James Corden wanted to get to the bottom of an international air travel snafu, seeking out airline employees ... and this time he's got the public on his side.
The comedian was photographed at an airport in Portugal appearing agitated with several British Airways staffers ... chatting them up after some travel issues, a welcome sight for others on board.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... while he might've looked peeved, he was actually just talking to airline employees and seeking info. There were reports James confronted the crew but we're told he didn't confront anyone ... and wasn't "venting frustration" either.

Brandon McManus -- a former Super Bowl champion who signed a big free-agent deal with Washington in March -- has just been cut by the Commanders ... following allegations he sexually assaulted two flight attendants last year.
The women made the claims against the 32-year-old kicker in a lawsuit that was filed in Duval County, Fla. last month.
Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II said that while they were working on a Sept. 28, 2023 United Kingdom-bound flight privately booked by the Jacksonville Jaguars ... McManus, who played for the Jags at the time, became inappropriate with them.

Taylor Swift powered through some serious rain during her "Eras" tour performance in France this weekend -- and so did her fans, which TayTay appreciated ... and made known too.
The pop star shouted out the Swifties Sunday who wouldn't stop dancing during the concert at the Groupama Stadium in Lyon -- despite the immense amount of rain.
Here's what she said ... "So it looks like we have officially had a rain show tonight, this is a rain show for sure. And that is set, that is permanent because it doesn’t matter if it rains again, it really did rain during this show."
Boeing Starliner Launch Scrubbed Last Minute ... Investigating Cause
Boeing's recent string of incidents keeps growing ... 'cause the company was set to send astronauts into space -- before canceling the launch with just minutes to go.
The Boeing Starliner -- a spacecraft heading to the International Space Station -- aimed to launch at 12:25 PM ET Saturday, but with 3:50 left on the clock, they called off the whole mission ... and, the disappointing moment's caught on video.

9:41 AM PT -- The Maryland Transportation Authority tells TMZ ... officers responded to the incident late Tuesday afternoon upon receiving reports of the fight. Officers identified five involved individuals, one of whom suffered minor injuries.
Meanwhile, a rep for Spirit tells us four employees of a third-party service they use have been suspended by that company pending an investigation into the brawl. Spirit says they do not directly employ the individuals.
The airline adds violence of any kind is not tolerated, and they plan to take appropriate action following the completed investigation.

Fans looking forward to the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight will have to wait a bit longer -- the July 20 bout has just been postponed following the boxing legend's recent airplane medical scare.
Jake's Most Valuable Promotions just made the announcement ... saying after meeting with medical professionals over his ulcer flare-up on Thursday, Mike was told it was best to do "minimal to light training over the next few weeks."
Jake and Mike both agreed it was best to push the event back ... as they both want equal training time leading up to the fight.
Turks & Caicos Case American With Ammo ... Sentenced, Avoids More Prison Time
The American man who mistakenly brought hunting ammo into Turks and Caicos is breathing a sigh of relief as he heads back home -- 'cause he won't do any major prison time.
Tyler Wenrich -- a Virginia 911 operator and emergency medical tech -- got hit with a hefty $9,000 fine, and has been sentenced to 3 weeks in jail -- but seeing as he's already spent that time in prison, the court's calling it even-steven and recognizing it as time served.
Wenrich initially faced up to 12 years behind bars -- the minimum term for smuggling ammo into the country -- after his guilty plea on two counts of ammo possession for two 9mm rounds on May 21.

1:03 PM PT -- It appears Nicki Minaj's been released from custody ... the police department put out a statement saying it had released a 41-year-old American from custody with just a €350 fine. While again they don't name Nicki, it appears they're referring to her.
Nicki Minaj's flight out of Amsterdam didn't proceed as planned ... 'cause cops detained her on her way to the UK -- and, now, she's seemingly been arrested.

10:45 AM PT -- Boeing just released a statement saying, "We are in contact with Singapore Airlines regarding flight SQ321 and stand ready to support them. We extend our deepest condolences to the family who lost a loved one, and our thoughts are with the passengers and crew."
A Singapore Airlines plane took a 6,000-foot drop after running into some nasty turbulence ... leaving 1 person dead and over 30 hurt.
Check out the clip -- you can see the food and debris left behind after the Boeing 777-300 jet hit bad turbulence when flying to Singapore from London Tuesday ... forcing it to make an emergency landing in Bangkok at 3:45 PM local time.
40 FLAMINGOS KILLED STRUCK BY INCOMING FLIGHT IN MUMBAI ... Carcasses Everywhere!!!
There are 40 fewer flamingos in India after a disastrous airstrike -- the exotic birds were taken out by an Emirates airliner coming in for a landing in Mumbai, and the carcasses were scattered around the airport.
Flight EK 508, carrying 300 passengers from Dubai, sustained some damage but safely landed moments after colliding with the flock -- and images of the aftermath, and subsequent cleanup, are graphic.
Residents from nearby Ghatkopar alerted wildlife groups about the mutilated remains of the birds ... which you can see in the video as the Forest Department recovers the carcasses. Officials are reporting broken pieces of wings, claws, and beaks strewn all over the area.
