There's a battle brewing over soap opera star Sonya Eddy's posthumous Daytime Emmy ... with her estranged family determined to take the trophy back from her friend and producing partner.

Here's the deal ... Sonya died at the end of 2022 and she won a Daytime Emmy last month for her work on "General Hospital," with her producing partner and friend Tyler Ford accepting the award on her behalf.

Now, Sonya's family members want the award in their possession ... and they're pissed it wasn't given to them in the first place.

Sonya's younger brother, Robbie Eddy, tells TMZ ... the Television Academy didn't tell her family she was going to be winning an Emmy beforehand, and Tyler's told them he's going to keep her trophy.

We're told Sonya's whole family is now working to get the Emmy ... sending a letter to the Television Academy.

While Sonya's kin waits to hear back from the Academy, we're told they feel this whole thing is a slap in the face -- they're still grieving, and this dispute is making that process harder. Plus, the Emmys happened shortly before the 1-year anniversary of her death.

Sonya's brother says the family has no plans to take any kind of legal action against Tyler or the Academy ... they don't want to tarnish her memory with a lawsuit, they're just hoping Tyler does the "right thing" and hands over her Emmy.

If the Eddys do get the trophy, we're told Sonya's 84-year-old mother will hold onto the award ... the family says her mom sponsored Sonya's Hollywood career.

Now, we've also heard Sonya was actually estranged from some family members when she died -- she wasn't getting along with her brother because they were fighting over who was going to provide and care for their mom, who has Alzheimer's and dementia.

Sonya's brother tells us they were working on repairing their relationship not long before she died.

Selena Gomez is making significant strides in her body positivity journey ... embracing her physical changes throughout the years, while acknowledging there's no going back.

The actress posted an old photo of herself, in which she looks significantly different -- sharing a bikini snap to her IG Stories Monday from years earlier ... writing that she'd never look like that again. Hard to say if Selena sees that as good or bad, but she's pointing it out.

SG then shared a recent swimsuit snap of herself from behind -- and while she undeniably still looks great ... the star used it as a reminder to practice self-love. Selena says despite not being "perfect," it's OK to be herself ... and she's proud of being who she is.

Worth noting ... Selena has faced body-shamers in the past, so it's interesting she's speaking up on this.

In 2022, she famously said being skinny wasn't worth the hassle of denying yourself your favorite foods ... adding, "Bitch, I am perfect the way I am."

Gary Graham -- famous from 'Star Trek: Enterprise' -- has died ... according to his loved ones.

The veteran TV actor passed away Monday -- an announcement that was delivered by his ex-wife, Susan Lavelle, who didn't offer a cause of death or any other details about the circumstances. She did, however, have a touching remembrance for her husband.

She noted his current wife, Becky, was by his side and added -- "Gary was funny, sarcastic sense of humor but kind, fought for what he believed in, a devout Christian and was so proud of his daughter, Haylee. This was sudden so please pray for our daughter as she navigates through this thing called grief. Fly high into the heavens Gar!"

Gary is perhaps most recognizable from his time on 'STE' ... where he played Ambassador Soval from 2001 to 2005 for a total of 12 episodes. However, another major claim to fame of his came from the late '80s show 'Alien Nation' ... on which he was the co-lead.

Other shows he's been on for a significant amount of time ... 'M.A.N.T.I.S.,' 'JAG,' 'Universal Dead' and others. He's also guest starred on 'Renegades,' 'Work Related,' 'Nip/Tuck,' 'Nash Bridges,' 'Walker, Texas Ranger,' 'The Dukes of Hazzard,' 'Ally McBeal' ... and more.

GG had some films on his resume as well -- including roles in 'The Spy Within,' 'The Last Warrior,' 'The Arrogant,' 'All the Right Moves,' 'Robot Jox,' 'Steel' and lots of others.

He's survived by his daughter, Haylee. Gary was 73.

Law enforcement tells TMZ ... no foul play is suspected in David's case but police are waiting for toxicology tests to determine an official cause of death. With that said, we're told an OD is what police suspect might've gone down here. No word on what type of substances are on cops' radar just yet.

"America's Most Wanted" host John Walsh says America's spiraling crime stats, and criminals getting smarter are just 2 reasons why his famous show is returning to FOX.

John and his son, Callahan Walsh, are hosting the 'AMW' reboot, and they joined us Monday on "TMZ Live" to discuss how crime has changed since the show's initial heyday in the '90s and early 2000s.

It was way back in 1988 when 'AMW' premiered on FOX and John tells us crime is so bad these days, honchos at the FBI told him they wanted his show to return, so he could help bust criminals ... particularly in areas the agency considers "lawless."

Another change since the OG 'AMW' ... John says advances in technology are making it easier to find criminals -- but he points out some of that technology also gives the bad guys more tools to break laws, and get away with it.

There are plenty of new criminals for John and Callahan to track down on their reboot ... but they tell us their program will also take a crack at solving some cold cases too.

No one understands the importance of staying on cases like that more than the Walsh family -- John points out he waited 27 years for the police files that eventually helped solve his 6-year-old son Adam's 1981 abduction and murder.

The new 'AMW' premieres tonight at 8 PM ET on FOX, and the Walshes tell us they plan to keep fighting crime in Adam's honor.

Kim Kardashian is Balenciaga's newest mouthpiece ... a partnership that's raising eyebrows following the French fashion house's controversial campaign almost 2 years ago.

In a statement Monday, Kim was announced as the fashion house's latest brand ambassador -- and KK herself gushed over Balenciaga's impact on some of her most memorable looks to date ... adding she's a massive fan of their creative director Demna's modernity, craftsmanship, and innovative design approach.

She says she's excited about the brand's next chapter with herself as a face for the brand -- which she called a fitting link-up given their longstanding relationship. Interestingly, Kim also seemed to allude to the mess Balenciaga found itself in 2022 ... saying she their relationship is based on mutual trust and "commitment to doing what's right."

You'll recall ... Kim spoke out at the time after Balenciaga attempted to roll out a kid-featured BDSM shoot -- after which said she was re-evaluating her connection to the brand, which she suggested had left her disturbed. Ditto for the rest of the Internet, BTW ... lots of backlash.

Not only did the photos themselves piss people off ... but there were also court docs featured in the spread that referenced a famous child porn case pictured in the background.

That's why Kim seemingly changing her tune here has some surprised -- although, it's possible she and the honchos there at Balenciaga have come to some kind of agreement on this sort of stuff ... namely, don't get my ass in hot water again by pulling this sorta stunt.

Balenciaga went into damage control in the aftermath of the BDSM thing -- and on its face, it would appear they were able to calm her nerves and get her to agree to a major team-up.

The stalker problem in Hollywood has gotten so bad, that celebs are now having to hire PIs to track down these people to make sure they stay away ... including a famous violinist.

We did a ride-along with a seasoned vet in this industry -- a private investigator named Joe Dalu ... who was recently contracted by Lindsey Stirling to locate a man she claims has been stalking her and making her life a living hell.

Check out how Dalu explains this phenomenon to us in the car -- he says there are a lot of law enforcement agencies these days that don't want to serve stalkers with stay-away orders, out of fear of being attacked and harmed ... and as a result, there's no one left to do it.

That's where Joe comes in ... and you can see him doing the job here -- confronting a man who's alleged to be obsessed with Lindsey.

BTW, this guy has ties to hounding Taylor Swift too -- he's been obsessed with her for more than a year -- which just speaks to the larger issue.

The actor's sister, Katie Colmenares, shared the tragic news on Instagram Saturday  ... saying she'd "hold you so tight every day in my heart" and she'd miss him "every second of every day forever" -- she did not give a cause of death.

Peter Ferriero, host of a "Beverly Hills, 90210" rewatch podcast confirmed the death as well.

Gail's got numerous credits -- including seven appearances as 'BH: 90210' where he played Shannen Doherty's character's fiancé, Stuart Carson -- but he's best known for his work in the soap opera world.

David appeared on 216 episodes of the "General Hospital" spin-off Port Charles where he played Dr. Joe Scanlon #2, according to IMDb.

A few of Gail's other credits ... "Matlock," "Murder, She Wrote," "The Round Table," "Doogie Howser, M.D.," "Perfect Opposites" and "Growing Pains." He even starred alongside Bradley Cooper in the 2002 rom-com "Bending All The Rules."

Gail was 58.

It's good to see Sofia's not stressing her recent legal drama too much. We broke the story ... convicted drug queen-pin Griselda Blanco's estate is suing Vergara and Netflix over her portrayal of GB in the new upcoming series "Griselda."

Blanco's adult children are leading the charge ... with her son Michael alleging the new show at times leans on notes and anecdotes he took down between 2009 and 2022 and shared with a Netflix producer -- who Michael says assured him they weren't gonna use his notes when they made the series.

It's aIl pretty murky, but the bottom line is the estate wants the show put on hold ... a tall order since it's set to come out on the streamer Thursday -- not leaving much time for a judge to rule in their favor.

Dave dijo: "No dijo nada sobre ninguno de estos chicos blancos. Ninguno de estos chicos blancos funciona así". Básicamente, Dave parece estar diciendo que no está viendo comediantes blancos atacándose entre sí, sin embargo, Katt hizo todo lo contrario, despotricando contra comediantes afroamericanos.

Chappelle añadió que "las personas heridas daña a la gente", y reconoció que él mismo es una persona herida... y no se le ve lanzando veneno a sus compañeros cómicos.
