Idaho Murder House Torn Down ... Year After Kohberger Arrest

The home where 4 University of Idaho students were brutally murdered has been demolished ... this coming a year after suspected killer Bryan Kohberger was arrested.
The demo crew got to work early Thursday morning on razing the property in Moscow, ID ... the sun was barely up when demolition began, and the whole front of the building was out of sight in roughly 15 minutes.
The university claimed the demolition could take several days, although the property already looks completely unrecognizable. University officials said the decision to tear it down was an attempt "to decrease further impact on the students who live in that area."
As you know, it's been almost a year since 29-year-old Kohberger was arrested for the November 2022 murders of Kaylee Goncalves, Maddie Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, who were all found dead inside the home.
The Goncalves and Kernodle families issued a statement Wednesday, asking the university to wait to tear the building down until Kohberger's trial is completed -- even though a trial date has not been set.
Kaylee's family claimed the teardown would "destroy one of the most critical pieces of evidence in the case," but the home is gone now.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard's back on the outside ... she's just been released from behind bars and is out on parole.
Gypsy had been serving a 10-year prison sentence after being convicted of second-degree murder in connection with the death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
As we reported ... Gypsy was granted parole in September and the Missouri Department of Corrections scheduled her release for Dec. 28, three years before her release date.
Remember ... Gypsy was sentenced to a decade behind bars back in 2016 after pleading guilty to her mother's murder, a case that spawned an HBO documentary and a Hulu scripted series.
You'll recall ... Dee Dee was accused of forcing Gypsy to pretend to be disabled for years, holding her hostage and even tying her up in a bed after Gypsy tried to escape her clutches.
Dee Dee suffered from Munchausen by proxy ... a mental disorder where someone fabricates illnesses or actually causes injury to someone for sympathy or attention.
Gypsy's then-boyfriend, Nick Godejohn, admitted to murdering Dee Dee in 2015 to help Gypsy escape her mother.
While Gypsy is now enjoying some newfound freedom, Godejohn was convicted of murder and is serving a life sentence.
GRB, now 32 years old, has said in prison interviews she felt more free behind bars than she was when she was living with Dee Dee ... and she says she regrets her mother's murder.
Up next for Gypsy is a trip to see the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs ... she previously told TMZ she and her husband, Ryan, got tickets for KC's Dec. 31 game, where she's hoping to meet Taylor Swift.

For a lil nightmare for Christmas, head down to Zak Bagan's Haunted Museum in Sin City ... where he's just unveiled an exhibit for a Santa costume once worn by an infamous serial killer.
The "Ghost Adventures" star tells TMZ ... the costume worn by John Edward Robinson -- a convicted serial killer, con man, embezzler, kidnapper, and forger - will be on display through the holidays at his museum.
The Santa outfit was the one worn by Robinson to children's parties, scouting events and other similar functions. Zak bought the costume a few years ago and came from John's estate.
But, even Zak's creeped out by his new possession ... displaying his serial killer costume inside his museum's "Jail Room" -- built from actual bars dissembled from an Iowa prison. He says anything belonging to these evil monsters should be behind bars where they belong.
Robinson was indeed pure evil ... having been found guilty in 2003 of 3 murders in Kansas City and receiving the death sentence for 2 of them. He also admitted responsibility for 5 additional homicides ... with investigators fearing there might be other undiscovered victims.
His crimes were particularly spine-chilling as he made contact with most of his victims through online BDSM-themed chat rooms, ... often going by the name "Slavemaster."
He was given the label of "the Internet's first serial killer."

Fatal Marriage Proposal Man Arrested After GF Falls From Cliff ... Allegedly Rejected Him
A man in Turkey is in jail, accused of throwing his girlfriend to her death off a clifftop where he had just proposed to her ... and cops think she said, "no" before the fatal tumble.
Nizamettin Gursu has just been arrested in the death of his girlfriend, Yesim Demir, who reportedly fell 100 feet to her death in the Turkish city of Canakkale.
His arrest comes about 5 months after Yesim's fatal fall. Gursu originally told police his GF accepted his proposal, he left her at the edge of the cliff to grab food and drinks from his car and then heard her scream. He said he returned to find she had fallen over the ledge.
However, cops say their investigation now leads them to believe Yesim rejected the proposal, and a struggle ensued at the scenic picnic spot ... a struggle that ended with her going over the cliff to her death.
Police say Gursu still had the engagement ring in a box in his pocket ... and they also found a broken speaker and shattered glasses where the July 6 proposal went down.
What's more, cops say Yesim's family told them she had been planning to break up with Gursu before the proposal ... and they say she would have never gotten engaged to him.
The woman's family also told police she would not willingly stand at the edge of a cliff because she suffers from panic attacks.
Gursu remains in jail awaiting trial -- but, wow, if "Dateline" had a Turkish bureau they'd be all over this.

NBA G Leaguer Chance Comanche Suspected Of Murdering Woman ... Dumping Her In Desert
Chance Comanche, an NBA player who's spent the majority of his basketball career in the G League, has been arrested ... after officials say he helped murder a woman -- and then dumped her remains in a desert.
Comanche was thrown behind bars in the case on Friday -- following a lengthy investigation into the disappearance of Marayna Rodgers by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
According to the LVMPD, two individuals told officers on Dec. 7 that Rodgers had gone missing -- and a short time later, cops say they discovered the woman had scheduled a meeting with Comanche and his 19-year-old girlfriend, Sakari Harnden, on Dec. 5 -- but had not been seen or heard from since.
The LVMPD says early on in the investigation, its detectives "suspected foul play" in the case and sought to arrest both Comanche and Harden for kidnapping.
On Dec. 13, Harnden was booked in Las Vegas ... while Comanche -- who was playing this season for the G League's Stockton Kings -- was taken in by FBI agents in Sacramento two days later.
However, the LVMPD says following the arrests, officers were able to gather more information in the case and discovered Rodgers' remains in a desert area in Henderson, Nevada.
LVMPD detectives say they believe both Comanche and Harnden were responsible for her death -- and now, they say the two will be facing murder charges.
Comanche, a 27-year-old, 6-foot-10 center, first joined the G League in 2017 after going undrafted out of the University of Arizona ... and after spending time with multiple teams -- including the Stockton Kings -- he eventually made his debut in the NBA for the Portland Trailblazers last season.
This year, he rejoined the Stockton squad ... though he was cut following his arrest on Friday.
Comanche is now slated for a court appearance later this week, and it's expected he'll be extradited to Nevada shortly after.
