Jameis Winston 'It Would Be Great to Play In Florida'

Jameis Winston tells TMZ Sports -- yes, TMZ Sports -- that it would be "great" to play for an NFL team in Florida ... this just days after he wrapped up a meeting with the Tampa Bay Bucs.

The Heisman Trophy winner landed in New York Wednesday ... and with the NFL Draft just 2 months away, we had to ask the possible #1 pick if he had a preference on which team calls his name.

Winston didn't exactly give anything away ... but he did tell us his favorite movie of all time -- shout-out to Tom Hanks.

One last thing ... Jameis was rockin' Nike sweatpants and a Nike sweatshirt ... but an Under Armour backpack. So, we're guessing he hasn't decided on a sponsorship yet.

But at this point, it's probably just a matter of time.

NFL's Dashon Goldson Diddy's a Beast He's One Hell of an Athlete

0-h95c1y5e

He may have cheated to beat NFL star Dashon Goldson in a footrace, but Diddy is no joke when it comes to speed ... so says Goldson who tells us the 45-year-old mogul's a beast in the gym.

As we previously reported, Diddy challenged the Tampa Bay Bucs safety to a 100 yard dash outside of Jay Glazer's Unbreakable Performance Center in L.A. this week ... and won!

Goldson came on "TMZ Hollywood Sports" to defend himself -- and though his explanation is pretty sound, he was clearly impressed by the hip hop star.

Diddy Beats NFL Speedster In Foot Race ... Only Cheats a Little

0-k16ztyip

Tampa Bay Bucs safety Dashon Goldson runs the 40 in 4.65 seconds ... and he just got SMOKED in a foot race by Diddy.

For the record, Diddy cheated ... but still, pretty impressive!!! The race went down outside Unbreakable Performance on the Sunset Strip ... where both guys workout on the reg.

After the victory, Diddy was super humble and played the whole thing down ... KIDDING, HE WENT CRAZY AND SHAMED DASHON ON CAMERA!!!

Take that. Take that. Take that.

NBA Star OUT-THUNDERSTORMS NFL STAR ... At L.A. Strip Club

One made it THUNDERSTORM ... the other made it drizzle.

TMZ Sports has learned ... L.A. Clippers star Glen "Big Baby" Davis and Tampa Bay Bucs star Dashon Goldson were two of the stars that hit up the grand opening of Ace of Diamonds in L.A. on Monday.

For the record, Goldson signed a $41.2 million contract in 2013. Davis has made about $26 million in his NBA career.

Which is why it was a bit shocking when Big Baby created his own indoor monsoon that dwarfed Goldson's mini-downpour.

Our strip club sources tell us Davis was throwin' so much cash around, 4 dancers left with $3k each ... and that doesn't include the $5k he dropped around the stage.

Check out the pic below which shows one dancer's take from Davis.

As for Goldson, as one strip club source put it -- "He made it sprinkle."

No one said being fiscally responsible was fun.

NFL Star Mike Evans I'M ENGAGED Check Out the Massive Rock!

Sorry ladies, Tampa Bay Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans is officially off the market ... 'cause he just got engaged -- and proposed with a pretty solid diamond ring!

Evans -- who just finished up one helluva rookie season -- popped the question to Ashli Dotson in late December ... right around Xmas and Ashli's 21st birthday.

The two met back in 2013 while Mike was playing ball at Texas A&M ... and things got serious between the two in February 2014 ... when she announced the relationship on social media.

No word on when the two plan on tying the knot.

FYI -- We did some digging ... looks like the ring came in a blue box.

According to our jeweler sources, it's a Tiffany "Soleste" ring -- "a cushion modified brilliant diamond encircled by a double row of bead-set diamonds."

Ex-NFL Star Simeon Rice I've Never Worn Super Bowl Ring ... It's Not for Flossin'

0-pgkivh8u

It's got more than 50 diamonds ... yellow AND white gold ... and was designed by Tiffany -- but ex-NFL star Simeon Rice says he's NEVER worn his Super Bowl ring out in public.

Rice was a part of the Tampa Bay Bucs team that smashed the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII back in 2003 -- and got the bling that goes along with the trophy.

But when he was out in NYC yesterday, Rice told us the ring does NOT belong in his wardrobe ... it belongs on his mantle -- and he refuses to wear it out.

Clearly, Simeon doesn't see eye-to-eye on the issue with another famous Rice ... Jerry ...who is often seen rocking his Super Bowl rings out to the nightclubs juts for the hell of it.

Then again, when Jerry rocks his ring out ... he's still got TWO MORE for the mantle.

Mike Williams BROTHER SURRENDERS NFL Star Claims He 'Fell on the Knife'

The younger brother of NFL star Mike Williams has turned himself in to authorities ... though Mike is now telling cops the whole thing was an accident and he "fell" on the knife his bro was holding.

Mike's brother, Eric Baylor, was taken into custody last night ... he's facing battery and domestic violence charges for allegedly stabbing the Tampa Bay Bucs receiver in the left thigh.

But cops say ... despite multiple witnesses who say the two had been arguing before the stabbing, Mike is NOT blaming his brother.

"[Mike's] account is that they were horsing around in the kitchen and he fell on the knife that his brother was holding," a rep for the Sheriff's Office says.

Suuuuuure.

As for Williams, officials say his injuries are "non-life threatening" and he's been released from the hospital.

Mike Williams WARRANT ISSUED FOR BROTHER Allegedly Stabbed NFL Star

An arrest warrant has been issued for the brother of NFL star Mike Williams ... after cops say he stabbed the Tampa Bay Bucs wide out during an altercation in the player's Tampa home ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Officials say 26-year-old Williams was stabbed in the left thigh (above the knee) Sunday afternoon ... however they have not released information about the severity of the injury.

Cops tell TMZ Sports ... investigators spoke to witnesses and a warrant was issued for Eric Baylor for aggravated battery and domestic violence.

Williams -- who signed a $40 million contract with the Bucs last year -- was rushed to a nearby hospital where he's being treated.

Story developing ...

'Project Runway' Star: New TB Bucs Jerseys 'A LOT SEXIER!'

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are finally making some progress ... at least when it comes to fashion ... because TWO top couture designers tell us the new Bucs uniforms are downright SEXY!

TMZ Sports spoke with "Project Runway" alum Michael Costello -- who also designed Beyonce's Grammy dress -- and he tells us he's all about the change in Tampa Bay.

"I LOVE the new uniform," Costello says ... "It's fresh, it's cool. It's a lot sexier. The old one looked like a t-shirt."

We also spoke with celeb stylist/designer June Ambrose ... who's worked with huge stars like Jay Z and Diddy ... who's also fired up for the Bucs' new uni to hit the field.

"The look reminds me of this wild black bird! It's a sexy suit ... looks like it's ready for the runway!"

Ambrose adds, "I love how it minimizes the tight end of the players tail. The suit is sleek and super powerful! All the ingredients for the iconic class."

It's good news for the Bucs -- 'cause as Deion Sanders once said: "If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good. If you play good, they pay good."

Ex-NFL Star Michael Clayton Thank God Lil Boosie's Free!!

Former NFL wide receiver Michael Clayton has been friends with Lil Boosie since they were kids -- and he tells TMZ Sports he's VERY EXCITED his "dawg" is finally out of prison.

Boosie was released from Louisiana State Penitentiary on Wednesday, where the rapper had been locked up since 2009 for drugs.

Now that Boosie's free, Clayton -- who was a beast on the Tampa Bay Bucs -- says, "For me, it feels really good that he's out."

"He's got a sweet soul," Clayton says ... "He took care of a lot of people before he went to prison."

Clayton says he just spoke with Boosie's mother -- who says she's "very happy to have her baby home."

Michael -- who stayed in touch with Boosie throughout his prison stint -- is also optimistic that Boosie left the pokey a changed man.

"He learned a good lesson," Michael says ... "Sometimes being behind them bars helps you learn."
