The Milwaukee Bucks are NBA Cup champions, but they sure didn't celebrate like it ... opting out of a boozy postgame party.

The Dear beat up the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night in Las Vegas to take the second-ever Cup title ... but following the tilt, they left all of the beer and champagne that had been set up for them on ice.

Doc Rivers told media members that he wanted his team to focus on the remainder of the season instead of going crazy. Darvin Ham -- who coached the Lakers to last year's NBA Cup championship and celebrated with booze afterward -- reportedly helped advise the Bucks head coach on the decision.

TMZ Sports has learned the World Series parade cost the Los Angeles Police Department $1,738,621.19 ... almost entirely for a gang of extra officers to man the event.

Jahmyr Gibbs fantasy football managers, rejoice ... the Lions superstar says he's fully prepared to take on the bell cow role in Detroit in wake of David Montgomery's injury, telling TMZ Sports, "it's nothing I'm not used to."

Gibbs, of course, already had a huge hand in Dan Campbell's backfield -- toting the ball 186 times this season -- but after Montgomery hurt his knee in Sunday's loss to the Bills, he's now expected to get the majority of the snaps going forward.

When we asked Tuesday if the 22-year-old was ready for that ... he didn't mince words -- and gave a resounding yes.

It is no secret Aaron Rodgers and his family aren't on good terms ... but now the Jets signal caller is delving deeper into some of those issues, saying the rift between his folks was so bad, he had to "re-parent" himself.

The 41-year-old 4x NFL MVP QB opened up on the subject in his new three-part Netflix docuseries "Aaron Rodgers: Enigma," one of the only times he's publicly addressed the topic.

“At times when you have some dysfunction or some separation in your family life, you have to kind of re-parent yourself and give yourself what you didn’t get or wanted to hear more of when you were a kid, and I think for me, I just wanted to hear, ‘I’m proud of you,’" Rodgers said during the second episode of the series.
