger ... there's a lot of speculation this might belong on THAT finger.

Unfortunately, Cher isn't giving a lot of hints here. All she wrote was, "THERE R NO WORDS, ALEXANDER,A.E." She then noted those are his hands holding the box.

Of course, the internet is flipping out over the fact Cher may be engaged again. She hasn't been married since Gregg Allman way back in the mid-to-late '70s, and obviously Sonny Bono before that. She's dated a lot of people since then ... including some pretty famous men like Gene Simmons, Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, Richie Sambora, Warren Beatty and others.

None of those relationships ever got to the point of marriage though ... and if she is, in fact, set to walk down the aisle with AE, it'd be pretty stunning -- especially since they've only been dating for a handful of months now.

Although we know they met in September, they only went public as a couple a month and change ago ... so a would-be proposal is clearly moving things along quickly, if that's what's actually going on. Then again, this could simply be a regular diamond ring ... right?

President Biden was persistent in his pursuit of Jill Biden's hand in marriage -- a story he told Drew Barrymore in a pretty long, dramatic fashion ... with a great payoff at the end.

Take a listen -- he went from S. Africa to her doorstep in Philly ... and kinda gave her a love-it-or-leave-it ultimatum that she caved to ... somewhat underwhelmingly. "Okay." 😅

During a stoppage at the Sixers/Clippers game Friday, there was a show where fans dressed in onesies. One of the folks on the hardwood was masked in a blue dog head.

The guy -- Chris Girard -- then revealed himself, got down on one knee and asked one of the 76er dancers -- Jackie Murtha -- to marry him!

At first it was unclear if she even knew the guy, but judging by the kiss ... she did. Turns out it's his GF and she said yes.

Now that's where the shade comes in. As they embraced folks started scoffing, saying she was way out of his league. Social media was predictable ... "You know this gorgeous lady is not gonna marry that dork, but at least she didn't embarrass him," and "Make-A-Wish doing adults now?"

Girard clapped back at his trolls ... “DEAR COMMENT SECTION: I KNOW SHE’S OUT OF MY LEAGUE. I AM JUST HAPPY TO BE HERE.”

President Biden has signed a bill into law that works to permanently protect same-sex and interracial marriages -- although the Supreme Court still might have something to say about it.

Dubbed the "Respect for Marriage Act," the bill codifies protections for married couples of all races and sexual orientations and requires the federal government to recognize these marriages in all 50 states ... which, for now, is already the law of the land.

The bill was passed in the House with a vote of 258-169 and in the Senate ... 61-36. Some Republicans got onboard for the legislation -- but far from a majority in either house.

To celebrate the occasion, the White House hosted an event on the South Lawn with several guests and even some music acts to help ring in the moment. Sam Smith, who identifies as nonbinary, was one of those artists who performed ... singing their hit "Stay With Me."

Cyndi Lauper, who appeared during Tuesday's press briefing, also took the stage for her classic song, "True Colors." There were a couple other acts, including a gay choir. Senator Chuck Schumer and Rep. Nancy Pelosi also delivered remarks, as did guest speakers.

During the signing ceremony, Biden called the move a huge deal for Americans everywhere, emphasizing the importance of being able to marry anyone you love, and the significance of having that right protected by law under the federal government.

The Respect for Marriage Act is meant to serve as a safeguard against possible reversals of key Supreme Court cases that weighed in on these issues in the past -- namely, 2015's Obergefell v. Hodges and, of course, 1967's Loving v. Virginia. The former promised gay couples the same marriage rights as heterosexual couples, and the latter did the same for interracial couples.

The bill was drafted shortly after SCOTUS' reversal of Roe v. Wade -- wiping away a federally-protected right to an abortion. There was then fear SCOTUS would go after Obergefell and Hodges too -- especially after Justice Clarence Thomas suggested cases like these needed another look as well in his controversial written opinion.

Drake isn't afraid to fall in love, and now he's got an insanely flashy piece of jewelry to prove it -- a necklace with 42 engagement ring diamonds -- for all the times he's wanted to propose.

Celebrity Jeweler Alex Moss tells TMZ ... Champagne Papi's new piece is called "Previous Engagements," a tribute to all the women Drizzy contemplated asking to marry him, but never went through.

In total, we're told the piece's 42 stones count for 351.38 carats in diamonds. On top of all the ice, it's made using 18K white gold and was set using the eagle claw technique.

Following the passing of the Respect For Marriage Act, House decided to no longer live in secrecy ... starting with announcing his engagement to boyfriend Ryan Neitzel.

Congrats are in order for Becky G and Sebastian Lletget -- the soccer star got on one knee and proposed to the singer on Thursday ... and she said, "YES!!!"

The couple shared the exciting news on Friday ... showing a picture of the FC Dallas midfielder getting on one knee and whipping out a massive diamond ring.

The Manhattan Beach location appears to have a significant meaning for the global pop star and athlete ... as she captioned the pic, "Our spot forever."

Paris Hilton's ex-boo Chris Zylka is taking a second run at the altar -- we've learned he got down on one knee for actress Hailee Lautenbach.

Sources tell TMZ ... Chris asked Hailee to be his wife a couple of weeks ago, as they were en route to the Seattle marathon -- in which Chris was supposed to be running in.

While driving, Chris told Hailee he forgot his bib and made her start heading back to their Airbnb. When she turned down a particular street that was beautifully lit up, we're told he asked Hailee to pull over and step out of the car.

She thought he just wanted to take the wheel, but instead got down and proposed. She said yes ... even though he didn't have a ring at the time.

Frankly, we see that as a sign of true love ... it wasn't about a diamond!

A few days later, Chris and Hailee -- who met working on the same film in 2020 -- told her parents, who offered up her grandmother's diamond for Hailee's engagement ring.

We're told the couple designed the full ring together after that.

As you know, Chris and Paris got engaged pretty fast back in 2018, with her saying "yes" a little less than a year after making things official. They called things off close to a year later, and Paris eventually tied the knot with Carter Reum.

The two-piece wedding suit Marilyn Monroe wore for her marriage to Joe DiMaggio is hitting the auction block ... and it's expected to fetch seven figures.

Marilyn's 'fit from the January 1954 wedding to the New York Yankees star will be offered to the public through Gotta Have Rock and Roll, and although it's one of her more conservative looks ... folks at the auction house think the winning bid will be spectacular -- somewhere between $1.5 and $2 million!

The historic clothing is a two-piece dark brown Serge wedding suit, with a white fur collar on the jacket.

Marilyn and Joe's wedding was a huge event back in the day ... and there are tons of photos and videos of them kissing while she's in the wedding suit.

It's a photo of her wrist with a tattoo reading ... "de gosling," which could mean she's taken his last name, as is custom in Spanish culture. Eva addressed this photo recently during her press run down under, clarifying she got it years ago and jokingly wondering ... "Who's to say we aren't (married) already?" EM went on to say she likes to keep it a mystery.

Tiffany Trump seems ready to say "I do" in her dad's backyard this weekend -- and the ex-Prez was on hand to see his daughter through it to the end ... looking spiffy, no less.

Donald's second youngest was in her bridal gown Saturday, with all her bridesmaids standing at the altar as the nuptials looked to be getting underway at Mar-a-Lago ... apparently, they went with a blue motif, as you can see in Ivanka's dress.

As we reported ... Tiffany was granted a wedding license earlier this week, and now -- it looks like she's about to make good on it. They've been together since 2018, and got engaged in the Winter of 2021. She's the latest to get hitched in the Trump crew.

Porsha Williams has taken a major step forward with her engagement to Simon Guobadia ... and it looks like the couple is super serious about tying the knot.

The 'RHOA' alum and her fiancé got a marriage license back on August 19 in Georgia's Fulton County ... according to public records obtained by TMZ.

Porsha inadvertently showed her wedding dress on social media this week, shocking fans who weren't convinced she would actually walk down the aisle with Simon.

But now we know Porsha and Simon have a marriage license, which they need in order to get hitched, so it appears they really are headed for the alter.

As we reported ... Porsha and Simon got engaged back in May 2021 after dating for only a month, and his ex is one of Porsha's former costars, Falynn Guobadia.

'RHOA' fans know Porsha was previously engaged to Dennis McKinley -- with whom she had a child -- but they split before tying the knot. Her relationship history is a reason why followers of the show didn't think she would actually seal the deal with Simon.

According to the court clerk where Porsha and Simon got their marriage license, there is no expiration date on the document ... we're told the license has yet to be signed and returned to the office.

Donald Trump's ready to give his youngest daughter away in marriage, and had his game face on to practice walking Tiffany down the aisle at Mar-a-Lago.

The Trumps walked through the wedding rehearsal Friday at the former President's West Palm Beach resort ... where Tiffany's Saturday wedding to Michael Boulos will go down.

The father of the bride was pretty straight-faced while arm in arm with a smiling Tiffany.

Maybe he's saving his grin for the big day -- or he's still upset about the midterm elections, or at least, the coverage of them. Trump went on a social media rant Thursday, claiming mainstream media was incorrectly blaming him for certain GOP losses.

Politics aside, Tiffany's wedding party looks ready to go ... from what we can see she's going to have at least 4 bridesmaids.

TMZ broke the story ... Tiffany and Michael got their marriage license Tuesday, so all they need now are the "I Dos," a witness and some signatures to make it official.

Tiffany Trump just checked a major box before tying the knot this weekend, and giving her family something to celebrate ... after a tough round of election losses.

Palm Beach County records indicate Tiffany and her soon-to-be-husband, Michael Boulos, were issued a marriage license Tuesday, Election Day ... and just a few days prior to their wedding this Saturday at Mar-a-Lago.

The license is valid for 60 days and they have to turn it back into the recorder's office before it expires to make their union all official and such. At this point, it seems everything is moving along right on schedule.

Tiffany's been with Michael since 2018, and they got engaged last winter. She just held her bridal shower this past weekend with her sister, mother and other friends in tow.

This wedding is probably a pick-me-up for her dad, Donald. Many of the candidates he backed for the midterms lost, and Republicans overall didn't fare as well as they'd hoped.

A new bride really takes the cake in an aggressive wedding video that has triggered outrage on social media ... with a battle cry for divorce!

Check out this TikTok video showing the newlyweds dressed to the 9's for their big day ... with friends and family all around ... as well as a three-tiered wedding cake on a table.

Everything seems pretty chill at first ... but then the groom does a beeline for the cake, cuts himself a healthy slice and walks over to his giggling bride, who starts backing away.

The groom pounces on her, smearing the cake on her face and pushing her to the ground. He helps her up, but then turns his back on her and walks away. A guest uses a napkin to wipe remnants of the cake off the bride's beautiful white dress.

Interestingly, it was the bride who posted the video, saying it was all in good fun. But, you wouldn't know it from the reactions on social media, which were angry and swift.

One person wrote ... “I would divorce straight away!!!! P–ck !!!”

Another commenter said, “Too aggressive, my dad would have knocked him out."

Someone else pointed out, “It [sic] a very special day for a woman. She gets her hair all pretty, makeup done flawlessly, looking like a princess.. only to have it ruined like that."

One woman predicted, “Nahhhhh that would of been the shortest marriage ever."

Post Malone is going all out for his fans these days, and his latest move might take the wedding cake -- yeah, he officiated when 2 fans tied the knot on his stage!!!

It all went down after Post's Saturday show in Seattle ... 2 excited fans hopped on stage, where PM was waiting for them and started the ceremony. The women stood face-to-face, as the rapper demanded everyone's attention and then he guided them through a few brief matrimonial steps ... as the crowd cheered from the front row.

After the couple exchanged "I do's" Post gave 'em the green light for THE kiss. Oddly, Post declared them wedded "in the eyes of space" ... but that seemed to work just fine for all parties involved!

This ain't Post's first rodeo pulling out stunts for fans during his shows ... and it looks like he's getting a good rep for being the go-to guy for whatever fans want to pull off at one of his concerts.

You'll recall, PM did a gender reveal last month during his concert in Tulsa ... letting a couple fans know they're having a girl. As they say, the Post Malone delivers!
