Madonna is at it again ... finding herself in controversy after sharing A.I.-generated images of herself and a handsy Pope Francis.

The superstar posted the pair of A.I. snaps to her Instagram Story on Friday ... which made the Pope appear to be getting a little too fresh with the diva.

Along with the A.I. images, Madonna wrote on pic ... "Going into the weekend like..." and on another noted ... "Feels Good to Be Seen......"

Elon Musk will be able to be in 2 places at once when he starts his new government position in 2025 ... that is, if he takes one robot company up on a very generous offer.

In a letter addressed to the Tesla CEO and obtained by TMZ ... Realbotix, a create your own robot company, offered to design a "one-of-a-kind humanoid robot" modeled after the businessman -- mannerisms and all.

More specifically, the robot will replicate Elon's look "perfectly," have a customized voice to match EM's, track cryptocurrency prices, move around on its own, maintain eye contact, among other notable perks.

Cardi B has threatened drastic action in order to secure good behavior from her kids at school ... going after what they care about most -- their iPads.

The rapper posted on her Instagram Stories Thursday, where she revealed she had a couple parent-teacher conferences coming up ... and noted how she planned to keep her kids with ex Offset -- including daughter Kulture, who's 6, and son Wave, who's 3 -- on their toes.

She warned in the video ... "I better hear some good s*** or else ... iPads will be broken, phones will be thrown in the garbage, TVs will be disconnected, cables will be turned off. I am not playing. I am that type of mom."

One church in Switzerland is taking religion into the modern age ... introducing an A.I. hologram of Jesus, who is doling out advice to parishioners.

Theologian Marco Schmid, who works for the church, tells TMZ ... the experience is similar to that of a Catholic confession, with churchgoers stepping into a confessional booth at St. Peter’s Chapel in Lucerne for a private moment behind a closed door. However, rather than a priest greeting them behind a screen, the face of A.I. Jesus pops up, looking exactly as you'd expect -- with a young face, long black hair, and a beard.

A.I. Jesus has already left an impact on the faithful, speaking more than 100 languages and moving in sync with the words it dishes out. We're told more than 1,000 conversations have already taken place between churchgoers and the A.I. Immanuel over a 2-month period ... but A.I. Jesus is currently viewed as an experiment, not a permanent replacement for priests. St. Peter's is the oldest Catholic church in the city, BTW.

Elwood Edwards, the iconic voice of AOL's "You’ve Got Mail" audio message, has died after a long illness.

Elwood died Tuesday, the day before his 75th birthday. His former employer, WKYC-TV Studios in Cleveland, confirmed the sad news. The details of the illness remain unclear.

Elon Musk is promising an "autonomous" future, unveiling a number of driverless products ... including Tesla's highly anticipated Cybercab.

The billionaire offered a demonstration Thursday night at an event titled "We, Robot," showing off 3 new products. The first was the brand's driverless Cybercab, which Elon rode into the event ... and attendees were able to test out.

He said ... "The autonomous future is here. We have 50 fully autonomous cars here tonight. You’ll see model Ys and the Cybercab. All driverless."
