NFL Star Steve McNair Found Dead
Steve McNair -- an NFL QB with the Tennesse Titans and Baltimore Ravens -- was found dead Saturday in Nashville, Tenn., according to Nashville police.
McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville. A female victim was also found dead. Police have not released the name of the female, only to say it is not McNair's wife, Mechelle.
The call to police came in at 1:35 PM. The circumstances surrounding the shooting deaths remain under active investigation.
There were no signs of forced entry at the crime scene. No suspects have been taken into custody.
Don Aaron, a spokesman for the Nashville Metro PD, told News Channel 5 in Tennessee, "When police officers arrived in response to that call, they found two individuals who had been shot to death inside the residence: one female, one male. We now know that the male deceased is Steve McNair. The female deceased has been tentatively identified. We're working to confirm that and then notify her next of kin."
McNair was a three-time Pro Bowler and was the NFL MVP in 2003. He retired in 2007.
Titans owner K.S. "Bud" Adams Jr. released this statement: "We are saddened and shocked to hear the news of Steve McNair's passing today. He was one of the finest players to play for our organization and one of the most beloved players by our fans. He played with unquestioned heart and leadership and led us to places that we had never reached, including our only Super Bowl. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they deal with his untimely passing."
UPDATE -- A Nashville police spokesman identified the woman as Sahel Kazemi, a "friend" of McNair's. A pistol was found near her body. She suffered a single gunshot wound to the head, police say, and McNair "was shot multiple times."
Vince Young Learns Nothing -- Makes It Rain
The last time a member of the Tennessee Titans decided to "make it rain" while hanging out at an event with Nelly -- people got shot and lives were ruined. But Vince Young isn't one to learn from other people's mistakes...
While onstage with the rapper during a performance in Houston last week, Vince rolled out a wad of cash and started showering the crowd with dollar bills. But unlike the incident with his former teammate Pacman Jones, everyone emerged unharmed this time.
And speaking of Nelly -- remember when he used to wear that band-aid on his face as a tribute to his half-brother who was locked up for assault? Well, the guy's finally out of prison -- and during the concert Nelly brought him on stage and introduced him to the crowd too.

Another Major Jock Screwed by Mindy McCready!
First it was Roger Clemens -- now NFL superstar Albert Haynesworth is getting caught in the wake of the Mindy McCready madness!
The Tennessee Titans defensive juggernaut thought he could just slip into a Franklin court today to face the judge over a speeding ticket -- dude got nailed doing 103 in a 70 in an Escalade back in March.
Unfortunately for the 6'6" 320 pounder, a grip of local press was there to cover country singer Mindy McCready turning herself in -- and the big man was pretty hard to miss.
And this just in -- Albie's case was just rescheduled for November.
Vince Young: Suicide, Guns and ... Wings
If his injury didn't make fantasy football fans drop Vince Young -- maybe talks of suicide will.
The Tennessee Titans QB apparently left his therapist on Monday after multiple mentions of suicide and drove off in possession of a gun. Alarmed, Young's therapist contacted Titans coach Jeff Fisher -- and the police were notified.
Police began searching for Young who was M.I.A for four hours. He was eventually found, and his agent claims he was just "eating chicken wings with a male friend" during the search.
According to the police report, an unloaded gun was found in Young's Mercedes. He was released after talking to his therapist.

He was released on $1,000 bond.
The Titans have yet to return our call.

Woman Accuses Pacman Jones of Sucker Punch
Crazazy cornerback Pacman Jones has gotten backed into yet another legal red zone, with a Nashville woman alleging that Jones punched her at an Atlanta strip club.
Wanda S. Jackson, a lawyer, says she was in the Body Tap Strip Club's office (not dancing) when Jones came in to complain about his money and a bracelet being stolen. After leaving the office, Jackson alleges, Jones "sucker punched" her as she followed him out.
Jackson is seeking Jones' arrest; Jones' lawyer says no warrant has yet been issued.
It would be Jones' seventh arrest since being drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2005. He's currently serving a one-year suspension.
Pac Man -- The Next Hulk Hogan?!
Suspended NFL player Adam "Pac Man" Jones -- yeah, the guy who allegedly "made it rain" on strippers before a shootout in a Vegas strip club -- may soon be wrestling with more than just felony charges. Sources close to the star tell TMZ that Pac is just about set to go from the gridiron to the wrestling ring. Intercepted!
The troubled Tennessee Titans cornerback is currently facing felony charges related to a trigger-happy melee at a Vegas strip club in February. The hot-headed Jones is also accused of punching a stripper at the club while she was trying to grab some dough off the stage. Maybe he already knows how to pack a punch! TMZ has confirmed he's on his way to Nashville-based TNA, also known as Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. A source connected with the deal says an official announcement will be made soon. Can ya wait?
Perhaps the scantily clad ring girls should think about keeping one eye on the crowd ... and one on the Pac Man!
