During the speech, Trump talked TikTok ... mentioning how he used the app to win the 2024 election -- claiming it helped him win the youth vote. Trump did win over more voters in the 18-29 age bracket -- and, he even gained more votes from 18-29-year-old men than Kamala Harris.

10:50 AM PT -- TikTok has put a new message on their app ... thanking its users for their patience and lauding praise on President-elect Donald Trump for bringing the app back online.
TikTok is already coming back online in the United States on Sunday just hours after President-elect Donald Trump announced he would issue an executive order on Monday to restore the platform.
Not long ago, TikTok released a statement, explaining, "In agreement with our service providers, TikTok is in the process of restoring service. We thank President Trump for providing the necessary clarity and assurance to our service providers that they will face no penalties providing TikTok to over 170 million Americans and allowing over 7 million small businesses to thrive."

They continued, "It’s a strong stand for the First Amendment and against arbitrary censorship. We will work with President Trump on a long-term solution that keeps TikTok in the United States."
tiktok stars freaking out over ban ... Trump Issuing Order to Get App Back Up
With TikTok now officially banned in the United States, millions of users -- including the platform’s biggest influencers are reeling. Many creators took to other social media platforms to share their reactions, mixing humor, frustration, and disbelief.

Beauty influencer James Charles went on Instagram in dramatic fashion, admitting he was already feeling the loss saying, "I don’t know what to do! I’ve already opened and closed the app 6 times already just to keep getting the same warning message." He later confessed, "Now I’m rooting for Trump?! Ew! God, like Make America f**king Great again I guess. God!"
On Sunday, President-elect Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social account, "SAVE TIKTOK!" and said he will "issue an executive order on Monday to extend the period of time before the law’s prohibitions take effect, so that we can make a deal to protect our national security. The order will also confirm that there will be no liability for any company that helped keep TikTok from going dark before my order."
Entrepreneur and philanthropist Bethenny Frankel was on TikTok Live with Alix Earle and Spencer Pratt discussing the shut down ... literally as it happened.
Meanwhile, Alix later leaned into humor, posting on her own Instagram Story of herself lounging in bed with a glass of wine, writing, "Thank god for this wine right now. I wish this was a joke, but I sat here and laughed because I’m just sitting and sippin."

TikTok superstar Charli D’Amelio also took the news in stride, sharing a cheeky video to Instagram saying, "Hey reels, how we doin?" The post, referencing Instagram’s alternative to TikTok.
