Tom Brady I Don't Speak To Trump Anymore ... Haven't Talked In 'Years'

Tom Brady's on-again, off-again friendship with Donald Trump is apparently on ice once again ... the quarterback just revealed he doesn't talk with the former president anymore, and hasn't spoken to him in "years."

The NFL superstar made the revelation during a recent interview with Variety ... after being asked if he still keeps in touch with No. 45.

"No," Brady said. "I haven’t talked to him in a lot of years."

Of course, Brady and Trump used to be good pals. The two golfed often, spoke regularly -- and, at one point during DT's initial run for president in 2015, the ex-Patriots signal-caller had a "Make America Great Again" cap in his locker.

But, Tom and Trump grew apart shortly after Donald got in office -- Brady famously skipped out on a visit to Trump's White House in 2017, and later slammed Trump's criticism of Colin Kaepernick as "just divisive."

The two had appeared to mend fences in 2020, when at a coronavirus update press conference, Trump said he had recently spoken to Brady -- calling him "a great guy."

But, based on Brady's timeline -- seems that might be the last time the two talked.

Rob Gronkowski I'm Really Retired For Good ... Even If TB12 Calls Me

Rob Espn Interview
AIN'T GOIN' BACK FOR BRADY
Mike Reiss / ESPN

The speculation can be put to rest -- Rob Gronkowski says his football-playing days are officially behind him ... and not even Tom Brady can change his mind.

The 33-year-old future Hall of Famer doubled down on his decision to walk away from the game just minutes ago ... saying he's excited to focus on new opportunities after 11 seasons on the field.

"Yeah, I'm done with football," Gronk said Tuesday. "Love the game. Definitely blessed with all the opportunities the game of football has given me and the relationships I’ve met, obviously, here in New England for nine seasons and down in Tampa for two."

"But, no, done with football. Stepping my feet into the business world, the business ventures and just seeing what’s out there and where I can find my place."

The comments come one week after teammate Mike Evans addressed Gronk's status ... saying he was hoping to see him back on the field for the Buccaneers in 2022, but knows it's probably for the best.

"He takes a pretty big beating," Evans told KPRC 2 Houston. "I've seen his body after some of them games and I understand why [he would retire]."

As for whether the GOAT could step in and get his beloved target back on the field for one more shot at a Super Bowl together, Gronk makes it clear he'd answer if his buddy called ... but there's no chance he could persuade him.

Mike Evans Shoots Down Potential Gronk Comeback ... 'I Feel Like He's Done'

A Rob Gronkowski return to the Buccaneers later this season ain't happening ... at least, that's according to Mike Evans -- who says he believes the tight end is 100 percent retired.

"I feel like he's done," Gronk's former teammate told KPRC 2 Houston this week.

Don't get it twisted -- the Tampa Bay wideout said he'd love to see the future Hall of Famer return ... but he explained he just thinks there's too much wear and tear on the 33-year-old's body for a comeback to be a real possibility.

"I hope he comes back," Evans said. "I mean, with Tom [Brady] and Gronk you never know. I wouldn't be mad if he came back. I'd actually be really excited if he came back, but I feel like he's done."

"He takes a pretty big beating," Evans added. "I've seen his body after some of them games and I understand why [he would retire]."

There has been speculation that Gronkowski could rejoin Tom Brady and the Bucs midseason -- his own agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said on the day Gronk retired last month that "I wouldn't be surprised if Rob comes back during the season or next season."

But, Evans clearly believes otherwise ... and said he expects Gronk's absence to be a big one in 2022-23.

"It hurts to lose Gronk, the best tight end ever," Evans said. "But, we gone have to make up for that in other areas. I have to play better. The running backs have to play better. Collectively we have to play better."

"We're going to miss Gronk, but I feel like we can definitely compete for a Super Bowl this year."

Tom Brady, Gisele Share Ice Cream On Italian Vacay ... Is That Avocado?!?

Adorable moment between Tom Brady and Gisele on their Italian vacay this week ... the two lovingly shared an ice cream cone -- but it's got us all wondering, is that avocado flavor?!?!

You'll recall ... the NFL legend is famous for never putting away sweets, and turning to the ultra-healthy avocado ice cream alternative whenever he wants to be somewhat naughty with his diet.

But, it sure seems he deviated from that TB12 Method out in Portofino while on vacation with his wife and fam on Tuesday ... 'cause that definitely looks like a chocolate/vanilla swirl to us!!!

To be fair to the 44-year-old GOAT, it seemed he only had a couple bites of the treat ... so, breathe easy, Alex Guerrero and Bucs fans.

And, yes, if you were wondering, Brady is still working out despite the vacation ... he was spotted getting in a sweat sesh on a yacht on Tuesday before the QT time with his supermodel bae.

FYI -- as for Brady's trademark avo ice cream, our sources tell us it SUCKS.

Rob Gronkowski I'm Retiring ... Again

UPDATE

12:44 PM PT -- Tom Brady just weighed in on his BFF's retirement ... writing in a sweet note on Gronk's Instagram page, "Love you as a man, teammate and friend. One of a kind in every way❤️"

UPDATE

He later added in a lengthier post on his own IG page, "Having Gronk in your locker room was every NFL players dream. I'm proud of all that we've accomplished together, and even more excited for all you have ahead of you.

UPDATE

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

UPDATE

The Buccaneers also wished Gronk a goodbye in a statement Tuesday afternoon, calling the tight end "a true professional who left it all on the field for us the past two seasons and helped establish a championship culture in our building."

Rob Gronkowski is once again hanging up his cleats ... the legendary tight end has just retired from football for the second time in his career.

The Tampa Bay star announced the news Tuesday ... this after he initially came out of retirement to play with Tom Brady and the Bucs in 2020.

In his two seasons with TB12 in Florida since, he won another Super Bowl ring ... and caught 100 more passes for 1,425 yards and 13 TDs.

"I want to thank the whole entire first class Buccaneers organization for an amazing ride, trusting me to come back to play and help build a championship team," Gronk said in a lengthy retirement post on his Instagram page.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

"I will now be going back into my retirement home, walking away from football again with my head held high knowing I gave it everything I had, good or bad, every time I stepped out on the field."

Gronk first called it quits following the 2018 season ... saying after a 9-year stint with Brady and the New England Patriots, his body didn't feel well enough to keep going.

Gronk had toyed with the idea of coming back for a third season in Tampa Bay this offseason, telling TMZ Sports he was staying "in shape" just in case he got the itch to play again. But, apparently, that itch never came ... and he seemed sure of his decision in his announcement Tuesday.

"From retirement, back to football and winning another championship and now back to chilling out," Gronk said, "thank you to all."

What's interesting ... Gronk's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said there is at least a small chance this isn't the end of Rob's historic career ... telling ESPN's Adam Schefter, "It would not surprise me if Tom Brady calls him during the season to come back and Rob answers the call. This is just my opinion but I wouldn't be surprised if Rob comes back during the season or next season."

But, for now, it seems the 33-year-old is really done.

See ya in five years in Canton!

Pusha T 'Almost Dry' Is Album of the Year ... And That's Tom Brady Approved!!!

Noted hip hop historian Tom Brady is naming his champion in a crowded sea of 2022 album releases, and for him it's ... Pusha T’s 'It’s Almost Dry!'

During a literal promo run for his Brady Brand “Run” apparel line, TB12 used Pusha and Kanye’s 'IAD' collaboration “Dreaming of the Past” as he jokingly bragged about being the fastest QB in the NFL.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Pusha got wind of the drop ... retweeted and got TB12 to cosign that ‘IAD’ was indeed Album Of The Year. In their book at least, anyway.

Released in April on Good Music and Def Jam, the album split production duties between Ye and Pharrell and features from JAY-Z, Lil Uzi Vert and Kid Cudi … who said it was his last time pairing with Ye … but that’s another story.

Push recently performed cuts at Pharrell’s Something In The Water Festival and reunited with brother Malice of the Clipse and Justin Timberlake.

TB12’s the football GOAT and if his music tastes are influencing his playing … then it’s probably safe to trust his ears. Unless you're lining up against him on Sundays.

Waiting for your permission to load Spotify album.

Either way, high praise for Pusha!

Tom Brady Dyes Hair At Charity Event ... Orange You Glad It's Not Dark Anymore?!?

Tom Brady's changed up his hairstyle yet again -- now choosing to dye it orange -- but, this time, the move is all for a great cause!!

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers partnered with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation on Wednesday to throw a "Cut and Color for a Cure" event ... and Brady was front and center for the action.

At the event -- which allowed kids who are battling pediatric cancer to give hair makeovers to Bucs players in an effort to raise awareness and money for pediatric cancer research -- Brady sat down in a chair and let the youngsters go to town on his famous 'do.

The kids sprayed his hair front to back in orange -- the official color of the NPCF -- leaving the GOAT with a sweet new look.

Brady and the Bucs also donated a check for $117,000 to the org. at the function.

“The support of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in our fight to end childhood cancer is invaluable,” NPCF exec David Frazer said.

“The team’s continued commitment to assist kids facing a cancer diagnosis makes them so much more than a sports team -- they are truly heroes, rallying to create a better tomorrow for their young fans and supporters nationwide.”

The Bucs have been working in conjunction with the NPCF's initiative for over 8 years now ... raising more than $500,000 during that span.

Gisele Films Tom Brady In His Undies ... 'Hey New Underwear!!!'

Gisele just gave us all a glimpse of Tom Brady that we've never seen before ... showing video of the greatest of all-time in nothing but his undies!!!

The supermodel just posted video of her hubby in a bathroom on her social media page, showin' off his fit bod and his latest Brady Brand boxer briefs.

Tom appears to be timid in the clip -- but Gisele was clearly loving putting him on camera, asking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star about his skivvies over and over again in the quick vid.

"Hey new underwear!" Gisele said while laughing. "Let me see. Let me see your new underwear. Is that Brady Brand?!"

Tom, with some sly hand placement to make sure the camera didn't capture too much of his body, eventually threw a towel over his wife's phone -- before the video ended.

As you know ... Brady ventured into the retail industry at the beginning of this year when he launched his own Brady Brand clothing line, and it seems the next item he's lookin' to hawk is underwear.

And, hey, if you look half as good as the 44-year-old, 7-time Super Bowl champ does in them ... might be worth the investment??

Tom Brady Chats With Mark Davis At Aces Game ... Ahead Of 'The Match'

Ah, what could have been.

Tom Brady was choppin' it up with Mark Davis at the Las Vegas Aces game on Tuesday ... a sight that would be a lot more frequent had the NFL superstar's free agency gone differently in 2020.

TB12 soaked in some WNBA action ahead of his big golf showdown against QBs Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes in "The Match" ... and ended up sharing a moment with the Raiders owner.

Of course, Brady reportedly had LV on his shortlist of teams back when he left the Patriots in free agency two years ago ... and famously said in an episode of "The Shop" he was shocked a team (people assumed he was talking about the Raiders) chose to stick with "that motherf***er" (hi, Derek Carr) over him.

Anywho, TB12 was posted up with his sister and Jim Gray for the Aces' matchup against the Connecticut Sun ... a victory for the home team.

Brady was able to chat with players while at the game as well ... keeping cool, calm and collected just hours before hitting the links.

No word on what Brady and Davis talked about ... but there's a good chance Al's son had to bring up the QB's semi-admission about the "Tuck Rule" game.

Josh Allen Calls BS On Tom Brady ... Your Hole-In-One Vid Is Fake!!!

Josh Allen clearly doesn't believe Tom Brady really sank a hole-in-one on a golf course recently ... sayin' the Buccaneers star's video of the alleged ace was "bulls***."

The Buffalo Bills quarterback made his feelings clear with an Adam Sandler meme just minutes after Brady dropped a video of him apparently sinking the long shot.

In the GIF, Sandler stutters ... before spittin' out, "BULLS***!" -- a clear sign Allen believes Brady photoshopped it all.

TB12, though, sure did a good job sellin' the clip if it was indeed fake -- 'cause he captioned the video by saying, "This is why you film every shot on the course…"

He also celebrated his face off in the vid -- jumpin' around as if he had just won (another) Super Bowl.

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

Patrick Mahomes, meanwhile, seems to be on the side of believing Tom's footage was real -- tweeting, "Not going to lie pretty impressive…"

Of course, all three NFL superstars are talkin' golf this week because they're now just days away from taking on each other -- along with Aaron Rodgers -- at this year's The Match tournament in Las Vegas.

Mahomes and Allen will face Rodgers and Brady -- and the guys have already trash-talked each other a bunch leading up to the event.

It all officially kicks off on June 1 ... #cantwait!

Tom Brady Shows Off Sweet Lefty Swing ... In BP Sesh With Gronk

Tom Brady is proving, yet again, he's great at everything ... revealing on Tuesday during a batting practice session with Rob Gronkowski that he's got a buttery smooth baseball swing!!

The 44-year-old hit up a diamond in what looked like South Florida with Gronk and his longtime trainer, Alex Guerrero, and took some sweet hacks from a left-handed stance.

Brady crushed two balls in the clip -- and looked every bit like he belonged in the batter's box.

"Got some cuts in this morning," said the 7-time Super Bowl champ, who was actually drafted by the Montreal Expos way back in 1995. "Wonder if that Expos offer is still on the table…"

In the clip, TB12 said it had been "a long f***ing time" since he last swung a bat ... but his deep fly balls to center and right field showed he's still got magic in his hands.

Brady -- who's a right-handed QB -- seemed to be impressed with his work ... joking with a fan on his TikTok page that he was "raking" with the bat.

As for Gronk, he was tasked with shagging Brady's fly balls ... getting in a good run-and-throw sesh in what could be a clue that the tight end is close to reuniting with Brady on a football field soon.

Calvin Magee Former NFL Tight End, Coach ... Dead at 59

Calvin Magee, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end and coach at Jacksonville State University, has died ... the school announced on Friday.

He was 59.

"Our hearts are broken with the loss of our beloved friend Calvin Magee," Rich Rodriguez, head coach for the JSU Gamecocks said in a statement. "Calvin was a great husband, great father, and grandfather, great coach, great friend and great man."

"He impacted my life and the lives of so many others in such a positive way. Our thoughts and prayers are with his beautiful family - wife Rose, daughters Jade and Jasmine, son Bryson, his grandchildren, and all his friends and relatives. Our world is less, but heaven got better."

"I miss him dearly already. I love you, my brother," Rich added.

Magee, whose coaching career began in the early '90s at Tampa Catholic High School in Florida, joined Rodriguez's staff after leaving Duke University this past December.

During his more than two decades of coaching experience, Magee made stops at South Florida, West Virginia, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Arizona, New Mexico, and Ole Miss.

In 2007, Magee was named the AFCA's Assistant Coach of the Year after he helped lead WVU to an 11-2 record, a Big East Championship, and a Fiesta Bowl victory over Oklahoma.

Magee spent 4 seasons in the NFL after being drafted out of Southern college, where he played in 56 games for the Bucs org.

In those games, Magee started in 34 and recorded 114 receptions, 1379 yards, and 11 touchdowns.

Magee is survived by his wife Rose, and their children, Jade, Jasmine, and Bryson.

Tom Brady I'm Getting Roasted!!! ... QB Signs Up For Netflix Special

Get ready for a slurry of avocado ice cream and deflated football jokes ... Tom Brady has signed up to be roasted as part of a new deal with Netflix.

The streaming service giant announced Tuesday it's making a series of new specials called "Greatest Roasts of All Time: GROAT" -- and TB12 is slated to be one of the first roastees.

Netflix says Brady will also serve as an executive producer for the series ... and the company actually clowned on the Tampa Bay Bucs star in its announcement for it all.

"We can't wait to burn three-time Super Bowl-losing quarterback Tom Brady, who only went back to the NFL in order to delay this roast," Netflix Vice President of Stand-up and Comedy Formats Robbie Praw said in a statement.

"In all seriousness, it's a huge thrill to work with the greatest football player of all time on this project. No one’s better at taking hits and still coming out on top, so we know the roast will be a breeze for Brady."

Brady had fun with the announcement, too ... channeling Marshawn Lynch by saying, "I'm just here so I won't get fined."

No word yet on who will be the roast master for Brady's special ... but we're sure the Spygate and pliability jabs are already brewin'!

Charles Barkley Fawns Over Tom Brady ... 'That's A Pretty Man!!!'

Did you know Tom Brady has Medusa-like powers? He does! ... according to Charles Barkley, who says the NFL star is so handsome -- he can't look the man in the eyes!!

Chuck dropped the compliments during the "NBA on TNT" broadcast Wednesday night ... while bringing up a hilarious conversation he had recently with Shaquille O'Neal.

"Shaq came in the other night and said, 'I had dinner with Tom Brady the other night,'" Chuck said. "He says 'Man, I gotta tell you something?' I said 'What?' He says, 'I was out with Tom Brady the other night -- you right, that's a pretty man.'"

Shaq couldn't deny Barkley's story ... and even added to it, saying Brady is truly "gorgeous." That's when Barkley revealed that Brady has some kind of powers in his eyes.

"Every time I'm around him, when he start talking to me and I would make you contact, I don't remember nothin' he say after that," Chuck joked.

"We'll start talking and then I make eye contact and then you know ... that's a pretty man."

This ain't the first time Barkley has mentioned the spell Brady has on him -- back in 2019, the 59-year-old said similar things about TB12's eyes on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

"I look him in the eyes and I said, 'Damn. You a pretty man,'" Barkley said to Kimmel.

"I see why he scores all the touchdowns because those defenses look into his eyes and get mesmerized."

Eric Dickerson Tom Brady Will Be Great As Analyst ... 'Like Tony Romo!!!'

051022_eric_dickerson_kal_1
LEGEND GOIN' LIVE
TMZSports.com

First Troy Aikman, then Tony Romo ... now, Tom Brady?!?

Eric Dickerson is fully expecting the G.O.A.T. to be in the same class as the former Cowboys superstars when he transitions to the booth after his football career ends ... telling TMZ Sports he thinks TB12 will be "great" as an analyst just like Aikman and Romo.

Dickerson explained why to us at LAX on Tuesday ... saying because of Brady's brain, he's expecting a Romo-like transition to TV for the Buccaneers star once he hangs up the spikes.

"I think he'll be great at it," Dickerson said. "He's a quarterback. He knows all the systems. He'll be great. He'll be like Tony Romo and all those guys. I think he'll be good."

Dickerson would know a thing or two about what awaits Brady -- he famously transitioned from Hall of Fame player to "Monday Night Football" sideline reporter back in 2000 and 2001.

And, he truly thinks Brady has what it takes to succeed in a similar role.

"Being a great quarterback doesn't mean you'll be a great commentator," Dickerson said, "but I think Tom will do a great job."

Fox Sports is certainly hoping E.D. is right -- because, according to the New York Post, the company gave Brady a whopping 10-year, $375 MILLION contract to enter the color commentator role after his time in Tampa ends.

No word on when that'll be -- Tom tweeted Tuesday he has "a lot of unfinished business on the field" still ... but if you're listening to Dickerson, it sounds like ya better prepare for a bunch more years of Brady dominating his profession either way.

Tom Brady Joining Fox Sports After NFL Career ... $375 Million!!!

UPDATE

9:49 AM PT -- Brady reportedly got a MASSIVE payday as part of the historic deal -- he is going to rake in $375 million over 10 years, according to the NY Post.

UPDATE

It is believed to be the biggest contract in sports broadcasting history.

Tom Brady won't be too far away from football after he retires -- the Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar will join Fox Sports as a lead analyst when he officially decides to walk away from the game.

The network made the news official on Tuesday ... saying it is "pleased" to bring TB12 on board "immediately following his playing career."

The gig will include calling the biggest marquee matchups of the season alongside play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt ... as well as serving as an ambassador for the Fox team, according to exec. Lachlan Murdoch.

Brady commented about the future move just minutes ago ... saying he's pumped for the role, but making it clear he's focused on the task at hand.

"Excited, but a lot of unfinished business on the field with the @Buccaneers #LFG."

It's a major get for Fox -- and it will most definitely come with a huge paycheck for Brady. Tony Romo -- who joined the booth after retiring in 2017 -- is reportedly making around $18 mil. over 10 years to be CBS' lead analyst.

Brady flirted with retirement earlier this year ... walking away from the game for less than 2 months before coming back.

His post-football life appeared to be in Hollywood ... as he's currently filming "80 For Brady," a movie starring Jane Fonda, Sally Field and more.

The Fox announcement comes shortly after Troy Aikman signed a deal with ESPN.
