The 'Bachelorette' host joined "TMZ Live" on Wednesday and revealed he sent the team an advance copy of Clare Crawley's 'Bachelorette' premiere. Why? Well, turns out the premiere was going up against Game 1 of the World Series.
Check out the clip ... Chris says the ladies -- and some of the players too, we're sure -- didn't want to miss last week's premiere, so he took it upon himself to hook up the Boys in Blue. The players, along with their families, were quarantined in a "bubble" in Dallas since the League Championship series and through the World Series.
Sure, Dodgers star shortstop Corey Seager earned NLCS and World Series MVP hardware ... but maybe Chris should be right up there with Corey?
Chris also talks about Clare's awkward one-on-one date with Zach J., and how it'll all come full circle with next week's episode. As 'Bach' nation knows ... Clare felt uncomfortable after Zach grabbed the nape of her neck after a cringe-worthy kiss attempt.
8:12 AM PT -- Jen's rep tells TMZ, her client was set up by Chad, saying, "Jen Harley is not dating Chad or anyone for that matter. Jen is only friends with Chad and had met up with him to show him a house earlier that day for sale."

The rep goes on to say, "Jen had not had anything to eat all day, she was drinking alcohol at the club and was extremely intoxicated. Jen does not remember anything in the video and is disgusted and embarrassed by her actions. Jen feels she was set up by Chad and his friends who were clearly taking videos to sell to the press."

The fan-favorite wore the hell out of a bikini Thursday in Palm Springs on her first day back as the new 'Bachelorette.' Tayshia looked pretty relaxed ... as most people tend to be in the desert resort city.
It's unclear how many dudes showed up for this first day of taping ... but it's safe to say one guy wasn't there -- John Paul Jones. 'Bach' fans will recall these two love birds had a huge spark while filming 'Bachelor in Paradise' and things looked promising when the cameras disappeared.

Chad Johnson can put his domestic violence drama behind him now, provided he remains on his best behavior ... after scoring a sweet plea deal.
The former 'Bachelorette' star pled no contest to 1 count of vandalism and 1 count of intimidating a witness ... according to the L.A. County Superior Court Clerk. We're told the 4 other charges he was facing --- corporal injury, battery, trespassing and vandalism -- were dropped in exchange for his plea.

TMZ broke the story ... Chad was arrested back in February after allegedly getting into a physical altercation with his on-again, off-again GF, Annalise Mishler. She claimed Chad got drunk and not only punched a hole in her wall but also got physical with her.

Chad tells us he's moving to Vegas in a month or so as soon as he finds a huge house there. He says it's way easier and more affordable to fly people into Vegas where he'll have lots of bedrooms and a studio room for others looking to get into OnlyFans-style content.

However, he followed that up days later with a concerning social media post depicting what looked like a makeshift hanging contraption, with the caption, "it'll be okay." The post sparked suicide fears and a welfare check ... and he was taken to a hospital for further evaluation less than 24 hours later after more troubling posts.
One of them included unfounded claims directed at Annalise, which ended with him writing, "All you had to do was hug me. You destroyed my life and it didn't even workout for you."
Johnson also made a YouTube video listing all the ways Mishler wronged him, essentially blaming her for his issues. She posted a response calling his vid "the most bizarre smear campaign attempt i've ever seen" and textbook manipulation.

12:28 PM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Chad Johnson has been taken to a hospital by authorities out of fear he may be a danger to himself. We're told cops who responded to his home Saturday morning on a welfare check determined he needed to be taken in for further evaluation.

We got a call into West Valley office of the LAPD to see if they're dropping in on Chad again in light of this new disturbing information. We're told officers were on the scene this AM for a possible welfare check, but no further details are known at this time.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... cops got a call for a possible suicidal person and rushed to Chad's home in the San Fernando Valley. We're told cops made contact with Chad, and after a conversation ... determined he was not a threat to himself or others.
As for what prompted the call to police ... we're told a friend saw Chad posted an image of a rope, apparently tied to a door, with the caption, "it'll be ok." The friend was also concerned because Chad stopped returning phone calls around the time he posted.
He's since deleted the pic from his Instagram story.
