'RHOP' Star KAREN HUGER Reeked of BOOZE AFTER CRASH ... According to Cops

Karen Huger was swaying and had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath following her frightening crash Tuesday night in Potomac, MD ... this according to the police report.
According to the report, obtained by TMZ, officers noted the 'Real Housewives of Potomac' cast member also had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes when they arrived on scene -- and they say she didn't answer when cops asked her twice how much she had to drink.
Officers also noted she had 2 closed bottles of the alcoholic beverage Stella inside her vehicle.
The report adds that while cops thought Karen appeared to be intoxicated ... she declined to undergo a field sobriety test or a breathalyzer.
Fire rescue, which also responded to the scene, tried to get her to sit on a stretcher -- but the report says she refused both the stretcher and any medical care.
According to officers, Karen also made it clear she did not wish to be recorded when officers told her she was on their bodycam footage.
She was ultimately arrested for DUI, and driven to the police station where she was issued citations ... and later released to her husband, Raymond.
As we reported ... cops told us Karen hit the median and a street sign late Tuesday night while driving her 2017 Maserati -- and a security guard in the neighborhood called the police after witnessing the whole thing.
Huger hasn't addressed the charges yet.
BTW, we spoke with Karen's 'RHOP' costar Candiace Dillard Bassett ... who filled us in on the folks showing her tons of support following her crash -- as well as what it might mean for Karen's future on the series.
Pretty interesting insight from a reality bedfellow ... take a look for yourself.

AMANDA BYNES Turned Down 'Quiet On Set' Interview ... Nothing Like Her Experience
-
Exclusive
- 1.4K shares
Amanda Bynes isn't interested in talking about her child star past -- especially for the doc about Nickelodeon -- because she simply didn't have a bad experience ... TMZ has learned.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … both Amanda and her parents -- Rick and Lynn -- were approached about telling their stories on "Quiet On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV," but we're told they all opted not to participate.
Our sources say Amanda -- whom we're told did not watch the documentary -- declined to sit for an interview on account that she felt she just didn't have anything to share that would further their cause. In other words, she didn't go through what the 'QOS' subjects did.
On the contrary, our sources tell us Amanda is grateful for what she was able to do with her Nickelodeon start -- as we're told she acknowledges that it launched her career back then.
As for her parents ... our sources say they're private people and wanted to stay out of the spotlight for this. Unlike Amanda, we're told they actually watched the documentary and were both saddened and disgusted by the allegations.
But again, we're told the family unit as a whole hadn't experienced what these other child actors did while at the network ... which is why it didn't make sense for them to sit for it.
As we all know, Amanda starred on "The Amanda Show" from 1999 to 2002 alongside Drake Bell -- who revealed he was abused by dialogue coach Brian Peck. Peck was credited on some episodes of 'TAS' as well.
Some of Drake's former costars -- like Josh Peck who also appeared on "The Amanda Show" -- have come out in recent days ... saying they watched the documentary and are lamenting the horrors their costars claim they dealt with.
BTW ... one of the 'Quiet On Set' episodes focuses heavily on Bynes, including how she was discovered at the Laugh Factory in the mid-90s -- so, it does seem a little odd that Amanda isn't interested in peeping the series at all ... especially since she's a focal point in it.
Of course, it goes without saying ... Amanda's been through her own personal saga -- conservatorship, etc. -- and in the aftermath of that, it's clear she wants to leave the past in the past and focus on other ventures ... including her burgeoning cosmetology career.
Amanda is much more low-key these days ... and she hasn't publicly addressed the doc. Now, however, we know how she feels about it -- and there's no bad blood with Nick.

CANDACE OWENS RAPEA LA INTRO DEL "PRINCIPE DE Bel-Air" En "Breakfast Club" ✊🏾
¡Sigue funcionando!
Candace Owens Raps 'Fresh Prince' for 'Black Quiz' ... On 'Breakfast Club' ✊🏾
Candace Owens' "Black Card" will not be revoked -- not today, at least -- as the political pundit went on "The Breakfast Club" and passed a culture quiz with flying colors ... red, black and green!!!
On Thursday, Charlamagne, Jess Hilarious and DJ Envy all surprised Candace with a pop "Black quiz" they'd compiled, and the proud, yet polarizing, Republican impressed the gang right off the bat by rapping much of the opening theme to Will Smith's "The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air."
Candace also couldn't come up with Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson's name ... but she did know what NOT to bring to the cookout, in terms of food.
Throughout the appearance, Candace maintained she wasn't against Blackness, but more so Black illiteracy and blamed public schools and celebrity worship in the community for holding folks back.
Her stance on education explains her recent reaction to Ice Spice's "Fart" hit ... where she declared the track single-handedly set American society back a few notches!
Speaking of fire songs, the quiz also revealed Candace needs a refresher on the "Good Times" theme.
Still slaps.

Amanda Bynes.
PETE DAVIDSON Walks Away from 'Bupkis' Focused On Big Movies Coming Soon!!!
-
Exclusive Details
Pete Davidson's bowing out of "Bupkis" -- bidding adieu to the planned 2nd season of his own show ... and it's all because he's turning his attention to the big screen.
The 'SNL' alum told THR Thursday that he was happy to have the opportunity to tell his story in his own words through "Bupkis," after having his every move and private life documented in the media.
He adds, "I do also feel that this part of my life is finished. I'm very excited for this next chapter and for you guys to see the work. Thank you to all who support me for I am forever grateful."
The publication went on to report that Pete's agent emailed Peacock earlier this week, breaking the news about him walking away from the show ... but apparently didn't tell the show's production company, Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video, until later. Once they caught wind of the situation, they rolled on with the cancelation.
Another point ... THR reports the end of the show has nothing to do with industry-wide budget cuts plaguing Hollywood right now ... it's all about Pete wanting to move onto greener pastures.
We now know what that new horizon looks like for Pete -- sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ he's got a huge new movie coming out, with none other than comedy legend Eddie Murphy, as well as Emmy nominee Keke Palmer, signed on to costar ... something he's been working on lately.
Our sources tell us that, generally, Pete has been focused on his stand-up and movie career -- and that he wants to keep his attention there. So on its face, no more TV for now.
That tracks with what Pete's been doing these past few years -- yes, he was working on "Bupkis" ... but he's been quietly building out his film resume behind the scenes with flicks like "Dumb Money," "Bodies Bodies Bodies," "The Suicide Squad," "Fast X" and others.
Of course, "Bupkis" will be missed -- as it had everyone buzzing last year with its 8-episode half-hour series which starred Edie Falco and Joe Pesci as Pete's mother and grandfather. It was very 'Dave'-esque.
It got picked up for a second season by Peacock in June, just 2 months after its debut with a strong reception from viewers and critics alike. With all that momentum, it seemed like the sky was the limit for the show. But now, Pete's pulling the plug and moving on.
Here's to bigger and better things ... of which it sounds like there'll be lots for him.

Josh Peck Breaks Silence on 'Quiet on Set' ... Calls on Industry Change
-
Breaking News
Josh Peck is speaking out on all the claims and horror stories chronicled in the documentary about Nickelodeon child actors ... and he says things have gotta change for the better.
The former Nick star broke his silence Thursday over 'Quiet on Set' -- this amid mounting pressure from fans, who were very vocally calling on him to say something as he continued to post things on social media without addressing it.
Josh writes, "I finished the Quiet on Set documentary and took a few days to process it. I reached out to Drake privately, but want to give my support for the survivors who were brave enough to share their stories of emotional and physical abuse on Nickelodeon sets with the world."
He continues, "Children should be protected. Reliving this publicly is incredibly difficult, but I hope it can bring healing for the victims and their families as well as necessary change to our industry."
Josh's post is coming at just the right time ... his name has been trending all week in the wake of the doc airing -- with lots of people wondering if/when he was ever going to speak. Josh obviously wasn't featured in 'QOS,' but he was one of the biggest Nick stars back then.
Of course, his connection to Drake Bell -- with whom he starred on a massive show in "Drake & Josh" -- wasn't lost on anyone ... especially after Drake revealed he was abused as a teen.
The one thing Josh doesn't pinpoint in his statement is whether he ever experienced anything unseemly himself -- or if he was privy to what was going on with Drake at the time -- but based on his words, it seems safe to presume he was probably in the dark about it.
As we reported ... Drake came out Wednesday to defend Josh amid the backlash, notifying the public that his one-time costar had already reached out, and told people to lay off.
At this point, there's only one other person people really wanna hear from ... Amanda Bynes.

Dana Carvey Apologizes to Sharon Stone ... Over Undressing 'SNL' Skit
Dana Carvey wants to say sorry over an old 'SNL' skit that saw Sharon Stone stripping on the set -- but funny enough ... Sharon says no apology is needed, 'cause she's not trippin'.
The comedian and his podcast cohost, David Spade, were hosting the actress on their show 'Fly On the Wall' and they were recapping when SS hosted on 'SNL' way back in 1992 ... this on the heels of "Basic Instinct" being released in theaters and taking the country by storm.
In particular, they revisited this one controversial skit called the "Airport Security Sketch" -- where DC played an Indian security guard who kept ordering Sharon to remove one piece of clothing at a time ... because she kept setting off the security buzzer.
Dana has regrets about that ... saying that while Sharon was cool about it back then, they'd probably get "arrested" for that scene nowadays. Spade even chimed in, saying it was offensive.
But, Sharon made it clear that an apology wasn't warranted ... adding there's a big difference between a misdemeanor and a felony -- and that back in '92, they were all "committing misdemeanors," thinking it wasn't a big deal at all.
Sharon adds she had other things to deal with at the time ... and was totally fine being the butt of the joke 'cause she thought it was funny.
She also says people's attitudes about this sort of stuff nowadays are weird and precious ... with people spending too much time alone, and not knowing how to be funny or intimate with each other anymore. In other words, she thinks PC culture is alive and well in 2024.
It's an interesting conversation for sure ... basically, Sharon is okay with the humor from the old days, even though some today might perhaps be offended on her behalf.

Drake Bell Guys, Josh Has Reached Out to Me ... Please Lay Off!!!
Drake Bell is coming to Josh Peck's defense after fans blasted his former costar for staying mum amid his sexual abuse story ... basically telling everyone to stand down.
The former Nick star hopped online Wednesday to clear the air on where he stands with Josh ... and he confirmed that JP has, in fact, reached out to him after his appearance on 'Quiet on the Set' -- even though just about everybody assumed he hadn't.
Drake -- who opened up about being molested as a teen by former Nickelodeon dialogue coach Brian Peck in the docuseries -- says he noticed the hate comments flooding Josh's social media accounts these past several days ... which he says are unwarranted.
As Drake puts it ... Josh has been supportive in the aftermath of the doc. Josh's reach-out hasn't been made public until now because of the delicate nature of the situation -- so things are clearly going on behind the scenes that not everyone can see.
Drake says that he's been going through an emotional time in processing everything that has happened ... which is why certain things have been kept out of the public eye.
His update comes amid accusations that JP was purposefully ignoring the damning doc about their former network. The comment section of Josh's TikTok account even featured countless fans demanding that he say something in support of DB, instead of making silly uploads.
Of course, Drake and Josh have a rocky relationship of late. The two found themselves publicly beefing after Drake griped about not being invited to Josh's wedding.
The two actors eventually hugged it out at the 2017 VMAs -- but even after that ... it didn't seem they were particularly close.
Still, we're happy to hear that Josh has rallied around Drake right now ... and here's hoping people heed Drake's request to lay off his old bud.

Aaron Rodgers Was Almost the 'Jeopardy!' Host ... Ex-Producer Says
Aaron Rodgers almost scored the coveted position of "Jeopardy!" host in the aftermath of Alex Trebek's death ... so says the show's former producer and one-time host.
Mike Richards -- who infamously lost the "Jeopardy!" hosting gig after one day due to old controversial comments he'd made -- told People that the NFL star was a frontrunner for the job after impressing as a guest host on the trivia show.
As Mike puts it ... Aaron was the most prepared guest host -- which is saying something since he guest hosted alongside TV pros like Anderson Cooper, Bill Whitaker, Savannah Guthrie, George Stephanopoulos, LeVar Burton, and Robin Roberts, among other notable names.
But, according to MR, Aaron prepped for the show very intensely and was still lovely to everyone on the staff. So, the professional quarterback was seriously considered to replace Alex -- and he was apparently interested, too.
When asked how he would juggle both hosting duties and football, Aaron supposedly told Mike that the "Jeopardy!" team would figure it out.
Alas, the job ultimately went to Mike ... who was eventually replaced by famed "Jeopardy!" champ Ken Jennings and actress Mayim Bialik after his swift firing. A less surprising contender was Katie Couric, who Mike says brought a different look to the quiz show.
On the issue of his infamous exit from the show ... Mike notes that a lot of half-truths led to his exile from the entertainment industry. For starters, he defends that he did not pick himself for the highly sought-after gig -- a panel selected him for the role in 2021.
Mike isn't holding a grudge, though. He even admitted that he thought Ken was always the perfect person for the job. Can't blame him for wanting to get all this off his chest.

'Christmas With the Kranks' Star M. Emmet Walsh Dead at 88
M. Emmet Walsh -- who was memorably in "Christmas With the Kranks" and "Blade Runner," among several other films -- has died ... TMZ has confirmed.
The actor's manager, Sandy Joseph, tells us Walsh passed away at a hospital in Vermont Tuesday as a result of cardiac arrest. No word on what exactly landed him in the hospital, or what sort of ailment he might've been battling.
Walsh was a veteran in Hollywood, and one of the most prolific character actors in the biz -- having racked up a whopping 233 acting credits to his name, with roles dating back to the '60s, playing Jason Randall on an episode of "The Doctors."
Since then, he'd starred in countless well-known films and TV shows spanning decades.
In addition to his work on 'CWTK' -- where he played Tim Allen's cranky neighbor and archenemy, Walt Scheel -- Walsh has acted in flicks like "Ordinary People," "The Jerk," "Fletch," "Blood Simple," "A Time to Kill," "Romeo + Juliet," "Wild Wild West," and many, many more.
His TV work is equally impressive ... Walsh had worked on TV series like "Starsky and Hutch," "Baretta," "The Rockford Files," "The Sandy Duncan Show," "East of Eden," "Little House on the Prairie," "The Twilight Zone," "Unsub," "The Flash," "Home Improvement," "The X-Files," "NYPD Blue," "Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot," "Damages," "Adventure Time" and others.
Walsh is survived by his nieces and nephews. He was 88.

50 Cent's "Power Book II: Ghost" is coming to an end next season, and while one of its stars, Gianni Paolo, says he'll continue working with the G-Unit visionary ... he also says losing his show sucks!!!
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Gianni linked with TMZ Hip Hop at LAX, and like his costar Michael Rainey Jr. -- who was disgusted by the cancelation -- he feels the show's tight-knit cast is simply getting a bitter taste of Hollywood's revolving door.
Starz CEO Jeff Hirsch recently explained how budget costs go up after 3rd and 4th seasons, and Gianni confirms to us they did get raises -- but, still, he didn't expect to get canceled after the show set Starz ratings records!
Season 3's opener broke Starz's record for its biggest weekend viewership and Gianni tells us he couldn't believe the network still decided to dump the show.
He thinks getting stingy on production costs isn't the move, and alludes to other Starz shows being made for cheaper ... and looking like it.

Kaley Cuoco Announces Her Dog's Death ... You're My Boy, Blue!!!
Kaley Cuoco is mourning a loss in her family ... as she announced the death of her beloved dog, Blue.
The actress shared the sad news Wednesday, saying she was in tears over the loss. As Kaley explained, Blue's loss was even more upsetting because he was the third dog she's had to put down in the last year.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Remember, Kaley announced the passing of King last month -- less than a year after her rescue pup Dump Truck died last May.
While Kaley's clearly heartbroken over Blue, she says she's also particularly sad for her partner, Tom Pelphrey ... who's the dog's original owner.
According to Kaley, it took some time for Blue and her to grow comfortable with one another -- naturally, he favored Tom over her.
However, "After some time Blue finally realized we were a family and we were all sticking together. Something changed. He was amazing. Protective of me and the rest of our pup crew, always on guard. I felt so safe home alone with him and when anyone came to the door I would put Blue on the leash and have him sit right next to me."
Kaley went on to add that Blue was incredibly patient and gentle with their young daughter Matilda, who was born last year.
It's no secret Kaley is an animal lover, having rescued several dogs over the years, and she also owns a few horses.
But, Blue was clearly a family favorite, with Kaley and Tom wearing the pup on Christmas sweaters one year.
Good boy, Blue. Very good boy.
