The George Clooney has taken great pains to NOT discuss his personal life ... but his fiancee's law firm just blew the lid off of George's secret.

Amal Alamuddin's firm just issued a statement congratulating the happy couple.

The statement reads, "The barristers and staff of Doughty Street Chambers offer their best wishes and congratulations to Ms Amal Alamuddin, a member of Chambers, and Mr George Clooney on their engagement to be married."

Alamuddin is a big-time international lawyer, who has represented big names, including Julian Assange.

Clooney and Alamuddin dined at Nobu Thursday in Malibu and she was spotted wearing what LOOKED like an engagement ring ... sparking rumors that Alamuddin locked down the man that many, many women were unable to lock down before her.

Well done, Amal. Well done.

Just like the show's series finale, the cast of "The Office" got together for a wedding -- only this time it wasn't for Dwight Schrute.

Brian Baumgartner -- a.k.a. Kevin Malone -- tied the knot in his backyard Saturday in LA ... and was joined by former co-stars Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, John Krasinksi and Oscar Nunez.

It doesn't look like Steve Carell made a cameo appearance at this wedding ... but it's obviously 'cause he and Holly are busy taking care of the kids.

Kelly Preston, Stacy Keibler, Lucy Liu and Renee Zellweger couldn't lock George Clooney down ... it reportedly took the power of a sexy law vixen to take him off the market for good.

Clooney and Amal Alamuddin dined at Nobu Thursday in Malibu and she was spotted wearing what LOOKED like an engagement ring. They dined with George's good friends Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber.

According to the NY Post, the two were trying to keep their recent engagement a secret.

Wearing her brand new wedding ring and cuffed jeans, Jodie Foster was photographed for the first time as a married woman Thursday in Santa Monica -- carrying some serious baggage.

As we reported, Foster and her photographer girlfriend, Alexandra Hedison, tied the knot over the weekend after dating for about a year.

Foster has never explicitly acknowledged her sexual orientation -- last year's Golden Globes speech (the one about "coming out 1,000 years ago") was the closest she ever came. And it was pretty great.

BTW ... Hedison was once Ellen DeGeneres' girlfriend.

Leave it to Jodie Foster to go and get married and not make a big deal out of it.

Charlie's in Paris with his fiancee -- former adult star Brett Rossi -- and was pretty well lit himself when he stopped to take photos with fans -- ring on finger.

Charlie tells TMZ he's no one's husband yet, saying it's a man's engagement ring from Tiffany symbolizing his eternal love for Brett.

Debbie Rowe has had a change of heart and decided to marry long-time friend Marc Schaffel ... and the flip flop has to do with her health.

Rowe -- who was famously married to Michael Jackson and had 2 kids while she was married to him -- tells TMZ ... when Schaffel gave her what looked like an engagement ring 3 weeks ago, she made it clear she would NOT marry him ... largely because she feared she had terminal cancer.

Rowe says she got the word from her doctors Wednesday ... she has sarcoidosis -- an auto-immune disease which is NOT cancer and not life-threatening.

She has decided to now say yes to Schaffel's proposal, telling TMZ, "He loves me, knows my kids, loves my kids and we'll see where this goes." Rowe says they have not set a date.

Kandi Burruss was NOT offended by Fantasia's foulmouthed wedding speech. Contrary to reports she was horrified at Fantasia's f-bomb barrage ... Kandi LOVED it.

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star tied the knot with fiance Todd Tucker on April 4 -- and was reportedly mortified when Fantasia took the mic at the reception, calling Kandi "the realest bitch" and "my motherf****n’ friend." She also went on about Kandi's big ass.

But Kandi's rep says she was NOT horrified in the least, telling us, Kandi laughed her big ass off at Fantasia's speech ... and the two had a blast at the wedding.

Rose McGowan broke her wedding vows even before she tied the knot ... at least according to a very pissed off D.J. who is suing her in small claims court.

Nahchey Storer claims in his lawsuit he was hired to spin at the actress' wedding last year, but she cancelled him at the last minute and stopped payment on his check.

Sources connected to Rose tell us her wedding planner booked and then unbooked Storer for her October wedding. She eventually hired a New Orleans brass band.

Storer says he has a written contract and he wants full payment -- $4,262.

Rose may have made a huge mistake though -- our lawyer hired Nahchey for his wedding and says he's FANTASTIC.

I went to an 80s rock concert this weekend and a wedding broke out ... is how guests at the nuptials of Linda Perry and Sara Gilbert must have felt ... because the affair was JAM PACKED with rock performances.

Perry and Gilbert tied the knot in Malibu on Sunday, after announcing their engagement a year ago.

According to our sources, Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Aisha Tyler, Steven Tyler, Juliette Lewis and Tobey Maguire were all in attendance.

The man court staff believed was Johnny Depp when he got married on the courthouse steps says even though he's a newlywed, he'd still do the dirty with the real Johnny's real fiance.

Rowe -- who was married to Michael Jackson -- tells us they're "just friends" and have been friends for years but they are "absolutely, positively not engaged."

TMZ was flooded with emails and phone calls this morning tipping us off that Johnny Depp just married Amber Heard ... but now we know they were all fooled by a PHENOMENAL impersonator.

A guy who looks just like Jack Sparrow tied the knot yesterday at the Ventura County Courthouse. It was a real marriage ... not a hoax.

The guy was a DEAD RINGER for Depp (above) ... even dressed just like him. Everyone thought he was really Johnny ... and lots of Depp fans took pics with him.

Let's hope the wedding video comes out better than the "Pirates of the Caribbean" sequels.

Hayden Panettiere is going Hollywood -- Hollywood, Florida because she just sold her home in L.A.

Hayden recently bought a house in Nashville, where she's doing her show. As you know, she's engaged to boxing champ Wladimir Klitschko, who owns a penthouse in Hollywood, Fla, and she's spent a lot of time down there.

As for the L.A. home ... we've learned Hayden sold it for $3.075 MIL (thanks to celeb realtor Josh Altman). She bought it in 2008 for $2.635 MIL.

It's interesting ... For years Hayden was a fixture in L.A. ... frequently hitting the town. But now she's high profile in Nashville.

Los Angeles ... it used to be a thing.
