The Paramount Network drama made its highly anticipated return Sunday and with it, an apparent final call about Costner's future on the show by ...  killing off the beloved Dutton patriarch, John.

America isn't the only place that loves a good award ceremony ... Europe clearly enjoys one too -- 'cause they brought out some big stars for the MTV European Music Awards.

Here's the deal ... during the 'SNL' cold open, cast members pledged their undying allegiance to Donald Trump -- claiming they'd always supported him, so there's no reason for him to retaliate against them.

At one point during the bit, Kenan Thompson jokes that -- worst-case scenario -- we can always just bail on our planet and go to Mars with Elon Musk ... which is when Dana runs out in dressed as the Tesla billionaire.

Britney Spears complained about her conservatorship on a TV show years before it ended, but the clip was edited out of the final cut and never seen ... until now.

Britney was a guest on "The Jonathan Ross Show" back in 2016 ... a talk show on ITV in Great Britain. She was promoting her album, "Glory," and during the chat the conservatorship came up.

Ross asked Brit, "The new album, you are more involved in this musically I understand than previous ones. So you've taken control. You're more in control of your music than before. Why did it take you so long? Why did you wait 'till now to do it?"

Some liberal women are on a sex strike to punish men over Donald Trump being reelected president ... but it might not work out how they envision -- so says Farrah Abraham.

Here's the skinny ... Dems seemed to think a possible DT defeat would be a referendum on abortion rights. And as that did not happen, some women are calling for a sex strike along the lines of "4B," a trend that began in South Korea in 2018 in the wake of America's #MeToo movement.
