Vince Young $1.69 Mil Mistake -- Failed to Repay 'Lockout Loan'

Vince Young is in trouble ... the struggling NFL star is on the hook for $1.69 million ... after failing to pay back a high risk, high interest "lockout loan" that he took out back when he was a member of the Tennessee Titans ... this according to court docs.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Vince went to Pro Player Funding in May 2011 -- during the middle of the NFL lockout -- and took out a loan for $1.876,876.88. PPF is a company which specialized in "lockout loans" for NFL guys looking to cover their bills during the pay freeze.

Young's loan was VERY high risk ... with high interest rates and a clause that allowed PPF to call in the entire amount due, plus interest, if Vince missed ONE payment.

And according to court docs, that's exactly what happened in May 2012 ... right after Young left the Philadelphia Eagles and signed a new deal with the Buffalo Bills, he missed his payment.

PPF instantly went to the court and obtained a judgment against Young ... ordering the NFL star to pay back the remaining balance on his loan ... plus interest ... totaling $1.69 million.

The number is close to the salary Vince will be making with the Bills this season -- he signed a 1-year deal worth $1.9 mil.

Young's situation is virtually identical to Baltimore Ravens lineman Bryant McKinnie ... who took out a $4 million loan with PPF on the eve of the 2011 NFL lockout ... and also didn't pay it back.

Bryant reportedly struck a settlement deal with PPF earlier this week ... agreeing to pay half of the $3.2 he's scheduled to make with the Ravens in 2012.

During the lockout, several NFL players spoke out against loans of this sort claiming they weren't in the best interest of the players ... and now Young and McKinnie seem to be living proof.

The loan drama is just the latest legal nightmare for Young ... the QB recently sued his former agent and financial advisor for allegedly cheating him out of $5.5 million Vince was supposed to have earned in his rookie contract and through endorsement deals.

10:02 AM PT -- Vince's rep tells TMZ ... Young blames his former financial advisor, Ronnie T. Peoples, for pushing him to take out the loan.

The rep adds, "Vince is currently involved in litigation after he filed suit against Mr. Peoples for misappropriating millions. Vince has brought in a new team that are in the process of correcting the prior mismanagement.”

Kenny Britt NFL Star Arrested for DUI at U.S. Army Base

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt has been arrested ... again ... this time for driving under the influence in Kentucky ... TMZ has learned.

The NFL star was taken into custody by the Fort Campbell Police Department at 3:30 AM Tuesday while attempting to drive on to Fort Campbell -- a U.S. Army base located on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee.

We're told Britt was with a soldier at the time of the arrest.

Britt's cherry red 2008 Dodge Challenger was taken to a nearby impound lot (pictured below).

It DEFINITELY ain't Kenny's first brush with the law ... the 23-year-old was busted back in April 2011 for careless driving ... and in June 2011, he was popped in New Jersey for resisting arrest.

A rep for Fort Campbell tells TMZ the incident is "under investigation."

11:45AM PT -- MPs tell us Britt refused a breathalyzer test, and has been charged with DUI. He was released, and escorted off the base.

NFL Star Chris Johnson Threatens Lawsuit Over 'Dreads on a Stick'

Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson ain't just takin' on the Bengals this weekend -- he's also going after two guys allegedly trying to profit off the NFL star's dreadlocks without his permission.

Johnson is furious ... after learning about a product called, "Dreads on a Stick" -- which were being marketed as fun wig-type thing fans can wear to support CJ.

The guys behind the product launched a website to sell the "Dreads"-- which featured Chris' name and image.

But CJ tells TMZ ... he NEVER approved the product and doesn't want his fans to be duped into thinking he had anything to do with it ... so he's unleashed his lawyers to make things right.

Johnson tells us, "My lawyers on are on it ... the site has already been shut down ... and I'm investigating to see if these guys made any money off of this deceptive scheme."

TMZ spoke to one of the guys behind "Dreads," who tell us, "This is bulls**t ... we're going to put this site back up and still promote dreads on a stick."

He adds, "We've been involved with Chris Johnson and his business team for the last 6 months."

NFL Star Chris Johnson -- Why Are The Cops Here?

Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson got a knock on his door from the cops yesterday ... and according to the NFL star, it all went down because he's, "Young, black and rich."

TMZ has confirmed ... the Orlando Police Department got an anonymous "non-specific" tip about high-end cars entering and exiting Johnson's condo complex yesterday afternoon.

We're told cops performed a "knock and talk" at Johnson's Florida residence to follow up on the tip. When cops arrived to Johnson's home, he was "cooperative" and "cordial" -- and in the middle of a shoot for a TV project.

Law enforcement tells us they checked out the scene -- and determined there was absolutely nothing illegal about the situation ... and left without incident.

Moments after cops walked out the door, Johnson tweeted, "Y did the police just walk in my condo saying they think it's drug activity because it's alot of traffic but it was the MTV camera crew."

He added, "Hard being young, black and rich."

Tennessee Titans Wide Receiver -- The Mug Shot

TMZ has obtained the mug shot of Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt -- taken moments after he was arrested yesterday for allegedly trying to run from police.

As we first reported, cops in Bayonne, NJ attempted to pull Britt over for speeding -- when the NFLer allegedly put the pedal to the metal in an effort to outrun them.

Cops say Kenny eventually stopped after a few miles -- and was arrested and booked on three charges: eluding, obstructing, and hindering apprehension.

Kenny's passenger -- who allegedly took off on foot during questioning -- was arrested for pot possession, resisting arrest, and obstruction.

Titans Wide Receiver CHASED Down by Cops

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt's off-season workout includes trying to outrun the law -- at least according to officers who busted him in New Jersey after a "COPS" style chase.

Police in Bayonne, NJ tell TMZ they attempted to pull over Kenny -- a former 1st round pick and Rutgers star -- for speeding around 4:30PM on Tuesday, but he allegedly hit the gas and kicked off the chase.

Bayonne PD says after a few miles, Kenny just stopped and he and his passenger attempted to walk away from the car. During questioning, officers say the passenger tried to bolt on foot -- FAIL. Officers arrested him for alleged possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.

Kenny was arrested and booked for 2nd degree eluding and obstruction -- cops say he lied about owning and driving the car ... a 2010 navy blue Porsche Panamera S which was impounded.

Britt was also arrested in January 2010 -- again in NJ -- for outstanding traffic warrants.

Time for a driver?

Randy Moss -- $200K Surprise from Tennessee

Randy Moss just got a $200,000 bonus for being picked up by the Tennessee Titans ... courtesy of his new state government.

It all comes down to state tax -- back in Minnesota, the former Viking had to set aside 7.85% of his multi-million dollar salary to pay the state income tax.

But now that he's employed in the state of Tennessee -- where they don't have a state income tax -- multiple financial experts tell us that extra $200,000 Moss was planning to kick over to MN, could now remain in his own pocket.

Straight cash homie.

Randy Moss -- 'Arrested' Welcome to Tennessee

Randy Moss is getting one awesome welcome to the Tennessee Titans -- a lyrical tribute from the ambassadors of Tennessee hip-hop and 90s hitmakers ... Arrested Development.

Just a few hours after the Titans plucked Moss off waivers ... Arrested Development (they're still together and recording) and their leader Speech celebrated with a ditty set to their hit, "Tennessee."

What's up Randy Moss? Arrested Development welcomes you to Tennessee where "we are still thirsty" for a Super Bowl win. No Brady, no Favre, no problem ... if there are any we know you Vince Young & CJ can solve them. Take Tennessee to the Super Bowl Land! Go Titans!

Hey, it's the thought that counts. Plus, did Prince write anything for Randy when he got to Minnesota?

NFL Star Chris Johnson 'I'm 100% Unstoppable'

Chris Johnson -- the superstar running back on the Tennessee Titans -- got a 99/100 skill rating in the new Madden NFL 11 ... but according to Chris, having the highest rating in the game just ain't enough.

Johnson tells TMZ, he's honored his character got such a high rating in the game ... but according to him, anything less than 100/100 isn't accurate -- "In real life, I'm 100% unstoppable. I got no home. I run for days."

Johnson's in good company though -- other players in the game with 99 ratings include Peyton Manning and Drew Brees.

Vince Young -- No Suspension? Let's Go Clubbin'!

One day after NFL commish Roger Goodell hinted that he won't suspend Vince Young for his strip club fist fight ... the Tennessee Titans QB did what anyone in his shoes would do ... he went clubbin'!

0-be39hi2f

Young -- and a posse -- hit up MyStudio nightclub in Hollywood last night ... without incident.

As we previously reported, Vince was issued a citation for punching some dude in the face at a Dallas strip club last month ... after the other guy talked smack about Young's college team.

Good thing no one in L.A. holds any grudges with Texas ... except for that thing that happened at the Rose Bowl back in 2006.

Vince Young to God: Don't Let Them Bench Me!

Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young has officially apologized to his teammates for that whole strip club fight, noting that he's praying to God ... not for forgiveness ... but in the hopes that the NFL Commish won't "come down hard" on him.

After practice today, Young said, "I just made a mistake, I made a mistake even being there and I let that guy provoke me into doing what I did ... I pray to God that Roger Goodell doesn't come down hard on me, because I definitely want to be here for my teammates."

As we previously reported, Young was cited for misdemeanor assault after punching some dude at a Dallas strip club early Sunday morning.

Vince Young Fight over Longhorn Smack Talk

The strip club brawl involving Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young was all over two things -- the University of Texas and cash money, according to sources in the club.

Multiple sources who were inside Club Onyx tell TMZ the fight started when Vince went to take money out at the "cash cage." We're told Vince was complaining about a surcharge to withdraw money -- and that's when the manager got involved.

We're told the manager is from Oklahoma and flashed an upside down "hook 'em horns" hand signal and said "F**k the Longhorns" to Vince -- who, if you don't know, was a National Championship quarterback for the University of Texas Longhorns.

That's when Vince allegedly socked the manager in the face and had to be dragged out of the club, according to sources. Vince's reps haven't gotten back to us yet.

KTVT is reporting that Vince is the prime suspect -- but a warrant has not yet been issued for his arrest.

A Titans rep says the team has been in touch with Vince -- and they "continue to gather additional information."

Vince Young -- Pole Dancer

Vince Young is in Dallas for NBA All-Star Weekend where he spent some quality time with his teammate Chris Johnson ... and a street sign.

0-7szk0gj9

VY was spotted leaving a nightclub early Sunday morning when he stumbled upon a pole and decided to use it for support -- before swinging around it while Johnson and another friend passed him back and forth.

The Tennessee Titans teammates were hosts at the same club Kobe Bryant didn't show up to. Looks as if they had a good enough time for all.

LenDale White -- Tennessee Ya Later!

Tennessee Titans running back LenDale White wants out of the blue and white -- that is, if his former college coach takes a pro job with the Seattle Seahawks.

0-iirqzz0s

White, a former superstar at USC, was leaving MyHouse nightclub in Hollywood this weekend, when he told us he thinks the rumors are true -- that Pete Carroll is bolting from Troy. White also added, "Tell Pete to hire me."

It also appears that White has lost some more weight -- because the dude's pants were so big on him, they were hanging down below his boxer briefs.

NFL Star Steve McNair Found Dead

Steve McNair -- an NFL QB with the Tennesse Titans and Baltimore Ravens -- was found dead Saturday in Nashville, Tenn., according to Nashville police.

McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville. A female victim was also found dead. Police have not released the name of the female, only to say it is not McNair's wife, Mechelle.

The call to police came in at 1:35 PM. The circumstances surrounding the shooting deaths remain under active investigation.

There were no signs of forced entry at the crime scene. No suspects have been taken into custody.

Don Aaron, a spokesman for the Nashville Metro PD, told News Channel 5 in Tennessee, "When police officers arrived in response to that call, they found two individuals who had been shot to death inside the residence: one female, one male. We now know that the male deceased is Steve McNair. The female deceased has been tentatively identified. We're working to confirm that and then notify her next of kin."

McNair was a three-time Pro Bowler and was the NFL MVP in 2003. He retired in 2007.

Titans owner K.S. "Bud" Adams Jr. released this statement: "We are saddened and shocked to hear the news of Steve McNair's passing today. He was one of the finest players to play for our organization and one of the most beloved players by our fans. He played with unquestioned heart and leadership and led us to places that we had never reached, including our only Super Bowl. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they deal with his untimely passing."

UPDATE -- A Nashville police spokesman identified the woman as Sahel Kazemi, a "friend" of McNair's. A pistol was found near her body. She suffered a single gunshot wound to the head, police say, and McNair "was shot multiple times."
